Ghafir 74: (It will be said) “(Where are!) The ones other than Allah?” And they will say, “All of them have faded away from us. Actually, we were not worshipping anything before.” This is how confused the infidels are towards Allah.

The misinterpretation

He is someone other than Allah (where will it be said) They will also say that they have all gone away from us. More precisely, they will say that we did not worship anything before that. This is how Allah surprises the disbelievers.

The right translation

(It will be said) “(Where are!) The ones other than Allah?” And they will say, “All of them have faded away from us. Actually, we were not worshipping anything before.” This is how confused the infidels are towards Allah.

Explanation

This is where this verse also goes wrong: This is how Allah confuses the disbelievers. The truth is: This is how the disbelievers are confused against Allah.

When they open the Verses, they always open the Verses blaming our Lord. Our Lord neither surprises nor interferes in anyone's affairs in this worldly life. If every soul will be repaid for what it has done, if what each soul earns is the reward of its own two hands, without any soul being wronged, then our Lord will neither surprise anyone nor change people's destinies.

When our Lord made a covenant with human beings, He wrote their destiny according to their desires and sent them out into the world to prove what kind of human beings they are. In this respect, the verses are opened incorrectly, accusing our Lord of discriminating between people. The correct opening of the verse is: This is how the disbelievers are confused against Allah.

What is said in the video

Verse 74 is wrong. 'Where are those other than Allah?' it will be said. And they will say: they have all left us and gone. On the Day of Judgement, Allah Almighty will call what the idolaters worshipped. 'Where are those you worshipped?' He says. And they say: they have left us and gone. 'Where are those other than Allah?' it will be said. You know, those besides Me whom you worshipped as gods, worshipped. Where are they? And they will say: they have all left us and gone. Or rather, it seems we did not worship anything before, they will say. That is, there they are voicing their regret. Thus Allah confounds the disbelievers, it says.

The disbelievers get confounded like this, confounded. Allah does not confound anyone. Why? Because before, you were worshipping these idols. The truth came to you, and you tried to spread falsehood over the truth. And now here you say: it seems we did not worship anything. How nice. He is confounded here.

Whereas if he said: we worshipped in vain, we begged them in vain. So they cannot say this: 'Are You the owner of the dominion?' Because that is their destiny. He has no strength to say it, no faith. Yes. Thus the disbelievers become confounded before Allah, we have put it. That's how it ends. In the end.

Yes.
