The misinterpretation

Allah makes his sustenance abundant or narrow for whom He wills. They were spoiled with the life of this world. However, the life of this world next to the hereafter is nothing but a temporary benefit.

The right translation

Allah widens and narrows the provision of those who desire. They boast with the worldly life. However, in comparison to the Hereafter, the worldly life is nothing but a temporary benefit.

Explanation

This is where it goes wrong: Allah makes His sustenance abundant for whom He wills, and He makes it scarce for whom He wills. The truth is: Allah makes the sustenance abundant for whom He wills, and He makes it narrow.

Having made a covenant with our Lord in the Elestu bi Rabbikum address, people have written their own destiny with their own desires and wishes. In this case, our Lord tests people in their destiny, sometimes with existence and sometimes with non-existence, in order to keep them as witnesses to themselves, according to the verse in which He says, "We do not put on your backs the burden that you cannot bear". When people are tested within this destiny, they prove what kind of a person they are by their actual actions.

Otherwise, if Allah (swt) were to give abundant sustenance to whom He wills and limited sustenance to whom He wills, the people who disbelieve would say, "If You had given me abundant sustenance, I would not have failed to worship You," and our Lord would have led many of His servants astray because He was not aware of the condition of His servants, and in this case, our Lord, who is exalted from imperfect attributes, would have been characterized.

What is said in the video

26th verse: Allah enlarges His provision for whom He wills. If Allah enlarges His provision for whom He wills, Allah commits injustice. If He enlarged it for me too, I too — how shall I put it — since Allah gave, would become (?). Today, when people help each other, how that person loves him! And when he doesn't give, he gets angry at him. When he has wealth but doesn't give, he gets angry at him. Well now, since Allah is the Creator, the one not given to would naturally get angry at Allah. Does this fit with Allah's justice? What does it say? Allah enlarges His provision for whom He wills, and restricts it too.

They exulted in the life of this world. Yet next to the Hereafter, the life of this world is nothing but a fleeting benefit, it says. The correct version is: Allah enlarges His provision for whoever wishes, and restricts it too. For whoever wishes. Now, would a person want his provision to be restricted? Look what Allah Almighty says. With the provisions We have given you, sometimes in your lives, sometimes in your wealth, We test you, He says here. The verses correspond. They are meant to support each other. What does it say? Allah narrows the provision of whom He wills, narrows it and, uh, expands it and narrows it.

He both enlarges and restricts. They exult in the life of this world. You know, when they are given plenty, they become arrogant in the life of this world. Sir, yet next to the Hereafter, the life of this world is nothing but a fleeting benefit. A place to profit a little, a place to benefit. And then, then, the punishment of those who do not carry out Allah's commands. Yes.
