Explanation
The misinterpretation
Take a bunch of straw in your hand and strike with it, fulfill your oath like this. Indeed, we found Job to be patient (a servant). What a good servant he was, he always turned to Allah.
The right translation
Take a bunch of straws and hit with it, and fulfill your oath as such. Verily, Job was patient. How beautiful a servant was he, used to always turn towards Allah.
Explanation
This is the wrong place in this verse: We found Ayyub patient. Verily: Indeed Ayyub was a patient (servant).
Our Lord made a covenant with people at Kalu Bela. He wrote everyone's desires and wishes as his destiny. In this case, according to our Lord's verse, "There is not a single living creature that will come until the Day of Judgment that we do not know what it will do", can this verse be opened like this by saying that I found him a patient servant, not knowing what kind of a servant Hazrat Ayyub was? Ignorant of the Verses of our Lord, they are attributing to our Lord the decision he made about Hazrat Ayyub by generalizing the situation of Ayyub in his mind.
The truth of the verse is as we have explained above: Indeed Ayyub was a patient (servant) and our Lord showed the patience of Hazrat Ayyub as an example to people.
What is said in the video
There is a mistake in the verse; not in 45, there is a mistake in 46, they have rendered it — let's see, what does it say? Take a bunch of stalks in your hand and strike with it. He says this about Job (peace be upon him). His wife — they are now about to perish from hunger. She goes to the baker to get bread, to get bread on credit. Then the baker says: if you show me a strand of your hair, I'll give you bread, he says. Out of necessity, she shows a strand of her hair. She takes the bread and comes home. Job (peace be upon him): Where did you get it? From the baker. How did you get it? He told me such and such, so I showed a strand of my hair.
He says: if I get up from here, I'll give you forty blows with a stick, he says, 100 blows, I'll give you 100 blows, he says. Then, when he recovered, to Adam — to Job (peace be upon him): take 100 ears of grain, He says; he made 100 ears into one bunch and struck once with it. The Sovereign abundant in mercy. Yes. Take in your hand a bunch of stalks and strike with it, and thus fulfill your oath. Truly, We found Job a patient servant. How excellent a servant he was. He always turned to Allah. Yes. Take a bunch of stalks in your hand and strike with it, fulfil your oath like this your oath.
Truly, Job was a patient servant. How excellent a servant he was; he always turned to Allah.
We probably wrote this part the same here. Strike with it.
Yes. Thus fulfill your oath. Thus fulfill your oath. Truly, Job was a patient servant.
What does it say here? The mistakes here are at this point. Job, a patient servant. 'We found Job a patient servant,' it says. As if Job turns up by chance. He didn't create him, He doesn't know what he is. 'We found him a patient servant,' it says. Whereas 'how excellent a servant he was,' it says. How excellent a servant he was. That is, what a fine covenant he had given.
But 'he always turned to Allah,' it says. He always turned to Allah. Yes.
