Yusuf 6: Thus, you will rise in the sight of Allah, Allah will teach you the interpretation of dreams and as Allah has fulfilled Allah’s blessings upon your two ancestors Abraham and Isaac, Allah’s blessings will also fulfill upon you and the offspring of Jacob. Verily, Allah is Aleem (All-knowing) and Hakeem (All-Wise).

The misinterpretation

This is how your Lord will choose you, teach you the interpretation of events (seen in the dream), and complete his favor to you and to the descendants of Jacob, just as he completed the blessing of your two ancestors, Abraham and Isaac. For your Lord is all-knowing, wise,

The right translation

Thus, you will rise in the sight of Allah, Allah will teach you the interpretation of dreams and as Allah has fulfilled Allah’s blessings upon your two ancestors Abraham and Isaac, Allah’s blessings will also fulfill upon you and the offspring of Jacob. Verily, Allah is Aleem (All-knowing) and Hakeem (All-Wise).

Explanation

This is where it is wrong: The Lord will choose you. The correct one is: He will rise in the sight of the Lord.

Our Lord does not choose anyone among His servants. Since the people who are close to our Lord among His servants and who fulfill His commands as much as they can, who observe and spread truth and justice on earth without forgetting the command of our Lord, and who live according to His verse (there are such servants of Mine that neither trade nor commerce prevents them from My remembrance) are the servants close to our Lord, He raises the one who is closest to Him from among them. Allah always observes justice, right and truth, and He does not do injustice to anyone, violating the right of the righteous and elevating the unrighteous over the righteous by violating the right of the righteous by His own desire and will. Every soul will receive the recompense of its own two hands without injustice.

What is said in the video

Yes.

Surah Yusuf, verse 6 has a mistake. Thus your Lord will choose you. And the interpretation of events seen in dreams He will teach you. And just as He completed the blessing of your earlier forefathers Abraham and Isaac, He will complete His blessing on you and on the family of Jacob too. For your Lord is All-Knowing. He is the Possessor of mercy. He is the Possessor of wisdom, it says. Possessor of wisdom. Now here, 'He will choose': when it says that, Allah Almighty whomever He wishes will choose, here. Thus your Lord will choose you. That is, He has chosen him. He is showing him (?). Whereas: thus your Lord will raise you in His sight.

You will rise in your Lord's sight. Thus you, yes, you will rise in your Lord's sight. He will teach you the interpretation of events seen in dreams. Look. Now in the wrong one: your Lord will choose you, He will teach you the interpretation of events seen in dreams. Different: thus you, in your Lord's sight, you will rise in your Lord's sight, He will teach you the interpretation of events seen in dreams. Now choosing is one thing, rising is another. Choosing means Allah Almighty choosing him. Whereas rising is a person rising to Allah Almighty by his own effort, sir. And the mistake here is in this.

We read that place to you once more. Thus your Lord will choose you and teach you the interpretation of events seen in dreams. Whereas that sentence should be like this. Thus you will rise in your Lord's sight, and the interpretation of events seen in dreams He will teach you. And just as He completed the blessing of your earlier forefathers Abraham and Isaac, He will complete His blessing on you and on the family of Jacob too. For your Lord is All-Knowing, the Possessor of wisdom. Here the meaning of wisdom, the meaning of wisdom: in the deeds Allah Almighty has done, what did He do and why? We cannot know. But Allah Almighty knows.

That is why He is the Possessor of wisdom. Here, for example, to Khidr (peace be upon him) Allah Almighty says: kill the boy. And he kills him. What is the wisdom here? That boy being rebellious, and Allah Almighty had also completed his term, (?) a cause, to Khidr (peace be upon him). So that they would be given (?) a better child. But if it were up to us, what does Moses say too? You did a bad thing, you killed an innocent child, he says. So what was the wisdom here? The child being rebellious, the parents being obedient, so that they would be given (?) a better child, telling Khidr (peace be upon him) to kill him.

These are wisdom. We cannot know them. It is within Allah Almighty's knowledge. Yes.
