The right translation
Vow to that; We have sent down for you verses that clearly explain (what you don’t know). Allah shows the straight path to those who desire (from Allah).
Explanation
This is where this verse goes wrong: Allah guides whom He wills.
Continuing with the same mistake, they opened the verses and continued to accuse our Lord of injustice among His servants by characterizing Him with imperfect attributes.
Our Lord does not guide anyone to the right path and change their destiny. This is because according to the verse, "Unless We will, you cannot will". Each and every human being has made a covenant with our Lord. Each person's desire and will is written as his or her destiny. In this case, our Lord says that if anyone can change destiny, it is me. But there is a promise from me and that is heaven and hell. Also, in another verse, when He says that there is a book in Our sight that is preserved in the Levh-i Mahfuz, and that no addition or omission will be made to it afterwards, since Our Lord will not change what is written, people cannot change their destiny, and when they made a covenant with Our Lord in the address of Elestu bi Rabbikum, whatever they requested from Our Lord when they made a covenant with Our Lord, their requests were given to them in full and their destiny was written.
Every human being is sent to the world to prove what kind of a person he is. Did you think that you would die without proving what kind of a person you are? According to the verse, when we make a covenant with our Lord, when we go to the hereafter having proved to our Lord what kind of a person we are by putting our desires and wishes into action in the world, in the Court of Judgment, no human being will be sent to their rightful place without being wronged by the decision of our Lord.
What is said in the video
Verse 46 of Surah An-Nur has also been rendered wrongly. Indeed, We have sent down verses that make clear to you what you did not know. Allah guides whom He wills to the right path, it says. Always: He guides whom He wills to the right path, He saves whom He wills. I too am His servant; save me too, guide me too to the right path. Allah sent us prophets and books. What does He say? Follow this. Look, He leaves us free in our will. Follow this, follow the prophet, follow the books, follow the saints, follow the scholars, follow what they tell you and attain salvation. You may commit errors; repent.
And We will forgive you, He says. Because Allah is great. Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
But don't do it knowingly. Even if you do it, knowingly following your ego, so as not to do it again, Allah Almighty, repent to Allah Almighty. What does it say here? Allah shows the right path to whoever among you wills it. Isn't that so? He sent the Holy Quran to the Prophet. He sent it to the worlds. Together with His messenger. If I will, I follow it. If I don't, I turn my back and leave like a non-Muslim, Allah forbid. I go as a disbeliever. So where here is Allah's willing over me? I'm asking you now.
Yes. But those outward hodjas, you know.
Those who think they know a lot, who think themselves scholars, you know. They both accept our talking this way, saying the man speaks the truth, and also say this man talks superstition. Because, to scatter his own knowledge, the superstition, over the (?), he never comes near the truth. These too bear the sin. Like whom? Though if they die as Muslims... Like Abraham breaking the idols, let me tell you, and putting the axe beside the big idol. Yes, you, he says, ask this idol, he says, who broke them, he says. There the idol-worshippers say: how would this know? How could it speak and tell? Well, then why do you worship it, he says.
They come to their senses. In His verse, Allah Almighty says they speak the truth in their conscience. They speak the truth, but because they don't give up what they know, it says, Abraham (peace be upon him) they punish, to throw him into the fire. Yes. So, because they don't know this origin, people, and those people we call scholars too, because they don't know this origin, learned it this way and go on this way. But when they see the truth, while they ought to come to what is right, the one who comes rolls up his sleeves, and the one who doesn't, despite Allah Almighty making it heard, still clings to superstitions.
But they'll say to me: this too, sir, such superstitions, it's superstition, they'll say; so those who turn their backs on the Truth, in the hereafter, cannot escape Allah's punishment.
Yes.
