Translation

And if Shaytan should give you evil suggestions, seek refuge in Allah. Allah is Samee (All-Hearing) and Aleem (All-Knowing).

Tafsir

Our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who came as a mercy to the worlds, says in one of his hadiths: "I have bound my Satan". This hadith means: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was a living example of the morals of Allah (swt) and the Shari'ah rulings and morals that Allah (swt) had ordained in the Holy Qur'an. Therefore, Satan cannot dare to approach the Prophet (SAW). It is in the art of speech and the subtlety of addressing people that Allah (swt) addresses all people as if He is addressing the Prophet (s.a.w.). If Satan pokes you, that is, if he gives you mischief and evil inclination in your hearts, seek refuge in Allah. Even if the shaytan pokes the Prophet (s.a.w.), since he is ruled by the Verses, the shaytan's poking will be struck and canceled by the Verses that are firmly established in his heart. Since he has been brought up in the upbringing of Allah, the temptations of the devil are ignorant and ineffective.

Since the verse is for the general public, it is sufficient for people who are tempted by Satan to remember Allah (swt) and seek refuge in Him. Because Allah is the owner of His creation and the helper of those who believe and have faith. Whoever seeks help from Allah (swt), Allah (swt) promises in this verse that He will help His servants. He promises them His help by saying, "Take refuge in Allah, for He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

What is said in the video

Yes.

To verse 200 of Surah Al-A'raf we have come. In the verse it says: if an incitement of Satan prods you, at once seek refuge in Allah. For He is the Hearing, it says, the Knowing. For Satan to prod the Prophet (peace be upon him) is not possible. In a hadith the Prophet says: I have bound my Satan. What does it mean that he is bound? Under the rule of the verses, sir, his every word within the frame of the verses, and his being shaped by the morals of Allah — in that case the temptation Satan would give him is ignorant, so it is not possible for Satan to prod him. But if we look closely at this verse too: whichever prophet We set out to give revelation to, it says, Satan sets out to give him a temptation.

But they interpret that part wrongly; we (?) that part. We, it says, remove the temptation of Satan, then We set down the revelation, it says. Satan will at once make his claim. So would he then have interfered with that person's will this time? Whereas We, it says, set the verses down firmly. We set them down firmly. And the temptation his Satan would give is removed in that person's heart, it says. That is, according to Allah Almighty's verse 'truth has come, falsehood has vanished,' when He sets the truth, that is the verse, into that person's heart, engraves it there, the temptation his Satan would give is removed in that person's heart; it becomes ignorant.

So the Prophet saying in this hadith, 'and I have bound my Satan' — that saying — means his being governed by all the verses, his being shaped by the morals of Allah Almighty, and that Satan cannot tempt him, cannot prod him; Satan even flees from him. It says: if only you and I were left in the world, it says, (?) to bury you I would keep away from you, it says. Yes.

In this case, in this case Allah Almighty's speech is figurative; we said that sometimes He speaks literally, sometimes by bringing comparisons. By saying it to the Prophet, here it is in fact addressed to all people. This is how we will understand it, as for people. Not to the Prophet; by saying it to him, in the language of speech, to people in a gentle language of speech, to all people, to people still to come — that is His speech. Yes. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who came as a mercy to the worlds, says in one of his hadiths: I have bound my Satan. What is meant by this hadith: the Prophet, shaped by the morals of Allah Almighty, (peace be upon him), was a living example of the sharia ruling that Allah Almighty decreed in the Holy Quran and of morality.

The Prophet. A living example of both the sharia and morality. According to the verse in which He says: I sent you to complete good morals. Yes, so Satan, to approach the Prophet (peace be upon him), cannot show the daring. Within Allah Almighty's art of speech and subtlety in addressing people, as if He were addressing the Prophet (peace be upon him), it is His addressing all people. If Satan prods you, that is, if he gives one of you whispers and evil temptations in the heart, if he sets out to give your hearts evil temptations and whispers, seek refuge in Allah, He says. Yes, the meaning here — some people give an example, and it is a very fine example.

When a dog attacks a person, it says, rather than wrestling with it, it is better to seek refuge with its owner, it says. How well it is said. When a dog attacks a person, why would you wrestle with the dog? Take refuge with its owner. The dog stays where it is. It does you no harm. So: if an incitement of Satan prods you, at once seek refuge in Allah. For He is the Hearing, the Knowing, it says. Yes. Even if Satan tempted the Seal of the Prophets (peace be upon him), since he is governed by the verses and was raised under Allah's training, Satan's temptation is ignorant and ineffective for him.

So here again, quite strongly, that Allah Almighty, by addressing the Prophet, is in fact addressing all people — we have tried to stress this again. Since the verse is general, against the temptation Satan gives, it is enough for people to remember Allah Almighty and seek refuge in Him. What will one say? One will seek refuge in Allah like that, from the evil of Satan. For Allah is the owner of His creatures, the helper of those who believe and have faith. Whoever (?) help from Allah — that He will help those servants of His, Allah Almighty promises in this verse. Yes, what does it say? He truly gives His word in this verse.

If an incitement of Satan prods you, at once seek refuge in Allah, for He is the Hearing, the Knowing. So since his owner too, the owner of the accursed one, is Allah, you, it says, seek refuge in Allah at once. According to the verse 'Who is more true to His word than Allah?', in this verse too, if you seek refuge in Allah against Satan's incitement, the owner of the worlds, Allah Almighty, promises to be your helper. Yes. By saying 'Seek refuge in Allah, for He is the Hearing, the Knowing,' He promises them His help, promises it to people.
