The misinterpretation

infidels; Do they think that they will leave me and take my servants as friends? We have prepared Hell as a mansion for the disbelievers.

The right translation

Do My servants think that they will leave Me and adopt the infidels as companions? We have prepared the hell as a place of dwelling for the blasphemers.

Explanation

This is where this verse goes wrong: Do the disbelievers think that they will leave Me and take My servants as friends? The truth is: Do My servants think that they will leave Me and take the disbelievers as friends?

In this verse, they have turned the verse upside down. When it says, "Did the disbelievers think that they would leave Me and take My servants as friends", it means that the disbelievers are embraced by our Lord, they do not leave our Lord, they become servants of Allah, but the people who love Allah and live as Muslims in obedience to our Lord, our Lord excludes them, they are with the disbelievers and do not make friends with Muslims. In this case, people who are outside the command of our Lord are embraced by our Lord, and people who obey our Lord are excluded by our Lord. With what kind of understanding is this the opening of a Qur'anic verse?

The correct explanation is: "Do My servants think that they will leave Me and take the disbelievers as friends?" Because the disbelievers denied Our Lord in the address of Elestu bi Rabbikum, Our Lord called them false disbelievers. The people who deny Allah and associate partners with Allah, the people who call Allah and obey our Lord do not make friends with those who deny our Lord. Because they are selfish and haristic. Our Lord says in His verse. They will not take you into their midst unless you make concessions to them. Can you establish friendship with such people? Can such people claim Allah?

What is said in the video

There is a mistake in verse 102 of Surah Al-Kahf. Let's see, where is that wrong part? 'Did the disbelievers think that, leaving Me, they would take My servants as friends' — did they think so? What does it say? Look: 'The disbelievers, leaving Me, would take My servants as friends — did they think so?' 'We have prepared Hell as a lodging for the disbelievers.' Yet look, what does it say here now? 'Did the disbelievers think that, leaving Me, they would take My servants as friends?' The disbelievers. That is, as if the disbelievers don't leave Allah. That's what it comes to mean. Let's read it once more.

'Did the disbelievers think that, leaving Me, they would take My servants as friends?' it says. Whereas here it says: 'Do My servants think that, leaving Me, they can take the disbelievers as friends?' The complete opposite. Yes. Completely opposite. I'll read it once more. Look, pay attention. 'The disbelievers, leaving Me' — that is, as if the disbeliever were so with Allah — 'did the disbelievers, leaving Me, think they would take My servants as friends?' it says.

'We have prepared Hell as a lodging for the disbelievers,' it says this time. That is, a completely reversed statement. Whereas: 'Do My servants, leaving Me' — Allah's servants, leaving Allah — 'think they can take the disbelievers as friends?' Sir, Allah Almighty tells us: unless you make concessions to them, they will not be with you, He says. Yes. 'We have prepared Hell as a lodging for the disbelievers,' it says. Ah! How reversed it is translated here. Reversed.
