The misinterpretation

Do not say, "I will do it tomorrow," for anything, unless it is what Allah wills. If you forget this, remember Allah and I hope my Lord will guide me to a path closer to the truth than this.

The right translation

But say; “By Allah’s wish (Insha’Allah)!” When you forget, remember your Lord and say; “I hope that my Lord will make me attain a closer, better truth.”

Explanation

Where this verse is wrong is this: "And He will guide me to a path nearer than this." The truth is: "It is hoped that my Lord will show me a straight path nearer than this."

There is no will of Allah (swt) upon people in what they do. Every human being is responsible for what he does of his own volition and receives rewards or sins. Allah (swt) does not wish anything on people. But when people talk to people about what they are going to do, they say, "I am going to do this tomorrow, or we will meet tomorrow. If they make appointments with people in the future, such as let's meet with these people later, then they need permission from their Lord. The truth is: He should say, "It is hoped that my Lord will show me a straight path closer than this."

Why should we say it in this way, in remembrance of our Lord? Longevity is shirk! We have no proof that we have enough time to breathe out the breath that we take. In that case, if my Lord permits, that is, if I have a lifetime until then, hopefully my Lord will show me a straight path closer to me than this one. We should say if Allah permits. Otherwise, O man! Does he not ask, "According to what did you bind your covenant by fixing this time?

What is said in the video

In the verses we are explaining, Surah Al-Kahf, verse 24 — that's where we left off. Yes, Surah Al-Kahf, verse 24. What does Allah Almighty say here? Surah Al-Kahf.

'Without making it dependent on Allah's will,' it says — this is where they make the mistake, here. 'Without making it dependent on Allah's will,' it says, 'without saying inshallah' — there, bless them, they say it right. Sir: 'Do not say of anything: I will do this tomorrow. If you forget this, remember Allah. I hope my Lord guides me to a path closer than this to what is right,' it says. These are correct. Only this beginning part. But it is like this: 'But when you ask something of Allah Almighty' — look, 'without making it dependent on Allah's will,' it says here; it is not like that here — 'but when you ask something of Allah Almighty, say: I will do it, inshallah.' Inshallah.

Say: I will do it. Because la gavile Allah — we do not know the (?). The (?) are in Allah Almighty's hands. Do you have a deed? Saying 'on such a day, sir, I will do this,' did you guarantee that your life will still be there? Now in this case, when people are going to do something in the future, say inshallah. That is, by Allah's permission, permission — if Allah permits you. Here they took it (?): 'without making it dependent on Allah's will,' it says, but they don't give the original. The original: 'But when you ask Allah Almighty for something, say: I will do it, inshallah.' 'When you forget, remember your Lord and say: It may be that my Lord leads me to something closer than this — friend, to what is right, to good, to a success.

Yes.
