And they are the ones who turn away from empty and useless deeds.

Tafsir

Believers enjoy the pleasure of remembering Allah in this world and are in awe and peace of being with Allah. They do not waste their time in idle talk or in doing useless things that will not benefit them. There are also such people among the believers who contemplate Allah (swt) at every opportunity. Even when they are living in the worldly realm, even when they are in exchange with people, they do not stop contemplating Allah (swt) for a moment, except for their human qualities, and they cannot do without remembering Allah (swt) in their hearts. This is what the verse says: "There are such servants of Mine that neither shopping nor trade will distract them from My remembrance". Such people are the ones who have turned their faces away from gossip, useless talk, idle deeds, etc. and try to do everything in a way that Allah will be pleased with them. In a hadith, it is said, "Be moralized with the morals of Allah. These are the people who turn away from empty and unnecessary affairs and try to be moralized with the morals of Allah. Hazrat 'A'isha was asked what the morals of the Prophet (PBUH) were like, and Hazrat 'A'isha pointed to the Holy Qur'an in her hand and said, "This was the morals of the Prophet (PBUH)". People who are judged by the verses of the Qur'an and who live by these verses will be moralized with the morals of Allah. Blessed are those who are ruled by these Verses and organize their lives accordingly.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Vellezîne hum ani'l-lağvi mu'ridûn. Those who from vain, from vain and useless things turn away, it says. Yes. The believers have tasted in worldly life the joy of remembering Allah and are in the humility and peace of being with Allah.

They do not waste their time on idle talk or busying themselves with useless work that brings them no benefit. Among the believers there are also people who at every opportunity contemplate Allah Almighty. While living in this world, even when dealing with people in trade, apart from human nature, they do not hold back for a moment from contemplating Allah, and they cannot do without remembering Allah in their hearts. If we were to cite a verse for these words I have said, neither buying and selling nor trade keeps him from My remembrance, it says. Whom? I have such servants that neither buying and selling nor trade keeps them from My remembrance.

While trading, while talking, looking out for the interest of the person before him, helping him for Allah's sake, he wants to be of help to him. He wants to help. And, constantly contemplating Allah, helping him within the rule of the Sharia in a way that shows him what is right is also a remembrance. So neither buying and selling nor any event keeps him from the remembrance of Allah. Neither trade nor buying and selling keeps him from the remembrance of Allah. So we write it like this. While living in this world, even when dealing with people in trade, apart from human nature, that is, forgetting; we were created from the group of the forgetful, apart from very little absent-mindedness, they do not hold back for a moment from contemplating Allah, and they cannot do without remembering Allah in their hearts. A verse says: I have such servants that neither buying and selling nor trade keeps them from My remembrance, it says. Such people have turned their faces away from things like gossip, useless talk, idle work, and try to do all their affairs in a way that Allah will be pleased with them; they are such people.

A hadith says: Take on the character of Allah. These, too, are people who keep away from idle and needless things and try to take on the character of Allah. They asked our mother Aisha: What kind of character was the character of the Prophet (peace be upon him)? Our mother Aisha, pointing to the Holy Quran she held in her hand, said: This was the Messenger's character. People who are governed by the verses of the Quran and live by this rule have taken on the character of Allah. Blessed are those who are governed by these verses and order their lives accordingly. Yes.
