Translation

We are sending from the Qur’an (Verses) that are a cure and mercy for the mu’min. But for the oppressors; these will only increase their loss.

Tafsir

By creating the human intellect incomplete, Allah intended that people should know Him by repenting when they make mistakes of their own volition. Allah (swt) has created human beings mentally incomplete in this way, so that they may seek guidance from Allah (swt) and present their helplessness to Allah (swt) and seek His help to shed light before them.

Since Allah (swt) knew what the people He created would need, He shed light on the world of humanity by revealing the Holy Qur'an to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), from whom no more Prophets and Books would come.

Whoever holds fast to the Qur'an that Allah has sent down, realizes their own shortcomings and in their helplessness, judges by the word of Allah, the Creator of themselves and the worlds, which He has set before them as a light, these people will find life. They will receive Allah's mercy both in this world and in the Hereafter. As they live in this world and see the truth in the face of Allah's Verses, their faith increases and they find peace. With their trust in Allah, they will be rewarded in the sight of their Lord.

And whoever does not believe in Allah and the Hereafter, and out of hatred and arrogance opposes the commands of Allah and follows the paths of their own minds, they will suffer from heart distress and inner constriction, they will not find eternal peace, and they will be in a state where the clouds in the sky will crack from their hatred and arrogance when they hear the Truth in the face of Allah's Word of Truth.

As long as they continue in this state, their disbelief increases because they oppose the verses of the Qur'an. In this respect, the Qur'an increases the believer's faith and the disbeliever's disbelief.

What is said in the video

You can tell me the parts that aren't understood. In verse 82 of Surah Al-Isra there is a mistake. "We send down from the Quran something that is healing and mercy for the believers. But it only increases the loss of the wrongdoers," it says. "We send down from the Quran something that," it says. Whereas: "We send down from the Quran something that is healing for the believers." Look, now what does it say here? "We send down from the Quran something that is healing and mercy for the believers." The correct one too: "We send down something that is healing and mercy for the believers.

But the wrongdoers only increase their loss with it." With the verses. You know, it says the Quran increases the faith of the believer and the unbelief of the unbeliever. Now what does it say here? "It is healing and mercy for the believers. But it only increases the loss of the wrongdoers," says the Quran. It doesn't increase anyone's loss. Now look, pay attention here. When it says it only increases the loss of the wrongdoers, this contradicts this verse: the Quran was sent down as a mercy to the worlds. Mercy. The Quran increases no one's loss. But the wrongdoer increases his own sin himself, by turning his back on it.

What does it say? The Quran, the faith of the believer, and the unbeliever's unbelief toward the Quran increases. It increases his unbelief. Sir, against what? Because he doesn't believe in the Quran. Because he doesn't believe in the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). These, in Allah's existence too, according to Surah Al-Ikhlas, sir, since they do not fully submit to Allah Almighty, since they see Allah as a being with wife and children, they increase their own unbelief themselves.

"We send down from the Quran something that," it says, "is healing and mercy for the believers." When the believer, in his faith in Allah, fulfils his duty with loyalty, he is included in Allah's mercy. As for the wrongdoers, those who deny increase their own unbelief by not believing in the Quran.
