At-Tawbah 102: Others have confessed to their sins and mixed a good deed with another bad deed. (They shall repent) such that Allah will accept their repentance (of the ones who will believe). Allah is Ghafoor (Most Forgiving) and Raheem (the One Who very generously accepts repentance).

The misinterpretation

Others confessed their sins, confusing one good deed with another bad deed. (If they repent) it is hoped that Allah will accept their repentance. Because Allah is very forgiving, very merciful.

The right translation

Others have confessed to their sins and mixed a good deed with another bad deed. (They shall repent) such that Allah will accept their repentance (of the ones who will believe). Allah is Ghafoor (Most Forgiving) and Raheem (the One Who very generously accepts repentance).

Explanation

The wrong opening in this verse is this: (If they repent) it is hoped that Allah will accept their repentance. Verily: (If they repent) that Allah may accept (the repentance of those among them who believe).

In this verse, they have made our Lord unaware of the future. According to the verse, "There is not a single creature that will come until the Day of Resurrection that we do not know what it will do", they have made our Lord unaware of the future and used the word "hopefully". In this verse, Allah (swt) knows those who see the truth and return to the truth among those who disbelieve. In this case, they should use the word until. As our Lord knows those who will become Muslims in a people or in a society, He gives them the opportunity of a unit of time.

What is said in the video

Will you be able to find it? Who will open it up? Yes.

Others confessed their sins. They mixed a good deed with another, bad deed.

If they repent, it is hoped that Allah will accept their repentance. For Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful, it says. Here I've given up asking you. Because by now everyone knows this. What has it done wrong here? They say "it is hoped" about Allah Almighty. "It is hoped." Whereas Allah Almighty does not use the word "it is hoped". "So that", it says, "so that". So that Allah may accept the repentance of those among them who will believe. For Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. Whereas what does it say here? It is hoped that Allah will accept their repentance. For Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful, it says.

I mean, He will accept, in the sense of "it is hoped". When He wishes, He won't accept. Whereas "so that", "among them": this is a demonstrative pronoun. Among them there are those who will repent and live Islam. Giving them a time, a (?) opportunity. Yes.
