The misinterpretation

We have made it (the oleander) a trial for the wrongdoers.

The right translation

Verily, We have made it (the tree of Oleander) a hardship for the oppressors.

Explanation

This Verse has also been misinterpreted from the beginning. They say as follows: We have made it a trial for the wrongdoers. Is there life and life in oleander that it should be considered a trial for mankind? Oleander is a tree that will be in Hell in the Hereafter. When the inhabitants of Hell eat it, their intestines will be like being cut with a knife. It is bitter and its fruit is lumpy like the devil's head. When the people of Hell, the oppressors, eat it, it will be a torment and oppression for them. They will feel hot and thirsty and they will drink boiling water, very hot water. This will continue and will be a torment for the people of Hell.

What is said in the video

In verse 63 there is a mistake. We made it, the zaqqum; zaqqum is, in the middle of Hell, a plant that grows, its fruit is lumpy and gnarled. People, the people of Hell, will eat from it there whenever they get hungry. It is bitter, it says. And its fruit is gnarled like the heads of devils, says Allah Almighty. I'm telling you the verses here, all of it; everything I say is verses. As they eat from this fruit, their heat will rise. As their heat rises they will drink scalding water, it says. And this fruit will leave people's bowels as if cut to pieces, it says. And there is also writhing from the heat.

May Allah protect us. "We made it, the zaqqum, a fitna, a trial, for the wrongdoers," it says. Once more: We made it a trial. Whereas: no doubt We made it, the zaqqum, a suffering, a torment, for the wrongdoers, it says. Not a trial, We made it a torment. Here, a trial. What is its trial? How will zaqqum test a person?

Astonishing. However they render these, like this.

Let's read the wrong one once more. Look: "We made it, the zaqqum, a fitna, a trial, for the wrongdoers," it says. Whereas: no doubt We made it, the zaqqum, a suffering, that is a torment, for the wrongdoers, it says. A torment.

Yes.
