What is said in the video
Yes.
Shall we turn on the air conditioner, Hodja?
Shall we turn on the air conditioner?
Don't ask me questions while I'm doing something here. Do whatever you're doing.
Haluk Tanışlar is asking a question. Haluk Tanışlar, but is Haluk Tanışlar here? No. He's probably listening, inshallah.
He has written verse 81 of Surah Al Imran here. Let's see what it says here.
Remember when Allah, from the prophets: after I give you the Book and wisdom, when a prophet comes confirming what is with you, him you shall surely help. Do you affirm this? Do you take on this covenant of Mine? When He said this, they answered: we accept.
Thereupon Allah says: then bear witness, and I am, with you, among the witnesses. Now, in verse 81 Your if you understand Arabic this way, since you knew this much, Tanışlar, you should have written a book too. Yes.
Allah, from the prophets: after I give you the Book and wisdom. From the prophets: after I give you the Book and wisdom. What does "from the prophets" mean? Let's say He will send fifty prophets, and among them to fifteen or twenty He will give a book. Is that so? It says "from the prophets". Yes. After I give you the Book and wisdom, when a prophet comes confirming what is with you, what does this mean?
We sent a prophet but did not send a book. After him we sent another prophet. A Nabi is also a prophet. And a prophet is both Nabi and Rasul. What does this mean? Rasul is Allah's messenger. Nabi likewise in the sense of Allah's messenger. The difference between them: some are given a book, some are not. Nabi is the name for a prophet sent to one people. To one people.
Then, if larger peoples come into being, to them He sends Rasuls and books. Because the Nabi addresses a people. For example, Salih (peace be upon him), Lot (peace be upon him), they address one people, the people where they are. There's no need to give them a book. He already tells it to their prophets. Look, he is also a prophet. A Nabi, but without a book. A prophet. Why? He addresses the people in this neighbourhood.
Well, the Rasul has a book; so to those farther away than this neighbourhood, since he can't reach them, He sends books. He informs them together with the books. That's the difference. What is it? A Nabi within his own people; his own people, say like a city. Let's say, how many thousand people are in a city? A hundred thousand, a hundred and fifty thousand people. The peoples back then didn't even have that many. Fifteen thousand, twenty thousand, or seven thousand, eight thousand people. Allah Almighty sends to these. People by people He sends His Nabis, His prophets. Look, a Nabi is a prophet too. Who sends the Nabi?
Allah sends him. Who sends the prophet? Allah sends him. Of the two, one is Turkish, one is Arabic. Nabi means prophet, but the meaning of Nabi is that he addresses his own people. He needs no book. Because those beyond the people are very far away. Or else He will send them their own prophet, or send His book, the People of the Book. Then a Nabi: within a certain people, their understanding is less. The other people, say, has stronger understanding. Ah, to this one He sends a Nabi, a prophet without a book, a Nabi. To that one He also sends a book. Why? Their understanding is greater. And their numbers are greater.
(?) That's the difference. Otherwise, send a book to a people of five thousand, send a book to a people of seven thousand, send a book to a people of four thousand, send a book to a people of twenty thousand, and then what? How nice: the book He would send to their own people He sends with their prophets. Look what we say: the Nabi He sends to his own people, He sends with their prophets. I send. A Nabi is also a prophet. Someone with a duty, sent by Allah.
Yes.
There, in the Arabic, it says there is a book. It says there's this and that. Look what it says here now. It writes "of wisdom". That is: Remember when Allah, from the Nabi: after I give you the Book and wisdom, after giving the Book and wisdom, when a prophet comes confirming what is with you, look what it says now Ve iz ehazallâhu mîsâka'n-nebiyyîne lemâ âteytüküm He has written its Turkish, but we can't read it. It writes "min kitâbin ve hikmetin". That is: Remember when Allah, from the Nabis: after I give you the Book and wisdom, after giving, after giving let's do it like this after giving, when a prophet comes confirming what is with you. He doesn't even give His Nabi a book. If that's how you understand it, you should have written a fine book too.
Why did these people write wrong books? Why did they write it wrong? Because they don't know the meanings of the verses. Look, what does it say anyway? Remember when Allah, from the prophets: after I give you the Book and wisdom. The Book and wisdom. That is, whomever I give knowledge, I give wisdom. The Book and wisdom. The meaning of the Book together with the books: He gives him wisdom so that he understands the verses fully. Yes. After it comes, when a prophet comes confirming what is with you, you shall surely help him. Do you affirm this? Do you take on this covenant of Mine? Here it doesn't say, I sent books to the Nabis.
Is there any such thing? And the prophet, after sending the book, I mean, to the Nabis and Rasuls; there are Rasuls here. What does it say? "From the prophets": it gathers them all. When it says prophets, it gathers them all. Who is a prophet? The messengers Allah sends. His Nabi is a prophet too. Can you say Salih is not a prophet? Can you say Lot is not a prophet? Can you say Abraham (peace be upon him) is not a prophet?
Well? Did a book come to them?
Did a book come to Lot? Did a book come to Salih, did a book come to Abraham? I mean, from the Book; I mean, it has gathered the Rasuls and Nabis all together: when I send you a prophet, that is, when I send a Nabi after the Nabis, or when I send a People of the Book; I mean, you are a Nabi, the other is a prophet, that is, He sends him a book. That is, the population has grown, or minds have advanced, gone beyond the mental capacity of your time; this time a book is needed.
One must understand these well. Yes. Otherwise a Nabi, addressing a certain people, not subject to a book, the whole of the book, with his prophet, to that people he will explain. There is nobody beyond his people. I mean, there's nobody to announce it to. But if the people are many, for them, for example, there are cities, between cities. Well, now, a prophet can't go around the whole city. What will he do? He sends a book; it's announced to people through copies of the book. With books. For example, He sends Moses the Ten Commandments. What happened? Moses, first a Nabi, then a prophet. A prophet is a prophet too. Writing on stone, the Ten Commandments.
For example, John is a Nabi, but a prophet, but after him comes Jesus, a Rasul; he too is a prophet. Now you can't say a Nabi is not a prophet. These are Allah's messengers. But for a certain person, for people addressing a certain people, there's no need for a book. Even if He sent a book, it would tell the person the same thing. Do those who received no book explain by inspiration, Hodja? Do the Nabis who received no book explain by inspiration, Hodja? Not by inspiration; inspiration, when it comes, comes to one who is not a prophet. Inspiration means something else. Inspiration: the way a verse opens up Allah Almighty makes known by inspiration to the heart of a servant who is not a prophet.
To His prophet He makes the verses known. However many Nabis came, to them He explained by revelation. There's no need for a book here. In one narration, 124,000 prophets came. 124,000 prophets. Among them there are Nabis. And there are four divine books. The Torah, the Psalms, the Gospel, the Quran. Since Allah Almighty says in His word: whatever We said at first, it is the same at the end. Whatever He told His Nabi at first, that is, whatever He told those peoples, in wide detail in the Book He tells us these too. But for us it's wider, of course. Because the people of that time had a certain power to do things.
The people of this time have a certain power to do things. Water is ready in his home. For example, his car is ready under him. He goes and comes wherever he wants. People of old couldn't go to villages five kilometres away, behind the mountains, and come back. Those were (?) places.
Yes. Well, now it's like tayy-i mekân. Anyway, unless certain events appear, it says, the Last Day won't come. For example, tayy-i mekân. Today there is tayy-i mekân. I go and pray the noon prayer, let me tell you, in Mecca. I come back and pray the afternoon prayer here.
Or it's noon prayer time in Mecca, or it's noon prayer time here; the plane has taken off. Let's go, I'll pray the noon prayer in Mecca. It's not afternoon there yet. So in this case the situation of tayy-i mekân is ready. It has already appeared. That's why one must understand the verses well, know them well. That is, he's asking what a Nabi is anyway: a Nabi, to his own people, to a few people, to some thousand people, or a promise he can give. That is, the commands of the verses that Allah Almighty has given to people.
We're returning to our lesson. If you didn't understand, ask again. Haluk Tanışlar. If you didn't understand, ask again. Asking is free. Maybe I couldn't explain it. I may have skipped some parts. I may not have explained the part you'd understand. Ask again about the part you couldn't understand.
Look, how nice. Cengiz asked. Is it inspiration, he says, that He gives to His prophet? No, for the prophet it's verses too. How did we confirm that? Whatever We said at first, it is the same at the end, He says. The books: whatever We said at first. The Quran, the verses. Yes.
Tanışlar didn't answer. He probably didn't listen. He asked the question and probably didn't listen. Now, where he went wrong is here.
It writes "the Book and its wisdom", "the Book and wisdom". Now, he has mixed up all the Nabis and Rasuls; it writes the Book and wisdom. He couldn't grasp this part. That's why I said: if you didn't understand, ask. I'm saying, let me explain in wider detail. First He creates the soul of the Prophet. From his soul Allah Almighty creates the souls of the prophets. That is, however many prophets will come to the world, He creates their souls. In that state He makes a covenant with them. When I send you a prophet, or when I send a Rasul, when I give the Book and wisdom, when I give you a Book and wisdom, when a prophet comes confirming what is with you, will you help him?
And they say yes. And I am among the witnesses with you, He says. Now, there is nothing here saying, I will give a book to all prophets.
Now, when it says all prophets, he has mixed up the Nabis and Rasuls too. A book to all of them. If on top of that He had given all of them a book: 124,000, in one narration, Nabis and prophets come, prophets; there would have to be 124,000 books here. Yet there are 4 books. What are they? The Torah, the Psalms, the Gospel and the Quran. So books were not given to the Nabis. That is, the Nabis, as I said earlier, I must have explained the essence: to their own people, their own community, Allah Almighty's command to them. For example, this to his own people, to his own community, sir, a Nabi explaining it; if no book came, this, if you could ask, can you show us such a Nabi, what I told you: addressing his own community, only his own community, the people of Salih.
What do they say? They call Salih a swindler, they say you're a liar. What do they say? They say, there, he brings the camel out of something, out of a rock. They don't believe either; they cut the camel's legs. What happens? They see that Allah Almighty sends a heat. In that heat a cloud forms in the sky. Let's gather under the cloud, they say, we'll cool off a bit there. He destroys the people. Look, one cloud. How many people are under it? 500 people, 1,000 people, 1,500 people, 2,000 people, or 3,000 people, or 5,000 people. I mean, to one community. His own people are there.
These are Nabis. Allah Almighty sends one Nabi to every community. Look what it says: according to a narration, 124,000. So to such communities, to separate communities, Allah Almighty, to the life of the people there, or in a way they won't have difficulty, to His prophets makes known His commands without a book. Here and there, of course.
This is an ease for people.
What He sent to this people, that place won't be able to do. Because there's no technology, or there's nothing. What does He do? People, people, people, people, people, in a way they'll know their Lord, in a way they can carry, carry that burden, the prophets He sent; what do we say, look, His Nabis or prophets; a prophet, a Nabi is a prophet too, but there's no meaning here that He gave a book to every prophet. Tanışlar. Use your head, use your mind.
now my children, this one too is one of our children, of the listeners; they have a mistake, a mistake: they learn knowledge from me very well, they learn the knowledge of the Quran, but since they have no roots, they confuse things; this time they try to extend everything according to the first verse, the way they first heard it, extending it in their heads and opening it. Because there are no roots yet. He extends that verse in his own head and opens it. He opens it wrongly. And because he opens it wrongly, he goes wrong. If he had roots, earlier roots, he would correct the mistake with those roots.
Then he would understand the meaning of the verse better. That's why you can't give meaning to verses yet.
Today even those who know Arabic grammar give wrong meanings, just like this. Wrong meaning. Because what did Allah Almighty say in the earlier verse, and the meaning in this verse, what does it express, and what does it intend together with the other verses? It will be gathered with those verses. Then, when he misunderstands a verse, together with the other verses he will grasp the correctness of the verse. Otherwise, if you go by one noble verse and set out to give a fatwa, if you understand it like this, then mistakes appear like this. Here it says, when I send a book, as Nabis, prophets. He sends the Nabi too as a prophet, as, um, People of the Book.
That's how he understands it here. Yet he isn't aware that a Nabi addresses one people. This is where their minds go soft. He has learned the knowledge, though.
There are some things, but he gets stuck on a single verse, sir. There's a fixation. If there were a background, it would fix things.
We left off at verse 39 of Surah Al-Hijr. Iblis said: My Lord, in return for Your leading me astray, I will adorn sins for them on earth, and I will surely lead all of them astray, he says. One must know this: Allah leads no one astray. That's one. Allah is no one's enemy. That's two. Allah doesn't pick anyone. That's three.
yes, Metin, tell me, my son, I'm giving a lesson, tell me, let's see what you're going to say, go on, as you want have it done, have it done however you want, tell me how you want it, okay, go on okay, my son, go on, (?), I'm doing it, peace be upon you, are the materials from you, wait let's see. Every- thing included, he said. Look, everything included, five thousand lira. Everything included, thirteen thousand lira.
As I said, three thousand lira materials, two thousand lira labour. There you go.
You're late, late. We explained Nabi and prophet. You're late.
You can't understand what is essential.
In the universe nothing is as honourable as knowledge. In the universe. Because Allah Almighty: knowledge is honourable. Even if knowledge is in China, it is honourable, He says. The Prophet also says: if knowledge is in China, go and get it. If that knowledge doesn't benefit him, he will be among the losers.
For example, today there is knowledge in developed countries, isn't there? There is in America, in England, in some, in Russia: developed knowledge, technology. But if that knowledge doesn't lead him to the truth, all the pleasant deeds he did; look, it says pleasant deeds anyway, it pleased them, it says. You can satisfy your hunger an hour later too, but the knowledge I'm explaining you won't find. now does Çavuş understand why I laughed when you went why I laughed behind you, may Allah grant you safety. What did we say? here, in the wrongly opened verse: Iblis said, My Lord, in return for Your leading me astray, I will adorn sins for them on earth and I will surely lead them all astray, he says. Now Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes.
Even if humans and jinn gathered, they could not harm Allah. So Allah doesn't take anyone as a counterpart and become anyone's enemy. Allah does not abandon His justice and pick anyone among people according to His own wish and desire. Pay attention to the words. By His own wish and desire. By people drawing near to Allah, by their rising, by giving them their due, whatever duty He will give, He gives to them. Not to whomever He wants. Because Allah has the attribute of justice.
Yes.
Allah leads no one astray. Iblis went astray himself. In return for my going astray, he says. That is, in return for my rebellion against You. You told me, prostrate to Adam. And I didn't. Because of my rebellion against Your word, he says. In return for my going astray. Let's read now. Iblis said: My Lord, in return for my going astray, my rebellion, I will adorn sins for them on earth and I will surely lead them all astray. He says. And in Surah Saba, I think, Allah Almighty says it so beautifully. Is Surah Saba at 444? Let's see. 429. Sir, for example, let (?) come. 412. Let's see. Sir, Now in the setting we find it faster, Saba.
it has gone too far ahead. Four hundred twenty-seven it's at. Four hundred twenty-seven. Yes.
Now let's read these two verses to you. The wrongly opened one and the correctly opened one. By oath, Iblis made his assumption about them come true. That is, here: My Lord, in return for my going astray, my rebellion, I will adorn sins for them on earth and I will surely lead them all astray. He says. Iblis (?) Allah. Only Allah knows the unseen. Since Iblis doesn't know the unseen, since he doesn't know Allah Almighty's covenant with people, since he doesn't know who among people is obedient and who is wretched, with his own lower feelings he says here he'll turn people to himself and make them rebel against Allah.
And look how beautifully Allah Almighty says it now. You can't open the verses by a single noble verse. What does it say here too? By oath, Iblis made his assumption about them come true. That is, here he didn't say it as truth. That is, he didn't say it knowingly. As a result of his anger: because You favoured him over me, I will sit in front of Your servants coming to You. I will lead Your servants astray from coming to You, he says. And look what Allah Almighty says. He says, Iblis didn't say it knowingly, he said it as a guess. But he made his guess come true, He says. Because when I made the covenant, there were also those who rebelled against Me, He says.
He can only turn those who rebel to himself. Because for My servant who knows Me, Satan's (?) is (?). Now look where one verse goes, how far it goes. That is, if you set out to give meaning here by one noble verse, it'll be the end of you. The other verses: it said this here, this there, there's a mistake in these, you'll say. You can't understand the verses. Then, look now, what we said is already said here. I'm reading the wrong version here now. Yet Satan has no influence at all over them. It already says so. Only so that We distinguish the one who believes in the Hereafter from the one who remains in doubt.
So that We may know, We gave him this opportunity. As if Allah doesn't know now who is for Hell, who is for Paradise. Look. It's written in such a way here. He gives Satan that opportunity to see whom he'll lead astray, whom he won't. Look at the mistake here now. And Allah Almighty will know. Ah, say this one is among the strayed, and this one among the upright. No. A verse can't be opened this wrongly. What do we say here? Yet Satan had no influence over them at all. Only so that the one who believes in the Hereafter and those who remain in doubt be separated from each other, Satan was given the chance he asked for.
How beautifully Allah Almighty says it. Your Lord truly knows everything, He says. Yes.
It never ends with one verse.
He understands, doesn't he? Ramazan. Yes. And here too, as what's-his-name understood it, he has mixed up the prophets and the Nabis. He sends books to the prophets. And the Nabis, he says, a book, he says. The Nabis got mixed up here. They've been mixed up. Sir, if books came to them too, he says, then what's the difference between Nabi and prophet, he says. Most simply: if books had come to the Nabis too, there would have to be 124,000 books. Yes. That's also the shortest answer. The wrongly opened place here is this: My Lord, My Lord, in return for Your leading me astray. The correct one is: My Lord, in return for my going astray, my rebellion.
One word, one word both attributes it to Allah and takes the verse out of its meaning.
In the translation of the noble verse, it is said that our Lord led Satan astray. All Muslims know that Allah did not lead Satan astray. Satan rebelled against Allah's command.
Let's bring this part here from there. Let's find our page. Page 307. Yes.
Because he opposed Allah's command and did not prostrate to Adam, to our father Adam. Well, now, if the Owner of the worlds told me, not joking, look: get into that barrel of needles, I'd get in comfortably. The barrel of needles would point everywhere, at your eyes, your back, everywhere. Allah does not will injustice to the worlds. Surely there is something of mercy for you in it. That's one. Or you would be subjected to a very great punishment. He has punished you. With a small punishment He saves you, gives you life. That's two. Allah wrongs no one. And He doesn't command you to do wrong either.
I said this as a comparison. A comparison.
yes, prostrate to Adam, He says; I won't, he says. Look at the pride in that. He had prostrated to Allah so much that in his time on earth: there's not a span of earth, he says, that my forehead hasn't touched in prostration, he says; on earth not a span of earth, he says. The angels envied him, admired his worship, and Allah Almighty raises him up to be the teacher of the angels. Look at His justice, Allah's justice. This is justice. Though He knew He'd curse him in the end, He gives him the reward for the deed he did. That is the reward. For rebellion? The recompense of rebellion. Look how beautiful the justice is.
Yes. So here too there's an example for us. Why did Allah do this? Why did He set a cursed one at the head of the angels? There's a program for this beforehand. If you ask, Hodja, what is that program, let me tell you the program.
Allah will raise a person by His justice.
He'll give the rebel his punishment.
And Satan, though he is man's enemy, though He raised him up to be the teacher of the angels, His cursing him and casting him out, putting Adam into Paradise, and all people being in Paradise; our mother Eve also in Paradise. But since Hell is forbidden to the unbelievers, since Paradise is forbidden; Paradise is forbidden to the unbelievers; He had cursed Satan beforehand; there would be a way to show them evil, so that they too would let their unbelief run wild. And Adam would leave Paradise and come to the world, so that everyone in the world, by their own deeds, by their actual actions, in a realm where Allah Almighty's Essence isn't seen, would prove themselves.
That's the whole program, the program.
I mean, these aren't just thoughts. Yes. You'll gather all of these, gather the verses, and answer accordingly. Ramazan.
In this case, without yet reading the verses or grasping the meanings of the verses, they gave meanings to verses (?) and wrote translations. It is not befitting our Lord to lead anyone astray, or among people to act unjustly and raise the wrong one above the right one. This is impossible. If He had been unjust, He'd have sent the first one, the Prophet, before Jesus. Or He'd have sent him before Abraham (peace be upon him). Why do I mention these two? Because among the prophets too there are ranks, it says. They too are ranked above one another. Abraham (peace be upon him), Khalilullah, he was a hanif from birth, it says.
He never fell into shirk, never worshipped idols. And Jesus is still alive, for example. He hasn't tasted death, and pearls strung, pearls. He gave him the Gospel. He's also among those Allah Almighty loves. Among the prophets, too. But He did no injustice. He sends the Prophet. The first He created, whom He taught; the worlds from his soul, from his light, the prophets, and people too, indirectly, since He created them from the Prophet's soul; the very last, the Seal of the Nabis, look, both Nabi; the last people now; the Seal of the Nabis, Muhammad (peace be upon him), He sends as a mercy to the worlds. Mercy.
Because in knowledge, in understanding, sir, in memory, in strength, he is an entirely different strength. (?) they would come to the Prophet himself. Yes.
Our Lord leads no one astray. If our Lord was going to lead Satan astray, why did He raise Satan up to be the teacher of the angels? Right? Allah Almighty is the Possessor of justice. Satan said: there's not a span of earth on earth on which I have not been in prostration to my Lord. In that case he received the title Eba Mürre. Eba, did we write it wrong here? Eba Mürre. I read it wrong. He received the title Eba Mürre. So what does this mean? Miser of worship. Yes. That is, there's no one who worships more than him. Miser of worship. Yes. At that time, of course. Now he's rising, saying Allah, anyway.
Eba Mürre means miser of worship. Though our Lord knew Satan would rebel, manifesting His justice He raised Satan up to be the teacher of the angels.
This is our Lord's justice. Then, when Satan didn't prostrate to our forefather Adam, since he rebelled against our Lord's command, He cursed him. Yet there is wisdom in this curse too.
It's all a program. I explained them. I explained it just now; the wisdom turns like this. Why did He curse him? To show people those evils; there would be one to show the right way, and there will also be one who shows the way to evil. Both will show them the way. He'll lead them after him. In the Hereafter not all people will be in Paradise. They'll be in the world. In this case he'll deceive our father Adam and our mother Eve. He'll make them come to the world. And people in the world will earn Paradise or Hell. Paradise will be the treasure only of the servants obedient to Allah. Or it will be their inheritance.
Yes. Allah will give those to them.
Yet there was wisdom in this curse too. People needed someone to guide them and light their way. These are the prophets and scholars our Lord sent with His verses and His command. For those who rebel against Allah according to people's wishes and desires, too, someone to show the way was needed. That is Satan.
That's why, what does Allah Almighty tell us? Satan is your enemy. Enemy. If you take the enemy as a friend; and Allah Almighty: beware, lest Satan your father Adam and your mother Eve, He says, strip you as he stripped them, (?); what He said, expelled from Paradise, our father Adam and our mother Eve: our Lord, who shows them to us as an example, in our time those who strip themselves stark naked and show themselves off following Satan, we see it so plainly like this. Exactly the same event. We see it now. Satan stripped them and led them off behind him. Your mother and father, your very own mother and father, were expelled from Paradise because of this.
You scoundrels, how did you fall in behind him?
It's astonishing.
You longed for the pleasures and (?) of the world, the pleasures and (?) For a moment of relaxation in the world you ran to the beaches. Let me tell you, you dreamed of palaces, you dreamed of yachts. But Paradise is above even this. You dream of something temporary in the world, and to reach it you ruin, tear down all your dignity, your honour, your chastity, your (?), your self-respect, your humanity, and for a little amusement, how did you buy the eternal abode of Hell in the Hereafter? How are you buying it? It's clear, the verses are clear.
For those who rebel against Allah, too, someone was needed to show the way. That is Satan. He's been made their guide and off they go. Yet Allah who created him shows him the way so beautifully. But from within, from lower feelings, he gets angry at Allah, and what Satan says pleases his nafs. Because, rebellious against Allah, he's tagged along behind Satan. Over people, due to rebellion against our Lord, circulating in the bloodstream, he shows the ways that will drag people to disaster. Why did our Lord grant Satan a life until the Last Day? The answer is: whatever His creatures wished for from our Lord, our Lord gives it to them in full, without turning back their requests.
Moreover, our Lord, in Surah Saba, verse 21, says this. Yet Satan has no influence at all over them, that is, over people. Only so that those who believe in the Hereafter and those who remain in doubt be separated from each other, Satan was given the chance he asked for. Your Lord truly knows everything, He says. We need to tie this part together. The answer is: whatever His creatures wished for from our Lord, our Lord gives them what they want in full, without turning it back, it says. Let's take this from one sentence back, above. These are the prophets and scholars our Lord sent with His verses and His command.
For those who rebel against Allah according to people's wishes and desires, too, someone to show the way is needed. That is Satan. Over people, due to rebellion against our Lord, in the bloodstream he circulates and shows the ways that will drag people to disasters. Why did our Lord grant Satan a life until the Last Day? It says; we need to add a sentence here. The answer is: whatever His creatures wished for from our Lord, our Lord gives them their requests without turning them back. We said it, it's right, but a word needs adding here. Because since he will show the way to the evils of the people to come until the Last Day, he was given this chance.
This sentence needs to go here. Yes. Because we skipped that part. We said it like this. We say people to come until the Last Day, but we didn't open that part. I mean, it needs opening up. Some will open it, some won't. Here they'll listen to it from, um. They'll listen from the explanations. Right?
Or when we write it again, we'll complete this part.
yes what have we said because for the ill-intentioned people rebelling against our Lord, to come until the Last Day, someone to show the way was needed. For this reason Satan was granted a life until the Last Day. Or it was appointed. Yes. Let's delete that part.
Now it's right, I think, isn't it?
Let's delete this part.
This is extra. Yes. Whatever His creatures wished for from our Lord, our Lord gives them their requests in full, without turning them back. Moreover, our Lord, in the noble verse of Surah Saba. After that, with that one verse: since He gives to everyone, and since until the Last Day people will come, Satan too is needed as one to show the way to evil, so there a life until the Last Day is appointed. We come to Surah Al-Hijr, verse 60.
We read the wrongly opened verse. But Lot's wife is excepted.
Why? Lot's wife is excepted. she was among those who stayed behind. What's the reason? We decreed that she be among those who stay behind, He says. This word is as if Allah, according to His own wish and desire, out of enmity toward the person, she too is dragged to destruction but Lot's wife is excepted, she too was among those decreed, among those decreed, she is among those who stayed behind in one narration, the angels who came to Lot, she goes to his people and tells them, his wife goes and tells them: such and such handsome people have come. At that time, (?), these had left women. With their own kind, sir, shamelessly, vilely, they would have relations.
In this case, the wrongly opened place is this, we said. We decreed that she be among those who stay behind. The correct one is: she is among those decreed, among those who stayed behind. According to her covenant. Allah Almighty calls everyone to account with His justice. Because they opened this verse wrongly like this, they constantly accused our Lord of discrimination and injustice among His servants. Our Lord does not will anyone to remain in torment. Because our Lord, who gives each person's will into their own hand, according to these people's wishes and desires, wrote people's destinies.
In this respect there is no created being that will change these destinies. Destinies don't change. Only our Lord can change destiny. Only Allah changes it. And our Lord, in a noble verse, says this. If We do not will, you cannot will.
This goes to very deep meanings.
One, if I wished, I would not give you your will, I would program you Myself. (?), I know what you are, He says.
That's the first, will. Second, I gave your will into your hand; I wrote your own wishes and deeds for you as destiny. With that will of Mine, you won't change your own self, your own destiny either, He says.
Even if the worlds united, there is none to change people's destinies. Only what is My willing, He says. A word came forth from Me too. Paradise and Hell. Then, with Us there is a book, preserved in the Preserved Tablet. Nothing will later be added to it or taken from it, He says. Accordingly We, He says, wrote and finished the work. We will no longer change anything, nor leave anything lacking or write more, He says. No. The work is done. The worlds are programmed. That's why we say until the Last Day. Look, until the Last Day Allah will not create anything again. If He were to create, since He doesn't know those who'll come until the Last Day, He'd have created new, new beings.
In this case, Allah Almighty, la gaybü illallah, since He knows the unseen, since He knows all that will come until the Last Day, He wrote it all, laid it out. Where? In His Book. What does the Prophet say? The wet and the dry are in the Quran. So if the events that will happen until the Last Day are written in the Quran; even, until the Last Day, it says, the leaves of the trees don't stir without your Lord's permission, it says. Tree leaves. I mean, think about this. I mean, not one season. Think of all the trees in the world. Think of their leaves. Think of those that open and close every year, that fall, that open, that fall.
Those to come until the Last Day, in the world. They don't stir without His permission, it says.
How can you attribute qualities to such a Lord of ours? That's why He willed what He willed. He created what He intended. Allah, who is free of deficient attributes, until the Last Day His (?) to people again, since He won't create anything, has placed more than all people's needs in the world, and has also programmed the events to come until the Last Day; no one has the power and strength to change this program.
Can you say a verse? There's a verse we always say.
You set a trap, He says. And I set a trap. But I am the best of those who set traps. He says. That is, My trap is not a separate trap for you, He says. My good trap, my (?),
my arranging. When you'd go outside your own wishes and desires, He says, or, He says, when you'd strive for the program to be broken, He says, so that you don't lose too much time, because these programs you cannot break, We put you into your own destiny, He says. That's the good trap. You'll prove what kind of person you are. Let's say my mind didn't grasp it. And I have a great rank in Allah's sight. For example, thinking it's good, I prepare a bad program to harm people. I'm going to commit a great sin. Allah raises all difficulties so I don't carry out that program, raises difficulties, gives me discouragement, puts me into His program.
Well, isn't this a good program? Isn't it a good trap? Yes.
Also our Lord says: With Me there is a book preserved in the Preserved Tablet. Nothing is added to it later, nor is anything taken away. So the worlds are programmed. Within this program it will continue until the Last Day. Here we said "will continue". Let's add the Last Day here too, shall we? It will continue until the Last Day. The worlds' program: within this program, until the Last Day, it will continue. In this case, whatever covenant each gave, people who had the script of their covenant written, by playing in the world the script they had written, like an actor, will prove what kind of person they are.
In this case, is it our Lord who decides among people? Or else, with "We decreed her to be among those who stay behind", they accuse our Lord of discrimination among His servants. The correct version of the verse is: in that case, she is among those decreed, among those who stayed behind, it says. Those who, when giving their covenant, by denying our Lord gave their covenant, prove in the world what kind of person they are and pass on to the Hereafter. Surah Al- Hijr, verse 79 we've reached; let's do this too and end our lesson. We're reading the wrong version: Surah Al- Hijr, verse 79: We took revenge on them too, it says. Yes.
here the wrongly opened place is "we took revenge".
Allah takes revenge on no one.
Allah has no need, sir, of anyone's love or evil. Everyone has a need for their own sake: to rise by their love of Allah, or to buy Hell by their evil. Now, in this case, Allah makes no distinction at all among His servants. He even loves His servants so much that, even if one is an unbeliever, in the world, Allah, who sent the Holy Quran as a mercy to the worlds, even the unbelievers; inne'd-dîne inda'llâhi'l-İslâm: with Him there is no religion but Islam; Allah Almighty, gathering the Torah, Psalms and Gospel in the Quran, inviting people to the Quran, means giving them Paradise in the Hereafter.
But earlier, in the realm of lahut, when we were created, Allah Almighty (?) those who denied; in the world too those who rebel against Allah, who don't recognize Allah, become enemies of the Quran too and burn the Holy Quran. Now there's a very important point here.
With the burning of the Quran, the Torah is burned. The Psalms are burned. The Gospel is burned too. Non-Muslim, the pope included, the pope turns a blind eye to this. He too takes revenge, supposedly. He stays silent at the burning of the Quran. Your own book is being burned too. It's in there. It's in there. What kind of pope are you? What kind of man of religion are you? You let your own book be burned along with it.
It's astonishing.
Ah, I don't believe in the Quran. If you say it's made up, what kind of pope are you that you don't know what's written in the Gospel is in the Quran?
Just as the Gospel is, yours is in the Quran. Just as the Torah is, yours is in the Quran.
The Psalms too are in the Quran. Look at the books in your hands.
In this case, those who turn a blind eye even to the burning of their own book: you explain their enmity to Allah, and what their place is; which of the two ways it will be, you think about it.
yes something came here shall we do this, the period, it says let's remove it here
we took revenge on them too, it says: both of them, Al-Aykah and Madyan, were on an open road. They took revenge on their own selves. Both of them, Al-Aykah and Madyan, are on an open road so the people, the people who will go to Hell; Hodja, are you going to Paradise, then, implying you're of the people of Paradise and insulting us? If you say so: I'm saying it to myself too, to myself, to my own nafs too: the people who will go to Hell are people who act outside Allah's command. Who knows, though I'm explaining today, that I won't change tomorrow? That's why we must always remain obedient to Allah, on the straight path, finish the straight path, so that we attain salvation.
For us to finish that straight path attaining salvation, the Book Allah sent us, we must stand up for it. All humanity, the whole world must stand up for the Quran.
Yes. Otherwise, one of two ways: one the way to Paradise, one the way to Hell. The non-Muslim too knows the way to Hell today. He too, by his own reasoning, knows he'll go to Paradise. Let the universe know this: inne'd-dîne inda'llâhi'l-İslâm. One who does not enter Islam, does not say the testimony of faith, who is not Muslim in heart, that person is for Hell eternally. This the universe must know like this. Yes. If a person seeks Paradise, if he wants to go to Paradise, there's no compulsion. Let him read the (?) book. Let him read the Quran too. The Owner of the worlds is one. One Allah. He has neither a child, nor a wife, nor a spouse, nor an equal.
He is the Knower of the worlds, (?), the absolute Owner of the universe. So leaving such a God, such a Lord, such a Creator, and with made-up words: He has a wife, He has children, Jesus is His son. Come on, Jesus is a prophet too. What does it say? It is just like the creation of our forefather Adam, it says. He was created from clay. As for the soul, there is Allah's spirit in all of us. In all of us, in the people of the universe. And he too; we are all a part from our Lord. So if this part denies the whole, his place is Hell. The second way is the way to Hell.
Yes.
The wrongly opened place in this verse is this. We took revenge on them too. The correct one: they too took revenge on their own selves. So people: of these two ways, those who go the way of Hell will take revenge on their own selves. Whoever kept the word of the Owner of these worlds will live forever, in an endless life of peace. Deathless. Because souls are deathless. And the people of Hell there, it says, neither live nor die. They'll cry out for destruction, but there's no destruction again. They'll drink boiling water, burn in fires. Allah says it, I'm not saying it. The verses are like that. This is in their own books too.
In this case, a person must use his mind. He must examine the truth, research it. He must research the books. for your living in the world, to live the best living, you find where money best comes from and turn toward it; for the finest life of your eternal life, why don't you examine your Lord's commands? Allah gave you a mind. Because you don't use your minds, I will call you to account, He says.
Yes, Allah Almighty takes revenge on no one. Our Lord; time is passing, let's read this and finish.
Our Lord isn't helpless that He would (?) at people, take revenge on them. When people overstep Allah's limits on earth, so that those coming from behind, from the realm of barzakh, don't have their morals corrupted, and so they aren't bad examples for them, our Lord, again as mercy to people: people who overstep Allah's limits, who already gave their covenants as deniers, because of the evils and rebellions they did in the world, by being subjected to our Lord's destruction, because of these deeds, as such peoples were destroyed, they took revenge on their own selves, in effect. So those who constantly attribute to Allah Almighty and make Him seem helpless when opening verse translations, falling into great error like this, falling into error, opened the verses and made the verses contradict one another.
Stay well. May Allah protect you. Lillahi Teâlâ. Al-Fatiha.
Amen.
