What is said in the video
Yes. Yes.
If we tilt this down a bit more, okay. It's bringing it. We'll hold its ball too. Let's put it here like this. And this one like this.
Shall I put it like this, Hodja? Yes.
Question where are the questions? How many questions are there? Someone has written an epic here.
There are nine things, Hodja. There are questions. Nine questions, Hodja. Nine questions, Hodja. Nine. And two of them are long, Hodja. Where does this start? It starts with the one at three, Hodja. This, Hodja, it starts from here. It starts from here? Yes, Hodja. This thing. Or from further up? No, Hodja. We answered the one above.
That's how I understood the English. We probably did this part. It starts from here, Hodja. Sit down, let's see. Let's close this from here. Where do we close this? There's no restoring it.
And this just popped up too. Go a bit towards that side, Hodja. It closes on this side. It doesn't come to this side.
Shall we press this, Hodja? It says this is restored; then it'll probably be a mess. No, it doesn't come. Click on this one down here, Hodja. On this one? Click once more, Hodja. Here, Hodja. This one? The one on the left. One more, Hodja. No. The round one, Hodja.
What's this?
We went up, Hodja. Let's go down a bit. Down, Hodja, down. It's further down. It's further down, Hodja. A bit more, Hodja. Let's start from here. Yes, this is it.
No, the thing, a moment ago it was talking about the Prophet. At the place you showed a moment ago.
This is it, Hodja.
Yes, Hodja, this is it. We answered this one, Hodja. It starts from here. Peace be upon you. Good evening.
We have a question.
When a person is in that state, from every cell of his body instantly, what is this, this is getting mixed up, it's gone.
It reached the end.
What is this here?
The antivirus program.
When a person is in that state, from every cell of his body, look, it goes back and forth by itself, they're sending things they should probably ask their questions later. All right, Hodja, I'm writing now.
They keep asking questions, and what is to be read gets lost.
When a person is in that state, from every cell of his body instantly, like an overloaded machine, all at once from his whole body impurities come out.
that is how I understood it, that they come out. Sir, here I wanted to understand this. When we make the intention and take the ghusl, we become cleansed both in body and spiritually, that is how I understood it.
Sir, both from the body and spiritually we become cleansed, that is how I understood it. But I know that when unbelievers are in that state and wash, since they make no intention, their ghusl is not valid. How does their cleansing happen, spiritually or bodily?
She has a question up to here. Let's explain this part. When a person is in the state of janabah, that is, when he ejaculates, from all the cells of his body, from those pores, from the pores of the skin, impurities come out. That is why it says: if even a spot the size of a needle's tip stays dry on you, since impurity has remained on your body, you are not cleansed, it says. This is the first point. And what do we do? We wash completely. Then what do we say? We intend to cleanse our body. Is that right?
Here the intention is also a condition. When you make the intention, what do you do? You put water in your mouth three times. You say madmada. Madmada. What does it mean? I repent of the sins I committed with my mouth. That is, you are making repentance and asking forgiveness. And when you put water in your nose three times, what do you say this time? Istinshaq. The Prophet tells his Companions: don't forget to say istinshaq. You will say istinshaq, he says. And what does this mean? If you smelled forbidden things with your nose, or if you fell into a sin; how does a person sin with his nose? A woman wearing perfume passes by you.
and when her scent reaches your nose, you desire it, for example. That too leads a person into sin. In that case you say: I repent of the sins I committed with my nose too, you say. Then, as in normal ablution, three times your face, your elbows, right and left, you wipe your head, and after wiping your ears and your nape nicely, you wash your feet, you recite no verse, and you are cleansed. Now let's come to the unbeliever. The unbeliever washes too. But he does not make the intention as you do. He has no intention. When he has no intention, for what he committed with his mouth and with his nose, for the sins, saying "I don't need you", Allah said: I have no need of your cleansing either, He says.
I will call you to account, He says. His janabah does not go away; they go about in janabah. That is why they are impure.
Impure. In that case, whoever envies the unbeliever, he is like them, according to the verse. Those who get tattoos on their bodies also go about in janabah, they too are impure. But from what I have heard, the fatwa- issuing, the official fatwa-issuing place says there is no harm in tattoos, so it reaches my ears, and that such a fatwa is given, I those people giving such a fatwa, I can never comprehend. That is, they would not give it; a knowledgeable person would not give that fatwa. Because under that tattoo those impurities remain, and all kinds of ailment and filth and disease come from the unbelievers anyway, from the non-Muslims they come.
See, they keep sending things, now it got lost. Now go and find that place again. Go and find it. I sent the last one, Hodja. Did you send it? You gave a warning, Hodja, I wrote that. I see.
Look, that place...
Probably here. Here, Hodja. We explained it to her up to here. And also, sir, this cleansing, those who cannot be cleansed because of their deeds, their smelling because of their deeds of cleansing, and as a result, with deodorant and harmful scent products, their harm to the world, can you explain? May Allah be pleased with you, sir, she says.
What she means is (?) that people use, those perfumes that women use. Allah Almighty says in the verse: We create what We create firmly. Firmly. But you will spoil it with your own hands, He says. What does this mean?
In the heavens the ozone layer has been torn. The reason the ozone layer is torn is that the gases in perfumes and deodorants damage the ozone layer and tear it.
People who use such perfumes to get rid of these smells, these bad smells, in the air, when the ozone layer of the atmosphere is torn, the sun's ultraviolet rays erase the magnetism at the North Pole. The erasing of the North Pole's magnetism means that the earth turns around its own axis short by some seconds.
And in the verse Allah Almighty when the sun sets in the west, when the mountains pass like clouds, when they pass, when the sea swells, when the sky flows like molten metal: it is heading towards the event He speaks of it is heading. How? By the magnetism at the South Pole pushing the North Pole, with the excess of the North Pole's magnetism, by the South Pole's pushing, the earth will turn the other way. It turns the opposite way of (?). Every year one second, one second, two seconds short in the earth turning around its own axis, and by that a time will come when the South Pole's magnetism and the North Pole's magnetism will be equal.
The sun will set in the west. When the earth starts to turn the other way again, the sun will have risen from the west. And because the balance is broken, by the South Pole constantly pushing the North Pole, the earth around its own axis will start to turn. It will start to turn fast. So, until years pass like months, months like days, like weeks, weeks like days, days like hours, the world's Hour will not come. What happens now? When the North Pole's magnetism decreases while the South Pole's stays constant, when the South Pole's (?) constantly pushes the North Pole, the acceleration increases.
The mountains begin to pass like clouds. Then, when years become like months, months like weeks, because of the earth turning around its own axis, because of the centrifugal force, the earth will explode. So Allah Almighty says: when the seas swell; how do they swell? The earth has a magma layer, a layer of fire. This fire layer, between the seas, when (?), of course the seas will swell. Then, when the sky flows like molten metal, He says; the balance is already broken, the Hour will have come.
So those impure ones using perfume, to get rid of their smell, that bad smell, themselves, depending on the intention, of course. To market herself to someone else, this one who goes about uncovered, head and backside on display, who does not know herself, this human whom Allah Almighty created honourable, not knowing herself, this human created as the noblest of creatures, the verse that says they are like the four-legged ones walking the earth, matching it, and even the people He calls even more astray; their spoiling this world with their own hands, and taking on the burden of so many people too.
Now you have probably understood the burden of those who use them. Yes.
One more question.
She said: peace be upon you, sir. In Surah Al-Waqi'ah our Lord says: when the soul reaches the throat. A question came to my mind. At that time, where does the soul begin to leave from? That question came to my mind.
Iza balaghati'l-hulqum. When the soul reaches the throat, wa antum hina'idhin tanzurun. Come on, turn it back then, He says.
When the soul begins to leave, it leaves starting from the feet. It begins to withdraw from the tips of the toes. That is, spirit, nafs and soul are all one. Our bodies are separate. Our spirit, which covers every particle of our body like a spider's web, begins to withdraw from the tips of the feet. Some people even, to see whether he is dying, stick a pin into his foot. If the person feels nothing, it means the soul is leaving. Isn't it? Yes. In this situation Allah Almighty again gives him a chance. Now you are dying, He says.
To the One who first created you, you are being returned to the One who first created you. At least repent, He says. Until the soul reaches the throat. That is, by one narration, up to here at the hip. And by another narration, until it reaches this tailbone. But I say: until it reaches here, the hip. Because women do not have this tailbone. The word is general. Women are the same. It cannot be up to here for a man and up to here for a woman. In this case, when the soul reaches here, to you, from your childhood up to this time, (?). It is shown within seconds. Time within time, this is it.
The moment that realm begins to be shown, the door of repentance has closed. That happens when the soul reaches the throat.
Yes. Wa ashabu'l-maymanati ma ashabu'l-maymanah: if the one who dies is of the people of the right, he has gotten off free. The angels charged with it take his soul gently. If he was of wa ashabu'l-mash'amati ma ashabu'l-mash'amah, if he was of the people of the left, the people of the left, what a pity, what a woeful place they are in, the people of the left. Now the angels, striking them on their faces, on their faces, on their backs, on their backs, take their souls. I am not saying it. Allah says this in the verse. Yes.
This is also the wisdom of the soul reaching the throat. We come further down. Peace be upon you, Hodja. Can women read the Quran in their hearts while menstruating? I kiss your blessed hands. She can read it in her heart. But she can neither perform worship nor hold the Quran nor pray the prayer. Let those who are clean hold the Quran, it says. By "clean", these people also mean the ablution for prayer. And I say that you can hold the Quran without the ablution for prayer. Because you are free of janabah, you are clean. But when you are to stand before your Lord, that is, (?) when you are to go, you take ablution.
You are in ablution. When reciting Allah's word, when reciting the Quran you also take ablution. Because there you will be reciting Allah's word. You will be reciting the Quran. But if you are moving the Quran from one place to another without reading it, this does not need ablution, the ablution for prayer. Yes. Peace be upon you, Hodja, she says. And upon you be peace. Yes, she asked about women's menstruation. We've come to here. I have one more question. I want to forget the injustices done to me in the past. How can I free myself from these thoughts in my heart? May Allah be pleased with you, Hodja. That depends on your faith.
If your faith is strong, you will be freed of it. Because all of us, all human beings together, were created as spirits in the realm of lahut created. Our true, original homeland is the realm of the hereafter. We entered our bodies later. When Allah Almighty created Adam (peace be upon him) from earth: when I breathe into you from My spirit, He says; He does not say He will breathe from a spirit. Look: when I breathe from My spirit; this too is a deep meaning. You will prostrate to him, He says. Now in this case there is such a thing, there is.
In this case, if we are all of the right, wa ashabu'l-maymanati ma ashabu'l- maymanah, if we are of the right, if we accept them as our brothers too, but that person who does you injustice keeps doing you injustice, if he does injustice, of course you will have anger towards him. You will have anger, you will have hurt. And you don't have the patience of Job either. What do you do? You entrust it to Allah. You say: my Creator, the Creator of the worlds, and his Creator too, is Allah. There is no living being moving on earth of which We do not know where and what it will do, He says. Where and what it will do, We know.
In this case you entrust it to Allah. Allah is the One who sees best, who hears best. Here, since Allah is the Judge of judges, Alaysallahu bi-ahkami'l-hakimin, when you have entrusted your matter to the Judge, you await the Judge's decision. You no longer deal with the one who betrayed you in the past. How good. Isn't it so? Yes. But here is a piece of advice from me to you. If you have suffered injustice in the past, within that injustice, if you always forgive people what they owe you, your rank rises. And Allah gives him both his worldly and his otherworldly punishment.
And your rank rises too. You do that too.
Peace be upon you, sir. Before marriage and also after, how far does a woman have the right to go about on her own, to which places, to whom? Could you explain? May Allah be pleased with you, sir. Let me explain.
If a woman has a child, a brother, a son, they go to do her shopping. A woman may go to her paternal aunt, her maternal aunt, her sibling, her maternal uncle, her paternal uncle, her husband's sons.
If she needs to go to the market alone, she goes out. A woman in need, with small children, a woman left widowed like that, goes and works. That is her right. She will work and raise her children. There is permission for this. With propriety, of course.
Apart from this, a woman cannot go out to the market just to stroll. She cannot go to a pastry shop or any place of entertainment alone. If she goes, what happens? Today's situations happen. Someone follows her. When he does, there is quarrelling with him. Either she likes it and commits adultery. Or, let me say, she runs from the man, and the man kills. In this way, those who act outside Allah's command are struck by calamity. Why does Allah Almighty say: dress in a way that does not reveal your figure? Today, even if she walked about naked, people would not stop and stare that much, but a person who dresses so tightly that her private parts show and her whole body is put on display, her walking about outside is transgressing the limits of Allah Almighty. Today, Allah Almighty gave destruction to the peoples who transgressed the limits.
The Prophet, who came as a mercy to the worlds, accordingly, accordingly, Allah Almighty has lifted the destructions and gives calamities. At the same time, in a verse Allah Almighty says: We give the non-Muslims three or two calamities a year. Just as they help one another, if only they had asked help from Me too, He says. Exactly. Now we have envied them. Perhaps we have even surpassed their way of living. Don't go by his saying "I am a Muslim"; that has been lost on the tongue. In this case, Allah Almighty, Alaysallahu bi-ahkami'l-hakimin. The Judge of judges. He will give the unbeliever this calamity, and you will do more than what he did.
He will say: these are Muslims, I love them. And He will not give you calamity. This does not fit Allah's justice. On earth all people are equal. They will be called to account for what they did. Fa man ya'mal mithqala dharratin khayran yarah. Wa man ya'mal mithqala dharratin sharran yarah. If an atom's weight of good is to be recorded, if an atom's weight of evil is to be recorded, all people, if it is so for all people, He will not single out the unbeliever and pass over the Muslim. Today rains like floods, earthquakes, constantly, everywhere. Volcanoes have erupted.
Women stark naked (?). We have gone outside Allah's command. Will Allah Almighty hold you apart from the unbeliever? Of course He will give these calamities. And just as we help one another, as He commands in the verse, if we say Allah, what (?) by saying Allah? We do say Allah, Hodja. No, you will say it, but when you say Allah, you will fear Allah and enter within Allah's command. You will cover your head. You will cover your head and backside, you will wear loose clothes, you will protect yourself. Covering your heads, He says, wearing loose clothes is more suited to your not being harmed, He says.
No, He says it; Allah Almighty says it.
Well, if you are harmed too, if they take you to forests and kill you, and to those who kill, I am not saying "you did well". Allah has laws. Nor does He say to you: go and kill him too. But here she provoked the man with carnal feelings. Instead of punishing that man, why do you give the woman who provoked him, who did not die but was wounded, no punishment at all?
Come on, there is provocation here.
There are many gaps in the law, you know. In this case, what we must do is to obey the laws of whatever state you live in. What does the state say? You cannot harass a woman. All right. You cannot kill a woman. Allah says so too anyway. Saving one life is like saving all lives. That is, evil: first prevent it with your hand. Well, if you couldn't prevent it with your hand, prevent it with your tongue. If you couldn't prevent it with your tongue either, you (?), and move on. And if the woman is doing evil, you divorce her, and that's that.
Exactly: a woman is like the dirt on a man's hand. If you wash it with soap, the dirt on your hand goes. You divorced her? May Allah grant you well-being.
Yes. That is why women must know very well the places they will go to. Today women hold meetings with one another. Do you know what topic they talk about? We cheat on our husbands. They say this. I am not saying it. They say it on television. We cheat on our husbands, she says. And the woman who joins them follows them. She starts too. Morals have broken down completely. And then: "I am a Muslim". What kind of Muslim? Islam has remained on the tongue. People who do not know the meaning of the testimony of faith. No prayer, no fasting, no zakat, no hajj. Even hostile to religion. What do they say?
Those whose Islam is lived, they call them reactionaries. Our lesson now is not to explain reaction; let this much suffice. Here again a question came. This place got lost. This place got lost.
What's here?
These parts are that. To the thing about the Prophet, we've come to that, Hodja. Hm? The one about the Prophet... Wait, let's see. ...we've come to that question. She's talking about inheritance. The inheritance one came last. They can't find the other one. It was on the sixth of the month, Hodja. Not here. There are many questions here too. Let's go up a bit more, Hodja. Let's go up a bit more. A bit more, Hodja. A bit more. Okay. Not here. There are many questions here too. Let's go up a bit more, Hodja. A bit more, Hodja. We explained this. No, Hodja. We didn't explain it, Hodja. This part. We explained this, Hodja.
Sir, she says. Since the verses addressed to the Prophet (peace be upon him) are for all, for the matter of their being obligatory for us, in my mind, even if it is said to him, regarding the verses covering everyone, not many verses came to my mind; can you explain with verses? What is she saying here? I didn't understand anything. Wait, let me read it once more. Understanding the question is not much. You can't explain something just as you please. You will give the answer to the question. Sir, since the verses addressed to the Prophet (peace be upon him) are for all, their being obligatory (wajib) for us.
Not wajib, fard. Fard, fard. What does wajib mean?
Outside the fard. The verse came to the worlds. This is a verse. You cannot call a verse wajib; if you go outside the verse, you become an unbeliever. If you deliberately deny a verse, you become an unbeliever, deliberately. But I know, you say wajib; perhaps you couldn't say fard; let's take what you said as fard too. For the matter of its being wajib, that is, for the matter of its being fard, let's say: in my mind, even if it is said to him, in my mind, even if it is said to him, whom does she mean? In my mind. Even if it was said addressing the Prophet, regarding the verses covering everyone, not many verses came to mind, she says, Hodja.
Even if said addressing the Prophet, covering everyone, through him, covering all, not many verses came to my mind, she says, Hodja. A verse covering everyone didn't come to my mind. Yes. That is, is there a verse addressed to the Prophet but also addressed to everyone? verse? What was said to the Prophet, then? For example, Hodja, some verses, in the verses where the address is directly to the Prophet, she is talking about those verses. Wait, let's read it once more. Said addressing the Prophet, since the verses are for all, their being fard for us, we call it. For the matter of its being fard, in my mind, even if it is said to him, even if it is said to the Prophet, regarding these verses covering everyone not many verses came to my mind.
Can you explain with verses? Up to here, as far as I understand, the Quran came to all the worlds. The Quran. On the 27th night of the month of Ramadan, at a place called the Night of Qadr, at Sidrat al-Muntaha, He sent the Quran down to a place called Qadr. Allah Almighty sent down the Quran Himself. And if it is said that it did not come to the worlds, or came incomplete, or that there is no verse about this, you go so far as to deny that the Quran was sent down by Allah, that it was sent down on the Night of Qadr. This is the first point. Second: We sent down the Quran, and its guardian is Us. Its guardian. In the Quran not one letter will be damaged nor distorted, He says. So the Quran came down to all people, to the world. Some say the Quran came down to Muslims.
No. The Quran came down to the world. He said: the religion in Allah's sight is Islam. That is, He gathered the Torah, the Psalms, the Gospel in the Quran, and addressing all people, He sent down the Quran. In this case: with Us there is a book, preserved in the Preserved Tablet. When Allah Almighty says nothing will be added to it later nor anything taken away, He has programmed these worlds until the Day of Judgement. Nothing added to it, that is, "it would have been better if this were there too"; We programmed all the worlds in the best way. There is nothing better than this. Nor anything taken away, that is, "I made too much, this one is extra"; there is no deficiency, He says. Within Allah Almighty's knowledge, that He has an infinite memory, that He has it.
Now, in this case, could there be a better proof of the verses coming down to the earth than this? How do we understand that it came down to the Prophet? That is, how do we understand that he made it known to us? If any question comes to your mind, like "who made it known to him in the first place", Allah Almighty in the verse says: We will reveal to you, and you will never forget. We will reveal to you. And in another verse: while We are revealing to you, let not Satan try to whisper temptation into your heart. They interpret that wrongly. We will say what is right. We set Our revelation firmly in your heart.
The temptation Satan gives strikes against it and is cancelled. This is in fact the meaning of the word in this verse. For My servant who knows Me, Satan's temptation is (?), He says. So he knows the verses well. In this case, in addition, He has Gabriel (peace be upon him) take from Sidrat al-Muntaha the verses He revealed to the heart of the Prophet, the surah, from there. He would recite it to the Prophet (peace be upon him). And the Prophet says: I loved Jibril's recitation very much, he says. So, from there, from the Preserved Tablet, descending on the Night of Qadr, the Quran, by Allah Almighty's command, by having the surah He revealed to the Prophet's heart recited to the Prophet, those so-called scholars, those imitations say Gabriel taught the Prophet.
Shame on them. Truly, shame on them. And it is written like this in the Quran too, in its commentary. The one who says this comes to my mind as an outright enemy of Islam. Because "He educated me", Allah educated well. Allah Himself taught the Prophet. Where did Gabriel come from, that he told him this and taught him? Who sent down the verse? In fact, Allah Almighty says this to the Prophet in the Quran. You were hoping that this book would be given to you, weren't you, He says. He knows the Quran from the realm of the hereafter. Now, in this case, Gabriel is an angel. Angels are created from light.
If you define Gabriel as Allah too, by what knowledge of yours are we to believe in the verses of the Quran?
Yes.
That's how it is. Sir, in this case, if this is an answer for us, according to this, in other cases, in things addressed to believing women or believing men, being obligatory for the woman and man who are not believers, does it mean that not doing it makes them sinners? What? Hodja, now for example some verses begin with "O My Messenger". There are verses that begin "O My Beloved", Hodja. Yes. Verses said addressing the Prophet. Some of the rulings inside these verses: were they said directly to the Prophet, or were they said to everyone, in that sense. She's saying that. She's asking that. Yes, Hodja.
Now, the verses of the Quran, at the very start, let's cut it short, make it brief. A lot of time has passed.
If the verse of the Quran came down to the worlds, if with these verses, with these verses, our Lord wants us to be bound by rulings, if the Prophet is Allah's messenger, and if no prophet invites people to himself, every word said to the Prophet was said to the people. It is that simple. Is there anything else you were saying there? Hodja, also, believer and Muslim are not the same, Hodja. Now, the things said addressing the believers, the things they must do, the acts of worship: are they also valid for Muslims? Must they do them? Is it obligatory for them, she asks? The believers have passed through nafs al-ammara, nafs al-lawwama, nafs al-mulhima, and risen to nafs al-mutmainna risen.
Allah Almighty, in verses 27, 28, 29 and 30 of Surah Al-Fajr: O soul at rest, enter, well pleased with your Lord and He with you, enter among My servants, enter My Paradise: the people He speaks of. These are people bound by Allah's sharia rulings, people with no turning back. What does Allah Almighty say? Cover your head. Isn't it? If she covers her head; He says this to all Muslims. But people who do not cover their heads become sinners. Sinners.
The believer wears loose clothes.
The Muslim wears tight clothes. He too becomes a sinner. Because the figure shows. In this case the believer lives his life within Allah's sharia rulings lives. The Muslim does some of it and does not do some. And accordingly there are nafs al-ammara, nafs al-lawwama, nafs al-mulhima, nafs al-mutmainna, nafs al-radiya, nafs al-mardiyya, nafs al-safiya. Nafs al-ammara also says "I am a Muslim". It neither prays, nor fasts, nor gives zakat, nor goes on hajj. When it comes to talking: "look at my heart, my heart; it keeps my heart clean". With its own talk it throws itself into the middle of Paradise.
Nafs al-ammara. Nafs al-lawwama prays and fasts. If it has money, it goes on hajj and gives zakat. This too has two faces. If it envies nafs al-ammara, it falls to nafs al-ammara. But if it turns to taqwa, it rises to nafs al-mulhima. Nafs al-mulhima is the door of miracles. Some stay there. He thinks himself a great saint. And some slip there and go as an unbeliever. Or he may fall even further back. But when he rises there to nafs al-mutmainna, he becomes aware of the manifestations, so that from now on there is no turning back, says Allah Almighty. He now knows Me as he sees you. And in a verse He says this about the scholars.
The angels and the scholars bear witness that there is no god but Allah bear witness. Who is this? Nafs al-radiya and nafs al-mardiyya. That is, the qutb al-azam. Nafs al-radiya is the one in the state of ilm al-yaqin. This verse is for nafs al-safiya. When I created these worlds, I did not take (?) as witness to Myself: the person called (?), who has grasped the secret of secrets, who (?) from the religion. Is there another question? Hodja, there's also something similar about prayer, Hodja, she asks. About prayer. The same thing, Hodja. She asks about prayer. She asks about prayer. Yes. About prayer, Hodja.
Let me see, let me read it here, let me see.
Sir, also, a friend of mine said something like this. After the prayers I pray my old missed prayers, my missed prayers, after them. But she says: I don't pray the sunnah, saying it is qada. She does a good thing. Sunnahs are not made up.
One of the Bedouins comes to the Prophet (peace be upon him). How many times of prayer did Allah Almighty send down, he asks? He sent down five times, he says. Of these prayers, how many are fard? That is, how many rak'ahs are the fard, he asks. Morning two, noon four, afternoon four, evening three, night four. And there is also the witr, which is wajib, he says. If I pray these but don't pray their sunnahs, he says, will I enter Paradise? If you pray these and your rewards are more than your sins, I will vouch for you entering Paradise, he says. There is no making up of the sunnah. She is doing right.
Yes. Hodja, now there is also this here.
Hodja, peace be upon you. And upon you be peace. I had a question. Buying Israeli products. This is probably old, we explained these parts. Israeli products, she says. It's new, Hodja. New? Is buying their products a sin? Is it rewarded? Because in Islam there are things like obstructing trade and so on there are. Could you inform me? she says. Now, if your need is a product produced by Israel or a non-Muslim, it needn't be Israel, a non-Muslim, you buy it. Because it is your need, and the Turks cannot produce it, that is, our state cannot produce it. But if our state does produce it and you go and buy the non-Muslim's product, the money given for that non-Muslim's product comes back to you as a weapon.
And that is how it is. In this case, the non-Muslim's products, more or less ours, they produce. For example Coca-Cola; this Coca-Cola is harmful to the human body. Take Coca-Cola, boil it over fire; it burns, and tar remains at the bottom. These are all things that ruin human health. In them there are substances that damage masculinity. Most people, and indeed most men, are eunuchs anyway.
That is why eating out like this, and such products, (?), buying the products is harmful from the point of view of taqwa harmful. But our religion does not tell you not to trade with non-Muslims. Because in the Prophet's time too they lived closely with the Jews and traded with them. Yes.
Hodja, peace be upon you. What should someone who wants to raise his rank do?
If he wants to raise his rank, he must observe Allah's sharia rulings very closely. And he must also understand this couplet of Kuddusi Baba, his beautiful couplet. He must enter a tariqa. The teachers outside cannot bring you to your rank if your rank is high. What does Kuddusi Baba say? Don't ask about the knowledge of the tariqa from the hadith scholar, from the madrasa teacher. Ask about the knowledge of the tariqa from the one who takes his lesson from God Himself. If you say you are a diver, ask the one who has taken this ocean.
And you, in verse 172 of Surah Al-A'raf, when you made the agreement with your Lord, if your rank is high, you will find that rank. If your rank is low, you may envy as much as you like; still, like a bucket with a hole in the bottom, you fill (?) from the top and empty it from the bottom.
Hodja, she also asks: is there any sin in celebrating New Year?
New Year is not our New Year. Our New Year is the Hijri New Year. It is the Prophet's (peace be upon him) emigration from Makkah al-Mukarramah to Madinah al-Munawwarah. This is our New Year. Those who, calling it New Year, celebrate the so-called birth of Jesus. Actually, some say Jesus was born on the 21st of December, some on the 23rd. Jesus was not born on New Year. And they also had something that comes round at New Year. It hands out gifts. What did they call it? Father Christmas. Their Father Christmas. Children, he hands out gifts. (?) what does he do? That is, once a year, Allah or in the sense of Jesus, he supposedly (?) people or children.
Whoever he visits, he supposedly hands out good luck. When he visits a home. These are all inventions of unbelief, of unbelief. We made a covenant with Allah in the realm of the hereafter. Allah Almighty, who wrote our wishes as a script: in this world whether we will be rich or poor, at what time we will meet what calamity, at what time Allah will show us mercy, at what time we will die; this is written in our destiny. We do not know it. Neither will Ahmet's saying raise you, nor will Mehmet's saying raise you. It happens only through Allah's verses. It rests on Allah. If you ask of Allah, according to your rank Allah raises you.
If your rank is low, if it is low, you will still go head over heels. Like whom? Like the accursed one. Like Satan. Satan says: there is not a span of earth on which I have not (?) in prostration, in prostration to the Rahman. They call him Abu Murrah. That is, a miser of worship. The angels admire him; he becomes their teacher. Then this accursed one, who had worshipped so much, opposes Allah's command; he does not prostrate to Adam as He told him, he plays a game of logic. He says: You created me from fire and him from mud. Fire cleans mud, mud does not clean fire; I will not prostrate, he says.
Then get down from there, He says. That greatness does not suit you there. He curses him there. So it is the covenant (?). It is that covenant. It is that covenant. Verse 172 of Surah Al-A'raf. Where is this? Alastu bi-rabbikum (?). But people do not know this. Because they don't know it, they ask questions like this. These are all about destiny.
Yes. And no one can speak about destiny. And no one can say: if you take this path you will rise like this. But look at the deviants. Look, I am saying deviant outright. People unaware of the verse, if they say of Allah's verses that Allah said them when He did not, let them prepare their place in torment. Who says: when Allah did not say it, he slanders Allah, and indeed they slander. They, He says, let them prepare their place in the fire. Now in this case, when anyone says: if you do this like this, this will happen; if you do this, this will be like this; this is the game of a Jewish fabrication to take you away from your religion; you look, he says, he sends you a message: say this fifty times or say it a hundred times say it, you will become like this, he says, wait within two hours, he says; you go on trying, trying, you look at saying it, and you see days pass, nothing happens, and on top of that you meet with calamity; what do you do? Your belief in Allah weakens.
This is the unbeliever's fabrication; these are Jewish fabrications. No one can give news of the unseen. No one can say: do this like this and you have this much reward because those deeds depend on the intention. Along with that, Allah Almighty gives three for one, five for one, seven for one, ten for one, seventy for one, seven hundred rewards for one; seven hundred, a hundred (?) in one ear, He says; seven ears at once, He says, let Us give its reward, He says. These are the rewards of surrendering to Allah, of the covenant you gave, have given, to Allah with those feelings. Which deviant will tell you: read this and you will get this much reward?
But today they put it very nicely, and people believe it too. People believe it. There is also this.
In Surah Maryam, verse 71. O people, there is no one among you who will not pass by Hell. This is a decree of your Lord that has been settled.
Only this much: those whose hearts are full of reverence for Allah and who guard against opposing Him We will save from falling into Hell, while the wrongdoers We will leave in Hell on their knees, kneeling. These are all fabricated words. Words with which they distorted the verses. Now, you too, I this here, someone who wrote I will read it to you this.
Yes, he says; let me see, if I can find it here I'll read it.
I couldn't find it here, it's not here. Let me look here.
There is no Sirat bridge.
For years we said this and proved it. There are more than 67 verses; we put them right before their eyes. and today many people say there is no Sirat bridge. The verse he speaks of: first of all, there is a verse showing that there is no Sirat bridge. What does Allah Almighty say? When the earth becomes another earth and the sky another, when the world is brought out perfectly flat, there is no evading Israfil, He says.
Straight to the gathering; at the gathering, at the Great Court, Allah Almighty says in the verse: today no one will be wronged at all, everyone will be given what he earned, as the recompense of his own (?) He says. You (?), you made him cross this bridge, made him fall from hooks into Hell. You put the Prophet into Hell too. When the Prophet entered Hell, you created flameless fires. You had him do things. No, you made him pass through caves. Come on, there can be no such nonsense. They have turned a proverb into a verse. And they present it as the word of Allah. Our forefathers say: if you depart from the straight path (sirat al-mustaqim), that is, from the straight path, (?), you fall into Hell.
The forefathers speak the truth. If you depart from the straight path, you go to Hell. There are two paths, paths going to Allah. One is the path of Paradise, one is the path of Hell. Now look, we'll read this part now.
Hodja, he says, I wanted to share this information with you. When I began to read, it reminded me of (?) brother, our brother. (?), sir, or it is him, he says, or another brother of ours who supports your wise explanations like that with knowledge of Arabic. In the verse, it is not a place to be entered into Hell. It is not a place to be entered into Hell. No one will remain who has not seen Hell, He says. Because people will pass in front of Hell. They put this into Hell. Now we are opening up this part anyway. It is not a place to be entered into Hell.
A place to be arrived at. With (?) written "wariduha", in verse 68 of the surah too, as you pointed out a moment ago, "hawla jahannam": that they will be around Hell, that they will be, is written very clearly. So: by your Lord, We will surely gather them at the gathering together with the devils. That is the meaning of the verse. Not the way such scoundrels interpret it. This is completely distorting Allah's verses. That is the meaning of the verse.
Yes.
That is, a reference has been made pointing to the word Hell made. Two: everyone knows well that if a sentence is evaluated apart from the passage, the paragraph it is in, the meaning is spoiled. This matter gets misunderstood. Before a pronoun, the pronoun's referent must be mentioned either in wording, or in meaning, or by implication. The referent of the pronoun in this verse, the word Hell, is not mentioned on its own. The word Hell, as a noun compound, as the mudaf ilayh, appears as "hawla jahannam". The referent of the pronoun must be the whole of the noun compound it must be. That is, the paragraph does not speak of Hell; it speaks of the surroundings of Hell it speaks.
That is why the pronoun's referent is not Hell; it is the word "the surroundings of Hell". The commentators who fell into this error, when before them they saw verse 101 of Surah Al-Anbiya, mentioned above, and verse 102, and verse 89 of Surah An-Naml, were at a loss what to do, what way out to look for. They produced a thousand and one kinds of absurd, nauseating ideas produced. Inventing a fireless Hell and a fire that does not burn, putting a tunnel inside Hell, building a bridge over it, looking for wisdom in the believers' entering Hell, and so on; as a result of the distortion they made, when it turned out that the prophets, and especially the Prophet too, would have to enter Hell, they were at a loss what to do.
Hodja, he says, may Allah be pleased with you, how well you have opened up this verse, he says.
Yes.
These are deviants. If you don't know, don't interpret the verse. Don't slander Allah.
Now there is a verse here.
Than the one who invents a lie against Allah, He says, or the one who denies His verses, who is more unjust, He says. There is no doubt. Such criminals will never attain salvation. Yes.
Here there was one more verse.
Those who slander Allah, He says.
Enough for him; this much is enough for him. is there another question? One more has come; it's full here. it's full here; let's tell it, Hodja. Also, about celebrating New Year, is there any sin, she asks; we told the verse: O people, among you (?), only this much: those whose hearts are full of reverence for Allah and who guard against opposing Him We will save from falling into Hell. And the wrongdoers will be kneeling, on their knees, inside Hell. Not inside Hell.
They, kneeling, at the questioning, will await their questioning. At the gathering, at the Great Court, and they will resist so as not to go to Hell.
I'm not making it up; I'm telling the verses. And We, He says, will call the guardians of Hell, He says. We will seize them by their forelocks and throw them in through Hell's (?) gate. Where will He keep them kneeling inside Hell? After that everyone there will suffer the punishment he is to suffer. These are completely absurd.
Yes. What does it say on the other side, here? There's one more verse here.
He will save from falling into Hell those who guard against opposing Him. Look. Which verse is this?
Maryam 72, Hodja. Surah Maryam 72. verse. Verse 72, Hodja. Surah Maryam 72. Which surah? Surah Maryam. Look now. Let's read it in Surah Maryam. Surah Maryam. Let's look here.
Surah Maryam.
309, Hodja. Yes, at 309. 321 Surah Taha, Surah Al-Kahf Surah Maryam. Which one? Was it verse 72? 72, Hodja.
57, 75, 72. Then: We save those who guard themselves against Allah, He says. Where is this falling into Hell? There is no such thing in the verse. And the wrongdoers We will leave there kneeling, on their knees, He says. Where? At the gathering. First the Muslims' account will be settled. After that their account will be settled. Now, if we were to look at verse 72, here 70, 71, 72. Look, the wrongdoers, we say. The wrongdoers (?), We save those who guard themselves against Allah. The wrongdoers, as He says, We leave there kneeling. After that, when they (?), We throw them in through Hell's (?) gate, He says. Yes, this verse needs further opening up.
We didn't say this is wrong, but it is right. This, at the Great Court, the (?) wrongdoers, the wrongdoers bound for Hell, last; this needs to be added there: last, since their account will be settled last, they are kept there on their knees to wait for their account, to see it. Because if they had entered Hell, when He says We leave them there on their knees, the fire would have been removed. What does verse 131 of Surah Al Imran say? Do not head towards the fire prepared for the unbelievers. If they are to leave them there on their knees, (?). There is no fire in Hell. He did not suffer the punishment.
(?). We left them there, He says. That needs opening up. Yes.
There's one here too. Hodja, I kiss your hands, it says. I had a question about the law of inheritance. Are the Quran's sharia rulings on this subject open to interpretation? Of course they are open. Whatever your inheritance is, there are verses in the Quran. Open Surah An-Nisa. There, what beautiful verses; (?) it states its sharia ruling. Are there gaps? There are no gaps. There are no gaps in Allah's word. It is direct. For example, let's give an example. Person X, a son: in his mother's youth, her healthy years aside, in her times of illness and old age he was not by her side. He left her in a care home.
In contrast, person Y, a woman, in the face of this treatment by her brother, protected her mother all her life, cared for her, was patient, bore all her difficulties. The mother put her house in her daughter's name and left her sons nothing. Now let me explain to you what you've told up to here. Someone has been cruel to his mother. Probably verse 14 of Surah Luqman, the verse. (?). Even if their old age is spent with you, do not even say "uff", He says. Look at Surah Luqman, verse 14. Now in this case, the other one cared for her mother very well. She cared for her very well. She too has received her reward in Allah's sight, it has raised her.
What does He say? We have enjoined on man to be good to his parents. For his mother carried him, you, enduring hardships. And his weaning is within two years. That is why: give thanks first to Me and then to your parents, We have advised. The return is to Us alone, He says. Yes. Now how beautifully He says it here. First to Me, then to your mother and to him; that is, obey. In this case the mother has done an injustice. Injustice.
Its sin, its burden falls directly on the mother's back. Because Allah Almighty states the distribution of inheritance like this. Men two shares, a woman one. In this case, two brothers; look, reward and sin are separate. Inheritance is separate. One did not care for his mother; he got the sin of it. One cared for his mother; he got the reward of it. But when it comes to inheritance, men two, a woman one. How will you divide this? Two, four, plus the woman, five.
She left a hundred liras. Or she left a hundred and twenty thousand liras. You will divide it by five. Twenty thousand liras the woman's, forty, forty to the men; what does it make? It makes a hundred. Forty, forty, eighty, twenty more makes a hundred. It is distributed equally like this. So your mother didn't look after you and gave it to her. All its burden and sin is on her. Yes. The law overturns this. He says: my mother hid property away. Go and take it to court. With a case that property was hidden away through your sister, let the court give you your right.
What does the civil code do? It divides 100 thousand liras by 3. It gives each person 33 thousand liras. For this reason, what a law.
Let's see, is there anything else?
In this case, if the sons, as well as being in financial difficulty, say to their sister: the house is mine, you have to give me my right, you have to give it, what is the ruling? You cannot force it; there is the law. You will apply to the law. There is no such bullying. The law will take it and give you your right. Because: my mother hid property away, she gave it to my sisters. You will say: she put it in my sister's name. If your sister also fears Allah: come, my brother, let us carry out Allah's command carry it out. Today we are here, tomorrow we are gone. We will all give account in Allah's presence.
If she says: let us act according to what Allah says, she also wins her brothers' hearts. And when she herself falls into hardship, the father's hearth; her elder brothers are the father's hearth, her brothers the father's hearth. She takes refuge with her brother and stays.
Yes.
There's one more here.
Peace be upon you, Hodja, she says. While waiting at the gathering, will the unbelievers and the Muslims, let's say the Muslims, in a place wait? Will the waiting places be different? Will everyone be gathered in the same place? How do you know, Hodja? Is there a verse? There is, there is. Where is the verse? Well, I said it a moment ago: when the earth becomes another earth and the sky another when it becomes another, you (?), there is no evading. In this case, it means Israfil will lead them all after him. Where will he take them? To the gathering. In fact, the believers will have light on their right sides.
And the unbelievers behind will say: they are coming in darkness. Wait for us too, let us benefit from your light. This is not my idea, mind you; it is a verse. And they will say: turn back and look for a light behind you. And in this way they will all gather at the place of gathering. At the place of gathering, in a place called A'raf, a high place, there are people.
They recognise the people of Paradise and the people of Hell by their faces. They greet the people of Paradise with peace.
And the people of Hell, since they are all in the same place, the gathering, however vast a place it is; anyway, if so many people who came to the world, billions of people, fit into this world, the Prophet too: places as wide as the heavens and the earth; hasten and obey to the places as wide as the heavens and the earth that Allah will give you, he says. Obey Allah to win it. Now just think how big that place is. In this case, a person, to Allah, to Allah's verses,
by being bound by rulings, bound by the verses, must both neglect this world and win his hereafter. Everything is not this world. Everything is not this realm you see. Everything. There is a place we came from. And there is a place where we were created. We were not created in this world.
The created ones, our father Adam and our mother, our mother Eve, came to the world. Is that right? So we were not created in this world. And if we go further back, were we created in Paradise?
Yes. Our father Adam was created there. Because he entered Paradise there. Wherever he was created, Allah Almighty does not state the place he was created. But He says in Paradise. Since He says "do not approach this tree", He created him there.
In this case, in Paradise He created his body. He made him obey Him. There is something before that. Spirit, nafs and soul are one. Bodies are separate. If you don't know that spirit and nafs and soul are one, if you don't know that in the realm of lahut our spirits were created, and that there, when the worlds were created, the first created was the Prophet, if you don't know that these worlds were created from the Prophet's light, if you don't know that people were created indirectly from the Prophet's spirit, if you don't know that in the realm of lahut Allah Almighty made a covenant with us, you talk nonsense like this.
Yes. There are many things.
All of them, the unbelievers, the Muslims, the idolaters, all of them will come to the gathering. As its name says: mahshar. What does it mean? Isn't it the place where all people are gathered? We say "a mahshar-like crowd", don't we? How nice. (?). In this case, a person first, the Prophet's community will be witnesses to the other communities, will bear witness. He will show us to them as witnesses. Your Prophet will be a witness to the other prophets, and you to the other communities, He says. So Allah Almighty will show us to them. How will we be witnesses? He will show us. When He has settled their accounts and sent them to their places, to whom will He show them?
So first, the Prophet's community. That is why the verse says "you are a chosen community", but they interpret it wrongly. Allah does not choose anyone. You are a superior community. In the religion of Islam, in the capacity of being the Prophet's community. He will show us as witnesses to all the communities. Look, they prayed, fasted, gave zakat, came to hajj, obeyed Me; what did you do? He will say, and send us to our places smoothly, one by one. Then He will call them group by group, you see. The wrongdoers last. They will wait there kneeling. That is not in Hell. So when people do not know the verses, they go astray like this.
Lillahi Ta'ala al-Fatiha. We didn't answer one question. We didn't answer one question, Hodja. We didn't? Which one is it? This one, "peace be upon you, Hodja", about the gathering. No, Hodja, on the upper part, Hodja. Further up, Hodja. "In this case, the sons". Further up, Hodja. Further up, Hodja. Not that one either, Hodja. One more up. This one, Hodja, this. This one. Sir, the end of the question didn't come through, she says. Sir, the end of the question didn't come through. A friend of mine said something like this. After the fard of my prayer I pray my old missed prayers after it. I told this, didn't I? Hodja, this part here was missing, Hodja.
I told it, still. She said: I pray my missed prayers after it. But praying the sunnah and also the missed prayer after it is hard for me. She said words like that to me. In this case, what should I tell her? Can you explain, sir? And in such a situation, what would be best from the point of view of taqwa? Can you tell me? I tell Allah's command. Allah's command is taqwa.
Now, I said a moment ago: a Bedouin comes to the Prophet: how many times of prayer did Allah command? Five times, he says. I told this too. Since that's so, I said, let's explain it once more.
How many rak'ahs of prayer did He make fard at each time? Morning two, noon four. Afternoon four, evening three, night four, and the witr, which is wajib. If I pray these and pray no other prayer, that is, if I don't pray the sunnahs, will I enter Paradise? You pray these, pray these, and if your rewards are more than your sins, I will vouch for your entering Paradise, he says. What does this mean?
The sunnahs are not fard. Even from the point of view of taqwa, let the person pray voluntary prayers. If you want to turn to taqwa, pray voluntary prayers. You, the sunnah: why does the Prophet have you pray the sunnah? So that it takes the place of the qada of the times you could not pray in their time, he has you pray the sunnahs pray. 4 rak'ahs of sunnah for 4 rak'ahs of fard. 2 rak'ahs of sunnah for 3 rak'ahs of fard. 4 rak'ahs of sunnah for the 4-rak'ah fard of the night prayer. He has you pray this in place of those you could not pray. And if you have prayed them, he has it added to your reward.
Otherwise these sunnahs are not Allah's command to you. The Prophet, to save us, has us complete our extra missed prayers in this way. But whoever hears this, he says, let him not tell it to another. Let him pray as he knows, he says. Yes. Understood now. All right. Lillahi Ta'ala al-Fatiha.
This is finished. Today we couldn't do our lesson. Never mind. Let's close this.
What does it say here? We closed it, so what does it say?
Look, it's come again.
(?). It says enter password. Let's enter. Okay. Enter the password.
This went in. Now this was open here, that's why. Let me close the (?). Okay. Come here. Go in here. Let me say close. Close. There's something open here. Is this the one that's open?
Is there something open here? This program, the one here, Hodja. This keeps doing a (?) thing, this keeps coming here, it doesn't close, never mind, come here, close, no. Hodja, let's click here. This one? No, Hodja, here. From here, Hodja, let's say end task, Hodja, here. It ends it. What are we ending here?
This was left open here now.
Never mind. Until it ends itself, let's (?) this place. It's over.
