The misinterpretation

Surprise with your invitation those among them whom you can afford; Make a fuss over them with your cavalry, your pedestrians. Be a partner in their wealth and children, make promises to themselves. Satan cannot promise people anything but deception.

The right translation

(Satan) confuses those whom he has power over with his call. With his cavalry and his infantry, he makes assaults on them. He becomes a partner in their possessions and their children, makes them promises. Shaytan does not promise anything to mankind but deception.

Explanation

This verse has been explained completely wrongly. May Allah protect those who explain such Verses. In the wrongly opened Verse, our Lord is cursing people. The people who fulfill the command of our Lord are the relatives of our Lord. In this case, our Lord is saying to Satan, "Surprise those of them whom you are able with your invitation, and make them clamor with your cavalry and your pedestrians. Take a share in their wealth, their children, and make promises to them, and if Satan is to fulfill the command of our Lord, why is he cursed? The correct opening of the verse is as follows: He will confuse those of them whom he is able with his invitation. He makes them clamor with his cavalry and bows. He shares their property, their children, and makes promises to them.

What is said in the video

Our son Ömer Sefa says, on page 287, we left off at verse 64, he says. We're reading verse 64, we're reading the wrong version.

"Lead astray with your call those of them you can," it says. To whom does Allah Almighty say this? He says it to Satan. Well, if Satan does this job too, what is Satan's sin? Look how nicely it puts it. It says: "Lead astray with your call those of them you can." In carrying out the command of Allah Almighty, Satan would be doing a good job. What does it say? "Drown them in clamour with your cavalry and your infantry. Be a partner in their wealth and their children." Now, be a partner in their wealth and their children; I'll explain these to you too. "Make promises to them." "Satan promises people nothing but deception," it says.

Allah Almighty both gives Satan an order, and what does He say? "Satan promises people nothing but deception," it says. Now here, let's first read the correct version, then let's explain on the basis of the correct version. "He leads astray with his call those of them he can." That is, Satan, by his own will, leads astray those he can. What does it say above, in the wrong one? "Lead astray with your call those of them you can." Allah Almighty is giving Satan an order. Whereas: "He leads astray with his call those of them he can." Who? Satan, by his own will. "With his cavalry and his infantry he drowns them in clamour.

He becomes a partner in their wealth and their children." How does he become a partner in their wealth? He makes them earn unlawfully. Sir, he deceives people.

He makes them encroach on property. The wealth he made them earn this way, of course Satan has a share in it too, through the temptation he gave. Sir, he has become a partner in their wealth. How does he become a partner in their children?

When a man has intercourse with his wife, he doesn't say the Basmala. When he has intercourse without the Basmala, sir, Satan likewise comes into contact with him. And those children, sir, why don't today's children obey their parents, sir? Why do they wander on satanic paths? That's why he is a partner in their children too. He becomes a partner in their wealth and their children.

He makes the promises that are promised to them. "Satan promises people nothing but deception," it says. Yes. They ascribe attributes to Allah Almighty. They have Him give Satan orders, and then what does Satan say? "He promises people nothing but deception," it says. Yes.
