Al-Ahqaf 10: Say, “Did you ever contemplate? If this is from Allah and you denied it, even when a witness from the sons of Israel believed in a similar message; (aren’t you being unjust) but you still show arrogance? Undoubtedly, oppressors do not attain Allah’s guidance (while they continue to be in that state).”

The misinterpretation

Say; Have you ever thought; If this is from Allah and you disbelieved in it, and a witness from the Children of Israel saw and believed in it, but you were still arrogant (wouldn't you be unjust?) Surely, Allah does not guide the wrongdoers.

The right translation

Say, “Did you ever contemplate? If this is from Allah and you denied it, even when a witness from the sons of Israel believed in a similar message; (aren’t you being unjust) but you still show arrogance? Undoubtedly, oppressors do not attain Allah’s guidance (while they continue to be in that state).”

Explanation

This is where this verse goes wrong: Verily Allah will not guide a wrongdoing people. The truth is: Surely the wrong-doing people will not come to the right way of Allah (as long as they continue in that way).

We have explained the meanings of these Verses under many other Verses. Since they repeat the verses with the same mistakes, we copy here the footnote we put under the other verses.

Are there not those who are guided among the community of wrongdoers? It is full. Is this not an attribute of our Lord? As we have said, the verses of the Qur'an have been opened in a contradictory way because of their incomplete and incorrect opening.

When they opened the verses, they opened them wrongly because of their incomplete opening. Those who are not aware of the covenant between people and Allah (swt) have evaluated people based on their current situation. However, people are guided when they realize that their ways were wrong after they were in the situation they were in, and they repent and enter the religion of Islam.

The origins of the wrong opening of the verses are due to the wrong opening of Verse 172 of Surah A'raf. Our Lord's doors of repentance are open. If those who are outside the religion of Islam die without repenting, they will go to the Hereafter without faith and without guidance. However, the door of repentance is open until the end of life. If they repent, they will go to the Hereafter as Muslims.

What is said in the video

We have come to Surah Al-Ahqaf. Let us see, in Surah Al-Ahqaf, in which verse? There is a mistake in verse ten. It is a rather long verse, but let us read it and see where the wrong part of the verse is. A verse cannot be wrong. The verse a person interprets wrongly, he interprets wrongly. "Say: have you ever considered? If this is from Allah and you have denied it, while a witness from the Children of Israel saw its like and believed, yet you were arrogant - would you not have done wrong? Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people," it says. Correct up to the end, but then wrong. What does it say? "Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people." Today there are many wrongdoers among the Muslims.

(?) when it says this one does not guide - Allah in any case does not lead anything to anything. Everyone chooses their own path, determines their own path, and goes. In that case, if Allah had not guided the whole wrongdoing people to the right path, today you would find very few people, as few as those who will enter paradise. Here we read it correctly up to the end. Look, we will explain the end to you. "Well, have you ever considered? If this is from Allah and you have denied it." That is, this Quran and this Messenger have been sent to you from Allah. If this Book too has been sent to you from Allah and you have denied it, "while a witness from the Children of Israel saw its like and believed" - and they believe in it because it resembles their own book - "yet you were arrogant,

would you not have done wrong? Surely, the wrongdoing people, as long as they continue on that path, cannot come to Allah's right path." So what does it say? Instead of "Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people," what does it say? "Surely, the wrongdoing people, as long as they continue on that path, cannot come to Allah's right path." So the will is always with man. There is an institution I won't name that says this: There are two wills, it says. Correct. A universal will and a partial will. When Allah, it says, removes the partial will from man, it says, that, it says, does not mean denial.

What does it mean then? What does it mean? When Allah Almighty removes a person's will from him, He makes him commit evil, and Allah does (?) on him. Just look at that. Yet there are two wills. One is the universal will, one is the partial will. Whatever we wished within our partial will, with Allah Almighty, at the Elestü bi-Rabbiküm address, Allah Almighty wrote our wish and desire, our script. According to it, He gave us characters; He no longer interferes with us. And He does not remove the will from us either. Learn these well. You people who warn us this way, learn well, stop attributing qualities to Allah, or you will fall into great sin.
