Explanation
The misinterpretation
People are truly at a loss.
The right translation
Indeed, (some) humankind are certainly at a loss.
Explanation
This is the missing link in this verse. People are indeed in waste. Indeed: (Some) of the people are indeed in waste. Since they have made the same mistake in Surah Asr, we are putting the wrong footnote of Surah Adiyat here as a repetition.
When it is said that people are very ungrateful to their Lord, including all human beings, it is blaming human beings for the fact that our Lord could not create a decent human being and could not create a complete human being. Such careless writings are an insult to our Lord. The truth of this verse is that some people are very ungrateful to the Lord. Because our Lord has given His spirit to man. He has left man free in his own will. So when He said, "I am your Lord," people were divided into three groups of their own will. The seventh verse of Surah Al-Taqi'a says, wa kuntum ezwajan selaseh, all the descendants of ezwaj from each other are three classes. When people were addressed by our Lord at Kalu Bela, they were divided into three classes. Right-wingers; Muslims. Leftists; non-Muslims. And the mukarrebun class. These are the saints, martyrs, martyrs and prophets. Have they also become ungrateful? In this case, the correct opening of the verse is: Some of the people are very ungrateful to their Lord.
What is said in the video
What have we come to? There's none in Surah Al-Qari'ah. We've come to Surah At-Takathur. Here too there's no issue. There is a mistake in the second verse of Surah Al-Asr. What does it say? I swear by time that humans are truly in loss, it says. Here too they have made the same mistake. Some humans are truly in loss. Who are they? Non-Muslims. Ve ashabü'l-meş'emeti, the Companions of the Left. Yes. These are the ones of the left.
So they eat and drink what Allah gives, and turn their backs on Allah. And they associate partners with Allah. These are truly in loss. And a Muslim — a Muslim is not in loss. Then how do you translate this as "humans are truly in loss"?
Yes.
