The misinterpretation
Whoever wishes this fleeting world, we will immediately give him, that is, anyone we wish, as much as we wish in the world, and then we will put him in hell, where he will enter condemned and expelled.
The right translation
To those who desire the worldly life, which passes quickly, We give in the world whatever they desire (as part of their fate), and then We put them in hell as (people who are) condemned and expelled.
Explanation
This is where this verse goes wrong: Whoever wishes for this fleeting world, He will give him, that is, whomsoever We will, as much as We will in this world. The truth is: Whoever wishes for this fleeting world, He will give him, that is, the one who wishes, as much as he wishes (within his destiny) immediately in this world.
Whoever wishes for this fleeting world. Some people put the hereafter behind them and prioritize the world. They want to possess the world as if they will never die. How the verse opens. They say that we give as much as we wish to whomever we wish, immediately in this world. There are two mistakes in this statement. 1- To whom we wish 2 It is said as much as we wish. We do not give to whomever we wish, we give to whomever we wish as much as they wish within their destiny. The verse that opens correctly should be like this. Because the verse behind it proves it. Then We will put him into Hell, where he will be condemned and expelled.
Now, if the verse is opened in the wrong way, Allah (swt) will give as much as He wills to whomever He wills in this world, and then He will condemn this person for the blessings He has bestowed upon him and put him in Hell. What did this person do on his own to be condemned? This person used what our Lord gave him. However, the true meaning of the verse is as we have explained above. And whoever wishes for this fleeting world, We will give him, the one who wishes, as much as he wishes (within his destiny) in this world, and then We will take him to Hell, where he will enter, condemned and expelled.
What is said in the video
Verse 18. I'm reading the wrong one: “Whoever desires this swiftly passing world, to him – that is, to whomever We will – We give at once in this world as much as We will; then We put him into Hell, which he will enter blamed and rejected,” it says. To whoever desires. To whoever desires. Look, what does it say? “Whoever desires this swiftly passing world.” What does it say here? “Desires the swiftly passing world.” This is right too. Then? “To him, that is, to whomever We will,” it says. To him, that is, to whoever desires. Here it now changes it. Whereas this time it switches from the one who desires to whom He wills.
It switches to whom Allah wills. Whereas to the one who desires, to whoever desires, as much as he desired within his destiny, He gives at once in this world, “then We put him into Hell, which he will enter blamed and rejected,” it says.
So the verses have all been translated wrongly like this, and people fall into doubts this way. Hodja, here it says this, there it says that, they say. Will you open it up? Of course we will, God willing. We're opening them up already.
