This site doesn't support a secure connection, it says, go back, it says, continue to the site, it says. I continued to the site.
I opened it, opened it.
a no questions; do you have any questions? your questions, Necat (?) the 18th one (?) Someone who goes on a 15-day trip, sir, does the (?) continue, or on the following days should he pray in full? Yes. The following days in full. We explained this last week. Hodja, there are timeshare holiday homes, ten-day periods in seven months (?). Ten-day periods in seven months, timeshare holiday homes. Every year people stay in that house for that period and go on holiday. (?) Well, what does that mean? I had done it too. When (?) came up, my father, my father said, to the timeshare they go. Once a year, you know, 15-day, 10-day houses. They spend 10 days there.
Every year at its time, 15 days. Then does it count as traveling? Is the key with you? The key is with him. Is the key always with him? Always. Only for 10 days or 15 days.
This is doubtful.
If the house is yours alone, however many days you go, you are not a traveler. You are not a traveler. But others are in it too, and however much that place belongs to you, afterwards someone else will come and use it. Although as long as the key is with you, that place counts as yours. But this does not fit with piety.
Its fatwa is a bit difficult. Yes. Because this is a place you go to for pleasure. Even though the key is with you; the point is, the key will be with you, the house will be yours. You'll go as to your own house. You'll go as to your own house. Now when you go there, if someone else were still there and had not left, it's not your house. Even if for a day, even for an hour.
I know that they go (?). They leave. Well, suppose they haven't left.
Could that happen? It could. That house is not yours, it's a shared house. A shared house is not yours either. What does this resemble? You've gone as a guest to your aunt, (?), she has set aside a house for you. She said, stay here. There too you are a guest for fifteen days. Exactly. Yes.
However much the key of the house is with you, you are a guest there. If it belonged to you completely, then the issue goes away. Because you use a shared key. Yes.
Yes.
Best of all, when you go, at that time nobody is in the house. However much it belonged to you, you still hand over its key. That becomes a traveler's situation. Yes. Because when you go, the (?) man is still inside, he hasn't left. Could that happen? It could. Or he has fallen ill. He needs care there. He asks your permission, could that happen? It could. Yes. The best thing is not to go to such places.
In any place that is not your property, you, when you pray, cannot say "I am a resident (?) here". The property must be yours. It means you rent that place yearly, (?) for one week or two weeks, that's what it means. The property of that place doesn't belong to you.
How many people use the same flat in a year? Right? And he takes a set price from you yearly. You took it, you paid. This becomes your right. The house is like your own. Actually that many people share that house.
How many days a year? 15. 52, 104 people become shareholders. Among 104 people, there are 52 weeks in a year.
How many?
Even if (?) 24, (?) 24, that place is not your property. Shared property of 24 (?). Yes. You are a shareholder in that place. That's all.
Do you have another question?
A person who knows himself, a Muslim, does not go to such places.
come here, a weather report popped up here, we didn't want it, the weather popped up, where do we close it, there's no place to close it from here? Istanbul a bit more probably, okay, I found it again, see? Come on, yallah. A Muslim person observes covering; to those places the people who go... a normal Muslim you very rarely find there; and that one is an ignorant person who went, just got the urge. Even if you let me stay for free, even if you pay me, I won't go; I don't go where everyone uses things. I don't go to hotels, nests of germs, nests nests, however much, not 5 stars, even if it were 10 stars, the buttons everywhere may be spotless, but the buttons there are filthy, dirty.
If necessity arises, that's different. A person sleeps even on stone, but we don't go out of necessity, we go for pleasure and fun. Come on, hot springs; many who went to hot springs got sick too. But the nafs doesn't keep still. What business do you have in hot springs?
If you go to a hot spring because you're unwell, you rent a nice room. Five days, ten days, whatever, you stay there. I pay its price. You got well, got well; you didn't get well, off I go, goodbye. That's all.
Nobody has a question today, apparently. Look, ask. Surah Taha, verse 99. On page... Which surah? Surah Taha, verse 99. On page... 99. On page 318. Page 318. We've reached 313, let's look at 18.
Yes. The ninety-ninth? Yes, Hodja.
My Messenger, thus We relate to you some of the news of those who went before. And indeed We have given you a reminder from Us, it says. What are you asking here?
Already, some events Allah Almighty, before he came into the world, first shows to the Prophet (peace be upon him). How do we know that He showed it? "Remember", it says, and tells the event. "Remember", that is, what you saw here before coming into the world. Because he is alive. Both in that realm and in this realm. Because all the prophets were created from his spirit. After all the events he came as the last prophet. The reason he came as the last prophet is that, above those prophets, he has an intellectual capacity. That's one. Because all the spirits are from him. At a time when civilisation, science and knowledge advanced, because his mind is discerning, because my Lord raised him. Because he is at a level to understand better, He sends him as the last prophet and gives the Quran to him.
If these Quran verses had come to the earlier ones, the state of civilisation, since today's conditions weren't there, the old conditions, it would have been heavy for them. "We do not load on you a burden you cannot bear", Allah Almighty says. So Allah Almighty, according to the time each person lives in, sent prophets. He told them what they would do, so that they would not suffer injustice. Yes. That's why, even before the Prophet came into the world, the states of some peoples were shown to him. "Remember" appears in some places. Yes. Any other question? Well, Hodja, before prophethood was given, did he know some things?
You didn't understand what I said. If you had understood, you wouldn't ask this question. Before coming into the world, look, Allah Almighty shows him those states. What does this mean? What does your saying the word of testimony mean? In the realm of Lahut, beside Allah Almighty, the Prophet (peace be upon him) is there too. What do you say? Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluhu. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. Muhammad is His servant and messenger. Where does this come from? In the realm of Lahut, when Allah Almighty first said "I am your Lord", yes; but after coming into the world, your affirming His oneness and saying the word of testimony like this covers all the prophets.
You cannot deny a single one of the prophets. If you deny, you become an unbeliever. So, since all the prophets are from his spirit and are servants of Allah, the Prophet, from the very beginning, is the servant and messenger of Allah. Yes. Now I told you that the realm of Lahut is the adhan itself.
The adhan is called.
What is the meaning of the adhan? When Allah Almighty created our spirits in the realm of Lahut and divided them into three groups, when He said "I am your Lord", exactly in human form, there divided into three, the people. But since no other god emerged besides Him, having the first adhan called by Bilal the Abyssinian, the Prophet (peace be upon him), putting the realm of Lahut into words, calls the adhan. What does it say? Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar: there is nothing greater than Allah. Allah is the Greatest, it says. Here the word akbar is also special. It is reserved for the Person (?). No one else can use it.
One cannot use this word as akbar. You say great, you say exalted, you say greatest of the great (?), but akbar, above them all, expresses the one with no other great, subsisting by His own essence. So when it says Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, there is no great but Allah. Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah, I bear witness that there is no other god but Him. Ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasulullah. Muhammad is His servant and messenger; he too is there beside Him, so He places this adhan there (?), puts it there. After believing in these, it says, then hayya ala's-salah, that is, come and pray, it says, and find salvation in prayer. Then again Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is no god but Allah. This is the proof of the realm of Lahut.
The adhan. Yes. Right there in pre-eternity, the Prophet.
At the beginning, the first of humanity.
You were a single community. Then you fell into division. A single community: the Prophet. The first created.
Then we separated from him. That is, they branched off. From his self the prophets, from his spirit the prophets, and from the prophets' spirits He made the spirits of the peoples. At first you were a single community, then you fell into division. We separated, and separated among people too. So these have a deep meaning. You will yet see Lahut. You will know the Barzakh. From Allah Almighty, Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172, you will know that verse. Then Surah Taha, Yusuf 4 (?), you will know that verse: why we came into the world. Then why into this bodily garment, verse 14 of a (?) surah you will know that verse, so that you grasp these properly.
Something like this: they brought you into the middle of the ocean, and left you there with your eyes closed.
(?) they put you in a life jacket. That's all for you. How did you get here? (?) says: we brought you here on a ship. What is a ship, you ask? Because without seeing those realms you cannot understand it. There is no origin. When there is no origin, various people get carried away by feelings.
That's why the Prophet (peace be upon him), before coming into the world, is witness to many things. He has seen them. Some things he has not seen. For example, it tells an event. "Were you with them at that time?" it says. That is, this time it tells about that time, in the world. It tells the past to the Prophet.
This is to make him a witness for people.
And some, "remember", it says, what they did in the world, what was shown to him (?).
Is there another part you didn't understand? Do you have a question?
Why no question from you, Özcan?
Hüseyin, do you have a question? Come here. Come.
They wrote a question. Okay. Let's see, let's see. What does the question say?
Surah An-Nahl, Surah Al-Hadid, verse 28. In the verse, in the Diyanet translation, Ömer Nasuh's (?), "may He give twice over" it says. In the Diyanet translation it says "may He give you a double portion of His mercy". In Ömer Nasuhi Bilmen's translation it is rendered "may He give you two shares of His mercy". I understood these two mercies as mercy for Muslims both in this world and in the hereafter. But is my understanding correct? I wanted to ask. Now first, here at the start, in the verse, Diyanet (?): "may He give you a double portion of His mercy". Now "a double portion of His mercy" is one meaning; in Ömer Nasuhi Bilmen's translation, if you say "two shares of His mercy", that's another.
Yes. The shares are distinguished here. One fold, two folds, one, two, a twofold share. What is a share? What is twofold? In one he asks for a share, in the other what does he ask for? It says twofold. There can be (?) too. Let's see now, what does it say here? Let's read Surah Al-Hadid, and then afterwards. Which page is this? Five hundred forty. Five hundred forty. Page forty. Let's have a look there. You must learn a thing from its root so that we can, you know, explain it. What did they mean here?
Yes.
Al-Mujadila. From 542, 542, 540. Come on, which verse, don't go to 20 (?). O you who believe! Fear Allah and believe in His prophets, so that He gives you His mercy twice over. May He give His mercy twice over. May He grant you a light by which you will walk.
May He forgive you. Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful, it says.
Now let's read the one above it here, let's see what it says. Then in their footsteps We sent Our prophets in between (?). We also sent Jesus son of Mary after them. We gave him the Gospel. In the hearts of those who followed him We put compassion and mercy. As for the monasticism they invented. We did not prescribe it. But they did it to earn Allah's pleasure. Yet they did not observe it as it should be observed. So We gave those of them who believed their reward. And many of them had gone astray, it says anyway. Yes. Now here let's first open up this verse, and then go on to what's below. Here, when a person begins worshipping Allah Almighty, if he abandons it, Allah Almighty falls into the state of the counterpart of this life (?).
What did I do to you that while worshipping Me you gave Me up? Your provision, your life, your pleasure, sir, did I take them out of your hand? He says. What did I do to you that you gave Me up? So that Allah Almighty is not made to say this, so that you don't do too much worship and, falling captive to the nafs' (?), give up the worship you do for Allah, Allah Almighty says this verse: in My sight the best of worship is that which is little but continuous, He says. Once you start something, abandoning it is turning your back on Allah. Yes, here too: O you who believe, fear Allah and believe in His Prophet, so that He gives you His mercy twice over. Here mercy means it still refers to this world.
Not the hereafter. Look. O you who believe. Fear Allah. Here. He sends this to us. And believe in the Prophet. There is still the Prophet. Still in this world. To people. It addresses future people, generations. So that He gives you His mercy twice over. Allah Almighty pours it down anyway. His mercy is abundant. "My mercy has surpassed My wrath", He says. Now, what did Ömer Nasuhi Bilmen say here? All in this Ömer Nasuhi Bilmen translation: "may He give you two shares of His mercy". Now when it says "may He give two shares", this is Allah Almighty, within His own will, giving two shares, and of His mercy giving two mercies, that is, giving twofold; this is Allah increasing that person's reward according to the intention of his deed, in this world, but not in the hereafter.
How did this person understand it? "I understood it as mercy for Muslims both in this world and in the hereafter. But is my understanding correct?" he says. This world's and the hereafter's are different. In the hereafter... Allah Almighty sent one percent of His mercy to the world. He kept ninety-nine percent for Himself. There, if mercy were (?), many who would go to hell, if their good deeds and sins are equal, He will send to paradise with His mercy. Here there is no twofold (?). There is Allah's mercy, directly. That's why in this world, if you obey Allah, Allah also increases your good.
This is its meaning here. Not in the hereafter. The one in the hereafter is far greater. Yes. Also, there He will pull out the grudges from our hearts and cast them away. That is, there you will be brothers, it says. He will do a new loading. (?) There, our anger at each other in the world, our revenge, will disappear. You will all be brothers, it says. How beautiful. No one will have a grudge against anyone. No one can know the share of that place. In this world His mercy protects you. It shields you from some calamities (?). For example, you give charity, (?) for you it becomes a barrier, or those rewards of yours become a barrier, a screen for you, and remove what would befall you; in this way, briefly.
let's see if there's another. Here it doesn't come directly, it always comes with, you know.
It comes indirectly.
Do you have any other question? Whose? Someone said "I have one". Who is it?
I couldn't grasp the wisdom of something, but I want to ask. Go ahead. Our prayers that we perform, to knowingly dedicate their reward, we have no (?), but when we read the Quran, when we do (?), we can dedicate it. Is this a gift? How does it work? I didn't understand how. Say it again. Hocam, when we read the Quran, after our dhikr, we pray to dedicate it We make dua. Yes, we make dua.
How can it not be? You pray namaz. At the end you make dua. Allah has no need of your prayer. After you submit to Him in His presence, He wants dua from you. "Were it not for your duas, what would We do with you?" He says. Let him make dua. Now the Prophet says, the best of duas, pay attention, the best of duas is a dua that comes from within. What do you desire inside? That will be accepted for you, or a dua that will find favour with Allah Almighty (?). And let it not exceed seven sentences. There are dua reciters. He keeps making dua. And our people say he makes a very beautiful dua. They don't understand, they don't know.
(?) left standing. Half an hour, fifteen minutes, twenty minutes, (?) tired too, you look for (?).
We always read things backwards. No one reads them the right way. After praying, you will say: O my Lord, O my Lord. For the worship I have done, with the strength and power You gave me, with health and well-being, You granted me this on the path of fulfilling my duty to You. All praise and glory be to You. Look how nice. Like this. Nice and simple. Whatever comes from within. You desire something. You want something to happen. O my Lord. I have such and such a matter here. Grant it to me, if it is good. If it is not good, remove these from my heart, my Allah. That is, show this to me. Or you pray an istikhara prayer and go to sleep.
He shows you. Accordingly you light your way, or else from your path turn back.
Without your dua it won't do. At the end of the prayer there must be dua, without fail.
Yes. After the prayer there must definitely be the tasbihat. Listen well. Some who are unaware of their religion, these (?), say the tasbihat is a bid'ah. Shame on them, this one knows nothing of Islam; if he says this knowingly, deliberately, he is an unbeliever because he denies the verse. Look, this much: the verse that the tasbihat after prayer is valid, I will tell you. "After prayer, remember Allah a little", it says. This is the tasbihat: a little, subhanallah, alhamdulillah, Allahu akbar, we say. Why 33, 99? Our Lord's 99 attributes we repeat in this way; with dhikr we glorify Allah. That's why after the prayer too, be sure to do your dhikr, do the tasbihat even if your two hands are in blood and your two feet in one shoe will not hold back from doing the tasbihat.
That's why, however urgent my business, without fail, even if I have to get up and go, let me do my tasbihat while I go.
Hodja, are the prayer beads in your hand? There is no need to cut it. Then wouldn't it be random? Look I'll show you my hands. I'll say subhanallah 33 times. Listen: subhanallah, subhanallah, subhanallah subhanallah subhanallah subhanallah subhanallah subhanallah subhanallah subhanallah subhanallah subhanallah subhanallah subhanallah subhanallah subhanallah
subhanallah subhanallah subhanallah subhanallah, 33. Yes.
Are prayer beads a must? Are hands a must? From the heart, from the heart. Yes.
Do your tasbihat after prayer; however urgent your business, don't abandon it. Because it is a verse.
Yes.
Now we've entered a new year.
For me there is no new year.
They accepted January as the first month of the years. After 12 months, that is, after 11 months, again when the 12th month is over, they call January the new year. Why did they accept January for this? They took the birth of Jesus as year one. The epoch, one. They took it as the epoch.
Every month of Allah Almighty is equal. When I say equal, not the days, the months. There are twelve constellations in the sky.
These constellations, according to the axis of the earth's rotation, the path it takes around the sun, refer to the seasons. If I had put it not in January but in April, in spring, the new year. April, May, June.
What would happen? New Year would be there. For example, when we say autumn, October, November, December; if I put it in October, what would happen? If I started the year there, New Year would be in October.
And now, because it fell in January, calling it a new year, "we've entered a new year", getting excited, or, sir, carrying any hidden thought, what reason is there? Just as other months came in, this month came in. People, in many ways, because they chase after carnal feelings, that evening some say Santa gave money to a child, sir, and you celebrate that.
If that man Santa gave money to a child one evening a year, a Muslim gives good to children, to people, 365 days. Why don't you celebrate this? Why don't you mention this? Once a year, once a year at New Year he gave money.
For those who visit their mother once a year, they declared Mother's Day. For a Muslim every day is Mother's Day, man.
Can you make a Muslim live apart from his mother? Your mother carried you in her womb for nine months. Nursed you for two years, cleaned you, raised you, brought you up into life. How will you repay this effort?
Oh, and it's Father's Day, they say. Father's Day is also once a year. That's why their hearts are restless and scattered, Allah Almighty says.
Of the earth, the people shown as the most numerous are Muslims.
But Muslims in our time have gone outside of Islam.
People don't know Islam. What they saw from mother and father, "I'm a Muslim", but what being Muslim is, they don't know. That's the state we've come to. And we're getting even worse.
May Allah make our end good. That's why we have no such thing as New Year. We carry on with our normal lives. On New Year's Eve, those who gamble, those who sell their wife, their daughter,
those who run up debts, don't pay them and turn to suicide, those who gamble away their house and home. Is this humanity? Is this having fun? Is this living? Stripping stark naked and dancing. Allah created woman honourable. Woman is the crown of our heads. As Allah says, cover your private parts. Dress in a way that does not show your figure. Dressing this way is closer to your not being harmed, it says. Today you see they are now looking for Elif. Elif is missing. She's been missing for a week. Elsewhere they are looking for so-and-so. She's missing too. Who are these? They show their pictures.
Stark naked women.
Well, if you had dressed as Allah says, would this have happened to you? But the fault is not those girls'. It's the mother's, the father's. That mother and father... if I had such a daughter and she didn't listen to me and went off, to the one who killed her (?) I'd say, my son, may Allah be pleased with you, you cleaned up a filth, I would say. Off I go, goodbye.
Because in our religion adultery, if married, means stoning. And because these (?) with one, with three, with five, have opened up, today she sleeps with whoever she likes. A woman today has billions. Billions, not millions. Where did you earn this? Which man did you rob? In what stark naked state did you sleep with him for this wealth to be obtained? What did you do? Did you run a factory? Did you run a mining business? What did you do? How will you give account of this to Allah? In this passing world. That's why New Year's evenings are evenings of people deceiving, robbing, swindling one another.
Islam has no New Year.
Yes. Do you have any other question, gentlemen? A question came. Let's look at the question.
Whoever tells the truth gets chased out of seven villages. Even if we're thrown out not of seven villages but of seven states, from speaking Allah's word never give up.
Quite a few questions have come here now. Okay. Hodja, peace be upon you. In Surah An-Nisa, verse 26, it says bad women are for bad men and bad men for bad women, pure women suit pure men and pure men suit pure women, but in some marriages the men turn out bad, or the women bad and the men good; it can turn out so. What does it say? But in some marriages the men turn out bad, or the women bad and the men good. This verse, how should we understand it? Look now, this verse, how will you understand it; what you say is right. The man who commits adultery, it says, it doesn't say bad. The man who commits adultery and the woman who commits adultery; the adulterous woman, it says, wants to marry the adulterous man. When you marry, are you marrying an adulterous woman?
Or is that woman marrying an adulterous man? No. When they later turn to adultery, family life dies out, they divorce. So when it says the adulterous woman marries the adulterous man, that adulterous man knowingly accepts that the adulterous woman commits adultery. Knowingly. And the adulterous woman knowingly accepts that the adulterous man consorts with others. Because she herself, and her husband, turn a blind eye to her adultery. So these suit each other, it says.
Otherwise, you married normally.
La ghayba illallah (?). Allah knows the unseen. How would you know the man would turn bad? He was in his prayer and ablution. In the end you see he has gone astray. The woman too, in her prayer and ablution. In the end you see she has gone astray. La ghayba illallah (?). And in this case, what happens? If the woman does not want to stay married to her husband, it says, it says to the man, who holds the woman by force, don't keep her in marriage. Come on. What does the man do? When the woman wants a divorce, he then tries to kill her. And then he denies Allah's verse. And the woman doesn't want to stay with you.
Let her go. Come on, she'll commit adultery, and then you'll kill her?
There's no one who knows Allah's verses. If they knew the verses, they would understand the verses well.
Here, to Metin Hodja: peace be upon you. The Prophet's duty, did it start at "Alastu bi Rabbikum"? To the three groups, our Lord's address "I am your Lord", the Prophet's conveying... did the Prophet convey it? Did the Prophet's duty start at "Alastu bi Rabbikum"?
The Prophet's duty: when He first created his light, since Allah Almighty would give him the duty, the duty began there. From his light these realms were created. The seven heavens and what is between them. Then He gave him of His spirit.
And he is the first created master of those realms. The first created. And from his spirit the prophets; since from the prophets' spirits He created the peoples, since the prophets are from his spirit, the duty of prophethood, before people were created, since Allah Almighty created the spirit of the Messenger of Allah, and for 78 thousand years and since Allah Almighty Himself raised the Prophet, His prophet, the first prophet, is beside Him.
To the three groups, our Lord's "I am your Lord" (?), did the Prophet convey it? he asks. Look, here it goes in a very bad direction. What does it say? Did the Prophet's duty start at "Alastu bi Rabbikum"? That is, to the three groups, our Lord's address "I am your Lord", the Prophet conveyed it, he says. Already there, His Messenger is already beside Him; you bear witness that he is His Messenger. The Messenger had already received the duty there. It's not that the duty began; Allah Almighty gave the duty there. Way back in the world of spirits, in the world of light, He gave it, in the world of light.
Because the first one He raised, the first one He raised is the Prophet. But do you know what they say in the book? Shame on them. Gabriel taught the Prophet.
Gabriel, who was created from his light, from the Prophet's light, taught the Prophet. And in many places, where Allah's word should be used, Gabriel is used, and they also say to me, here, they say, this man, instead of saying Gabriel, said Allah, they say.
When people who have no idea who Gabriel is act as teachers, my heart aches.
He doesn't know who Gabriel is.
You understood (?), I suppose. If you didn't, you'll ask again.
Is it right for me to recite the dua of Noah (peace be upon him) when traveling? How should we understand the verse? I respectfully kiss your blessed hands. Noah said, board the ship. Its sailing and its anchoring are in the name of Allah. Surely my Lord is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. Now if you read this dua while on a ship, fine. You are traveling on land. Is there any need for this?
There is a travel dua, but I don't recall it right now. A dua. This is a verse.
You can read it when traveling.
There are several verses to read.
Now the one that's always on my mind has slipped my mind. There was one more. Anyway, I'll tell you that later. Because it's not a must to read a verse of your own choosing. What does it say? The best of duas is a dua that comes from within. Noah too made the dua that came from within him. You say: my Allah, I am going to visit my relatives. Or, well, I'm going to be reunited with my wife and children.
Bring me safely to where I'm going; you pray as it comes from within. Then when the journey ends, you pray a prayer of thanks. You pray two rak'ahs of thanksgiving prayer. Thanks be to my Lord. He brought me here safe and sound. Yes.
Is anyone else asking a question?
Has a question come? Let's see.
Here Hodja, peace be upon you. A friend's child is extremely naughty. At a gathering we sat in, a woman someone, Surah Al-Kawthar 111 times and Allah's name Al-Wadud 110 times with the intention of the child's (?), for 21 days, and the child will improve. Since it is numbered, I was alarmed when I heard it. Is it right to do such set routines? It's wrong. Such routines are not right. No one can change the child's destiny. A child's naughtiness sometimes... yes, he's a child, his blood runs hot; one shouldn't take everything must not take it badly. And verses read this way break the code of the jinn and a jinn afflicts the child.
Or a jinn afflicts the person himself. Most people today have already fallen prey to the whispering of jinn. Because now they understand everything as reading it three times, five times. And with this reading they get caught up with the jinn. No one can change anyone's destiny. Destiny was written in the beginning. For one who wants to change his destiny, unless he changes his world, destiny doesn't change.
The deeds he has done in the world are all within his destiny. So for a person to be master of himself, he must control his nafs. His greatest enemy is within himself: his nafs. His nafs pushes him towards evil. It even makes him hostile to his child. It even makes her have her husband killed. It even makes him curse the very blessing he eats. The greatest enemy is the nafs.
We also need to treat our children well. We need to promise them something. Whatever the child likes: look, my son or my daughter, if you do this like this, look, I'll buy you this thing you like. First promise something. Either with what he likes, or take the child out a bit, take him around a bit. Try to warm the child to you. Right away, the child is naughty, so give him a slap, or else have verses read. If verses had walked even more, you'd have made mountains walk.
Yes.
Peace be upon you, Hodja. You said Friday prayer is fard, four rak'ahs. Yes. You said two rak'ahs are prayer and two rak'ahs are the sermon. Right. Yes. You said in the sermon they tell about state affairs, what's going on. Right. How does the sermon become two rak'ahs of prayer? Will you explain to us? We know too, but there's nothing else we can do. You're telling the truth. May Allah tie our deeds to our intentions. Not going won't do. Not listening won't do. The man gives a sermon there. He preaches in the khutbah. Whereas the meaning of the khutbah is to tell about state affairs. To prevent this being told, to bring down the state, to corrupt your religion, religious affairs and state affairs were separated.
Yes. In the past, sultans would take counsel from hodjas and scholars. They would go on the path they showed.
But they'd go according to the verses. The sultans also knew the verses. They were raised like that. Their fathers raised them like that. Where they got stuck, they'd tell their hodjas and get a fatwa. Well, now religious affairs have given him an authority, so he says whatever comes to his mind. He preaches there. Well, your preaching is before the prayer; in Islam one goes a bit early and listens to the hodja's sermon and counsel at the pulpit. But in the law, in the law of the Republic of Turkey, religious affairs and state affairs are separate. These men cannot talk about state affairs.
Now someone said: either you herd this camel or you leave this land. Since we haven't left the land, since we can't leave, in our place at least we listen. May Allah accept it. Not going at all is even worse.
Yes.
Guest, you understood, I suppose.
What can I do? There's no other way. Not going won't do. Whoever misses Friday three times, whoever misses Friday, his funeral prayer is not performed either, it says. Without reason, though. Not without reason. If he misses it without reason. That's why we have no choice. We go to Friday prayer. Even if only two rak'ahs, we pray our prayer. In the khutbah too, deeds depend on intentions. At least (?) we listen as if we were praying. Yes. Another; here there's one, there's something here.
Yes. Another No, let me look once more. Let's close our lesson (?), the time has come. Stay well, and in Allah's be entrusted to Allah. For the sake of Allah Almighty, Al-Fatiha.
amen Is that how they'll say it? Say it.
