Explanation
The misinterpretation
Every living thing tastes death. We test you with good and evil as a trial. And you will only be returned to Us.
The right translation
All living beings will taste the death. You will be put to test with goodness and with calamities (so that you will prove your character to yourselves). And you will only return to Us.
Explanation
Here's where it goes wrong: As a test. Verily: (That you may bear witness to yourselves what kind of a person you are)
Our Lord does not need to test people. Because He made a covenant with people at Kalu Bela in the 172nd Verse of Surah A'raf. He has written their desires and wishes as their destiny. In this case, according to the verse that says that Our Lord knows the secrets of people's hearts, and according to another verse that says that there is not a single living creature that will come until the Day of Judgment that we do not know what it will do, Our Lord does not need to test people.
Allah (swt) created these worlds and placed people in this world of property, which is the lowest of the low, in order to witness for themselves what kind of character people have. In this case, people dictated the scripts of the covenants they made in the Hereafter. They pass on to the Hereafter by making themselves and those around them witness what kind of a person they are in this world. When we are held to account in the Court-i Kübra, when we are confronted with what we have done, when we have nothing left to say to our Lord, each soul will be sent to its rightful place with complete justice, having chosen our own places.
What is said in the video
Yes. Again, verse 35 of Surah Al-Anbiya was translated wrongly. Every living being will taste death. True, all living beings will taste death, your return is to Me, says Allah Almighty. "As a trial": now here they went astray. Allah does not try anything out. What He tests, what He will do, He has done; He created everything firmly and consciously set the end of everything in place with its rule. Now what does it say? Every living being will taste death. As a trial, We test you with good and with evil. Allah's testing: He did not know people, He does not know what kind of person someone is, and Allah Almighty will find out by testing him?
Well, let's put it this way now. He tested. A non-Muslim said at (?): if this was going to happen to me anyway, then it has happened. He accepted it. But he does not believe in Allah and His Messenger. He spoke not that way, but otherwise. Can Allah Almighty now say: he used good words, so he is a good person? That is what it comes to. Well, We test with evil, with evil (?). And you only will be returned to Us, it says. You will only be returned to Us, it says. Correct, but the translation is wrong. Look, here: every living being will taste death. So that you hold yourselves as witnesses to what kind of person you are; here the Arabic word has no exact equivalent in Turkish.
That is, you cannot render an Arabic word in Turkish so that it gives the same meaning. It doesn't fit. The letters, I mean, the meaning changes. What will you do? You will fit that word into it in parentheses so that it gives that meaning. Now: every living being will taste death. So that you hold yourselves as witnesses to what kind of person you are, you are put to the test with good He says you are tested with evil too. Allah Almighty says: We test you sometimes with your lives, sometimes with your wealth. Why? To prove to oneself what kind of person one is. And you will only be returned to Us, it says.
All souls will taste death. According to the clear word "your return is to Me" (?), these are all words that support each other. Pardon?
