Al-Hajj 25: Those who deny and try to prevent people from Allah’s path, and from Masjid al-Haram, which We have made for all people equal – for inhabitants (of its surroundings) and for those from far away. (They should know) whoever wants to make (people) go astray with oppression, We will make them taste a severe punishment.

The misinterpretation

Those who try to detain people from Haram (they should know that) whoever strays from the truth with such cruelty, We will make him taste a painful torment.

The right translation

Those who deny and try to prevent people from Allah’s path, and from Masjid al-Haram, which We have made for all people equal – for inhabitants (of its surroundings) and for those from far away. (They should know) whoever wants to make (people) go astray with oppression, We will make them taste a severe punishment.

Explanation

This is where this verse goes wrong: Whoever therein deviates from the truth with such injustice, We will make him taste a painful torment. The truth is: Whosoever therein oppresses and leads astray from the truth, We will make him taste of a painful torment. Here are the superstitions written by poor people who want to turn Islam into superstition by tampering with the Verses and making the Verses of our Lord contradict each other.

Our Lord says in His Verse that when you are persecuted at the cost of your life, deny with your tongue but do not deny with your heart. The meaning of this verse is not that they deviate from the truth, but that We will make those who seek to deviate from the truth taste a painful torment.

What is said in the video

even if it doesn't come, we are obliged to tell it, to explain it, and we will explain it. Verse 25 of Surah Al-Hajj has been translated wrongly. What does it say? Those who disbelieve, from Allah's path and from the Masjid al-Haram, which We made an equal qibla for all people, local or from the provinces — those who try to keep people away from it, let them know this: whoever there turns away from the Truth like this, through wrongdoing, him We make taste a painful punishment, it says. Whoever there? The correct version: those who disbelieve, on Allah's path, local or from the provinces — those who try to keep people from the Masjid al-Haram, which We made an equal qibla for all people — and here, what does it say?

Those who try to keep them away. The same. Let them know this well, yes, they know

that whoever there, through wrongdoing like this, wants to lead others away from the Truth — here, what does it say? Whoever there turns away from the Truth like this, through wrongdoing, it says. Through wrongdoing turns away from the Truth. That is, now, you went there, you came to the Kaaba, right? Will you say: did I come for these four walls? You'll turn away from the Truth. (?) What does it say? Let's read it once more. Let them know that whoever there turns away from the Truth through such wrongdoing, them well, him He makes taste a painful punishment, it says. Whereas the correct one: let them know well that whoever there through such wrongdoing wants to lead others away from the Truth.

Through wrongdoing. That is, when the Prophet was about to go to Mecca the Honoured, they blocked his way, right, let's say they went there — what did the non-Muslims do? 'Friend, you can't perform Hajj here.' 'Sir, the time for Hajj is already over.' 'Get out of here, go.' 'You can't come in here.' When they say that — this is what it refers to. What does it say?

This here already proves it. The mosque which We made an equal qibla for all people, it says. Equal. Those who try to keep people from the Masjid al-Haram — sir, let them know this well: whoever there through such wrongdoing wants to lead others away from the Truth, He makes him taste a painful punishment, it says. In the other one, what does it say? Let them know well that whoever there turns away from the Truth like this, through wrongdoing. Through wrongdoing one would turn away from the Truth? Hazrat Bilal the Abyssinian — how much they tormented him, sir, before the Kaaba and so on was even a place of worship, while still among the polytheists, he still said La ilahe illallah.

He did not deviate from the truth. In this way they have played with the words here, with the letters. To lead astray.

Those who deviate from the truth, those who want to lead away from the truth. These people have changed the places of these words. Wanting to lead others away from the Truth is one thing, turning away from the Truth is another. For those who lead others away from the Truth, it says, there is wrongdoing — pain and wrongdoing, it says. Yes.
