Luqman 12: Vow to that; because of his gratitude towards Allah, We bestowed wisdom to Luqman (Lokman). Those who are grateful are grateful for themselves. And those who are ungrateful should know that Allah is Ghaniyy (Bounteous, free of all needs), and Hameed (worthy of being praised).

The misinterpretation
Let us give thanks to Luqman! We gave wisdom. He who is grateful is only grateful for himself. And those who are ungrateful should know that Allah is not in need of anything. He was worthy of all praise.
The right translation
Vow to that; because of his gratitude towards Allah, We bestowed wisdom to Luqman (Lokman). Those who are grateful are grateful for themselves. And those who are ungrateful should know that Allah is Ghaniyy (Bounteous, free of all needs), and Hameed (worthy of being praised).
Explanation
This is the wrong place in this verse: 12- And certainly We gave wisdom to Lokman, saying, "Give thanks to Allah." Verily: And We gave wisdom to Luqman because he was grateful to Allah.
If we pay attention to the wrong places in all the Verses, it is not because of people's feelings or obedience to our Lord, but because our Lord chooses this or that on His own will, rewarding them or condemning them to hell. This is where they obscure the essence of the verses that have been opened incorrectly, and by making the verses contradict each other, they not only get themselves into dead ends, but they also characterize our Lord as treating people as He wishes, regardless of what people do, regardless of what our Lord does. However, our Lord has tied it to the 172nd verse of Surah A'râf. He sent people into the world to make them witness themselves and their surroundings to see what kind of people they are and to be held accountable for what they have done. In this respect, if we are sent to this world to prove what kind of a human being we are, our Lord does not say that We gave wisdom to Lokman by saying, 'Thank Allah! If every human being is to be held to account for what he has done, then it is true that We gave wisdom to Lokman because he was grateful to Allah. This is how our Lord rewards people for what every human being has done.
What is said in the video
We explained only these correct ones. We explained only the correct ones, didn't we? Yes.
We have come to Surah Luqman. To Surah Luqman. In verse 12 there is a mistake. By oath, We gave Luqman wisdom, saying: give thanks to Allah.
What is wisdom, wisdom?
Do you know wisdom?
Alright, and the knowledge of ladun. Do you know what the knowledge of ladun is?
Yes, you said it well. One has to know its origin.
Luqman the Physician found immortality. How did he find it?
He gave him a knowledge. What knowledge? The knowledge of speaking with His creatures. The knowledge of speaking with plants. I am a cure for this ailment, a cure for that ailment, a cure for this ailment. That is wisdom. Knowing how each thing is. That is also the knowledge of ladun. When Khidr (peace be upon him) holed the ship, why he holed it he knew. Because Allah Almighty informs him. When he killed the boy, he knew as well. He knew there was gold under the wall, too. And he explains this to him, to Moses. That is wisdom. That is the knowledge of ladun. So what does it say? By oath, We gave Luqman wisdom, saying: give thanks to Allah.
Of course, wouldn't a person give thanks for so much knowledge, for that wisdom? Whoever gives thanks gives thanks only for himself. Allah has no need of you. If you are grateful, the verse says this. Would We ever diminish the wealth of one who gives thanks, He says. It says it well. Whoever is ungrateful should know that Allah is in need of nothing. He is worthy of all praise. Now where is the mistake here? By oath, because he gave thanks to Allah, We gave Luqman wisdom. What does it say here? By oath, We gave Luqman wisdom so that he give thanks to Allah. Now there is a difference here between this and that.
Listen. By oath, because he gave thanks to Allah, We gave Luqman wisdom, it says. What does it say here? By oath, We gave Luqman, saying give thanks to Allah, saying give thanks to Allah, We gave wisdom, it says. Now can you tell me the difference between the two? Let me tell you. In the first, Hazrat Luqman is chosen by Allah Almighty Himself. You give thanks to Me, I will give you wisdom.
Isn't that so? Look what it says: We gave Luqman, saying give thanks to Allah, wisdom; I'm taking Ahmet and Mehmet as examples, no offense in the comparison; Allah, Allah Almighty, to one of His servants: if you give thanks to Me I will give you wisdom, He says. But in the correct one what happens? Because he gave thanks to Allah We gave Luqman wisdom. The will was in man's own hands, right? Because it was in his own hands Allah Almighty gives someone wisdom. He gives wisdom to the one close to Allah. And Allah knows the secrets of hearts. He knows who is close to Him.
After that, the rest is correct. Whoever gives thanks gives thanks only for himself. Look, that's what it says anyway. What does it say? Whoever gives thanks gives thanks only for himself. So: by oath, because he gave thanks to Allah, We gave Luqman wisdom, it says. Is that the correct one now? Now here too there are contradicting writings. By oath, We gave Luqman wisdom so that he give thanks to Allah. Whoever gives thanks gives thanks only for himself. There is a clarity here now. Isn't there? In one, Allah Almighty: you come, I'll — you give thanks to Me, I will give you wisdom; but to you too: if you give thanks, you give thanks for yourselves.
On the other side, He says to the person who gives thanks: because you gave thanks, I will give you wisdom, He says; that is, the chosen ones, that is, those with more faith in Allah, with faith; yes
