The misinterpretation
Was not he informed of Abraham, who was faithful to his covenant?
The right translation
Or, was he not told about the news of Abraham (who gave a beautiful covenant)?
Explanation
This is where this verse goes wrong: From Abraham who kept his covenant. Correctly: Abraham, who made a beautiful covenant.
People who do not know Verse 172 of Surah A'raf and cannot comprehend its meaning have made the same mistake by linking the covenant part of the whole Qur'an to our Lord and contradicting the verses with words such as "He promised and kept his promise" or "He broke his promise". They have opened the verses with superstitions such as people made promises and broke their promises. No one made a promise to Allah. Allah (swt) made a covenant with the people and whatever the people intended, our Lord wrote their destiny by giving them exactly what they intended. No creature can go beyond these destinies and no one can say that he promised and did not keep his word.
In this case, Ibrahim (peace be upon him) also gave a good covenant. Our Lord has informed us about Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) as an example for us. Our Lord says the following in His verse: He is a Hanif. He is neither Christian nor Hebrew. He is a Hanif on the straight path, that is, Islam. One who does not worship idols, not even at a young age, and does not take any god other than Allah, the only One.
What is said in the video
From the servants from whom Allah Almighty has cut off His mercy, nobody will intercede.
There is a mistake in verse 37 of Surah An-Najm. "Has he not been informed of Abraham, who fulfilled his covenant?" it says. Whereas, look what it says: "of Abraham, who fulfilled his covenant." This part: "fulfilled his covenant". If it were in people's hands as they wish — they say it like that anyway, don't they, sir: the Children of Israel broke their covenant, stepped outside their covenant. Well, the covenant — nobody can step outside his covenant. Here too, when it says "Abraham who fulfilled his covenant", here it says: "Has he not been informed about Abraham himself, who gave a beautiful covenant?" it says, "has he not been informed about him?" What does it say? "Has he not been informed about Abraham himself, who gave a beautiful covenant?" How did he smash those idols? Why was he called Hanif?
From a very young age, (?). He did not worship the idols. He knew the One Allah.
