Al-Mujadila 22: You will not find people who believe in Allah and the afterlife showing affection to those who oppose Allah and the Prophet, even if they are their parents, children, siblings, or close relatives. Faith has been inscribed in their hearts, and they have been strengthened with a spirit from Allah. They will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow, where they will dwell forever. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Allah. They are the party of Allah. Surely, it is the party of Allah that will achieve ultimate salvation.

The misinterpretation

You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day making friends with those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers, sons, brothers, or relatives. Allah has written faith in their hearts. And he supported them with a spirit from Him. He will admit them into gardens beneath which rivers flow, where they will abide forever. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Allah. Those are the ones on the side of Allah. Know well that only those who will achieve salvation are on the side of Allah

The right translation

You will not find people who believe in Allah and the afterlife showing affection to those who oppose Allah and the Prophet, even if they are their parents, children, siblings, or close relatives.

Explanation

This is the wrong place in this verse: Allah has written faith in their hearts. The truth is: It is they who have faith written in their hearts.

When we made a covenant with our Lord at Kalu Bela, according to the desires and wishes of each soul, people had their own desires and wishes written by our Lord as their destiny. Our Lord did not write people's destiny on His own will. In this case, the people who have made a covenant with our Lord are threefold.

And ashabul meymenati ma ashabul meymeneh, O you who are on the right, how happy are those on the right, and ashabul mashamati ma ashabul mashameh, how unfortunate are those on the left, and then there is the class of the mukarrebun. Our Lord, who made a covenant with us in Kalu Bela, did not interfere with people's desires and wishes, but gave them what they desired. The reason why He sent us to this world is so that you would not say, "If you had sent me to a realm where Your Essence is invisible, I would have worshipped you there. The meaning of the last sentence I have said is that you can read the 134th verse of Surah Taha and the 47th verse of Surah Al-Qasas.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Mujadilah In Al-Mujadilah, verse 22 has been rendered wrongly; it is a long verse, let's read it. First, again, the wrong one, that is, the wrongly rendered one, we read. A people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, even if they are their fathers, sons, brothers or relatives, with those who are enemies of Allah and His Messenger, you will not see them making friends. That is correct. With those who are enemies of Allah and His Messenger, nobody makes friends with them. Because they have no friendship. Why is there no friendship in them? Because Allah Almighty calls them lying disbelievers from the start.

So are all of them lying disbelievers? Yes, all of them are lying disbelievers. Because there is no sincerity in them. When Allah Almighty created our souls in the realm of lahut, those who, while seeing our Lord, denied Him are liars there. And Allah Almighty calls them lying disbelievers. There is no friendship with them. Those are the ones in whose hearts Allah has written faith and a spirit from Him, from Him, has supported them.

Those are the ones in whose hearts Allah has written faith, and with a spirit from Him He has supported them. Here it means those who believe in Allah. They will have gardens through which rivers flow. They will abide there forever. Allah is pleased with them. And they are pleased with Allah. Those are the ones on Allah's side. Know well that those who will attain salvation are only those on Allah's side. Now there is a shortcoming here, that part. Look, we are correcting it now. A people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, even if they are their fathers, sons, brothers or relatives, with those who are enemies of Allah and His Messenger, you will not see them making friends.

Correct. Those are the ones who have had faith written in their hearts. What does it say here?

Those are the ones in whose hearts Allah has written faith, it says. Has written faith. Whereas the one who said to Allah, 'Yes, You are my Lord,' of his own will and desire has faith written for himself. Otherwise Allah again writes faith in their hearts, but this time it comes to mean He has written faith for whomever He wills. Those are the ones in whose hearts Allah has written faith. Here too, because people, with their personal views, their personal wishes and desires, had what they wanted from Allah Almighty written for themselves as destiny, here too you will not see them befriending enemies of Allah and His Messenger.

Those are the ones who have had faith written in their hearts. Yes, personal. And Allah, with a spirit from Him, has supported them. With a spirit from Him. What is this? With a spirit from Him, with His Essence, He has supported them, it says. With His Essence. Yes, how beautiful. For people of faith, Allah, our Lord, supporting a person with His Essence: is there anything as beautiful as that? He will admit them to gardens through which rivers flow. They will abide there forever. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Allah. Those are the ones on Allah's side. Know well that those who will attain salvation are only those on Allah's side.

Yes, how beautiful.

A person has followed his nafs, stripped his body stark naked, and become 'civilised'. In this situation, on this so-called social media, among these insolent people who don't know themselves, insolent people who don't know themselves. Wherever there is an exposed one, sir, someone who doesn't know himself, someone inhuman, if there is, Sir, 'brought the house down,' they say. 'Brought the whole place down,' they say. They shower praise on them. Shower praise. So, according to the verse 'whoever resembles them is like them'. If a person has stripped himself, and what is called chastity, called decency, called modesty he has torn apart and scattered all over, then whoever embraces this and supports him has likewise his chastity, his honour and his dignity trampled underfoot.

And what does Allah Almighty say? If you seek glory and honour, glory and honour are with Allah, He says. So man was created honoured above the worlds. The human being, created with honour, will cover his private parts. There is an honour in man called modesty, called shame, called chastity. If these are torn, if that person has lost all sense of shame, then one can hardly mend him anymore. Yes.
