The misinterpretation

We woke them up so that we could see which of them (Kahf and his opponents) would better calculate the time they stayed.

The right translation

Then, We woke them up, for them to see; which one from the two groups calculates the duration they stayed in the cave better.

Explanation

This is where it is wrong: We woke them up so that We might see which of them (Ashab al-Kahf and their adversaries) could better calculate the duration of their stay. Verily: We woke them up so that We might see which of them (Ashab al-Kahf and their adversaries) could better calculate the duration of their stay.

Our Lord made a covenant with human beings without programming these worlds and wrote their desires and wishes as their destiny. There is not a single creature that will come until the Day of Resurrection that we do not know what it will do, according to the verse, and according to the verse that says We know the secrets of your hearts, according to the wrong opening in the verse: "Our Lord did not need them to say: "We have awakened them so that We may see which of the people can better calculate the duration of their stay". Our Lord, who knows what the creatures will do day by day, hour by hour and minute by minute in this whole world, sees and knows everything in the best way. In this case, the correct opening meaning of the verse is as follows: We woke them up to see which of them (Ashab al-Kahf and his opponents) could better calculate the duration of their stay.

What is said in the video

There is also a mistake in verse 12 of Surah Al-Kahf. Let's explain this part too. 'Then, which of the two groups, the Companions of the Cave and their opponents, would better calculate the time they stayed — so that We might see this, We woke them,' it says. So Allah Almighty doesn't know which would give the better account? They have always blamed Allah Almighty like this. Yet look, what do we say? 'Then, which of the two groups, the Companions of the Cave and their opponents, would better calculate the time they stayed — so that they might see it, We woke them.' So that they themselves see. We already know. How?

And when he goes to the city, sir, doesn't he see that the city has changed a lot? Sir, and with the money in his hand, from way back in (?), what was it — seeing it was the money of their kings, the new king, that it was from very old times, thinks he found this treasure, and tells it to (?). By the reckoning of that time, they are doing the calculation, they are. So that they themselves see the reckoning. Sir, so that they themselves witness the reckoning of how long they slept, this is how Allah Almighty has it done. What does He do then? When he returns to his friends' place, sir, they are again there asleep. They are still asleep even now.

And they will rise near the Last Day. They too will (?) like that. They are still alive.

Yes.
