What is said in the video

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Allahu Akbar.

(?) Allahu Akbar.

Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar.

Allahu Akbar.

Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alamin. Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alamin.

May you be entrusted to Allah. May you be entrusted to Allah.

Is there a new question?

We (?) the giving of the name Abdülhalik and read it, didn't we? No new question. All right. Yes? He says we didn't do Surah Al-Qasas, verse 61, right? Write Surah Al-Qasas, verse 61 for me.

What is there?

Surah Al-Qasas, 61.

Isn't Surah Al-Qasas here?

We added all of these, but isn't it there? Well, hand me that phone of mine.

Ramazan's (?) had things here, but we probably deleted it, Ramazan's, we deleted it probably. He sent it to me. Is it there? Is (?) 65 there? Yes, sir. It's here. Then (?). Well, I added all of these. I added all of them to this. Yes. Look, here. We may have skipped it from here.

We may have skipped it from here. Let's see. Because I added all of them. I added that.

Page 281. Page 281.

182. 281 Al-Qasas 5, we passed it do you know? 70-37, Al-Qasas 42 Al-Qasas 61 is here. I added it. We didn't read this in the lesson that ended. I didn't even know it had been added. That's why Ramazan wrote a note below. Well, did we skip this? Last time. We didn't do it last time, sir. We started 60. I uploaded this in Ankara and came here. You had uploaded it in Ankara on Sunday. These came after last week's Saturday. I had no invitation. He continued 60. On Saturday I added all the (?) things to this. Yes, sir. Well, then we will have read it there, I mean read it. When we do this, 82. we will continue from verse 20, sir.

Do what you are looking for.

First of all, may your Mi'raj be blessed.

As everyone says, may your Mi'raj be blessed. May our Mi'raj be blessed, but what does Mi'raj mean? Ascension. What does ascension mean?

people celebrate birthdays, you know, birthdays; for us the night we celebrate the gift of the five daily prayers that Allah Almighty has bestowed on us; the night He sent us the gift of the five daily prayers, the Prophet's ascent to the Mi'raj, and Allah Almighty's gift of the five daily prayers to his ummah. It is not an ascension. The night we celebrate the gift of the prayer our Lord has bestowed on us tonight, just as we celebrate a birthday. Yes. But people are not aware of this. They say "may your Mi'raj be blessed" and move on. They say "ascension" and go on. What ascension is this?

If it is the Prophet's ascension, there is no ascension like that. Because Allah Almighty gave him such a station that people cannot even imagine it. Maqam Mahmud.

Ascension, he ascended to the Mi'raj. He ascended, then what happened? He met Allah Almighty. The five daily prayers came as a gift. And the gift, if you don't accept that gift, if someone gives you a gift and you don't take it, won't that person be offended with you? The Prophet says: exchange gifts, gifts increase sincerity. Sincerity. Now in this case, Allah Almighty has given us a gift. He created us honoured above the worlds, gave us a part of His spirit, and has taken us into speaking face to face with His Self five times a day. You can't go to a minister once a day, once a month, once a year.

What do you do? You go by phone, by letters, by making an appointment. But you come before the Owner of the worlds five times a day and present your wishes. Could there be a greater station than this?

The holy nights come, they say "may your holy night be blessed" and move on. Shame on them. On those who cannot grasp its spirit.

Yes.

in the universe with the eyes of the head, Allah Almighty there are two people who saw Him; other than that, in this let's not say universe, in this world, in this world, there are two people who personally saw the beauty of Allah Almighty. "The Hodja has probably gone astray." No, you have gone astray. I will now say it with a verse; why do you say I've gone astray? Because you say Allah Almighty is not seen; right, He is not seen in this realm. We are in a hidden realm, a realm where His Self is not shown to us. Even to Moses He appeared in the form of fire. But Allah Almighty was seen with the eyes of the head by two people.

One is our father Adam, and one is the Prophet (peace be upon him). These saw Him with the eyes of the head. Because the realm where Allah Almighty is not seen in His Self is the worldly realm. Outside the worldly realm, Allah Almighty is seen. Al-Ma'idah... open Surah Al-An'am, 103. Open the verse, let's see what it says there. They translated it wrongly. They say Allah is not seen either. My goodness, with an unseen Allah? In the realm of lahut, Allah Almighty made a covenant with us. Did an unseen Allah make a covenant with us? And did an unseen Allah make us bear false witness? Look. What have they written?

"Eyes cannot see Him. Whereas He sees the eyes." If eyes cannot see Him... Allah's word is both outward and inward. Did we make a covenant with an unseen Allah?

"He knows things very well. He is the All-Aware of everything." The end is right. But eyes see Him by encompassing, that is, comprehending Him, and cannot perceive "this is my Lord." So eyes encompass Him. That is, they see Him but cannot know Him. Whereas He sees and encompasses all eyes. He comprehends them all and knows what they all are. He knows where everything in the whole universe is.

He is the one who knows things very well, the All-Aware of everything. Now, in this case, those who say Allah is not seen, those who say that in the hereafter He is a dim kind of light, I picture them like this. Because of their faith, but a tree without fruit.

These, some of them, play the know-it-all and say Allah is not seen; those know-it-alls and consciously in this way, again every stubborn one following Satan, those who say it, outside the verses, people who ascribe attributes to Allah. Now the verses we will tell you. Allah Almighty has us say the kalima of testimony. Is that so? It is so. What does it say? Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. And ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh. We say that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is Allah Almighty's servant and messenger. Well, now if Allah is not seen, if we made a covenant with an unseen Allah, if Allah has us bear false witness, I don't believe in the greeting of that Allah.

There is no such Allah. Allah, in the universe, the absolute owner of this universe, only in the world, in the worldly realm, sent us with faith in the unseen. What was it? With faith in the unseen. What is the reason? Why did He do this?

Allah gave man a part of His spirit.

He created us exactly resembling His Self. He created us exactly resembling. Because the spirit is a part of Him. Where did He create us? In the realm of the hereafter, in the realm of lahut. He created our spirits. And when He suddenly brought us to life, before us, just like a human, just like a human, "I created you," He said. Go on and believe it. You are human, and He is like a human too. The Prophet (peace be upon him) is also beside Him.

"Yes, this is our Lord. This is the one who created us," he is warning people. He is urging people to know our Lord.

And our Lord gives people a chance. He grants them a unit of time. Within this unit of time, there people divide into three groups. Those of the right, those of the left, the class of the muqarrabin.

In this case, when Allah had them say the kalima of testimony, those believers who believe there is no god but Him, what do they say? Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. Muhammad is His servant and messenger, because he is beside Him too. This is the faith with which we bore witness, knowing Allah Almighty, at the address "Alastu bi Rabbikum" of the kalima of testimony. With our faith we bore witness, knowing and recognising our Lord, the Lord we bore witness to; to this people expected the Lord of their own imagination, and since there was no such Lord, even while making the covenant, Allah Almighty made the covenant in a separate place, one by one He again made a covenant with people. By showing them the times, which time of theirs to leave to their own wishes and desires, leaving man free in his own will, He wrote their wishes for them as their destiny.

It is because of Allah's attribute of being God that, since we saw Allah Almighty in the realm of the hereafter, since we saw Him like a human, so that you would not say, "Had you sent me to a hidden realm where you are not seen, look how I would have worshipped you there, I would have known you," He created this realm and sent us here. Is there such a verse? There is. Surah Taha, verse 134. Open it. Poor people who know nothing of the verses describe Allah Almighty with all sorts of stories. And we describe Allah Almighty with the verses as He is. Yes. Look what it says here now. Verse 134.

"If We had destroyed them with a punishment before this, before the Quran." What does it say here now? "Before the Quran" means, before Allah Almighty sent people to the world, if We had destroyed them with a punishment. Whom? The non-Muslims.

"I know what you are. I made a covenant," He says. "You are people of Paradise. You are those who know Me. And you are those who deny Me; you had your destinies written like this. You to Hell and you to Paradise" — would He say that? They would say, "We made a covenant with Allah," because, but no one will be able to question Allah Almighty; not because He frightened them, mind you, nor because He will punish them; people's questions will be cut off, and they will not be able to ask a single question against Allah Almighty. This is Allah's attribute of being God. Just for this: "Here you saw Me like yourselves and could not believe.

Now I will send you to a realm where My Self is not seen. Where? To the world. Even if you see Me there, you will not recognise Me." So all eyes see Him but cannot encompass, comprehend Him. So, Muslims, religious people. Our ancestors also said something about this. Take everyone who comes to your door as Khidr, and every night as Qadr.

Yes.

In this way, Allah Almighty, who is free of any deficient attribute, in order to send us the five packages of prayer as a gift by His hand, invites the Prophet (peace be upon him) to His Self. Look at this greatness. Look at this sublimity. And there, as a gift to His servants: "My beloved, you came into My presence, but let My servants also be in My presence," and He sends us the five daily prayers as a gift. Now let us come here to the superstitions, the sophistries, the lies made up by those who think themselves scholars to show people how learned they are, people who stay too heavy under them to account for those lies, I will now explain the crimes they have committed against Allah Almighty.

"Allah Almighty did not know.

And the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not understand either. Allah sent fifty daily prayers to His servants.

As the Prophet was descending to the world, Jesus said to him, 'Your servants cannot bear this. Tell Allah Almighty to reduce it.'

And the Prophet, (?), has Allah Almighty (?) five prayers. He has it brought down to forty-five." Who says this? Superstitions, superstitions. Poor people who think themselves learned and tell people superstitions say this. I will prove to you with verses that it is not so. If I don't tell it with verses, don't believe me either. Although Satan told the Prophet (peace be upon him) the truth, the Prophet says this: "If you had not shown me verses, I would not have believed you," he says. If I don't show you a verse, don't believe me either. In this way, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, they brought it down to five prayers. A Jewish ploy: showing Jesus as superior to the Prophet, sir.

Now, we love all the prophets more than our own lives, but we make no distinction between any of the prophets, and about no prophet do we say, Allah forbid, he is lower than this or that and fall into sin. The prophets are Allah's beloved servants; to guide people they are Allah Almighty's messengers. In this case people, without fear, without shame, both slander the prophets and ascribe attributes to Allah Almighty. Look how Allah Almighty describes the five daily prayers. Does He say "at the two ends of the day"? Where is it?

What are the two ends of the day?

"My Messenger, be patient with what they say. Before the rising of the sun and before its setting": the morning prayer. Before the sun rises; a moment before it sets, when the sky begins to turn red. "Before it sets, glorify your Lord with praise. In some hours of the night, and around the day, at its two ends" — there is more. How? Let Him describe the five daily prayers. The evening prayer, the morning prayer, the two ends of the day, noon and afternoon, a part of the night, a certain hour of the night, the night prayer.

"You just imagined it that way." "I imagined it that way." Now, while creating this universe, Allah Almighty proves this Himself. What He said.

Pay attention to the time of imsak: at 6:25 in Istanbul, at 6:25, when it comes to 6:25, pay attention to the sky, look at the sky on the side where the sun rises, you'll see a bright cloud like this, white; this is the start of imsak time. Also, this place then grows dark. Until when? Until 42 to 45 minutes are left before sunrise: the black thread and the white thread. In this way the sun has divided the world in two, one side dark, one side light. "Hodja, you're the one saying that." For Allah's sake, look at where the sun rises when 45 minutes are left. Allah will prove this to you. And this says: eat until this time for the fast.

It says: break the fast until this time. Eat. In order to fast. And after that you pray the morning prayer. Imam Abu Hanifa used to pray the morning prayer after that. Until sunrise. And the Shafi'is pray 15 minutes, half an hour after imsak. After imsak, the morning prayer is prayed.

Is that a time before the sun rises? The two ends of the day.

Plant a stick upright. When the shadow falls right at the foot of the stick, that is the noon prayer, but that moment is a disliked time. A minute past, that is, when its shadow inclines a little, you pray the noon prayer. Is that two? Two lengths of the stick, a shadow of two lengths, is the start of the afternoon prayer. Twice the size of the stick you planted. It is the start of the afternoon prayer. Forty-five minutes before sunset is a disliked time. But one prayer time does not begin before another ends. You pray the afternoon prayer before leaving it to that state. It says, before the sun sets, a little before, a redness appears.

That is the evening prayer. And when it says "in a part of the night," that is the night prayer. And when the redness disappears in the sky, the evening prayer is prayed. After a while, after an interval of about 45 minutes, a brightness appears. That is the night prayer time. The Shafi'is pray the night prayer at that time. We pray it half an hour after that. While creating the worlds, Allah set the five prayers to be prayed each day, yet these sophistries, these liars, these exploiters of conscience, in order to corrupt the religion, say it went up to fifty, or fell to forty-five, or brought it down to thirty, or He accepted five.

It's a shame, a shame. There is no bargaining with Allah.

They have no shame. Yes.

This night has value for all people. Because Allah sent the Quran to the worlds. And the Prophet (peace be upon him), "wa ma arsalnaka illa rahmatan lil- alamin," came as a mercy to the worlds. And Allah Almighty, be they idolater or Magian, religious or irreligious, Christian or Hebrew, whoever they are, until the Day of Judgement, until death, until the soul reaches the throat, as long as the door of repentance is open, our Lord who accepts repentance abundantly offers us such nights for people as a night of light, a night of repentance and seeking forgiveness. In this case, the prayer is not only for us; the prayer is obligatory for all people.

But alas, those outside the religion of Islam do not recognise the prayer anyway, those outside the religion of Islam do not recognise the Prophet anyway, those outside the religion of Islam, let them never give up bargaining with Allah either.

Yes. Let everyone live their own destiny. But in this transient worldly life, within the time in which people will benefit from a world of a few hours, creating time within time, this one or one and a half hours, sixty, seventy, a hundred years, Allah Almighty... those deceived by this realm who stay here, when they return to the realm of the hereafter, their original homeland, in the realm with no return, they will lament greatly. And this realm will never come into their hands again. Do you know what the greatest wealth in the world is?

This breath you take, your health, and your life; there is no greater wealth than this, because if within this life you repent and seek forgiveness just once and turn to Allah, you have won the realm of the hereafter, you have won true existence. If this world were yours, and a thousand more were added, with death, "every soul shall taste death," according to the verse where He says "your return is to Me," again "every soul shall taste death," according to the verse where He says "the inheritance of the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah," when you leave everything in the world and go before Allah empty-handed and with a black face, you will want that life so much; so know the value of the treasure of this life here.

Make no concession from Allah. Pray your prayers.

Tonight, the night that came to us as the gift of prayer, we celebrate. It is not the holy night of those who say "may your holy night be blessed" without knowing what it means.

Our Lord, who invites us to His Self so that we pray that prayer He gave us as a gift in His presence, we will be in the presence of our Lord so that we know the value of that prayer.

Yes. Ramazan efendi, verse 61 is here, it was added, but because our Ömer efendi started us from a verse further ahead, verse 61 was left behind. We will open this. But before opening it, let us first tell about the Mi'raj to you. Mi'raj, Surah An-Najm, on which page? 526 526. Yes. An-Najm Surah. I can't read this from the translation here. It's very nice writing. If we bring this down from here, the thing, let's open it. Let's open the translation. Here we see its writing a bit larger.

526, 526, this is what, 590 let's go down like this 500 14 26, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26. Yes.

Here is Surah An-Najm. Let me come back a bit. Yes?

Let's go in here. At-Tur.

Surah An-Najm, look what Allah Almighty says: "By the star when it sets," He says, by the star when it sets. Allah created the star, didn't He? this daytime, (?) when the sun rises, the stars actually stay in their place; as the world turns around its own axis and comes to face the sun, when it gets light, we cannot see them. When it says "when it sets, by the star," Allah, who brings darkness, who creates night and day, swears by His Self here. The stars have nothing to do with it. He swears by the One who created them. Who created them? Who created these worlds? Allah created them. If Allah created them, He swears by His Self.

"I swear that your companion Muhammad has not strayed, and has not believed in falsehood." Now, "has not strayed" is fine, "has not believed in falsehood" is also fine. Why both? A person who cannot accept falsehood does not stray anyway, because he cannot accept falsehood. Allah raised him with the truths: "My Lord raised me, my Lord educated me, He educated me well." But those who don't know this (?) Gabriel; if you say this: what was Gabriel created from? some say spirit; the one who says spirit says this is Allah, (?) (?) close that. But this needs to be closed at times like this. Yes. "Muhammad has not strayed and has not believed in falsehood." Allah Almighty says: "Whomever We give knowledge, We give wisdom." Wisdom in knowledge: what does Allah Almighty want to say in the verse?

He knows it with wisdom. He does not let any verse be contradicted by any verse. And He opens the meanings of the verses, meaning by meaning. That is how He raises him. In this case, say as much falsehood as you like. Falsehood does not affect him.

So Allah Almighty, in His verse, "My servant who knows Me, Satan's temptation (?)." How beautifully He says it.

"I swear, Muhammad has not strayed." Of course he does not stray. There is no god but Allah for him to turn to. "And he has not believed in falsehood.

Nor does he speak according to his desire." Nor does he speak according to his own wish. Nor does he speak according to his own understanding. There is a verse about him too: "He does not speak idly." Yes. "He does not speak idly." Some people say this about the Prophet (peace be upon him); to whom? To the Prophet's scribe, to those who write down what comes out of his mouth: "He is a human like us too; don't write everything that comes out of his mouth," they say. Upon this, the scribe conveys to the Prophet (peace be upon him) the words they said.

And the Prophet says this to his scribe:

"I swear by Allah, who holds my soul in His hand of power, write everything that comes out of my mouth," he says. Yes.

So what is this? "He does not speak idly." No one can say he spoke according to his own desire. Whoever says so has gone astray.

Yes.

"What he conveys is nothing but what is revealed." What should Allah Almighty say? It is Allah Almighty, who is free of time and place, making known the verses to His Prophet within time and place by way of communication. If His servants are in no state to understand the verses, the Prophet told the meanings of the verses in a way His servants would understand. And this is hadith.

Because hadiths are the counterparts of the verses.

Yes. In fact, in one verse Allah Almighty says this: "When We reveal to the heart of Our servant, let Satan not try to tempt him anyway." Now they have translated that wrongly. "We cancel the temptation Satan will give. Into the heart of Our servant We firmly settle Our revelation," He says. Where is the Prophet's will left then? Where is Allah Almighty's leaving every will free in itself left? This verse contradicts that verse: "My servant who knows Me, Satan's temptation (?)" — it contradicts that verse. Whereas the right meaning of the verse is this: "We firmly settle Our revelation into the heart of Our servant.

The temptation Satan gives strikes against it and is cancelled." That is the meaning of the verse.

Yes. They have translated verses with lies and errors. And they have ascribed attributes to Allah Almighty.

In my eyes I have a bit of trouble, sometimes they water. We have our eye cloth here, with it we wipe away the water. Yes.

that "One of mighty, intense powers taught him," it says. Who is this? Gabriel. Allah forbid, the Qurans opened like that, the other Qurans: "One of mighty, intense powers taught him," they say, Gabriel. Here, we say it is Allah. Because one of the names of Allah Almighty is Al-Matin. What does this mean? Strong, firm and solid. There is no created being whose powers are more intense than His. Yes. "A possessor of power, who," again they say Gabriel here, "then stood upright straight." It makes one want to laugh. How do you translate this verse as Gabriel? Gabriel was already coming and going to the Prophet.

Allah Almighty, on the Night of Qadr, the 27th night of Ramadan, sent down the Quran as a whole to Sidrat al-Muntaha; whichever surah He revealed to the Prophet's heart, He commands Gabriel; from Sidrat al-Muntaha he would memorise the very same surah and recite it to the Prophet. He would come and recite it. And the Prophet says this: "I used to like Gabriel's recitation," he says. No, Gabriel is created from light. Every spirit is Allah Almighty's. "They ask you about the spirits. Say: You have been given only a little knowledge about it."

Yes.

"A possessor of power" — we say Allah here — "then stood upright straight." What does "stood upright straight" mean?

People who attain the manifestations of Allah Almighty: thousands of forms pass, young, old, aged, bearded, beardless. This is the manifestation. It brings the nafs to peace. This is what they call a believer. And in Surah Al-Fajr, 27, 28, 29, 30, in the verses: "O soul that has found peace! Enter among My servants, your Lord pleased with you and you pleased with your Lord, enter My Paradise" — the people He says this to. Who are they? The believers. A believer is a Muslim. A Muslim is not a believer.

Muslims who do not reach that station, Muslims who do not reach the fourth state of the nafs, are not believers. Where are they? He has said the kalima of testimony. He is a Muslim. He is in the nafs ammara. He drinks alcohol, gambles, commits adultery too, and the kalima of testimony, he says that too. And with his talk he throws himself into the middle of Paradise. "You look at my heart, my heart," he says. The heart has a dog in it, and a cat too. He throws himself into Paradise, sir. After that there is the nafs lawwama. He is at his prayer and ablution. Then there is the nafs mulhima. He has turned to piety.

He has risen to the nafs mulhima. It is the door of miracles. If he goes further from here, he attains the nafs mutmainna, the manifestations. Yes. These are believers, but not every Muslim is a believer. What does it say here? "A possessor of power, Allah, then stood upright straight." Now, even believers do not know His true form. But they don't know it in this world.

The realm of the hereafter Allah Almighty opens to him by unveiling, and in the realm of lahut, when He said "I am your Lord," He describes the state when He appeared in His true form; Allah Almighty here. So He stands upright in that true form. That is, with the attribute in which He said "I am your Lord" at the address "Alastu bi Rabbikum." How can someone who has not seen it describe this? How can he write this? Yes. If you ask "Did you see it?" — I saw it. If I didn't see it, I couldn't describe it anyway. It cannot be understood anyway. With translations like this, these cannot be understood.

Look: "A possessor of power, Allah, then stood upright straight. And that Allah was beside the nearest horizon." Beside the nearest horizon. What is a horizon? The place where earth and sky seem to meet is called the horizon.

This realm, surrounded by the seven heavens and the Arsh of Allah, staying within time and place, the place where this place within time and place meets the place outside time and place is the high horizon, the high horizon. One, the place where the heavens and the earth meet, the horizon, the one that seems so; the other, where the Arsh of Allah meets the place where time and place end, is called the high horizon. I don't know if I can explain it, can you understand this? Yes, let me open that up for you a bit more. When we say the Arsh of Allah, the Arsh of Allah is surrounded by white clouds, surrounded by clouds, and even above it a few honoured angels remember their Lord.

Yes. "How do you know, Hodja?" By Allah, I went among them and remembered. They remember the majestic name Allah. Yes. So that Arsh of Allah has encompassed the whole universe; all of it in the sense of Allah's dominion. When it's called the Arsh of Allah: whose house is this? Ahmet's house. Inside there may be a thousand flats. Seven hundred flats. But whose is it? Ahmet's house, Mehmet's house. So Allah too has created these worlds. He says the Arsh of Allah. The Arsh of Allah is the earth and sky Allah has created. The seven heavens. These places He has created.

And the place where time and place end.

He stood upright in His true form. What is this? The form in which He appeared to us at the address "Alastu bi Rabbikum."

"Then He drew near to Muhammad. Then He came even nearer." "About two bows' length apart" — now look. "So much that about two bows' length apart. Or even nearer."

Look, Allah Almighty is outside time and place. And the Prophet is within time and place. He comes near. There is no air in between. When there is no air, sound does not reach the other side.

Sound reaching the other side: what I am saying to you reaches your ears through the communication of the air. Those membranes in your ears called the anvil and the hammer vibrate. With the air's vibration, striking the brain like a (?) wave, like a (?), words and letters appear and you understand our speech. And there is no air; where will it go? This time by way of communication. By signal. Look, in the world there is no layer of air beyond 82-83 km. With what? These sounds come; they come by communication. These conversations. Yes. So by way of communication, although He was as near as a bow's length, Allah says: "He revealed to His servant." That is, He still spoke by revelation.

That is, He spoke by way of communication. Look what it says.

"Allah revealed to His servant what He revealed. His heart did not deny what he saw." What does this mean? The form of Allah Almighty that he had seen with the eye of the heart, when he saw it with his eyes, he did not deny it, it says. What did I say earlier at the beginning? Two people have seen Allah with the eyes of the head. Has He proven it now? Yes. One is our father Adam; He creates him in Paradise, puts him into Paradise. (?) And one is the Prophet (peace be upon him). Yes.

"Will you now argue with him about what he saw?" He says. People of faith do not argue. (?) In fact, people who have reached the inward, spiritual realm stand in respect with reflection.

Now, those who see the inward realms, those who see the beauty of Allah Almighty, when these verses are told, they live those realms. And they tell you their feelings too.

Well now, if this man doesn't see these places, how will he tell you about them? "Near Sidrat al-Muntaha," it says. Look, pay attention here now too. "The Garden of Abode is also near it." He is describing it now. He is describing the place.

"What covered the Sidra" — Allah covered it. They say Gabriel now. "What covered the Sidra covered it." Now they took Gabriel to the high horizon and made him speak with the Prophet. Now they brought him and had him (?) the Sidra. Gabriel was created from light. He cannot go outside time and place. He has no authority, no authority. Yes. Everything that goes outside time and place burns. It is destroyed.

Even leaving the world, it exits at a certain angle and enters at a certain angle. At an inclination of 81.5 degrees. If it goes out straight up and comes down straight, it burns from the friction too. Yes. It burns from the friction of the air layer too.

"What covered the Sidra" — Allah had covered it. "Muhammad's eye did not swerve, nor did it exceed the limit," it says. "I swear, he saw some of the greatest signs of his Lord," it says. And in this way He sees the Prophet off on his return as far as Sidrat al-Muntaha. That is why Muslims also see their guests off to the door as the noble Sunnah.

So people have taken on superstitions. They know nothing of the verses. One verse contradicts another verse. In one verse, it contradicts the other verse; and when he understands the right one, he himself falls into a contradiction, and people, uneasy and in contradiction, looking to the mouths of this one and that one, because there is the light of faith in them, try to trust this one and that one, try to believe this one and that one. Yes, so in our religion in this way, believing one another, we turned to superstitions with superstitions. That is why we have no sense of family left, no culture left, no love of Allah left, no love of the Prophet left, and no (?) in the Book left.

Religion, the religion of Islam, is one. Everyone is obliged to follow the religion of Islam. But people who don't know their religion have run after these comforts, taken them on along with these comforts, and everyone, living religion as far as their own mind reaches, religions according to their own minds they have made up.

Even at the religion of people who say "I am a Muslim," with suspicion I look. Why do I look with suspicion? Because it is full of superstition; the religion he believes in, that superstitious religion, is not it. That is why I look with suspicion. "Does everyone know like you, Hodja?" Look now, do you pray your prayers? You do. Do you keep your fast? You do. Do you save the sense of family, your culture, your children from nakedness? You do. Apart from your small mistakes, that is. in your errors, (?), even in your small sins, (?), because Allah created us as a group of those who err, created us as a group of those who forget. When we understand it is a sin and turn back to our Lord, we find our Lord to be much-forgiving.

But his wife naked, his daughter stark naked, the man is proud of it, he shows off his wife, he shows off his daughter, as long as they call him a civilised person. Civilised? No. If being civilised is stripping stark naked, animals are more civilised than us; in fact those animals are more covered than us too; they have tails, they cover their private parts. Yes. And then, when the holy night comes, "may your holy night be blessed." Well, may your holy night be blessed. But what is the holy night? Do you know the holy night?

The prayer has been given to you as a gift. "What happens in the prayer anyway?" You turn your back and walk away. First obey Allah. Then try to be steadfast in Islam. Repent of your sins. Here you live a life of about an hour or an hour and a half. Because a thousand years here is like one day... a thousand days of the hereafter (?) one day. A thousand years here is like one day of the hereafter. Now in this case, 60 years, 80 years, 100 years of life: Allah has created time within time, like an hour and a half. In this case, in this realm, in a temporary guesthouse, if you turn your back on Allah who created you, eating and drinking so much provision He has given, and wander about stark naked, sir, take Satan as a friend, form a partnership with the enmity of your nafs, this world Allah created, this swamp, you see it as if opened in the middle of Paradise, sir, opened in the middle of Hell like the flower of zaqqum.

If you dive into the swamp of this world, shame on you. People who do not use their minds. "Will you not use your minds?" He says. "Will you not reflect?" says Allah Almighty. So one must know the value of these nights. You must take on your shoulders the prayer your Lord has gifted you. Accordingly, taking your head between your hands, repenting of the period of ignorance you have lived and turning to your Lord: the time is this evening. Turn back. Worship Allah. From the weariness your nafs shows you, from the burden of the prayer, from the temptation Satan gives you, be saved with your faith, in the love of Allah.

Gain your hereafter.

How beautifully Allah has opened such holy nights to us as a door of repentance. Yes.

There's no need to read more; rather, if we tell it briefly like this: Allah Almighty created man very close to His Self, gave him a part of His spirit, and created him as the mir'at, the mirror, of His Self. In this case He created him honoured above the worlds, invited the Prophet to His Self, (?) He sent the means to the Prophet so that he would come to His Self. What is this? (?) the gift, sir, that He sent to His Self, sir, the material: the Buraq. He sent the Buraq. With the Buraq, after praying two rak'ahs at Masjid al-Aqsa, he continued on his way. As far as where? As far as Sidrat al-Muntaha. When Gabriel said, "If I went one ant's length further, I would burn," the Rafraf came before him.

He mounted the Rafraf. As far as the place of the Arsh where Allah Almighty is, that high horizon, he came there with the Rafraf, and on the way, as he came, he saw many signs. When it says "his eye did not swerve": when the Prophet went up onto the Arsh, the Arsh of Allah, on the Arsh was written "La ilaha illallah Muhammadun Rasulullah." Because the Prophet did not look at that writing, it says "his eye did not swerve."

And the Arsh says this to the Prophet. These are all figurative meanings. "People think I carry Allah Almighty. They think He is on top of me. But I am something carried," it says. "Can something carried ever be a carrier?" it says. "O Arsh, I have no time to be with you," he says. He continues on his way. After that he comes into the presence of Allah Almighty. As we described, the conversations (?). In fact, as he was coming on the way, as he was going on the way, he hears a voice. That voice says: "Stop, O Muhammad, your Lord is praying (salat)," it says. The Prophet is surprised; in the accent of Abu Bakr, "Did Abu Bakr as-Siddiq pass me and come here?" he says. And also, "Allah has no need to pray," he says, "what is this?" So when speaking with Allah Almighty: "O Muhammad, you did not mention the word you heard," He says.

"My Lord," he says, "You know my heart better than I do." "You," He says, "a (?) state had covered you. A person," He says, "when he hears the word of the one he loves," He says, "becomes familiar with it; since you were familiar with Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, We called out to you in the accent of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq," He says. "And your Lord has no need to pray," He says. "Your Lord, night and day, constantly; neither sleep seizes Him nor drowsiness," He says. "Because He is constantly on duty over what He has created," He says, "in the state of salat, that is, on duty," He says. Towards His servants.

In this sense, He says.

The owner of the universe, the absolute owner of the worlds; man eats, drinks, enjoys himself; this life to the one who grants it, (?) turns his back on Him; this state does not fit man's human honour, man's human conscience; that is why man must be wise and know where he came from. You all came here from your homes, didn't you? You will go to your homes. You sat here for Allah. You are listening to a word or two. But each of you, on leaving here, is not the owner of this place. You are not permanent here either. Even if we say stay, you won't stay. You will all go to your homes. So in the world, we are not permanent either.

We will all make our return to our home, the absolute, the true realm in which we were created. No one thinks about this. No one prepares for their home. Yes. Of course, except for a handful of Muslims who love Allah and are with Him. Look now. What does the Prophet (peace be upon him) say in his hadiths? I will read this part to you too. We've closed this. Let me open this. let me open this. We, in this realm, are living the state of the peoples who were destroyed. In the Prophet's time, that is, if the mercy to the worlds had not come, if it had not been like the other prophets, we would have been destroyed, but for the Prophet's sake the destructions were lifted; in their place calamities were set, calamities. Now look what it says in the hadith: earthquake, tribulation, killing will increase, it says. Is there earthquake? There is.

Does a day pass without an earthquake somewhere? Is there killing? There is. It's full. Tribulation is roaming about openly. Ugh, whose word will you (?)?

"Bad women will increase and fornication will increase," it says. The Prophet's time close to the Day of Judgement. Pay attention. "People will be exposed to contagious diseases." Isn't it happening? With Covid-19, this and that, things keep coming up. Diseases come up. Meanwhile they give people injections. With those injections they are sterilising people. The aim is to reduce the world's population. Yes. "The scholars will give fatwas in the direction the people want." That is: this man is good. What a fine man. What a fine Muslim. Look, this Muslim, to commiserate, according to their situation, gives fatwas.

Then, then nobody tells it from the verse. By his own head, he gives measures according to the people's situation. What for? So they call him civilised.

"Music will spread everywhere," it says. It's in our homes too. Everyone listens to music. Indecency, like the end of the world. Husband and wife, children, at home, everyone stark naked, watching television.

"The security forces will increase," it says. True: in every place there are security forces, everywhere men, I mean, so that nobody steals here, or commits assault, or robs. In the past you'd leave your goods out and go, nobody would touch your goods. "Men will make do with men, women with women, homosexuality will increase," it says. They even pass laws for it; never mind homosexuality increasing, they even pass laws for it. What did we say to the pope? To the pope: "in your book too," we said, "there is no homosexuality. Noah (peace be upon him) too, Allah Almighty's, Lot (peace be upon him) too, although you know He destroyed the people of Lot, how do you write that homosexuality is lawful? What Allah has made forbidden you write as lawful; are you carrying out Allah's command?" we said to the pope.

"The prayer of Tahiyyat al-Masjid will not be prayed," it says. Maybe one in a million comes in and prays it. "The mother will be rebelled against in obedience to the wife," it says. Today there are those who obey their wife and throw their mother out. I have even witnessed this: he says to his mother, "Look, get out of here, or else," he says, "I'll have you (?) here," he says, with someone else.

We helped the woman, we bought a house. Isn't she a woman? Isn't she a mother? The mother still helps her son.

"Greetings will be given only to acquaintances," it says. Whereas: "Spread the greeting on the earth," that is, spread Islam, it says. Now everyone runs away from each other. And that greeting (?). A habit of the mouth.

"The rich will be respected for their wealth," it says. Isn't that so? We see the poor, we turn our backs. To the one in need we say, go and work.

Just as when I read this: before the Prophet spread Islam, in Mecca al-Mukarrama and Medina al-Munawwara, the rich used to hand out money to poets. The poets would praise the rich. And they, with pride and arrogance, would give money to the poet. The more money he gave the poet, the more the poet would go round after him and praise him. And he would walk about with pride. The same.

"There will be cheating in measure and weight, and hardship in livelihood," it says. Why our hardship in livelihood? Why can't we make ends meet?

Is there no cheating? Is there no deceiving people? Not a day passes without someone being cheated on television or the phone. Without some gang being busted, sir. People have no trust left anymore.

"Children will be angry and disrespectful," it says. True. Which child is obedient to mother and father? Show me one, it's not easy. Oh ho ho. At home he runs wild, stark naked. No prayers, no supplication. And she boasts of it. And the father boasts of it. If he says stop, he doesn't stop. If he says be quiet, he isn't quiet.

"Keeping a dog will be more attractive than raising a child," it says. Yes, has it happened? It has. All of it has appeared, gentlemen, here, hadith by hadith, this hadith, all of it has appeared. If the Day of Judgement had not drawn near, just as the time of the peoples who were destroyed, that time is appearing; and if it were not the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him), who came as a mercy to the worlds, we would have been destroyed. Be

wise. Make no concession from Allah. Do not neglect your prayers. Do not fail in love and respect for your elders. Be obedient to mother and father. Raise your children by Allah's command. This is my advice to you. Actually, this is Allah's command. But we came here to prove what kind of person we are.

Our origin is spirit, nafs and soul.

This flesh and bone you see, solely to prove in the world what kind of person we are, with a second creation we came here.

"We created man twice," He says. Twice.

Those who know nothing of this see themselves as flesh and bone like this. "You have returned to Me as I first created you," He says. We left the body and returned to Allah Almighty as spirit, nafs and soul. Our creation in the realm of lahut is spirit, nafs and soul, and when we go before Allah with a driver, who is the driver? The spirit drives the body. He will silence our mouths, bind our feet, make our hands speak. And the spirit will say to the body, "Why do you speak against me?" And the body will say, "The one who makes me speak is Allah, He makes me speak." After the testimony is over, to the spirit: "You are returned to the One who first created you," He says. There the body dies a second time. "We created you twice, We will make you die twice." "We gave you life twice, We will make you die twice," He says.

Our first coming to life is in the body, here. Our first death is in the body, here. Our second coming to life is in the body, in the realm of the hereafter. Our second death is in the body, the death there after the testimony is over. Look what Allah Almighty says to our spirit too. "You will not taste death other than the first death," He says. "You will not taste the pain of death," He says. What does this mean? We will not enter a body again. In the realm of lahut, in the form of our first creation, as nafs and soul, as a body, we will live. "Well, Hodja, this creation twice, is there a verse for it? You always tell me to show you a verse." Let me show you.

Let me show you. Surah Al-Mu'minun, 14. The verse. Look what you're saying.

Surah Al-Mu'minun, verse 14. Let's go in here from there. Let's write our thing here.

Look what it says.

"Then nutfa, alaqa. We made it a fertilised egg," it says. (?) "Then We made the alaqa into a small piece of flesh. We turned this small piece of flesh into bones, a skeleton. We covered these bones with flesh. Then We made him into a human with another creation." So this is the second creation. "Then We made him into a human with another creation." Spirit, nafs and soul. As spirit, (?) the spirit into the body. When we withdraw from the body and go, the spirit will taste death. "Every soul shall taste death," He says. Look now, let this tea be my body, and my spirit, nafs and soul be myself; I drank it.

Death has gone, but I tasted its pain. So this, until the Day of Judgement, until the other world, will stay under the ground. After that it will rise on the other side and bear witness to us about what we did in the world. O man, where did you come from, where will you go? What is your origin, your origin?

Your origin is spirit, nafs and soul. These skins you see: to prove in this realm what kind of person you are, Allah Almighty made this realm a play and amusement. And this play and amusement: the marriages we make, our children, a realm of play. Our earnings, a realm of play. But in one verse He says: this realm is not only play and amusement. So He says: O man, use your mind, reflect a little, return to your origin. Your origin is spirit, nafs and soul. "To prove in this world what kind of person you are, I clothed you in flesh and bone." Yunus Emre says so too. "We were clothed in flesh and bone," he says.

"We appeared as Yunus." Yes.

Do not be deceived by seeing yourselves like this. There is a driver in you, a driver. A true control. That control... actually Allah will not punish your body; how you used that body, how you drove it, what you made it do, the trust given to you, which way you used it: for that you will be called to account, He says. So this body is a trust. Use this trust well. Act and behave so as to hand this trust over to its owner. And thinking "how will I answer before Allah for this trust," in this world conduct your affairs accordingly.

Stay well. May you be entrusted to Allah. Lillahi Ta'ala. Al-Fatiha.

Amin, O Lord.

This, in the next lesson, you'll tell.
