The misinterpretation

Those who have been given knowledge and faith say: You have certainly remained as long as the day written in the Book of Allah. Today is the day of resurrection. But you do not know Him.

The right translation

And those who possess knowledge and those who have faith will say, “verily, you have stayed for the amount of days that is written in Allah’s Book. Today, is the Day of Resurrection, but some of you don’t know”

Explanation

This is where this verse goes wrong: Those who have been given knowledge and faith say. Verily: The people of knowledge and faith say.

When they open the verses, they always open them by attributing our Lord. The reason for this is that they do not understand Sûrah A'râf, they do not know that our Lord has made a covenant with human beings, they are unaware of the meaning of the 172nd verse of the same sûrah, namely Sûrah A'râf, so they open the verses based on this part incorrectly, and they make our Lord discriminate between His servants and undermine His justice. The strangest part of it is that people are not mentioned at all and they attribute everything to our Lord and bring it upon people. In this case, the covenant of people with our Lord is not explained, and in turn our Lord is accused of discriminating between His servants, and the meaning of the covenant is lost.

If every human being's good deed and sin will be written down in a miskal particle of evil and a miskal particle of good, our Lord does not say those who are given faith and knowledge. It means those who have faith and knowledge, that is, those whose faith is strong by making a good covenant with our Lord when they make a covenant with our Lord.

What is said in the video

In verse 56 of Surah Ar-Rum there are also mistakes. Those given knowledge and faith will say this: By oath, you stayed as long as the day written in Allah's Book. Correct. Everyone has a lifespan. That lifespan is written in Allah's Book.

From our father Adam until the Day of Judgment, is it written for those to come? Yes. At one time two people, to me I won't tell their ranks. I had told it before anyway.

They called me and said, I was on duty at that time, we'll ask you a question, they said. Ask, he said.

In the Quran, they say, there is everything, all sciences, they say, he says. Yes. I added to it too. Whatever is wet and dry is in the Quran, I said. Wet and dry. Then, he said, in a professional field a doctoral book, he said, volumes full, eight (?) pages, thousands of pages, a physics book likewise, a chemistry book likewise; are all of these written in the Quran, he said.

I said to them: look, Allah's word rests upon letters. What one letter, alif, means, we cannot know, I said. This, I said, opens up meaning upon meaning. These, I said, the letters gather and form a verse, I said. In that verse there are maybe 70, 80, 90 letters. These letters carry separate meanings, I said. In the combination of these letters it only shows us a way, I said. And when these are opened, I reminded them of the hadith of the Messenger of Allah. For my shortcoming I would repent some seventy times. Shortcoming compared to what? When he received the meaning of the sixtieth verse, the sixty-first, compared to the fifty-ninth, incomplete and flawed. When it takes the seventieth verse, compared to the sixty-ninth it is incomplete and flawed.

Even in years, I said, we can't find the full meaning of a single one, I said. Well, he said, who, he said, you, he said, do you think you've convinced us with what you said, he said. I won't convince you either, I said. I have a couple of words for you, I said. If you don't believe what I'm saying, I said, a person says this, I said. If a person doesn't believe the Quran and the hadith, don't answer him at all, don't talk, end it, I used to say. Well, so long to me. I left and went. Are you going to wear out your jaw? Yes. What does it say here? Those who give knowledge and faith will say this.

Actually this is wrong too; if it said those who possess faith and knowledge, well, according to their circumstances, this place needs to be opened with a beautiful meaning. So it's not right for us to just gloss over it like this. That's why we used to tell the Diyanet: let us come too, and together with your Arabic let's explain these more beautifully, in more detail, he was saying. Sir, by oath, you stayed as long as the day written in Allah's Book. Of course, how long each of us will live is determined. That's why Allah Almighty says: when your day (?) is full, not an hour ahead nor an hour behind does it fall, He says.

This is the Day of Resurrection. But you do not recognize it, it says. Now here there is a mistake. You do not recognize it, it says. Here, those with knowledge and faith will say this: By oath, you stayed as long as the day written in Allah's Book. This is the Day of Resurrection. At the end of it: but you cannot recognize it. Now here when it says 'you do not recognize', it applies it encompasses. To everyone. You don't recognize. It accuses all of you. When it says 'you cannot recognize', there is a softness here. Some of them cannot recognize it. Because there are those among them who accept Islam.

What does it say from the beginning? Those with knowledge and faith said this: By oath, you stayed as long as the day written in Allah's Book. Where does He say this? In the hereafter. This is the Day of Resurrection. They are resurrected. But you do not recognize it. Now in which verse does Allah Almighty support this: they are in this world blind and sightless, in the hereafter too they are blind and sightless; in this world deaf and blind, in the hereafter too deaf and blind; in the verse, the continuation of this verse; but this place needs to be explained even better, one should sit and explain it nicely.

We took this much of it here. You'll take notes of these too. Those parts, nicely. But that thing, but let's not say 'you', but: some of you cannot recognize it. Yes. That is the meaning too. But some of you cannot recognize it.

And the meaning of this is: they are deaf and blind in this world. In the hereafter too they are deaf and blind. Blind and sightless. And those who truly hear the truth, in the hereafter too will see Allah before them. They don't see. Why don't they see? There is a veil before them. They don't believe. Now here I see Elçin. I see Çağlasan. But because I know he is Çağlasan, I say Çağlasan is before me. Well, if I didn't believe Çağlasan is Çağlasan, if I said that isn't Çağlasan, would I have seen him? I'm blind to him. Likewise, they don't believe despite seeing their Creator. They wait for the Lord of their own imagination.

So they are blind and sightless. Blind and deaf. Though they see and hear the truth, they don't want to understand.
