Ghafir 69: Did you not see those who argue about Allah’s verses? How they turn away (from Allah).
Contents
Explanation
The misinterpretation
Have you not looked at those who argue about the Signs of Allah? How are they turned around (they do not come to approve of Him)
The right translation
Did you not see those who argue about Allah’s verses? How they turn away (from Allah).
Explanation
This is the wrong opening here: How they are turned away (they do not acknowledge Him): How they turn.
Having made a covenant with our Lord in the address Elestu bi Rabbikum, human beings have written their own wills as their destiny. No human being can go beyond or change this destiny. In this case, no one can turn anyone away from his religion or make him deny the Verses. Man has come to this world to prove what kind of a person he is. These people prove what kind of a person they are by living their destiny. In this case, no one can force anyone to deny their religion and the Verses, but they cannot take them out of their destiny. Because man cannot go beyond his destiny. If one is destined to disbelieve, a word is enough for him to turn away from his religion. Because the person will return to his original and his covenant.

Verse sixty-nine. Have you not looked at those who dispute about Allah's verses, it says. How are they being turned away?
Here they (?). No one can turn anyone away. Each lives out their own covenant. They do not come near to affirming it, it says. Here: did he not look at those who dispute about Allah's verses? How they turn away? Yes.
Something is missing here. Let's complete it.
(?) verse 69. Because, is there anything written like 'they do not come near to affirming it' anywhere? 69. Here. Elem tera ilellezîne yücâdilûne fî âyâtillâhi ennâ yübserûn, yusrafûn, yusrafûn. Yes. We'll look at it.
