Al-Qasas 50: If they cannot answer you, know that they only follow their evil desires. Who has gone more astray than the one who follows his own desires without having a guide from Allah? Verily, a nation of oppressors cannot find Allah’s guidance (as long as they are on that path).

The misinterpretation

If they cannot answer you, know that they are only following their whims. Who can be more astray than he who follows his own whims without guidance from Allah! Of course, Allah does not guide the cruel people to the right path.

The right translation

If they cannot answer you, know that they only follow their evil desires. Who has gone more astray than the one who follows his own desires without having a guide from Allah? Verily, a nation of oppressors cannot find Allah’s guidance (as long as they are on that path).

Explanation

This is where this verse goes wrong: Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. The truth is: Surely the wrong-doing people (as long as they remain in that state) cannot find the right path of Allah.

Our Lord will not deprive any person who comes to Him of His guidance. Because our Lord is Tawwab, the One who accepts repentance. When people come to the life of this world, when the soul of a Muslim is sent to a kufr country and the soul of a kufr is sent to a Muslim country, and they want to change their religion with their desires and wishes, when this person who made his covenant as a Muslim before, when he sees the truth in the kufr country and wants to return to the truth, when he wants to bring the word shahada, our Lord will say, "No, I do not accept you, you come from an oppressive tribe?". Our Lord accepts repentance until the end of life. Therefore, the truth of the verse is: Surely the wrong-doing people (as long as they remain in that state) cannot find the right path of Allah.

What is said in the video

Having evaluated it this way. Well, let us look at Surah Al-Qasas. In its verse 50 there is a mistake. What does it say? If they do not answer you, know that they now follow their desires. Who could be more astray than one who follows his own desire without a guide from Allah? Surely Allah does not lead the wrongdoing people to the right path, it says. Yes.

Here, all of it to the end is correct. Right now one word is wrong. Yes. What does it say? Let's read the correct version. If they do not answer you, know that they merely follow their desires. Correct. They too know what is right. But their carnal feelings outweigh it. And since the nafs will not do anything Allah Almighty wants, those under the rule of their nafs keep quiet because they know it is right. Without a guide other than Allah. Who is there, other than Allah, to show the way? Without showing the way. Than those who follow their own desire, that is, those who by their own desire choose their own way themselves, who choose a way outside Allah, outside His command.

Of course. Allah says don't gamble, you gamble; don't commit adultery, you do. Well, Muhammad came as a mercy to the worlds. He is the Seal of the Prophets. You say: I don't accept that. You say that Allah, well, (?) is three. You say Ezra is the son of Allah. Those who find a way by their own mind like this. Yes. Who could be more astray than one who follows his own desire, it says. Correct. Surely the wrongdoing peoples, the wrongdoing peoples — now we are setting the right version, this part, straight. As long as they remain in that state, as long as they remain in that state, they cannot find Allah's right path.

What does it say here?

Surely Allah does not lead the wrongdoing people to the right path, it says. Well, among the wrongdoing peoples, is there no one who becomes Muslim? Who are the wrongdoing peoples? People outside Islam. All of them are wrongdoers. Why wrongdoers? Well, if they weren't wrongdoers, they wouldn't stay in Hell forever. Because they deny Allah, they are wrongdoers to begin with. Although Allah Almighty is the Self-Subsisting in His essence, those who say Allah is three are wrongdoers. the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, whom He sent as a mercy to the worlds, as a prophet, then this one too is a wrongdoer.

Allah sends the Holy Quran as a mercy to the worlds, holds a light before him, shows him the way, and yet he does not accept the Quran. If he chooses his own way by his own mind, he too is a wrongdoer. What are these? Destined for Hell forever. But among them, is there no one who turns and becomes Muslim? There is. Look, this is the point. What does it say? Allah does not lead the wrongdoing people to the right path. Well, since among them there are those who will take the right path, we say: as long as they remain in that state, they cannot find Allah's right path. Yes. What does it say here? Allah does not lead the wrongdoing people to the right path, it says.

Allah leads no one, neither as a Muslim nor as a wrongdoer does He lead. Man is free from birth; his will is in his own hands, and by his own will he chooses his own way, and for the deeds he has done by his own will he is called to account. In this case, Allah Almighty, in this case, Allah Almighty leads no one. But to give life to His creatures — Allah never accepts wrongdoing. He is the possessor of justice anyway. Since He created them, He will show them the way. Here, He says, is a prophet; here, He says, is a book; now the will is yours, He says. Yes. But Allah, to people, shows the way by way of (?) guidance.

In the first verse of Surah Ibrahim: they were in darkness. We, He says, sent them books and prophets to give light before them, He says. So, while we are in these darknesses, if by our own will, with the (?) of the prophets or of the books sent to them, we (?), we will have turned to the truth. It is not that Allah led us there. We turned by our own will. To whom? To the Creator of the worlds. So what did the wrongdoers do? They turned their backs on Allah who created them. Although He sent books and prophets to bring them out of the darkness into the light, into brightness, although He sent books and prophets so that they would be guided, they did not believe; carried away by their carnal desires, they chose their own ways themselves. Who is more of a wrongdoer than those who leave the path Allah has shown, it says. We went over that verse a little earlier.

Yes.
