The misinterpretation
However, they do not take heed without Allah's will. He is worthy of being shunned, and He is the forgiver.
The right translation
Whereas, those who don’t seek (guidance) from Allah, don’t take advice. Allah is the (Only) One Who is worthy to be feared, and yet, Allah is the (Only) One, Who is also the Owner of Mercy.
Explanation
This is where this verse goes wrong. They do not take counsel unless Allah wills. Indeed: Those who do not seek (guidance) from Allah do not take admonition.
Our Lord made a covenant with human beings in Kalu Bela and wrote everyone's destiny as their destiny. When we come to this world, each soul comes to prove what kind of a person it is, and after proving what kind of a person it is, it passes on to the Hereafter. In this case, our Lord does not interfere with people when they prove what kind of a person they are. Because when people will be held to account in the Hereafter in the Court-i Kübra, they will be held to account for what they have done with their actual deeds. In this case, the correct opening of the verse is: "Those who do not seek (guidance) from Allah do not take counsel."
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Muddaththir, verse fifty-six: 'Yet without Allah willing' - this is the wrongly rendered verse. 'Yet without Allah willing, they will not take heed; He is the One worthy to be feared, and He is the One who forgives,' it says. Here, at the start: 'Yet those who do not ask Allah for guidance will not take heed.' Look. What does it say? Those who do not ask Allah for guidance will not take heed. And what does this say? Yet without Allah willing, they will not take heed. They only take heed if Allah wills. You created Your servants. Why did You create them? You created them so that Your Being would be known.
So You would not discriminate between Your servants. 'But I left My servants within their own will.' There are two wills: the partial will and the universal will. 'I wanted man to use his will and to program himself.' 'So I created man as the noblest of creatures.' 'Because I gave him a part of My spirit.' My Lord programmed me, but I had myself programmed. All people, according to their own wishes and desires, had themselves programmed. Yes. Even so, those who do not ask Allah for guidance will not take heed. He is the One worthy to be feared, and He is the One who forgives: it is Allah.
