Abasa 17: Woe to (some amongst) the humankind. How vigorous denier are they!
Contents
Explanation
The misinterpretation
Damn human! What a denial.
The right translation
Woe to (some amongst) the humankind. How vigorous denier are they!
Explanation
This Verse has also been misinterpreted from the beginning: "Damn man! How unbelieving he is." Not all human beings are disbelievers. Among them are friends of Allah, Prophets, awliya, martyrs and scholars. "The ink of scholars is like the blood of martyrs." According to the hadith, for such righteous servants of our Lord, our Lord does not say, "What a disbeliever is this damned person! Rather: "Damn (some) people! What a denier."
What is said in the video
The verses prove one another.
We've come to Surah Abasa. In verse 17 and verse 23 there are mistakes. Let's read verse 17. 'Perish man!' it says. 'How he denies!' it says.
Now when he says 'Perish man, how he denies!', he puts his prophets in it as well. He puts his scholars in it as well. He puts his learned men in it as well. Then, if this cursed man is so ungrateful, Allah Almighty cannot create a decent human being at all, then.
Isn't that so? Whereas Whereas 'Perish some people, how they deny!' 'Perish some people, how they deny!' Aren't there such? Fe ashabül meymeneti ma ashabül meymeneh. O people of the right, glad tidings to you. Ve ashabül meş'emeti ma ashabül meş'emeh. O people of the left, woe to you. Was-sabiqun as-sabiqun. Ula'ika al-muqarrabun. Fi jannat an-na'im. In the third group, the group of the foremost. So there are people of the right, people of the left, and the group of the foremost. Allah Almighty created beautiful people. Look. He adorned the world with people. With the good ones. Yes.
