Ghafir 34: Vow to that; before (Moses) Joseph had also brought to you clear proofs, and you were also in suspicion over the things he brought. When he passed away, you said “Allah won’t send any other Messenger after him”. This is how skeptical transgressors go astray from Allah.

The misinterpretation

Surely Yusuf brought you clear proofs before (Moses) and you doubted what he brought to you. Finally, you said that when he died, Allah would not send a prophet after him. This is how Allah misleads the skeptics who go to extremes.

The right translation

Vow to that; before (Moses) Joseph had also brought to you clear proofs, and you were also in suspicion over the things he brought. When he passed away, you said “Allah won’t send any other Messenger after him”. This is how skeptical transgressors go astray from Allah.

Explanation

This is the wrong opening here: This is how Allah leads astray those who doubt. The truth is: This is how those who go astray from Allah.

They have made the same mistake here as before, and we are putting the same footnote here. The wrong opening in this verse is this: "This is how Allah leads astray those who doubt." Correctly: "This is how those doubters who go astray go astray from Allah." Our Lord does not lead anyone astray by exercising His will over people in this world. Our Lord invites all of His servants to Him. He sent the Holy Quran as a mercy to the worlds.

When our Lord and mankind made a covenant at Kalu Bela, they dictated their destiny to themselves. In this case, those who deny our Lord at Kalu Bela will of course continue to deny Him in the worldly realm. Because his desires and wishes have become his destiny and he has been given characters to live out this destiny in return for his desires and wishes.

When people come to this world, with these characters, they desire and wish to do things, and our Lord creates reasons for them, and they receive rewards or sins for their deeds. So in this worldly life, our Lord never interferes in what people do, but people prove what kind of a person they are by what they do.

What is said in the video

Amen, O my Lord, amen.

Amen. Verse 34. We are reading the wrongly rendered one. Ghafir. Surah Al-Mu'min. Yes.

Indeed, before Moses, Joseph also brought you clear proofs. Yes. About what he brought you, you kept on doubting. About Prophet Joseph. Finally, when he died, you said, Allah will not send after him Allah will not send a prophet, you said. They speak by their own reasoning, of course. Thus Thus Allah leads astray those excessive doubters, it says. Allah leads no one astray; everyone went astray himself. Where? at the address 'Am I not your Lord?' He strayed in return for the covenant he had given to Allah Almighty. Otherwise, Allah led no one astray. Everyone had his own destiny written according to his wish and desire.

Yes. We are reading the correct one. Indeed, before Moses, Joseph also brought you clear proofs. And you kept on doubting about the things he came to you with. You kept on doubting about what he brought. Finally, when he died. What does it say here? When he died, it says, probably. Kept on doubting about him. Finally, when he died, Allah will not send a prophet after him, you said. Thus the excessive doubters stray from Allah in this way. The excessive doubters. What does the old one say here? Those excessive doubters, skeptics, thus Allah leads them astray, it says. As I said, Allah leads no one astray.

Because a person would then say: if You had not led me astray, I would have turned back in the end. That's why no one can blame Allah Almighty. Yes.
