Al-Kahf 17: (If you were there) you would see the sun. When it was rising, it inclined towards the right of their cave, and when it set, it passed by without touching them. (Without being disturbed by the sun) they were (sleeping) in a corner of the cave. This is from the miracles of Allah. Those who desire guidance from Allah have found guidance. And those who do not desire guidance, you cannot find a friend who will direct them towards the truth.

Explanation
The misinterpretation
(My Messenger! If you had been there) You would have seen the sun; When he is born he leans to the right of his caves; while it was sinking, it would pass from the left side without hitting them. (Thus) They (sleeping) in a corner of the cave (without being disturbed by the sunlight). This is one of Allah's Verses. Whoever Allah guides, he has reached the Truth. And whoever deprives him of guidance, you will no longer find a friend to guide him.
The right translation
(If you were there) you would see the sun.
Explanation
This is where this verse goes wrong: Whomever Allah guides, he has reached the Truth. And whomsoever He deprives of guidance, you will not find for him a friend to guide him to the truth. The truth is: Whoever seeks guidance from Allah, he has attained the Truth. And whoever does not wish for guidance, you will not find for him a friend who will guide him to the truth.
As we have always said, since the Qur'an is full of our Lord's wishes on mankind. We are putting here a part of the footnote we opened in verse 172 of Surah al-A'râf, for more details you can read the footnote of verse 172 of Surah al-A'râf.
In this verse we have written that our Lord has no will over people, that every soul has made a covenant with our Lord, and that people's desires and wishes are written to them as destiny, and that this will never change, and that in this case our Lord has no will over people. It is explained in detail in verse 172 of Surah A'râf. Why were we created, where were we created, why did He make a covenant with mankind and why did He send us into the world even though He knew what we were? You can get information there.
What is said in the video
17. Verse in Surah Al-Kahf is mistranslated. 'My Messenger, had you been there, you would have seen the sun when it rose incline to the right of their cave, and when it set, pass by on the left side without touching them. Thus, untroubled by sunlight, they slept in a corner of the cave.' Correct. 'This is among Allah's signs.' Of course. That is, Allah Almighty does what He wills. Sir, 'whomever Allah guides' — here is where they go wrong. 'Whomever Allah guides has reached the truth.' 'And whomever He deprives of guidance, a friend to direct him to what is right you will not find.' These (?) things they ascribe to Allah Almighty.
Sir, it must be Hazrat İbrahim Fakirullah, I think — his student, what does he do? In Erzurum, from sunrise to sunset, such a mirror was placed in the tower that he makes it shine on his teacher's head, from sunrise to sunset. When it lost a few degrees in the tower due to earthquakes, they just could not set it right again. Yes. The correct version: 'My Messenger, had you been there, you would have seen the sun, when it rose, to the right of their cave incline, and when it set, pass by on the left without touching them. Thus, untroubled by sunlight, in a corner of the cave they slept. This is among Allah's signs.
Whoever asks Allah for guidance has reached the truth. And whoever does not ask for guidance, a friend to direct him to what is right you will not find either.'
