An-Nahl 108: They are the ones who have made their ears, eyes and hearts sealed towards Allah. And they are the ignorant ones.

Explanation
The misinterpretation
These are the people whose hearts, ears and eyes Allah has sealed. And they are the heedless ones.
The right translation
They are the ones who have made their ears, eyes and hearts sealed towards Allah. And they are the ignorant ones.
Explanation
This is where this verse also goes wrong: Those whose hearts, ears and eyes Allah has sealed. The truth is: Those are they who have made Allah seal their ears, their eyes and their hearts.
Our Lord does not seal anyone's hearts, ears and eyes by His will. These are the ones who do not recognize our Lord in the covenant with Him and rebel against Him. Those who do the opposite of what our Lord says are those whom Allah has sealed their hearts, ears and eyes.
What is said in the video
Let's read verse 108. Time's nearly up anyway. We'll end our lesson here.
“They are those whose hearts, ears and eyes Allah has sealed, and they are the heedless themselves,” it says. Okay, Allah Almighty: Hatemallâhu alâ kulûbihim alâ sem'ihim 'and over their eyes is a covering, and for them is a great punishment.' Fine. Ebsar – He drew a veil over their eyes. He put a plug in their ears, He sealed their hearts. He sealed them, but how did He seal them?
Those who deny Allah Almighty – because they themselves denied Allah, they themselves had the veil put on their eyes, the plug in their ears and the seal on their hearts – they themselves. Now, you commit a crime, you appear before the judge.
For your crime the judge passes a sentence on you. Go to prison, he says. Did the judge send you to prison? Or did you send yourself to prison? You had the sentence passed on yourself. Don't look for fault in the judge. Here they always blame Allah. Whereas they can't say that they had the veil put on their eyes, the plug in their ears and their hearts sealed. They had them sealed. “They are those who had Allah seal their ears, eyes and hearts. And they are the heedless themselves.” Yes.
