As-Saf 5: When Moses said to his people; “Oh my people! Why do you hurt me while you truly know that I am the Messenger of Allah, Who sent me to you?” When their hearts strayed away from Allah, they strayed away from the right path. Wrongdoers cannot find Allah’s guidance (as long as they are in that state).

Explanation
The misinterpretation
Once upon the people of Moses; O my people! Why do you hurt me when you know that I am the messenger of Allah sent to you? He said. When they strayed from the path, Allah misled their hearts. Allah does not guide the wicked people to the straight path.
The right translation
When Moses said to his people; “Oh my people! Why do you hurt me while you truly know that I am the Messenger of Allah, Who sent me to you?” When their hearts strayed away from Allah, they strayed away from the right path. Wrongdoers cannot find Allah’s guidance (as long as they are in that state).
Explanation
There are two places in this verse that have been misinterpreted. 1- When they went astray, Allah made their hearts astray. 2- Allah does not guide a party of transgressors.
In the worldly realm, Our Lord does not execute any judgment on human beings. This is because our Lord, who made a covenant with people at Kalu Bela, has written their desires and wishes as their destiny. When people come to the world, they make desires and wishes within their destiny. Our Lord creates causes for them and their actual actions and deeds are written down for them as rewards and sins. In this case, if every human being will be held accountable for his/her deeds, our Lord creates causes for them and people prove what kind of a human being they are by the deeds they commit while fulfilling their desires and wishes. In this case, which human being did our Lord lead astray and which human being did He turn away from the right path? Human beings themselves are responsible for the outcome of all their actions.
What is said in the video
Let's see, elsewhere: we've come to Surah As-Saff, As-Saff. In Surah As-Saff, the fifth verse has been rendered wrongly. Once Moses said to his people: O my people, though you know that I am the messenger Allah has sent to you, why do you hurt me, he had said. When they swerved from the path, Allah too made their hearts swerve. Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people. Lastly, here the sentences have been rendered very wrongly. Look what it says; let's both read the correct one and explain it to you. What does the correct one say? Once Moses said to his people, O my people, though you know that I am the messenger Allah has sent to you, why do you hurt me, he had said. When their hearts swerved from Allah, whose? The person's heart swerved from Allah.
It is not that Allah made their hearts swerve. They themselves swerved from the right path. Yes. Then, however, when the disobedient people persist in that state, to Allah's right path they cannot come. Whenever they refrain from the deeds they do, sir, (?) to Allah, and become repentant, sir, then they have found the right path. Stay in Allah's care.
