Explanation
The misinterpretation
Then his Lord chose him; accepted his repentance and guided him to the straight path.
The right translation
Then he found the right path and his Lord accepted his repentance. He got exalted (in the sight of his Lord).
Explanation
The wrong opening in this verse is this: Then his Lord distinguished him and accepted his repentance; Verily: Then he was guided; his Lord accepted his repentance. As they open the verses, they keep saying that our Lord is like the human mind, which is ignorant of the future, that people have no knowledge about people, so some of the actions of people are pleasing to people and they glorify them and give them treats. Then when a person misbehaves, he gets angry and fires him. Then when the person apologizes to the other person, the person is forgiven. This is exactly how they have opened the Verses, imagining our Lord in this way.
Hadrat Adam was deceived by Satan. He swore in the name of Allah and our father Adam, in the name of Allah, ate from that tree and his private parts were opened. Then when our father Adam realized that he had been deceived, he repented and asked forgiveness and was forgiven by our Lord. In fact, these events were a program written in advance. Because Paradise was forbidden to the unbelievers, it was not possible for them to enter Paradise. Within the program of our Lord, every human being was to come to the world and prove what kind of a person they were. That is why Satan was given the opportunity to enter Paradise.
Since every human being will be held accountable for what he has done, our father Adam then found the right path; his Lord accepted his repentance. He is glorified in the sight of His Lord.
What is said in the video
In the hundred and twenty-second verse, a verse that was translated wrongly, of Surah Ta-Ha. Then his Lord made him chosen, accepted his repentance and guided him to the right path. Whereas here: then he found the right path, his Lord accepted his repentance, he was exalted in the sight of his Lord. "Made him chosen," it says. What does it say? Then he found the right path. His Lord accepted his repentance. He was exalted in the sight of his Lord. What is wrong about it? "Then his Lord made him chosen." If He made him chosen, why did he sin? Why did he make some mistakes? And then, if He had made him chosen, He accepted his repentance and guided him (?), whereas then he found the right path. He found the right path.
His Lord accepted his repentance. That person understood his mistake. He was exalted in the sight of his Lord, it says. How beautiful. Always the deeds a person will do; anyway, when they translate these this way, people always tied it to Allah: Allah will do it to me anyway, whatever, and they do whatever (?) they like. If a person knew that by what he does he would be exalted, or that by what he does he would become a sinner, then so many people would not have gone astray like this.
