Saba 19: Then, they said, “Oh our Lord! Widen the distance between our commutes (between the towns)” and they committed oppression against themselves. And thus, they became exemplary stories and became completely torn apart. Verily, in this, there are lessons for all those who are patient and who are grateful.

The misinterpretation
Upon this; O our Lord! Distance between the cities we travel through, they said, and they were wronged. So We turned them into exemplary parables and completely dismembered them. Surely, there are lessons in this for everyone who is patient and grateful.
The right translation
Then, they said, “Oh our Lord! Widen the distance between our commutes (between the towns)” and they committed oppression against themselves. And thus, they became exemplary stories and became completely torn apart. Verily, in this, there are lessons for all those who are patient and who are grateful.
Explanation
This is the wrong place in this verse. We tore them to pieces. Indeed: They were utterly shattered.
If our Lord judges between people, He judges them for what they have done. Otherwise, our Lord does not judge between people on His own. Here, too, they asked our Lord to separate the cities. Does it mean that our Lord, in granting their request, divided the people completely? It is true: The people were completely divided. In this case, they competed to put all the blame on our Lord. The correct meaning of the verse is as we have explained above.
What is said in the video
In verse 19 of Surah Saba there is a mistake.
Thereupon, in verse 19: "Thereupon: O our Lord, lengthen the distance between the cities we travel between," it says. Between Damascus and Mecca there was a stretch of two or three stages, it seems. Allah Almighty had brought them close then. These people stir up discord among themselves. And they say to Allah Almighty, put distance between us. So this is how it comes to today's state.
"And they wronged themselves. So We made them tales of warning. And We tore them completely apart. Surely in this there are lessons for everyone who is very patient and very grateful," it says. Now here, here, the meaning in this verse, will you be able to work it out? Look, what does it say? "Thereupon: O our Lord, lengthen the distance between the cities we travel between, they said, and they wronged themselves. So We made them tales of warning and We tore them completely apart. Surely in this there are lessons for everyone who is very patient and very grateful." Here the wrong part (?). They got themselves torn apart.
Mashallah, look, do you see? Yes, they got themselves torn apart. When they said separate us, when He separated them. Now if you said, slap me, me, and I slapped you, did I slap you, or did you make me slap you? Yes, we are reading the correct one: "Thereupon: O our Lord, lengthen the distance between the cities we travel between, they said. And they wronged themselves. So they became tales of warning and they were torn completely apart. They were torn completely apart. Surely in this, for everyone who is very patient and very grateful, there are lessons."
