Explanation
What is said in the video
Let us close this chest part, shall we? Otherwise it looks like something. You know, shopkeepers' kiosks, kind of. Yes. Yes. Now from here let us take (?). (?)
I told you.
The guest says. Some people claim that before Noah's flood people reached very advanced technology, and that with the flood technology was reset to zero again. Could Surah Qaf, verse 36, be proof of these claims?
The other roaming here (?) these days. No, sir. A question came every time. Not yet.
Our Lord says this about Paradise. I explained these. The seven shares in the sacrifice at the Festival of Sacrifice, I explained that too. You did not listen. After the shareholders of the main sacrifice gathered by the animal, the person slaughtering slaughtered the sacrifice without taking the proxy to slaughter from each shareholder one by one. What is the status of this sacrifice, he asks. Anyway, they all gave it to the one slaughtering. It is useful if the person who passes (?) says, I gave the proxy to him, but even so, you have already received it; deeds depend on intentions. Since it depends on intention, your deed saves you.
Yes.
This. Look, I think I read these of Surah Qaf. Did I not? It was brought to the 35th verse. Then the lesson is being held (?) in the meantime; did this one come? Yes. Then: some people claim that before Noah's flood people reached all things with very advanced technologies, and that with the flood technology was reset to zero again. Surah Qaf, verse 36. Could it be proof of this claim? Here it speaks of peoples before you who were stronger and roamed from land to land. I wonder whether here, I wonder, the roaming from land to land here points to there being technology similar to today's?
Samer Efendi, what do you understand here? Tell me.
I mean. Like the people.
Not that, to me.
Now, what they say, now, look, I will give my response one by one. I will prove it.
One must understand the meaning well.
Some people claim that before Noah's flood people had very advanced technology, and that with the flood technology was reset to zero again. No. They did not have very advanced technology. If they had had very advanced technology, Noah (peace be upon him) would not have built a ship out of wood, plank by plank.
That is one. Second, Allah Almighty did not make technology far advanced, rather technology came little by little, people's mental capacity opened little by little, and accordingly He sent prophets and gave those people duties according to the technology of their time without loading too much on them. We do not put on your backs a load you cannot bear. That is the verse. The best example of this: until Moses, Allah Almighty sent them as Nabi. That is, as tellers to their peoples. To tell of Allah, to make Him known. With Noah, a book comes.
The Torah. Then the Psalms. Then the Gospel. Look, it is increasing. Then the Quran.
Technology further back, bigger. If there had been great technology before Noah, Allah Almighty would have addressed them in this way too. How do you know, Hodja, that He did not address them too? Now we will refute that with this verse. Allah Almighty sends the Prophet (peace be upon him) as a mercy to the worlds. The worlds; if He sends him as a mercy to the worlds, and sends him last, with the multitude of his ummah, he says. Marry, multiply. I will take pride in the multitude of my ummah, he says. Now, people being tall like church pillars, carving out mountains and building palaces, does not mean these people were advanced in technology.
Yes. Allah Almighty saying that those people were like that, stronger than us, stronger, carved out mountains and built palaces, and then their being destroyed too, means that no one besides Allah, the absolute owner of this universe, remains forever in the world. Yes. Many events appear here. With their strength of that kind, and our doing here, with technology, much more than what they did. For example, tunnels being made through mountains.
When they set out to go to one side of the world, they did not go with technology. They went on foot. For them too there is this verse. We made roads for you between the mountains.
That is, people can have many (?). But always, since the mental capacity of the people who came developed more over time, Allah Almighty sent them prophets in a way they would understand. Yes.
There are no questions here. You can ask your question. Ask, let us see.
Page 143, 128. 143, 143. Page 128, a verse that has been interpreted wrongly. Now here, in the wrongly interpreted one, it says this. On the day Allah gathers them all together. Correct. That is, when we say it was interpreted wrongly, not all of the verses are wrong. One word spoils the verse.
On the day Allah gathers them all together. Where? At the place of gathering. The Day of Judgement will come. The earth another earth, He says. When the sky is another sky, when the earth is laid out completely flat, He says. We will water you with a water. The sea of secrets, with the water of secrets. Then from there we will go to the place of gathering.
O company of jinn and devils, you have had a great deal to do with people, He says. And their friends from among people say, our Lord, we benefited from one another. We have reached the end of the term You gave us, they say. And Allah says, except what Allah wills, the place where you will remain is the eternal fire. Surely your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing, it says. Here one word in the verse spoils the verse. What You will, it says, look. What You will. Whereas: except those who wish from Allah. Except those who wish from Allah. Except those who wish for Allah. Sir, where you will remain, and it is the eternal fire.
Surely your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing. Allah Almighty here describes those who deny Allah, jinn and people, and those who do not deny. Who are those who deny Allah? Non-Muslims. Now a non-Muslim says, I do not deny Allah. You do not deny Allah, but you attribute qualities to Allah Almighty; Allah Almighty is free of all deficient attributes; you accept Allah as a god with wife and children, whereas Allah has neither a child nor a wife; Surah Al-Ikhlas. So then, going against these verses, you accept Allah as needy like people, with wife and children. Whereas Allah is free of all deficient attributes.
He has neither wife nor child, nor any need of anyone else.
He has the attribute Hayy. What does this attribute Hayy mean? He gives life to all the worlds, but is free of the worlds, does not show any need for the worlds.
Well then, where is He? Look, from where? For this He confined those who show need within the seven heavens surrounded by the Throne of Allah. The seven heavens. Above the seven heavens is the Throne of Allah. After the Throne of Allah, the place where there is no time and space. So all created things that subsist through time and space are within this space, in need of Allah, and Allah Almighty, outside this space and time He created, in the place without time and space, is in the sense of not needing anyone.
Yes.
That is why Allah does not throw anyone into Hell by His own wish, or put anyone into Paradise by His own wish. Whatever each person wished from Allah, Allah wrote their destinies in response to their wishes, and those people, by coming into the world, prove what kind of people they are, and when they pass on to the hereafter, they will have made those around them and Allah Almighty witnesses, so that they are called to account for what they did. Because will is twofold. One is the universal will. The universal will: whatever He willed, He created. And the partial will is the human being. Whatever he asked of Allah Almighty with this will, Allah Almighty gave him what he asked. And He created this world to make him prove it to himself.
The spirit, the nafs and the soul are one. He clothed it with a body. With a second creation, Surah Al-Mu'minun, the 14th verse. With a second creation He clothed it in the outward body. After proving in the world what kind of person he is, the whole outcome will return like this; according to the verse in which He says your return is to Me, the spirit, the nafs and the soul will return to Allah, again in the first creation. And Allah Almighty already says, you will return to Me as I first created you, He says. Yes. As I first created you. But people cannot grasp this. They even take the body along into Paradise, even into Hell.
whereas the verse is very clear (?); what does it say in the verse? Allah Almighty: when you come to My presence with a driver, He addresses the body here; the driver is the spirit; We will silence your mouths, We will bind your feet, We will make your hands speak; then the spirit too will say, why are you speaking against me? And it says, my Lord, who makes me speak, makes me speak. And after the testimony is over, the body turns to the spirit. It says, you are being returned to the One who first created you. I am not saying this from my own mind. I am telling you the verses here. All of it is verses.
And there the body tastes death a second time.
What remains? The spirit, the nafs and the soul. The form of the first creation. Allah Almighty then turns to the spirit. You will not taste the pain of death again, apart from the first pain of death. That is, that Paradise and Hell are real, that people are freed from bodies and the body created from earth becomes earth, and that people in Paradise and Hell, in the form of the first creation, will either enjoy delight, enjoy it, or suffer torment and pain. Yes. Is that understood? Ask, let us see.
If they have questions, they can ask. Which one? 280. 180. Let us see. One hundred eighty, one hundred seventy-one, one hundred seventy-one, one hundred seventy-four, eighty, yes, Al-Anfal thirty- five, yes. Their prayer at the House of Allah is nothing but whistling and clapping hands. O disbelievers! Now taste the punishment for what you used to deny. Before the Prophet (peace be upon him) came, the House of Allah was full of idols.
The idol worshippers, the pagans, would strip stark naked and circle it, whistling and clapping their hands. That is what it is saying; what does the Truth say? Their prayer at the House of Allah is nothing but whistling and nakedness; so when you pass on to the hereafter, He says, O disbelievers, now taste the punishment for what you used to deny, come on, He says; He makes known that in the hereafter there is punishment for them, and that those who go like that will remain in torment in eternal Hell.
Ask about the parts you do not understand. Ask what you like. Ask whatever you want.
Let us look at page 424, what does it say?
417.
424, yes, the 53rd verse, on page 424. O you who believe, yes, here: O you who believe, without waiting for its time, unless you are invited to a meal, do not enter the houses of the Prophet; look how beautiful, here, to us, whether it is the Prophet or people. Allah Almighty addresses all of us by taking the Prophet as an example. Not only the Prophet. Unless you are invited to a meal, do not go to someone's house and say, I have come for the meal. Or do not sit down at their table. The reason: they may have been hungry for days. They found a piece of bread. They are going to eat it. You both eat the food they would eat and leave them hungry, and you also say, oh, I thought they were like this, it turns out there was nothing in their (?) either, and you fall into sin.
You hurt My servants, My patient servants. Yes. I congratulate you. O you who believe! Unless you are invited to a meal, without waiting for its time, do not enter the houses of the Prophet. But enter when you are invited. How beautiful. If you were invited, he has made preparations for you.
Do we not do the same? When we invite someone, they make cakes for him, they make pastries, they prepare meals (?). Yes.
When you have eaten the meal, disperse at once, it says. Give thanks, say your prayer, disperse at once. Because the host may have some things to do somewhere that day.
He has promised someone he will go in. But he has also told you, on such a day you are invited to me. On that day it became necessary to give his word to someone else. So, according to the verse "who is truer to his word than Allah", do not keep the person from keeping his word; why [stay] after the meal? Get up and go, it says.
Do not sit there chattering, it says.
Because an invitation to a meal is one thing, a conversation is another. When you go for a conversation, sit as long as you like for the conversation. But when you are invited to a meal, eat. Get up and go. One good side of this is also that, rather than sitting and getting an upset stomach, after eating a meal, it says, either take forty steps or lie on your back.
Yes. Let us read on, further: after you have eaten the meal, disperse at once, do not get absorbed in conversation, it says; look, see, it says it already; because this behaviour of yours upsets the Prophet, but he is shy to tell you this, because he has things to do; he cannot say, come on, go; just so, it tells the Prophet's [case] to us; there is a proverb: I am telling you, my daughter, so that you, my daughter-in-law, understand; Allah Almighty gives us an example through the Prophet so as not to hurt people. Yes, but he is shy to tell you this, but Allah does not shy away from telling the truth; how beautifully it says, Allah does not shy away from telling the truth. Because you are My servants.
I am your Creator. I sent you prophets and books to light your way. Some things the Prophet cannot tell you, what the Prophet did not say, I tell you from the Book, He says. Look, here He says, I am telling it from the verse. To light your way, so as not to upset you, to bring you ease, I must show you the way, says Allah Almighty; how beautiful. Because people were in darkness; We sent them books and prophets to light their way; so it lights our way like this. When you ask the Prophet's wives for something, ask from behind a curtain, it says.
How beautiful. Now this is a separate matter. It came. Behind a curtain. Turn my back. Behind a curtain is like that. Or look at the other. Yes. Do not look at her face. That is what He means by behind a curtain. You draw a curtain over your eyes, you know. Ah. In fact it is not a curtain, you see. You do see, though. But with those looks very different meanings come out. The Prophet's wives are our mothers. Yes. Perhaps some filth passes through the heart. Yes. That is why He wants it from behind a curtain. Yes.
This is a cleaner conduct both for your hearts, your hearts, and for their hearts. It is never permissible for you to upset the Messenger of Allah, nor to marry his wives after him; what did we say? She is our mother; it cannot be permissible; now do you know why this is similar? With us, if the verses do not match one another, they are (?); now, you have a wife, you married once more, and from her too you had a son; if you had another son from the wife you married second or third, when he grows up, can he marry your wife? She is his mother. We too are the Prophet's children. From the Prophet's wives, we are not from his spirit (?).
We cannot marry his wives; she is our mother. Now do you understand?
Yes. Yes. What did we say? All the prophets are in the spirit of our Noble Messenger, and in their spirits the spirits of the peoples. That is why the prophets are the elder and father of their people.
Because this is a great sin in the sight of Allah.
That is, its equivalent is a father's son marrying his father's wife. A sin. Tell me, what else do you want?
Hajj. About Hajj. Let us see Surah Al-Hajj. Surah Al-An'am, Surah Al-A'raf, Surah At-Tawbah. It is coming. 307, after Surah Maryam.
Surah Al-Hajj? Which number? 34. Yes. The 34th verse. For every nation We have made sacrifice necessary, so that they mention Allah's name over the suitable kinds of livestock We have given them as provision; every nation; look what it says: for every nation We have made sacrifice, of suitable kinds of livestock, that is, goat, sheep, calf, camel, you see? Of these, suitable, that is, for the one slaughtering, for what he can slaughter, you will be able to slaughter, yes, of livestock as provision, so that they mention Allah's name over what We have given them as provision, We have made sacrifice necessary; why does He say this? So that they mention Allah's name; why does He say it? Because the idolaters used to slaughter sacrifices for idols; for this reason a sacrifice slaughtered for idols is not eaten; a sacrifice slaughtered in Allah's name is eaten; in this sacrifice, because of the enmity between Cain and Abel, when he killed Abel; before Abel was killed, Allah Almighty asks for a sacrifice from Abel and Cain, to see whose sacrifice will be accepted, and Abel chooses the best one. And Cain takes whatever is weak.
Abel's sacrifice is accepted. And when Cain killed Abel, as a ransom for a life, when Allah Almighty, when Abraham took Ishmael to be sacrificed, it comes as a ransom for his life. So the sacrifices are sacrifices slaughtered as the ransom for our lives.
Allah Almighty, to save Ishmael's life, when Gabriel (peace be upon him) says Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar, Abraham looks and sees Gabriel (peace be upon him) bringing a great sacrifice. Inside, he struck Ishmael's neck, but it did not cut. Because Allah commanded the knife, it did not cut. Thereupon Abraham (peace be upon him) understands that Allah Almighty sent the sacrifice as a ransom for Ishmael's life; Allahu Akbar wa lillahi l-hamd, he says. Praise and glory be to Allah. Yes. So, for every nation, the sacrifice it slaughters as a ransom for life, in Allah's name, saying it should slaughter it, We made it (?).
Yes. We made it wajib. It is wajib. It was the 34th verse, was it not? Yes. We have made sacrifice necessary so that they mention [Allah's name], it says. Necessary. Wajib.
Now, your God is one God. Exercise (?). The absolute owner of the whole universe, besides whom there is no other creator, the creator of us all, one God. It is Allah. So submit to Him.
To our nafs, which is our enemy, to Satan, to the world, do not follow them. Do not follow what I created. Do not love them more than Me. If there is anyone to be loved most, it is Me. If there is anyone to be feared most, it is Me too. If what I created you worship as gods, or love them more than Me, and love what I created as provision for you more than Me, then you will have wronged your own soul. What does it say? Look, let us look again. Which verse was it? 34. 34. Look, what does it say? Now, your God is one God. So submit to Him. That is, do what He says. Go on His path. What does Allah Almighty tell us?
How will we go to Him? O people, Satan is your enemy; in the world, yellow ears of grain, shining gold, sons, it says, we incline to them; these too are our enemies; know your enemies well; the world, the nafs and Satan lead a person into the swamp. Reason, faith and Allah's inspiration are your friends. If you submit to Allah, with this reason of yours, with your faith, not with your nafs but with the inspiration Allah gives to the heart, you go on in the way of Allah. Yes. Give good news to those sincere and humble people, it says; look how beautiful; that sincere one says: at the end, not at the end of the world, but at the end of my life, when the term of life comes true, before Allah, who created the worlds and, holding me within these worlds as one addressed by His essence, created me, I will stand; He did not send me to this world as an amusement; He sent me to prove what kind of person I am.
So if I act in a way that will please my Lord, by His commands, then in the hereafter Allah Almighty [will say] to me, welcome (?). Let me tell you again here, as an example, the example we always give. You always say it. I am sending you to a foreign country. I put as much money as you want in your pocket. Whenever you need money somewhere, I send you your money. And wherever you go, you will phone me five times every day. Five times. You will phone me. You will apply there what I told you.
You leave.
When you get to that place, you see, oh, (?) people, naked people, desires of the nafs, so to speak, you get carried away by them.
With them, it is all music and dancing, partying. You also forget your phone call five times a day. Even if you remember, you do not make the call either.
When your money runs out there, the money is sent to you. But I do not phone. Do not. I gave you a term there, understood. You will stay there one month, two months, three months. Then you will come back. Because the one who sent you guarantees all your living there. And I send you this money. After three months you come back. With what face will you come to me?
Did you phone me? Did you do what I said? There. Look how nice you are, he says. Let me look at that place. Yes. So submit to Him; O Muhammad, give good news to those sincere and humble people; give good news to those who fulfil His command, those who do it in the life of the world; yes, why has this place gone up like this? 3 questions have come; let us see our questions. Guest 05, the guest says, peace be upon you, sir; when entering some holy places, what is the virtue of entering with the right foot and leaving with the left foot? Could you explain? May Allah be pleased with you.
Into mosques, nicely like this, when entering the places Allah has made sacred, that is, made beautiful, we enter with our right foot. What is the reason? The reason: if we are to pass away, we fall there, along with the right foot, inside; and when entering toilets, bad places, we enter with our left foot; what is the reason? When death comes, since you will fall not on your left foot but on your right foot, so that you do not fall into a filthy place, you fall back the way you came; and from the toilet we leave with our right foot. What is the reason? There are two reasons. First, when we are to die, we do not fall into a filthy place; we fall outside.
Second, since it is a more honourable place than the toilets we entered with the left foot, here and there, we enter those places with our right foot. That is why we leave the toilet with our right foot too. Yes.
Peace be upon you, sir. In my other question, a friend says, I love praying. That is why I pray the final sunnahs, which are two rak'ahs, as four rak'ahs, he says. Is there any harm in this? May Allah be pleased with you. I kiss your hands, sir, he says.
The final sunnah is two rak'ahs. What is the final sunnah? You pray four rak'ahs.
Prayer is beautiful, but keep praying two rak'ahs. Then, if you love prayer, pray as much prayer as you like.
Because the Prophet does not show us anything pointless.
For four-rak'ah prayers, if you have prayers you did not pray in the past, those four rak'ahs, the sunnah, in place of those obligatory prayers count. If you have dawn prayers you did not pray in the past, those two rak'ahs too, in their place, count.
If you are going to pray it in four minutes, pray the two, then go on afterwards and pray as much more as you like. First fulfil the sunnah, the Sunnah.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) does not show us anything in vain.
Now, if you like, you may not pray the sunnahs at all; by praying the obligatory ones you fulfil the command.
A Bedouin, it says, a Bedouin comes to the Prophet: Allah Almighty sent the prayers as how many rak'ahs, at how many times? He says, the dawn prayer is two rak'ahs, the noon prayer four rak'ahs, the afternoon four rak'ahs, the evening three rak'ahs, I am not counting the sunnahs, the night prayer four rak'ahs, and also three rak'ahs of witr, wajib, he says. Well, if I did not pray these prayers, if I prayed these prayers but never prayed the sunnahs, if I prayed no other prayer; he does not say sunnah. If I prayed no other prayer, would I go to Paradise, he says. If your good deeds, he says, are more than your sins, I will be your guarantor for entering Paradise.
What does this mean? You fulfilled Allah's command. You prayed them all, so no obligatory debt remained on you. And the answer: on entering Paradise, if he prayed but his sins are more, there is no guarantor for him. Because Allah Almighty will judge with justice. If Allah forgives, He forgives.
However much the Prophet (peace be upon him) will intercede, outside the command of Allah Almighty no one will be interceded for. So it is with His servants who will intercede.
Yes.
Say the testimony of faith, let me see.
When you say this, what are you putting your finger on?
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. This word has five obligations.
Count the obligations, let me see.
Saying the testimony of faith. Did you say it? Praying. Fasting. Giving zakat. Going on Hajj. Who said there is no such thing (?). You enter into it right at the start. Yes, how beautiful, is it not?
Here: peace be upon you, sir; in one of my questions a friend says, I love praying; we told him nicely. Peace be upon you, sir: why is the Kaaba circled seven times? What is the virtue of the seven circuits (?)? May Allah be pleased with you, sir, he says. In a person there are seven states of the nafs: nafs al-ammara, nafs al-lawwama, nafs al-mulhima, nafs al-mutma'inna, nafs ar-radiya, nafs al-mardiyya, nafs as-safiya. The nafs al-ammara has said the testimony of faith. No prayer, no fasting, no zakat. By his words he goes to Paradise. The nafs al-lawwama has prayer, has fasting. It has two faces. If it turns to piety, nafs al-mulhima.
If it turns back, it returns to the nafs al-ammara. When you reach the nafs al-mulhima, turning to piety and rising to the mulhima, you enter the door of miracles. There too, if you do not look at that miracle, you rise to the nafs al-mutma'inna. There, "O soul at peace, return to your Lord, well pleased and pleasing; go among My servants, go into My Paradise": you fall into the state of the people He speaks of. After that there is the nafs ar-radiya. (?). Nafs al-mardiyya. The Qutb al-A'zam. Nafs as-safiya. The Qutb al-A'zam. The one who brings out (?) from the religion. Now, since there are seven states of the nafs, we circle seven times, and there we complete our Hajj sinless, as if newly born from our mother.
That is why we go around seven times.
This is what I know. If you know something, tell me too.
Its meaning is a person's own state of the nafs. Yes. It indicates that he has subjected his own state of the nafs to Allah's command. Your going there. It is your submission to Him. Here is another verse for you.
When you come for Hajj and circle My House, do not boast as you boasted of your mother and father in the time of ignorance, it says. What does this mean? My mother was a saint, my father was a scholar. Is it of any benefit to you? Everyone will be called to account for what he himself did. But you used to boast of them. Thinking it would benefit you. Then your time of ignorance passed. You understood that they would be of no benefit to you. You knew Me as Creator and Forgiver, you came to Me. From now on, He says, go on My path. Do not boast of your mother and father. If there is anyone to boast of, it is Me, He says.
Boast of Me. But Hodja, does a person boast? Look what it says: if you seek honour and dignity, honour and dignity are with Allah, it says. Does a person not boast of his honour and dignity? Does he not take pride?
There is a person without honour and there is a person with honour.
Let me see, is there anything else?
Peace be upon you, Hodja. In Surah Al-Hajj, verse 34, which you read a moment ago, He says, We have made sacrifice necessary for every nation. While sacrifice is mentioned in the verse this way, why is it not fard but wajib, he asks.
If sacrifice is mentioned in the verse this way, sacrifice is mentioned as a ransom for the life of something. Whose? As a ransom for the life of Ishmael, or of people. It is mentioned as the ransom for our lives. But in essence (?) it is worship of Allah. For this reason, since we fulfil Allah's command, as a ransom for our lives it is wajib. But when Allah says, do these in the way He has made known to us, they become fard.
It is that simple. Yes. Is it time? What time is it? There are 46 more. Ask what you like.
Page.
By Allah, 155 came up. 44.
The people of Paradise to the people of Hell: we have found what our Lord promised us to be true. Look. Here, now, those who fulfil Allah's promise and those who do not. What does it say here? We found what Allah promised to be true. That is, Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh, we said. We affirmed that there is no other owner of this universe besides Allah. When we said Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, we affirmed all the prophets too. After that, however many sins you have, when you go to the hereafter like this, you will certainly suffer your punishment in Hell, and still go to Paradise; this much (?); but here it is speaking of those who enter Paradise; now, we found what our Lord promised us to be true; have you too found what your Lord promised you to be true? it says; now it asks them, in Hell; you denied Allah, you called Jesus (?) and Mary His wife, you said Ezra was His son; now, that Allah has no wife or child, that in this way the non-Muslims attributed qualities to Allah, and that your eternal place is Hell, have you found it true?
Have you found it true? Yes, it calls out; yes, they say too. How does this happen, one in Paradise, one in Hell? Well, this is like a video phone, of course; a phone with video; you are on the other side of the world, we talk on the phone; all, all of it here is something created with knowledge. Yes.
And between them a caller, you know, as they show on television, a caller cries out, may Allah's curse be upon the wrongdoers, it says. You know, you are the people of eternal Hell, it says. What is a curse? It is cutting off all connection with them from then on. How does He cut off the connection? When Allah's mercy is lifted from a person, when it is lifted from people, no prophet, no one with intercession will intercede for him, and they will walk away; so there, Allah's curse becomes theirs, because there is no mercy any more; yes, eternal Hell; no; if they go denying Allah, look, if they go denying Allah; if they go saying the testimony of faith, they will still go to Paradise, yes, but they will never be tormented in the fire like one of the people of Hell.
Yes.
Which one? Page (?) 517. 18.
Yes. 518. It has come. Which one is Surah Qaf? 30-31, 30-31, 32. On that day We say to Hell, are you full? And it says, is there more? We explained this last time too. This is a word said in a figurative sense. And it says, is there still more? Look. On that day We say to Hell, are you full? And it says, is there more? Is there still more? Since Allah Almighty will not create beings for Hell again, He fills it with the foot of His power. That is, what He means by the foot of power is that He will not create beings for Hell again. Because all have been created. Outwardly and beneath, if all are to enter Hell (?).
And what does it say? And Paradise will be brought near to the God-fearing, not far off, it says. Paradise will be brought near to the God-fearing. To the God-fearing. That is, We will keep them far from Hell, it says. This is the Paradise promised to you, for those who turn to Allah and observe His commands, it says. I have been explaining the rules for a while now.
There is still more; that is, it is telling how wide it is; Hell is very wide, very wide in that sense, but We will not create new beings there, because I am not unjust, says Allah Almighty; I am not unjust; I created you for My essence to be known; you did wrong; you denied the blessings I gave, He says; although I created you, you denied Me; you worshipped what I created. You took the provision I gave as coming from them. You denied Me, He says. Today your place is here, forever here. Even there they still will not recognise Allah. Because they await a Lord according to their own fancies, the Lord in their fancies will come, they will take revenge on Allah.
And they say to Malik, tell your Lord to lighten the torment on us a little. They cannot say it to our Lord. And Allah Almighty, in His verse, if only they knew us here; he does not know. That is, because he cannot know. Their destinies were written so.
It is very deep. Yes. Tell me, where else is there? Has a question come? There is a question on the fortieth verse. There is a question on the fortieth verse of Surah Qaf. And in part of the night, and after the prostrations, glorify Him, it says. Here it is referring to the tahajjud prayer. Pray the tahajjud prayer and glorify Him. That is, remember Allah. Because getting up at night, breaking your sleep, and worshipping Allah out of love for Him, additionally, as extra, and remembering Allah, raises your rank. Indeed, here, in part of the night, that is, before the time of imsak begins, I am saying this; the best prayer for remembering Allah, giving up sleep and getting up at night to pray to Allah, is an hour before imsak.
An hour and ten before. An hour and ten minutes before, or fifty minutes before. Get up. He does not ask much of you. Two rak'ahs at a time. Eight rak'ahs. Pray the tahajjud prayer. Two rak'ahs at a time. And pray four rak'ahs of (?) prayer. Twelve rak'ahs. After that take the prayer beads in your hand. The most
one of the remembrances that will bring you closest to Allah. Whoever says it, whoever recites it most, stands in the state of being closest to Allah. After that, Subhanallahi wal-hamdu lillahi wa la ilaha illallahu wa Allahu akbar. And say, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi l-aliyyi l-azim. Remember this without stopping. After that say Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi, and whatever comes to mind, remember your Lord. Until imsak begins. After imsak begins there are also some lessons. You do that. Why are you doing it? So that 15 minutes pass. 10-15 minutes. The dawn prayer is not prayed right at imsak.
You know, you get up, you make ablution, let 10-15 minutes pass. Then within those 10-15 minutes let him finish his glorifications. You pray the sunnah of the dawn prayer. Then you say the iqamah and pray the fard. May Allah grant you safety. You lie down. If you have work, you go to work. How beautiful.
Yes.
Listen for the day when the caller will call from a near place.
What is this? The Day of Judgement will come.
When people again sprout from the earth like grass, there is no shirking (?). They will be drawn out and return. Let us call, it says. Listen for the day He calls. Yes. On that day people will truly hear this cry. This is the day of coming forth, that is, the day of coming forth from the earth. Surely We give life and cause death. And the return is only to Us. What beautiful questions. And people are asleep.
Is there anything else? It is time, I suppose, is it not?
We end our lesson here. Stay well. Go with Allah's protection.
Amin. O my Lord.
We are explaining here, you see. Let it continue until it is explained. Then I will turn it off.
