The misinterpretation

But the unjust have followed their evil desires without knowledge. Who can guide those whom Allah has led astray? There is no helper for them.

The right translation

However the unjust wrong-doers have ignorantly followed their lust. Who can guide those who go astray from Allah? There are no helpers for them.

Explanation

This is where this verse goes wrong. Who can guide those whom Allah has led astray? That is the truth: Who can guide those who deviate from Allah?

Allah does not lead anyone astray. Because our Lord put the will of the people in their own hands and made a covenant with them at Kalu Bela. In this case, He has written everyone's will as his destiny. Our Lord will never again use His will among people to lead them astray or guide them to the right path. Allah makes people understand the truth through His Books and Prophets and brings the worlds out of darkness into light. In this case, since people are unaware of the fact that people have made a covenant with our Lord and that every person's desire and will is destined for him, they have opened the verses accusing our Lord of discriminating between people. The truth of the verse is as we wrote above, who can guide those who deviate from Allah? Since all the will is in man, according to the covenant he has made in his destiny, he will either live in disbelief, away from the mercy of our Lord, or he will be a servant of our Lord and finally reach the mercy of our Lord. All human beings are responsible to our Lord of their own free will.

What is said in the video

These two verses too — let's open them up and finish our lesson.

We read the wrong version. But see, those who do wrong ignorantly followed their evil desires.

Who can bring to the right path one whom Allah has led astray? Allah led man astray, look. Can such a thing be? How do they throw this slander at Allah? Whom would Allah lead astray? That man — Allah made the will twofold. Two: universal will, partial will. If Allah Almighty removed the partial will from that person and used His own will on that person, if He led him astray, how would that be? It would mean giving the will (?). Then it would be His own willing. And the will He'd be giving us just for show.

Yes. Allah Almighty, free of all deficiencies, gives you the will so that, by your own will, your own wishes and desires, your own aim, for a deed you will do you yourself are responsible, He says. I show you the paths of truth. Use your will, He says. Use your mind, He says to you. That's why: don't you ever use your mind? Do you not think at all, He says. How beautifully He says it. With verses. Yes. How can you ascribe such a flaw to Allah?

Whom Allah leads astray — who can (?) lead to the right path. For them there is no helper either. And the right version: but see, those who do wrong ignorantly followed their evil followed. Those led astray from Allah those who stray — who can bring to the right path those who stray from Allah? For them there is no helper. Those who stray, those who have strayed from Allah.
