Talk of 2 December 2025

What is said in the video

Pardonur (?) our child says this: Once again I give thanks that I have come to know you, Allah has granted it. The reason for your existence has once again been proven: the books you wrote against these verses of the Quran that are knowingly mistranslated made us feel lucky once more. May Allah be pleased with you. We do not use the word "luck" in Islam. Luck is the word for something that happens by chance.

Allah Almighty has left nothing to chance. Until the Day of Judgement there is not a single living being of which We do not know what it will do; according to this verse, the thing called luck does not exist. One day I was looking for something in a room with the Prophet (peace be upon him). I say to the Prophet like this: O Messenger of Allah, I am such a lucky person, and as soon as I said it, he said to me, somewhat angrily: what does luck mean? What does luck mean, he said. There is no luck, he said. I said: what I wanted to say, O Messenger of Allah, is that being with you, living with you, being together with you, is not granted to everyone, that is what I wanted to say.

That is why there is no luck. The word luck is a word that we say by mistake, with our tongue, with some of our deficient words. May Allah forgive us.

They say "games of luck". They are not games of luck, they are gambling. That is why everyone has a destiny. People living within their destiny cannot step outside their destiny. So since one cannot step outside destiny, there is neither chance nor luck. Yes, it is from our weakness (?), my child. Wait like this.

A guest, a guest says: peace be upon you, Hodja, 87. Surah Al-A'la, verse 7, 87. If you read Surah Al-A'la, verse 7, one you never forget what you have read. How should we understand the verse? From your blessed hands, my respected Hodja. Allah Almighty says this about the Prophet (peace be upon him). Let's see. Let's read it here.

Surah Al-A'la.

We will look now.

85, 87, Al-A'la Surah. Since we have opened Surah Al-A'la, let's read it from the beginning, we have time anyway. Since my eyes are also troubled, they water, and sometimes they don't see at all because of the tears now. If I wipe the tears from my eyes, God willing, Let us open the verses from the beginning of Surah Al-A'la.

Glorify and sanctify the name of your Lord, the Most High. Yes. The one who created us, sanctify the exalted name of our Lord, that is, glorify Him with respect and reverence and majesty, because Allah, who created from nothing, the owner, we our Lord the owner, in His capacity as our Lord being our owner, offers us all the blessings there are on land, at sea and in the air. Allah, our Lord, who is our owner, created man above all created beings, created him as the noblest of creatures, and all His blessings He offered to man, and He took man as a mirror to His essence. He adorned him with the most beautiful attributes.

And the most beautiful attributes are Allah Almighty's. He gave a small part of His attributes to people.

That Lord who created and then proportioned. So in the finest form: 'laqad khalaqna al-insana fi ahsani taqwim', and He said: I created man in the most beautiful form.

He who measured and guided; when I sent people into the world, He says, they were in darkness. We sent them prophets and books. We lit up their paths. We did not wrong them. My mercy has always surpassed My wrath. I treat them with My mercy. I created people deficient, deficient in (?). They sin knowingly or unknowingly. I opened the door of repentance, so that they turn back to Me. Yes.

He brought forth green pasture. That is, the fruits on the trees and the greenery of the plants on the earth, which of them will you count? Allah Almighty in Surah Ar-Rahman: which of the blessings He has given will you deny? These greens He speaks of, from cucumbers to (?), to cucumbers, to vegetables, whatever you want, whatever comes to mind, let My servants eat. If they can't taste this one, let them taste that one. How much He loves people: the 63, 65 taste organs on the tongue He placed there so that they eat with pleasure from all kinds of vegetables and fruits. If you pay attention to animals, they taste from two or three things. From grass. Some from meat.

In this way, the flying ones in animals (?), let's say, from seeds or from worms, the animals in the sea from fish. That's all. Each separately takes one or two kinds of its food. To us Allah Almighty has poured out taste upon taste. Then He turned it into dark, dry stubble. That is, Allah Almighty first created it, then He gave it its seed. Then with that seed, when you plant it, scatter it into the soil, it will turn green again anew. But when it falls to the soil, those seeds themselves dried up and became straw, He says. Or if you ate it, it became food for you.

Surely Allah knows what is open and what is hidden, He says.

This is a verse corresponding to that other verse. Allah knows the secrets of your hearts, He says. The secrets of the hearts. What lies in the remotest corner of your heart, which you yourselves do not know, your Lord knows. How does He know? He created us in the realm of Lahut. There we were divided into three groups. He introduced His essence. He said: I am your Lord. After that, with verse 172 of Surah Al-A'raf we made a covenant. This covenant of ours became our destiny. That is why we cannot step outside our destiny. So our Lord, who wrote our destiny, knows what we hide and what we reveal. He also knows how we will depart in the end.

By what does He know? He programmed these worlds and all who will come until the Day of Judgement. He knows from within that program. Now here we have come to a mistranslated verse. We will make you recite the Quran. Then you will never forget, except what Allah wills. Now here Allah Almighty has been given an attribute. So it means Allah Almighty will make the others forget. Look. He will make the others forget. Only whom? He will not make the Prophet forget. Yet Allah's willing over people does not exist that way. Man is put to the test by his own will, and for the good or bad deeds he has done he receives reward and sin.

Here, when it says "what Allah wills", if a person, by his own deeds, does not read the Quran and says "I forgot, so I didn't read it", whose fault is it here? You would say: Allah Almighty made me forget as He willed, You made me forget. Yet such a thing does not befit Allah. He sent man into the world to prove what kind of person he is. Well, in this case, does Allah Almighty take away our will and drag us into wrong? is it? He wants My servant always to be perfectly upright. Who speaks more truly than Allah? According to the verse where He says "I always speak the truth", Allah Almighty wants us to be truthful.

Would He make us forget? This is about the Prophet. Look, now we are reading the correct version. We will make you recite the Quran. You will never forget, except the one who asks of Allah. Who is the one who asks of Allah? Let's say I have memorised the Quran. But time passes and I forget. Now, we were created from the group of the forgetful. If we had not forgotten some of the things that happened to us, life would be bitter for us and would become unbearable. We forget what we suffered in the past. We rejoice in the mercies we attain anew. That is why the Prophet will never forget, and in the world there is no person who does not forget.

At the very least he forgets one letter of it. Or he reads it incompletely. Yes.

The verse says this. It does not mean anything else. How should we understand the verse, he asks. The verse: since we cannot hand over the Quran in a single day, that is, since we cannot complete it in one day, even if we do it in three days, in five days, we get confused even in some verses we have read all our lives. And we skip them even though we know them. Or someone reminds us. Or we open the Quran and remember that verse again. That is why this will never happen with the Prophet (peace be upon him). Why will it not happen? I suppose our guest child is asking about this. Or wants to learn about this.

His spiritual vision is open.

At the birth of Jesus, at his birth, when his mother brought him to her people, to Mary: say, I am fasting, and let the child speak, it says. There, his mind is open, his vision is open. He also knows how to speak of the hereafter. Because his mind is open, he answers the questions put to him. He says: in the future I will be your prophet. Believe in me, he says. In this case, since the Messenger of Allah too was a person whom Allah Almighty, our Lord, had taught beforehand, "My Lord raised me. He raised me well." And to complete good character, when he came into the world there, the Prophet: remember, it says, this verse, remember this, that is, there he knows this and this book too.

And you did not know that this book would come to you, it says. He sends the Book as a mercy to his community. In this case, except for the Messenger of Allah, many people forget this. That is, they forget some verses. It does not mean they all forget the whole Quran. If it meant forgetting the Quran, God forbid, one would have turned his back and left Islam, he would have come to that state. My brother in Islam, my guest brother, this is not so that we fall into such bad thoughts. Here, gently, it shows that however fine people's minds may be, they cannot reach the Prophet. Yes.

What else? Let's see what it says. We will make you recite the Quran. Except the one who asks of Allah. You will never forget. Except the one who asks of Allah. Yes. That is, except the one who asks of Allah. That is, there will also be those who do not forget, but still they forget.

As I said before, why does Allah Almighty call us "insan" in the form of man? The meaning of "insan" is "the forgetful ones". Insan actually comes from (?), gifted, and then the group of the forgetful; according to this verse, whoever it is, throughout his life, even what he reads constantly, sometimes he skips one letter or some letters. Or he gets confused and stops there. This does not mean he has forgotten it. It is a remembering again. But with the Messenger of Allah this never happens like that. Yes. Guest Ergün says: thank you, Hodja, I asked everywhere, nobody answered like you. They said different things.

You can't do it, you can't do it, they said. Because the lot was drawn for your father.

Because the lot was drawn. You can't do it, they said, he says. They said. Because the lot was drawn for your father. If the lot was drawn for your father and he cannot go, and years have passed since then,

let's read that part again, look what it says here. I have no strength physically or financially, he says, I am giving the proxy, but because he has no means, I am giving it, for the Hajj, but he does not accept; the Hajj came up, after 16 years: I will pay my Hajj duty, so you go and do the Hajj on my behalf, he says. How nicely he says it: son, I can no longer go, he says. The situation 16 years ago is one thing, the situation now is another. Allah Almighty says a person will go when he finds the means. He did not find the means. Old age has come. Unable to walk. How can I go now? How can I perform Hajj, he says. And I have no money.

According to the situation back then, Allah Almighty says, he has money, he will go. Then the money was used up to make up some shortfalls. Now the Hajj has fallen from him. And on top of that he is old. This time his son, out of respect for his father, how nice. Father, you go. How nice. Respect for one's elder. And he speaks to his son with such humility. My son, I don't have the strength. You go. I am giving you my proxy. He says, but if the son wishes, he goes as proxy in his father's place and gives the Hajj to his father. But if he wishes, since the father told him "go, you go", he goes on Hajj himself.

Yes. Because he has money, the Hajj has come up for him too. If he has the money while waiting for the Hajj, the son can go himself in place of that money. Don't look at the others. They all tell superstitions. Most, let's not say all, most tell superstitions.

Guest Ergün says: thank you, Hodja. Yes. We read that. Peace be upon you, Hodja. Surah Maryam, verse 57. Could you explain the verse, he asks. Surah Maryam, Hodja, 53, page 488, 53. page, page 488, Hodja, Ash-Shura 53, page 488. Here, Surah Maryam it says, 50... These are two questions, I suppose; this one Hacı Aleoğlu says. Let's say this first: Surah Maryam, let's read verse 57 first, then we read Hacıoğlu's verse thing. Surah Maryam. Yes, sir.

Surah Maryam. Which verse? Verse 53.

52, 53. Yes, Surah Maryam 53. It says verse 57. Not 53, 57.

He says: We raised him to a high station. Yes.

Here it speaks of the prophet Idris. Mention Idris in the Book, he was a prophet. We raised him to a high station. What is this high station?

The station of the prophets. Even though they are superior to one another, from the prophets, the seven paradises, the seventh paradise, from among people,

people who rise to nafs-i safiye and become aware of the secret, these too will be in the same paradises as heirs of the prophets. But because they are superior to one another, let's say if one has a palace, the other has a somewhat bigger palace. If one's palace has fifty rooms, the other's has eighty rooms. Like that. Some have, sir, palaces. Some have properties on a mountain top, properties, big buildings, further below, where the inside cannot be seen through the glass but the outside can be seen, big mansions, with pools inside, in the garden, in the (?), flowers and fruits. You see, they are divided like this, but they are in the same paradise.

So in terms of rank, He raises him there as well. Indeed, if I take it from earlier: 'And mention Ishmael in the Book, O My Messenger; truly he was in his word true to his word. He was a messenger, a prophet. He used to command his people to prayer and zakat. He was one with whom his Lord was well pleased.' Mention Idris in the Book. You see, here Allah Almighty speaks of the prophets. He speaks of their stations. That they are great persons. He says that they are prophets. And He says that their ranks are very high. Yes.

Surah Maryam, verse 57. Go on. There, although the station of Idris (peace be upon him) is high, still the prophets are of the same rank, and their buildings are different. For example, let's say the seventh paradise is Istanbul, let's say. In Istanbul, all the prophets, and those who have reached that secret. The places of people who have become aware of the secret of secrets. Great persons. Sir, who have given themselves to Allah. Who have surrendered their soul to their Lord. The places of people who have attained the secret of 'there is no existent but Allah'. The heirs of the prophets.

After that, further below, the great poles (kutbul azam), after that, the places of people kneaded with Allah's knowledge. Seven paradises. The eighth paradise, the Praised Station (Makam-ı Mahmud), He gave it to the Prophet. And the Prophet will stay there with his family, sir, and our minds cannot even grasp it. One day I was in Medina. When I saw the grandeur of the place: my Allah, this is a very great place, and very beautiful. There is no such palace on earth, I said. I said: even if You do not (?), that is, destroy it at the Day of Judgement, in the hereafter, to the Prophet, if You give it, and as I said this, an inspiration from Allah Almighty came to my heart like this.

The realm of the hereafter, the world is a shadow of the hereafter. Even the greatest particle of the world, even the most magnificent, is like a shadow of the realm of the hereafter. And this, He said, We will roll up and throw into Hell. You cannot even imagine the Praised Station, He said. True. Then I was ashamed of what I had said. Yes.

Hodja, Surah Ash-Shura, verse 53, 488. Page 488. Page

488. Ash-Shura, Ash-Shura 53. Verse: That path is the path of Allah, to whom belong the heavens and the earth. Beware, all matters return to Allah in the end. Here, that path, when it says it is the path of Allah, look, that path is the path of Allah, to whom belong the heavens and the earth. Beware, all matters return to Allah in the end.

No one is everlasting in this world. Every soul shall taste death, and in the end your return is to Me, He says. Allah Almighty sent people into the world to prove what kind of people they are. Allah Almighty, who made a covenant with us in verse 172 of Surah Al-A'raf, because He showed us His essence, there some of us believed in our Lord, some of us denied, and some of us were the class of those brought near, those foremost, people who know Allah Almighty. In this case, all paths will return to Allah. We will be called to account at the Great Court. The end of those paths is the Great Court. After that it will divide in two.

One Paradise, the other Hell. If we read a verse further up, there is a mistranslated verse. Let's read from there. And thus We revealed the Quran to you too by Our command, it says. These are the ways of the Quran. You did not know what the Book is or what faith is. Because he never saw a school or a madrasa. His grandfather put him in school. At school the teacher told him: say Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

The Prophet was still a child.

What does this mean, he asked his teacher. This is a phrase we have always said when we begin something. If you tell me its meaning, then I will say it, he said. And his teacher said: are you defying me? He put him out of the classroom, and he started to cry. His wet nurse, mother Halima, was passing by there. When she sees him crying, he tells her what happened. And she goes and tells his grandfather. His grandfather comes and says to the teacher: why did you say this to him? And he says: whenever we start a task, we always say Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. We told him, he didn't answer. He said: tell me its meaning.

I will say it after that, he said. And I said he is setting (?) a bad example for the children. I put him outside, he said. His grandfather said: do you know its meaning? I know it, he said. Well then, say it, he said. The letter Be of the Basmala stands for Allah's oneness, the letter Mim for His being free of place, the letter Sin for His secret, that He alone holds the secret; when he said this: my son, he said, there is no need for you to study. His grandfather took him out and did not send him to school. Yes. That's how it is. We revealed the Quran. You did not know what the Book is, what faith is. But We made it, for whomever We will of Our servants, by it, look, here "whom We will" keeps coming up, do you see?

It comes to look as if Allah Almighty discriminates among His servants. According to the basis of Zionism, they have always blamed Allah. Whatever He wills, I am Your servant too. What was my fault? You created me. Why didn't You give it to me? Isn't that so? We are all Allah's servants. From China to Azerbaijan, all the people born into the world from our father Adam, Allah created them. Those to come, Allah created them too. So does Allah discriminate among His servants? According to the verse where He says, you see, My mercy has surpassed My wrath.

So the prophets are a separate group. And the Prophet (peace be upon him) is the first light Allah Almighty created and the one He gave of His spirit. These worlds were created from his light. That is why he received the name "ve ma erselnake illa rahmeten lil alemin". Yes. Allah judges with His justice. From his spirit He created the spirits of His prophets. In Surah Al Imran, verse 81, to His prophets: I to you send a prophet as a helper to you, will you help him? And they said: yes, we will. And Allah Almighty said: I too am among the witnesses with you. Did He say that to you? Did He say that to us?

He gave us our wish. Whatever we wanted, He gave us.

Yes, like this they always blame Allah. By which, to the right path, We made it a light by which We guide; and surely you too are showing a right path, it says. There, the right path it speaks of is the straight path, a path that leads to Allah, that is, a person bound by Allah's commands, who recognises no god other than Allah and is bound by what He says. Sirat al-mustaqim, the straight path. The path to Paradise. A path that will please Allah. Yes.

Now let's see here, is there another question?

Another question, no. Today our child Alparslan became a little unwell, Hodja, he said, in my place you, you won't keep people waiting, God willing, he said. I said: they are our children, would we keep them waiting? And we said we will try to explain to them, God willing.

Now ask whatever you want to ask. And I will explain it to you. Ask whatever you want. Ask whatever you want from A to Z.

Yes.

What you do not know, what people do not know, my Lord let me live through it. With the verses of the Quran. That is why, ask from wherever you like. I will answer you. I will answer with the verses of the Quran.

I am waiting.

Yes.

...? Or are people at the highest degree of nafs-i mutmainne also included in this group of those brought near? Look how nicely our guest child asks. The class of those brought near, nafs-i raziye, the class of certain knowledge (ilmelyakin), the scholars. Nafs-i marziye, the great pole (kutbul azam), nafs-i safiye, the pole of poles (kutbul aktab). What is nafs-i mutmainne? The gate of divine manifestations. Now, ask. When it says the group of those brought near, these are the saints, the scholars, I counted them, didn't I; the martyrs are included in this class. Who are those included in this class?

The martyrs. The scholars raised by Allah,

the prophets,

the great poles, the poles of poles. These are the class of those brought near.

While I was writing the commentary of the Quran, I came to a verse.

There Allah Almighty praises the martyrs greatly. I am telling what happened to me. These are not stories.

In that verse the martyrs call out like this. What are you waiting for? Look, our Lord welcomed us with such smiling faces. You come too. Hurry, it says.

There I was very moved. And I said: I am not writing the book.

In truth the one who writes the book is me in appearance; the one who makes it written is Allah. Because I have no outward knowledge. I write whatever my Lord said. I started crying. I won't write anymore, I said. We couldn't even become martyrs. After that, after some time had passed, my Lord, through inspiration to my heart, said: get up, wash your hands and face. I went, washed my hands and face, came back and sat down. Have you never heard, He said: the ink of the scholars is like the blood of the martyrs. It was then that I felt relieved and started writing. Yes. The Quran commentary we wrote, the commentaries of the verses, are not words written with reason.

Yes. That is why, ask whatever you want.

What you do not ask stays with me. Ask.

I don't know which one to tell. What do you want? But if you open with a question, the question is the gate of knowledge, it says. And I will tell you. Let's see, is there anything else here? A question.

Aycanur says:

Yes. My husband treats my mother and father very disrespectfully. How shall I handle this, it hurts me a lot. He gives me as the reason. Yet it was he himself who broke my relations with his mother and father. He did it like that. Two, he did it so that he himself would not talk to my family, not see them. I feel very ashamed before my father and mother, my siblings. He came to own a little worldly wealth, and he got puffed up. He looked down on us. He was supposedly a religious man. Nothing of it is left. I await your prayers. Here, you too made a small mistake. The mistake I call small is a big mistake.

In the old days, in my childhood, when girls got married, they would instruct their daughter. And they would instruct the other side, his mother and father. My daughter, the house you go to is now your nest, your homeland. His mother is your mother, his father is your father. Now your flesh is there, your bones are with us, they would say. However much he told you to treat your mother and his father (?) badly, you were not supposed to do it. And his mother and father are like your own mother and father. You were not supposed to fall for his words. Even if quietly, even without his knowing, you were supposed to go and talk with your mother and father.

This present state of his, excluding your mother and father, when your husband wanted to cut you off from his mother and father, you, with that mother and father, if you had kept up contact and told his own mother and father about this state of his, they would have been on your side. We do not know how to win hearts.

We always puff up our ego. The nafs is our enemy.

Satan tempts the self. He pulls it toward the world. The top enemy. If we do not follow our nafs, then with our reason, our faith, and the inspiration our Lord gives our heart, and with those beautiful feelings that faith has given, we would both embrace the mother and father of both sides, and also attribute the appearance of such states only to the person himself; it humbles him. It puts him in a lowly position. In this case the believer is the mirror of the person opposite him. That person sees it in the believer. That is why, it says, if you read four books in a day, what are the four books? The Torah, the Psalms, the Gospel and the Quran.

If you read the four books, if you completed the Quran in one day, what use is it if you have broken a heart, it says. Now, leave this subtlety aside. We have no idea even of (?).

There is no notion of family left in our homes.

Men have been pushed out of their manhood. Man means a strength, a refuge, a symbol of justice. Man. You leave the one at home who has a right over you, and chase after those walking around stark naked on the street.

There, will a person be disgraced? This is how. Will a person grovel? This is how he grovels. Will a black stain be smeared on a person's face? This is how it is smeared. According to our religion, will a person be (?)? This is how he becomes (?). He thinks: I got away. He does not get away. However much he imposes his rule in this world, this rule comes to Allah's door and stops there. That is why, do not hold yourselves to account by what people do. As much as you can, explain the truth and the right path to them. Money is the dirt of a person's hand. Like when he washes his hand with soap and then with water, it is a thing that vanishes like that soap foam.

Why is it like this? Because Allah tests us with our lives and our wealth from directions we do not know. That is the verse. And you suddenly find you have been slapped from somewhere. Your wealth is gone and your life too. You suddenly find you have had an accident. Even if you spend your wealth, you cannot find your health. That is why, whatever anyone does, he lives his own destiny, his own swamp of a world. Do not give way on the straight path, on the truth, on his mother and father, on your own mother and father. In the verse Allah Almighty says: if their old age is spent with you, do not even say "ugh" to them.

If we want our hereafter, if we want to win both this world and the hereafter, we will both win their hearts and get along nicely with them in good contact, and Allah Almighty, our Lord who is our owner, will welcome us with a smiling face in the realm of the hereafter. This is life, this is living. This is also the peace that comes to our hearts.

Hodja, won't Allah ever give us any calamity? He will. He will. He gives more to those He loves. But to some of them He also makes known how it ends. And to some, so as not to load on their back a burden they cannot carry, He gives little by little, little by little. Little by little. He makes it complete. For example, let's say He will give you a penalty of a thousand lira, He will reduce it from your wealth, but a thousand lira would hurt you. What will He do? He takes out a hundred lira once, two hundred lira once, fifty lira once, four hundred lira once. And you say: I can't get free of calamity. In truth He is showing you such a favour that if Allah gave you that calamity all at once, you would be crushed under it. Or you would say to Allah Almighty: what did I do, have I done something so bad that I deserve to be wronged (?) like this? But because your Lord loves you, bit by bit, bit by bit, bit by bit He takes it out of you. When these calamities keep coming, say: my Allah, thanks be to You, who knows how much bigger You would have given.

Because You love me so much, because You love people so much, so as not to load on our back a burden we cannot carry, You take it out of us bit by bit (?). I am content with what comes from You, my Lord. You be pleased with me too, you will say.

Like this. Like this.

Oh, world.

Let me see, is there more? Is there a question? A guest says: may Allah be pleased with you, Hodja; for us, your children, who will not be at the rank of scholarship, I understood that the highest possible degree is martyrdom. May my Lord, God willing, grant us, your children, this rank of martyrdom. I kiss your blessed hands, he says. You can never know. A time comes when a fire burns inside you. A fire of love burns. You become worthy of my Lord's inspiration. Look what Allah Almighty says in His verse: do not mock anyone. It may be that that person is better than you. And this humble heart of yours, this heart you belittle, this state in which you belittle your nafs, how nicely you say it, lowering yourself.

You say it with a humble heart. (?), you say. You cannot know when and where your (?) will come. You look at your Lord with contemplation and find you attain such a beautiful realm. As long as you fan the spark of that light of faith inside you into a flame, into a fire. Yes.

There is also a question like this: how is the light of the Messenger of Allah? I know that in a person there is the spirit, the nafs and the life. Our Lord gives the Messenger of Allah of His spirit. And from his light He creates all the worlds. So from this, is the light separate from the spirit? How should we understand it, sir? I kiss your blessed hands.

Now, you asked a good question. Everyone knows this like this, but nobody asks it the way you asked. Now, Allah Almighty is an unknown treasure. He willed to be known. In this case He would create a being. It would be the mirror of His essence. There, first with His knowledge He creates its form. There, that is the light. That form. No spirit has been given yet. A silhouette. But a living silhouette.

Only, as I said, there are no attributes. A silhouette.

That silhouette, according to one narration, for 78,000 years remembers Allah Almighty. Then He asks it a question. That silhouette is alive, you see, only the attributes are not in (?).

That silhouette begins to sweat. From it He creates a jewel and divides it into four. From one quarter the earth, from one quarter the heavens, from one quarter what is between them, and from one quarter He created water, and said: settle upon the water. After that He gave of His spirit. So then it was clothed with the forms of the Essence.

There, the first created form, the form I mentioned, is not a form; from its form, for example, think of a magnetic field, a field moving like this. Give that field a shape, but there is no life, no anything, no spirit, a form without a spirit. In this case He nourished it with His essence. That is, He made it worship Him. Then He asked it: who am I? Then, when He gave it of His spirit, the form came into being. Yes.

There, from the sweat of that silhouette, from that light of it, from its division into four, He created these worlds. And because they are from him, because they are from his light, because they are from his silhouette, because all the worlds were created from the light of the Messenger of Allah, since they were created from the light of our beloved Prophet, 'wa ma erselnake illa rahmeten lil alemin": I sent you as a mercy to the worlds, He says. That is why the Prophet (peace be upon him) does not curse anyone. Whoever makes the Prophet curse someone is a wrongdoer, or ignorant, or is saying it deliberately, or else it is within the beautiful feelings of Islam, ignorant talk.

So the Prophet is a prophet who does not curse anyone. And in the verse Allah Almighty says: when you get angry, when you get irritated, as if praying for good, you pray for evil, He says. Knowing the verses very well, for Allah's sake, do not curse Allah's servants; keep it inside. And forgive as far as possible. Because with that wound of grief you suppress inside, a person is harmed. I don't want him to be harmed either.

Always turn it into good, like that. Yes.

Yes.

Ayzanur Efendi says: Hodja, does martyrdom also have ranks within itself? There is no prayer, fasting or zakat, but let's say he became a martyr. In this case there will be a classification within martyrdom too. There is no prayer, but how could he have fulfilled his covenant? He has reached the rank of martyrdom.

When we say martyr, today we also call those who die on duty martyrs. That is not a martyr. A martyr, with his religion and faith, in all (?), and a person who is martyred for his homeland, his religion, his honour, his flag, is a martyr. Even the earth does not consume them. Because Allah says: We revealed to the earth what it will consume of the human body and what it will not consume. When they die, the light of Allah Almighty all around them all around, and with that light they remain alive.

These are the martyrs. If you pay attention, when Muslims go to war, even then they perform their prayers at the prayer times.

While one part of them prays, one part stands against the enemy.

When two rak'ahs are completed, those facing the enemy come back; when the imam says "Allahu Ekber", those two, those who prayed the two rak'ahs, leave. For those two rak'ahs, Allah Almighty has the prayer led. Sheikh, Prophet, Imam. In this case they complete the four rak'ahs. Because they are travellers. For travellers, Allah has excused His servants from two rak'ahs of the obligatory prayers.

That is why not everyone who died is a martyr. Not everyone we call a martyr is a martyr. People whose heart is full of faith, who do not abandon prayer, the guardians of the homeland, the pillars of the religion, whose heart is with your Lord, their martyrdom is something different. Let me tell you an event. Perhaps you are young and don't know. In the Korean War, a captain goes missing. And this is not a story, mind you. It is an event I lived through.

This man, this captain, in time comes to Diyarbakır.

His friends meet him. Where to? I am going to Sultan Şeyhmus, he says. Sultan Şeyhmus is a shrine on the Diyarbakır–Mardin road.

In this case he doesn't know that he is Sultan Şeyhmus. Where he got lost, a soldier appears before him. He says: sir, don't wander around here too much. These are enemy areas. He says: I have lost my way. He said to me: how will I go my way, which unit are you in, come this way, I'll take you to your unit, he says. He takes him to his unit and leaves him there.

Then he asks: who are you? I am Sultan Şeyhmus, he says. If you go to Turkey, visit me, he says. So from there comes Sultan Şeyhmus, knocks on the door, his mother opens the door. Who are you? I come from your son. I have no son, she says. He died.

Is his name Sultan Şeyhmus, he says. Yes, says the woman. I had lost my way. He showed me the way. He brought me to my unit, he says. If I show you his picture, would you recognise him, she says. Among the pictures he recognises Sultan Şeyhmus. This is him, he says. They are not dead, they are alive.

They are provided for from where you do not know. Then he came to us in amazement and told this.

This is what a martyr is. Yes.

When there is any war, if people rely on Allah and ask for Allah's help, the martyrs too fight alongside them. Have you heard the sounds of the martyrs going to battle? I have heard them. I have heard them. And I have lived through many things.

Yes. Those poor people who see this world like this, as if everything were in this world, and who do not think that after death the reckoning is hard, if they go without repenting here, within this short life they turn their eternal life into a dungeon, into torment. Do not deviate from what Allah says. Family hearths have gone out. Raise good children. Be an example to your children yourselves. What will you expect from a child raised in the lap of a stark-naked mother today? In this case, according to the verse "whoever envies them is like them", just as non-Muslims undress stark naked and walk around, envying them and undressing stark naked, with a few gilded words said to them, a person who has fallen into an inferiority complex, with pride and arrogance making himself a rag, a broom in people's hands, people. In form they are human, but in character they are animals.

The most honourable of people is the one who is with Allah. If you seek glory and honour, it is with Allah, He says. Yes. Stay well, be entrusted to Allah. God willing, on Saturday, if we don't die, God willing, all together again we will continue our lesson. Let's see, is anyone saying something here? Let's look at it once more. Then let's close our lesson.

Okay. No one is saying anything. Stay well. Be entrusted to Allah.
