The misinterpretation

They agreed to be with the women left behind, their hearts were sealed. That's why they don't understand.

The right translation

They were content with sitting with the women who stayed behind and with this action, they have made their hearts sealed (in the covenant of Alastu bi Rabbikum). Because of this, they will not understand.

Explanation

This is where it is wrong: A seal was set on their hearts. The truth is: They had their hearts sealed (earlier in the address Elestu bi Rabbikum).

In the address Elestu bi Rabbikum, our Lord said to our souls created in the realm of Lahut that I am the one who created you, and our souls, the human beings, were divided into three divisions there. The rightists, the leftists and the mukarrebun class. Our Lord made a covenant with each person individually. He wrote everyone's desire and will as his destiny. Those who disbelieved, because they were waiting for the Lord of their imagination, when they made a covenant with our Lord, they themselves had their hearts sealed by our Lord.

When it is said that a seal has been set on their hearts: Why, why and who put this seal on them? Since the verse is ambiguous, it was deemed necessary to open it.

What is said in the video

so that we make good use of our time, this evening we will continue with the wrong verses where we left off. In verse 87 of Surah At-Tawbah: they were content to be with the women who stay behind. A seal was set on their hearts. Therefore they do not understand, it says. Now here, when the Prophet was going out to war, some had asked him for permission. They did not want to come. In this situation Allah Almighty makes known their state. Now, the wrongly rendered place. They were content to be with the women who stay behind. Same here, the same. In this state their hearts, what does it say about their hearts?

A seal was set. All right, a seal was set, but who set it? Who had it set? These places are very important. I mean, verses do not stay in suspense. Here we opened it up in brackets. At the address "Elestü bi-Rabbiküm" they had them sealed. I mean, they had their hearts sealed by Allah Almighty within an understanding outside of Islam. Therefore they do not understand. Yes. This is what brings clarity to a person. What does the old one say? I mean the faulty one: a seal was set on their hearts. Why was it set? These are Allah's servants. Since they were created within their own will and fallible too, well, if warnings had been given to them...

Despite the warnings, despite His saying "I am your Lord", they rebelled against Allah Almighty. "You are not our Lord." "You too, well, appear to us just like a human being." "We are waiting for the Lord of our imagination." "You cannot be our Lord, our Creator," they said. They didn't say it, but their thoughts were like that. To prove the same thought, we can tell you this verse. We would have sent angels down to them from the sky and made them prostrate, it says. So the human being whom Allah Almighty left free in his own will: people, well, had themselves programmed. This program is either obedient or rebellious, wretched.

So because these opposed Allah Almighty, what happened? Allah Almighty sealed their hearts. Sealed them. Who had them sealed? They had them sealed themselves. By whom? By Allah Almighty. Yes. So they were content to be with the women who stay behind. In this state they had their hearts sealed earlier, at the address "Elestü bi-Rabbiküm". Therefore they do not understand.

Yes. Now if these were not opened up, here: a seal was set on their hearts. Yes, right. You'd pass over it as "they are sealed" or "deniers", but the real core points here are very important. If the mistakes are rendered well, it becomes clear that all responsibility lies with the human being, and that by his own deeds the human being had himself programmed by Allah Almighty of his own will. Yes.
