Explanation
The misinterpretation
When the time of the first of these came, We sent our mighty servants against you. They sought (you) by wandering among the houses. It was a fulfilled promise.
The right translation
When the time of the first (mischief) came, Our servants of great might came upon you. They went between the houses and searched (for you). (In return for your transgression) this was a promise to be fulfilled.
Explanation
This is where this verse goes wrong: We have sent upon you Our servants who are mighty and strong. The truth is: Our servants who are strong and powerful have come upon you.
People do not understand Verse 172 of Surah A'râf and therefore they make the mistake because of this Verse. Allah (swt) made a covenant with people at Kalu Bela and wrote everyone's desires and wishes as their destiny. He programmed the worlds according to people's situations. According to this program, our Lord informs us of what will happen in parts before it happens. Accordingly, in the previous verse our Lord says:
(4- We say to the Children of Israel in the Book: "You will be arrogant to the point of arrogance in the earth and you will make mischief in it twice.") According to what does our Lord say this? According to the covenant that people have given to our Lord, He informs us what will happen until the Day of Judgment because He has programmed the worlds. In this case, our Lord says in His verse that there is not a single creature that will come until the Day of Judgment that we do not know what it will do. Since our Lord informs us with His Verses what will happen, and since our Lord's Verses confirm each other, the places in the verse that are opened incorrectly are seen as superstition.
In this case, our Lord said: "We have sent upon you Our servants who are strong and powerful" is the wrong opening of the verse. The correct one is: "Our servants came upon you with might and power". As we have explained above, since our Lord writes the destinies of people for themselves and programs the worlds, whatever each person wills from our Lord with his own will, it is not that our Lord sends people upon people, but that our Lord informs us what people will do with their desires and wishes.

“When the time for the first of these came, We sent against you servants of Ours of great strength,” it says. Allah Almighty says this about Israel. And they brought them to the point of wiping them out completely. “We sent servants of Ours of great strength,” it says. “They searched for you, going about among the houses. This was a promise fulfilled,” it says. Since the second will come too, they are going underground. They are building shelters. They know it very well. He both knows it and never gives up his denial.

We, they say, are those close to Allah. So nothing will happen to us, they say. Do you have proof? We are all children of Adam, all of us come from the spirit of the Prophet, all of us brought into being from the spirit of Allah Almighty, brought into being from a part of it. In this respect our Lord has endowed us with the forms of His essence and addressed us to His essence. Yes. “When the time for the first of these came, servants of Ours of great strength came against him. They searched for you, going about among their houses. In return for your transgressors, a promise to be fulfilled is being made.” Right. Yes.
