At-Tawbah 80: (Oh Muhammad!) Ask for their forgiveness if you desire, or don’t. Even if you ask for their forgiveness seventy times, Allah will never forgive them. This is because of their denial of Allah and Allah’s Messenger. Nations that continue with great sins cannot attain Allah’s guidance.

The misinterpretation
(O Muhammad) Ask forgiveness for them or not; Even if you ask forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah will never forgive them. This is due to their denial of Allah and His Messenger. Allah does not make the society of evildoers mislead.
The right translation
(Oh Muhammad!) Ask for their forgiveness if you desire, or don’t. Even if you ask for their forgiveness seventy times, Allah will never forgive them. This is because of their denial of Allah and Allah’s Messenger. Nations that continue with great sins cannot attain Allah’s guidance.
Explanation
This is where this verse goes wrong: Allah does not guide a party of transgressors. The truth is: The people who continue in misguidance cannot attain Allah's guidance.
This is where it goes wrong: The community of transgressors cannot attain the guidance of Allah. Are there not those who are guided among the community of transgressors? There are many. Does this mean that our Lord did not know who among the community of disbelievers would be guided, and so He was ignorant of the future? Do not the verses contradict each other according to the Qur'anic verse, "There is not a single living creature that will come until the Day of Judgment, so that we do not know what it will do"? Does not our Lord say that if this Qur'an were a human fabrication, you would find many inconsistent words in it? Then the truth of this is as follows. The community of disbelievers cannot attain the guidance of Allah (while they are in that state). But when they see the truth, they repent and become guided.
What is said in the video
80. There are mistakes in this verse too.
O Muhammad! Ask forgiveness for them or do not ask. Even if you ask forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah will never forgive them. That is because they denied Allah and His Messenger. Allah does not guide the community of transgressors. It's right up to the end; at the end it spoils the matter. Allah does not guide the community of transgressors, it says. Whereas the community of transgressors, as long as it persists in that state, cannot attain Allah's guidance.
He speaks the truth. Up to (?) it is always like that.
Communities that persist in transgression cannot attain Allah's guidance. That's how the end should be. Yes.
