Explanation
The misinterpretation
So that we can see how you act. Then We made you successors on earth after them.
The right translation
After them, We made you viceroys on earth so that you would see (make yourselves witnesses against yourselves on) the deeds you would commit.
Explanation
This is the wrong opening in this verse: That We may see what kind of deeds you do. Correctly: That you may see what kind of deeds you do (that you may be witnesses to yourselves).
As we have always said, because they do not know Verse 172 of Sûrah A'raf and cannot comprehend its meaning, they have always misinterpreted such verses and attributed shortcomings to our Lord. Our Lord has programmed these worlds. According to what was this program? Surely He did not program these worlds randomly. When He programmed these worlds, He programmed what humans and creatures would do, first in Kalu Bela, the sustenance of His creations, their lifespans, where and when and what they would do. He has also made a covenant with human beings one by one. Since people's will is in their own hands, He has written their own desires and wishes as their destiny. In this case, whatever people have willed from our Lord, our Lord has given them exactly what they have willed and has written their destiny. Our Lord says in His verse: There is not a single creature that will come until the Day of Resurrection that we do not know what it will do.
Those who do not know our Lord's covenant with human beings in Surah A'râf, those commentators who cannot comprehend the meaning of where, how and what kind of a covenant our Lord made with human beings, thought that they could give the meaning of these Verses by knowing Arabic. When they gave the meanings of the Verses, they opened the Verses in contradiction with each other. They described our Lord with incomplete attributes. They themselves knew that they were in a predicament, but they could not find a way out of it because they lacked knowledge.
In this case, if what each person does is written down as his/her good deeds and sins, then the truth of the verse is: It is for you to see what kind of deeds you are doing (to witness yourselves to yourselves).
What is said in the video
Surah Yunus, verse 14. I read the wrongly translated one. So that We may see how you act. Then after them We made you successors on earth, it says. Now where is the mistake here? Wrong. What does it say? So that We may see how you act. Then after them We made you successors on earth. Now here, while translating the verses, people have ascribed attributes to Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty doesn't know what people will do. What does it say? So that We may see how you act. That is, Allah Almighty made a covenant with people. He set their desires and wishes as their aim. He made it their destiny. He loaded onto people, as characters, what a person will do.
Sir, what every single creature to come until the Day of Judgment will do, (?) according to the verse that says so; since He knows, sir, what they will do, what does it say here? So that We may see how you act. So this is a statement completely contrary to the verses. Whereas here: so that you may see how you act — Allah Almighty will make us witnesses over ourselves. He will make the surroundings bear witness. First, so that you see how you act, so that you bear witness over yourselves; then after them We made you successors on earth, it says. Yes.
That is, people, when translating the verses of Allah Almighty, according to their own minds, (?) Allah Almighty before them by their own mind too. He decides accordingly. Not according to the verses. That Allah is free of any deficient attribute and that no verse will contradict any verse — deciding with that in mind is not possible for him. All the verses have been translated this way, many verses have been translated like this.
