Explanation
The misinterpretation
Those who argue about the Signs of Allah, despite the absence of any evidence that has come to them, are met with great hatred in the eyes of Allah and the believers. This is how God seals the heart of every arrogant tyrant.
The right translation
Those who dispute Allah’s verses, even without any proof, are detested by Allah and by the believers. Thus, all the arrogant and unjust make their hearts sealed by Allah against the Truth.
Explanation
The wrong opening is here: This is how Allah seals the heart of every arrogant tyrant. The truth is: Every arrogant tyrant has his heart thus sealed by Allah.
Our Lord does not seal anyone's heart. However, every person who has made a covenant with our Lord at Kalu Bela will have his heart sealed by our Lord when he denies our Lord. Our Lord says in His Verse that they are false disbelievers. This means that even though they knew that there was a Lord who created them, and even though our Lord told them that I am your Lord, I created you, they continued to deny, even though the Lord they expected in their imagination did not appear. He says in the verse: "My Messenger, do not be saddened by what they say, for they disbelieved in me before.
So if every man's own desire has become his destiny, our Lord will not seal anyone's heart. By their own disbelief, people who betray our Lord have their own hearts sealed.
What is said in the video
We are coming to verse 35. This too has been rendered wrongly. A verse. We are reading the wrong version.
Ghafir, that is, Surah Al-Mu'min, verse 35. Those who, with no proof having come to them, dispute about Allah's verses are met, both in Allah's sight and in the sight of the believers, with great hatred. Thus Allah seals the heart of every arrogant tyrant, it says. To people, there is nothing wrong here. First let us explain where its mistake is. After that, this needs a bit of explaining. Let us explain that a bit to you too. Those who, with no proof having come to them, about Allah's verses dispute are met, both in Allah's sight and in the sight of the believers, with great hatred. Correct. These parts are correct.
Every arrogant tyrant thus causes his heart to be sealed by Allah. Allah does not seal their hearts by His own wish and will. What does it say here? Thus Allah seals the heart of every arrogant tyrant. In Islam there are many tyrants. Many, sir, who have not left Islam and yet are oppressors. There are many criminals. As long as they do not leave Islam, Allah does not seal their hearts.
Whereas here it should say: Every arrogant tyrant thus causes his heart to be sealed by Allah. Who are these? Those who cause it to be sealed. If he himself caused it to be sealed. Ve ashabü'l-meş'emeti mâ ashabü'l-meş'emeh. The people to whom He says, O you of the left, woe to you. Yes.
Now,
we said this needs explaining. Those who, with no proof having come to them, about Allah's verses dispute.
He who has no sheikh, it says, his sheikh is Satan.
We have no sheikh, Hodja, so is our sheikh now Satan?
Now, a person has faith.
He keeps up his prayer, his supplication, his ablution, his fasting.
He takes this for inspiration. Satan strikes through piety, according to the verse. He gives him temptation. And he thinks, I have arrived.
He takes it as truth.
He has no proof in his hand. He takes it as truth. If he had a hodja, he would tell it to his hodja; that it is a temptation of Satan the hodja would explain to him, and through his hodja this person would drive Satan out of the role of sheikh. Drive him out of the role of sheikh over him. But unfortunately, since he has no hodja, he believes it. He says, I have arrived. And Satan tells him some lies and falsehoods. And he takes them as truth. Aren't there people like this? Many.
I have come across many like that. Well, how do you understand their condition, Hodja? Very simple.
He tells that superstition. As truth. And you, facing him, show him the verse. As truth. The verse. He flares up. He gets angry. He goes through a fit of anger. That is, he does not use his mind and reflect. He does not try to tell crooked from straight. With anger, his (?) feelings almost make him go at you. You understand that this is satanic now. Then you say, all right, fine, farewell.
What is the proof here? Having no proof whatsoever in his hand. Don't I have proof in my hand? I do. What is it? The verses. Proof has come. From whom? If Allah has raised him, if he is such a person, he gives you the verses of the Quran. And the verses of the Quran become your proof.
Yes. Every time we explain, we tell you the proofs here by bringing verses.
Yes. This part needed to be explained this much anyway. It needed explaining.
What does it say? Those who dispute about Allah's verses, both in Allah's sight and in the sight of the believers, are met with great hatred. Of course. For nothing, outside Islam, with superstitions, outside the verses, swayed by Satan's temptation, he sets out to tell people satanic words. And spews hatred at them. And they say, well, goodbye, and leave. They won't understand. Yes.
