The misinterpretation
He includes whomever He wills into His mercy. As for the wrongdoers, He has prepared for them a painful chastisement.
The right translation
Allah admits into Allah’s mercy those who wish (from Allah). And yet, for the unjust (who die in that state), Allah has prepared a severe punishment.
Explanation
This is the wrong place in this verse: He includes whom He wills in His mercy. The correct opening is: He includes in His mercy whomsoever He wills (from among you).
We have written in many verses that our Lord has no will over mankind, and since the Qur'an refers to will as repetition, we are putting our footnote about will as repetition.
In this verse we have written that our Lord has no will over people, that every soul has made a covenant with our Lord, and that people's desires and wishes are written to them as destiny, and that this will never change, and that in this case our Lord has no will over people. It is explained in detail in verse 172 of Surah A'râf. Why were we created, where were we created, why did He make a covenant with mankind and why did He send us into the world even though He knew what we were? You can get information there.
What is said in the video
What does verse 31 say? The wrongly rendered one: 'He admits whom He wills into His mercy.' Good heavens. Allah Almighty supposedly admits whom He wills into His mercy. Allah sent the Holy Quran to the worlds. He pours His mercy upon the worlds. Whoever wishes will attain that mercy. Whoever wishes. Yes.
In His verse Allah Almighty sent the Holy Quran to the worlds as a light, a radiance, to dispel the darkness in people's hands. Indeed, in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 17, He had the hypocrites light a fire, you know; the hypocrites lit the fire, it lit up their surroundings. Then Allah Almighty put out the fire and left them in darkness. Good grief! Astonishing. Astonishing. Yes. What does it say here? 'He admits whom He wills into His mercy. As for the wrongdoers, He has prepared a painful punishment for them,' it says.
And aren't there wrongdoers among Muslims? Plenty. What wrongdoers there are!
They ask the Prophet:
'Whom do they call a wrongdoer?' 'A father who discriminates between his children is a wrongdoer too,' he says. So if we are wrongdoers, if we do wrong, are we in Hell forever? When we go with the light of Islam, what does Allah Almighty say in Surah Al Imran? 'Do not head toward the fire prepared for the disbelievers,' He says. Now here, people who enter Hell, the fire prepared for the disbelievers, with the light of faith will serve their punishment and come out, but the fire will not touch them.
If you don't know the meaning of the verses, you talk recklessly like this. Yes. Whereas 'He admits into His mercy those of you who wish. As for the wrongdoers, for when when they pass on to the Hereafter, a painful punishment has been prepared for them, in that they pass into the Hereafter in that state. Yes.
