Al-Hajj 54: And also for those who were given knowledge to know that it (Qur’an) is certainly the Truth that came from their Lord and so they firmly believe in it and their hearts reach satisfaction. Verily, those who believe in Allah truly head towards the right path.

The misinterpretation

And so that those who have been given knowledge should know that it (the Quran) is a truth from the Lord, so that they may believe in it, so that their hearts may be at peace and contentment. Surely, Allah guides those who believe to a straight path.

The right translation

And also for those who were given knowledge to know that it (Qur’an) is certainly the Truth that came from their Lord and so they firmly believe in it and their hearts reach satisfaction. Verily, those who believe in Allah truly head towards the right path.

Explanation

This is where this verse goes wrong: Allah guides those who believe to a straight path. The truth is: Those who believe in Allah will certainly be guided to a straight path. If our Lord guides some of the people and leaves others to their own devices, our Lord will be characterized by injustice among His servants. Also, his covenant with people is just a show and has no value.

Those who believe in Allah are certainly on a straight path. Because our Lord always shows people the truth and speaks the truth. In fact, He says in the verse (I always speak the truth).

What is said in the video

It is cancelled and gone.

In verse 54 of Surah Al-Hajj there's a mistake too. Once one mistake has started, right? (?) mistakes come one after another to support each other. By translating the verses wrongly, they never shy away from attributing qualities to Allah Almighty. And on top of that they come forward as scholars. 'We did a doctorate,' he says. 'We know Arabic,' he says. He doesn't hold back from attributing qualities to Allah either. He falls into a sin bigger than himself, too. What does it say? In verse 54 of Surah Al-Hajj: and so that those who were given knowledge know that it, that is, the Quran, has truly come from your Lord as a truth, and believe in it.

So that thereby their hearts attain peace and contentment. Surely Allah definitely directs those who believe to a straight path, it says, He turns them.

Where is the mistake here? Beautifully said.

Allah does not lead any believer, any Muslim, to the right path — definitely not. Allah sent the Quran to the worlds; whoever believes it, within the Quran's ruling, leads himself to the straight path. Because of partial free will.

A person will be called to account for what he did, for his actual deeds. If Allah is going to lead the believers to the straight path, then why? He also sends those who go as Muslims to Hell. One who went as a Muslim but with many sins — He sends him to Hell. Well, he's a person who believed. Well now, doesn't this contradict this verse? It contradicts it. Yet none of Allah's words contradicts another in any way. They all confirm one another. Tell me a verse — (?) Confirming. All the verses. Yes.

What do we say? And so that those who were given knowledge, that it, that is, the Quran, has truly come from your Lord as a truth — that they know this and believe in it. So that thereby their hearts attain peace and contentment. Now, when Allah Almighty, to the human heart, the verses' meanings are told, when all the verses confirm each other — these are, of the inspiration Allah gave man, its mercy upon that person. In that case, without declaring any of the Quran verses he has learned false against another, all confirming each other, the person with a broad horizon remains at peace. Satan's temptation doesn't easily work on his heart.

Now, what do we say here anyway? Let them know that the Quran has truly come from your Lord as a truth, and believe in it. Because all the verses confirm one another, and none having any mistake in it, none of them contradicting another, (?). This is Allah's word, we say. Even when Allah's word, confirming itself, appears — comparing it with the other books, when the other books' verses also appear in the Quran, what do they do? They fall down in prostration. Yes.

So that thereby their hearts attain peace and contentment. Surely those who believe in Allah have definitely turned to a straight path. How beautiful. There is no god but Allah. The seven heavens and what is between them. This whole universe, the seen and the unseen, the tangible and the intangible, all created things. From the atom to the globe, everything is Allah's creation. There is no god but Allah, and we are His servants. In that case, with this faith, those who long for Allah, with hearts at peace, await the day they will meet Allah with longing. Yes, in that case, 'He definitely turns them to a straight path' — no. Allah doesn't turn them.

The person turns himself. Why? Onto the path Allah has shown us, a person, by his own will, either enters, or rebels and doesn't enter. If Allah leads the believers to a straight path — the others here who don't believe weren't created by some other god either. They too are servants Allah created. Why did Allah Almighty lead the believers to the right path and, sir, set apart those who didn't? What does it say here? Allah definitely turns those who believe to a right path. Those who believe. They are Your servants too. Let them believe too. He leads them to the right path too. Right? Now here there's a distinction.

Whereas man made the distinction himself. Man divided himself into three groups.

When He said 'I am your Lord', the people of the right, the people of the left, and the class of those brought near came into being. The class of those brought near: the saints, the prophets, the martyrs, the witnesses group. The people of the right are those who believe; the people of the left, those who rebel against Allah, who don't recognise Him.

Now, when his words here say 'He definitely turns them to a straight path', that means: whom He wills to Paradise, whom He wills to Hell. They go on with words confirming one another. They go on with their mistakes, their superstitions, confirming each other. Yet all of it is contrary to the Truth. Contrary to the straight path. Contrary to Allah's law, to His rule. Yes.
