What is said in the video

Yes.

There are a few here, questions. There are questions, look, these are all new questions. Because they're not marked.

Yes, here. Look, there's a mark here, do you see it? It starts from here. Page 93, surah, verse 97. Page 93, Surah An-Nisa, verse 97. Give it to me.

"To those who wronged themselves, the angels, while taking their souls, say: What were you doing?" Who are those who wronged themselves?

Those who live outside the command of Allah Almighty.

When agreeing, making the covenant in Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172, those who gave Allah Almighty their covenant as not recognizing their Lord, that is, the people of disbelief, the people of disbelief. Now it asks, who is asking? "The angels, while taking their souls, say: What were you doing? They answer: We were helpless on earth." Helpless on earth — they're lying. On earth Allah Almighty says He leaves no one helpless. Because first of all Allah provides; He gives them their provision. If one's provision is given, his helplessness is his own weakness. Yes.

And the angels say: Was not Allah's earth wide?

In the verse — in another verse Allah Almighty says: if in one place you cannot do your worship, or if your provision is elsewhere, then change your place. That is, move elsewhere, He says. Move elsewhere. You must seek your provision. Look, today wolves, birds, animals — food doesn't come to any of them where they stand. They all seek their provision. And my Lord arranges the provisions anyway. They too receive their provision. What did you do? Even though I created you honored.

Yes.

Was not Allah's earth wide? "Had you emigrated," it says. How beautiful. In a verse my Lord says: if in one place you cannot do your worship, emigrate. Go to your brothers, He says. Go to your brothers. There your provision is more plentiful, you'll be provided more. Now, as Muslims, we lived a clear example of this. Where? With our Syrian brothers who came from Syria. Was it 3 million or 4 million? The Syrians came. Tents were set up, food was given, children went to school, they lived a better life here. And in the end Allah Almighty brought them back to their homeland, opened it. They regained their freedom.

You, speak.

Wait, it's not finished yet. You'll speak afterwards. Look, you're doing it wrong here. Let me finish this, then you can ask. Yes, how many times have I told you. While I'm speaking, don't cut in. What you do is like gossiping women, you know, when they talk. One talks from there, then someone jumps to another topic, says something else. It's not like that. Everything has its manners and etiquette. Before one topic is finished, another topic doesn't begin. Yes.

And the angels: Was not Allah's earth wide? Had you emigrated, they say. So their refuge is Hell. What an evil destination it is, it says.

They have no way out. Will they not be given any due at all? Allah Almighty is just.

Since all they did, moment by moment, an atom's weight of good, an atom's weight of evil, is recorded, all the events of their struggle in life will be shown to them. Allah Almighty has the attribute of Godhood. What is it? No one will be able to question Him. Why? Will He use force? No. Faced with all the questions, he will be crushed, and his head will stay bowed to the ground. And he will find no word to say. He himself will take the road to Hell. Yes. Now tell me, what are you saying? Hodja, about this, just one thing. Angels are on duty. An angel doesn't call to account. If there is one who calls to account, it is Allah alone.

Because eleysallahu bi ahkemil hakimin. He is the judge of judges. On the Day of Judgment, at the supreme court, there He has neither partner, nor spouse, nor helper. The judgment depends solely on the word that will come from between Allah's two lips. There is no going forward or turning back from it. And do you know why I speak like this? Against those who say Allah is invisible. This man made Allah speak, they'll say; oh, He has two lips, they'll say. I advise them to read the Quran. Allah Almighty says this about what I say: Do they have tongues to speak? Do they have eyes that see, hands that hold, feet that walk?

What do they have? He says. So if He says "Do they have tongues to speak?", to the word from between His two lips no one will say anything. Yes. Go ahead. Is there more? There is.

Hodja, blessed talks. Thank you. In the meaning of Surah Al-Qadr, verse 4: "That night the angels and the Spirit descend by our Lord's permission for every matter." Is the Spirit here Allah? If it is Allah, and the Spirit descends by your Lord's permission, then does Allah give permission to Himself? I did not understand. Could you explain? "Hodja," he says. All these worlds are programmed. When that program comes: Come on, with My permission. Who gives the permission? Allah gives it. With My permission — He takes the angels along too: come, we're going to the world, He says. Here falsehood says this: The angels and the Spirit. They say Gabriel.

For the Spirit. Yet if one would at least use his mind about the Spirit, man is a small thing. A small thing. Not much. We all know the creation of Hz. Adam. "I gave a part of My Spirit," He says. What more should He tell you? What more should He say? Surah An-Nahl, verse 102, I think. Open it, let's see what it says there. "So that they become Muslims, so that they find the right path." "Your Lord, who is the Holy Spirit" — what more should He tell you? "Your Lord, who is the Holy Spirit, revealed it to your heart," it says. He made it firm, strongly.

Now here the universal Spirit is Allah Almighty too. The Holy Spirit is Allah Almighty too. Ruh al-Amin is Allah Almighty too. That is, these are His attributes, Allah Almighty. What does it say? Give it to me. Verse 102. "Say, the Holy Spirit..." look, they say Gabriel, Gabriel. Let me hold it here so you see it well. The Holy Spirit becomes Gabriel.

I mean. Now here Gabriel is an angel created from light.

Well, now it says "Gabriel, who is the Holy Spirit". "To give steadfastness to the believers" — Gabriel gives this, look. The created Gabriel, "to give steadfastness to believers, to guide Muslims and to give them glad tidings, sent it down as truth from your Lord," it says. No. And it also says "from the presence of the Truth". It contradicts its own words. "From the presence of the Truth," it says. So there is one Allah. And you put this one in Allah's place. And here you made Allah into something else, depicted Him so. Then are there two gods?

May Allah protect us from them.

Yes. The universal Spirit is Allah Almighty. The Holy Spirit is Allah Almighty. Ruh al-Amin is Allah Almighty. This here is Gabriel, one of the four great angels Allah created. Which are the four great angels?

Gabriel, Michael, Azrael, Israfil. Each has a separate duty.

Gabriel — because Allah Almighty sent down the Holy Quran from the Preserved Tablet on the 27th night of Ramadan, on the Night of Qadr, to the place called Qadr, it became the Night of Qadr. On the Night of Qadr Allah Almighty sent the Holy Quran down there as a whole. Whichever surah He revealed to the heart of the Prophet (peace be upon him), He would command Gabriel (peace be upon him); from the Quran that came down on the Night of Qadr he would take that surah, come and recite it to the Prophet. Why? So that his heart would be more at ease.

Don't forget this verse:

"We will reveal to you. You will never forget." So since he would never forget what was revealed, whichever surah Allah Almighty had settled in his heart, by command Gabriel would take that surah at Qadr, on that night, from that place called Qadr, from the Quran, and recite it to the Prophet. And the Prophet (peace be upon him) says: I loved Gabriel's recitation very much, he says.

Well, isn't Allah supposed not to come to the world? This one came. If he is Allah — if Gabriel is Allah, then Allah came to the world. And Allah came to the Prophet. He recited to me there. Then what need was there for revelation? It's always like this. Always like this. Now what does it say here? The Spirit. Yes. Allah Almighty — for example, when you go somewhere too, you say: Come on, children, with permission, with Allah's permission, let's go. Allah Almighty too: come on, with My permission; with the angels, permission was given, by His own permission. Come on, to the world. Well, does Allah come to the world? Or does Allah leave the world without an owner?

You can't know who comes to your door, who speaks with you. "Hodja, are you trying to say Allah here?" Let me tell you a verse, let me tell you, understand it as you like. Was it Surah Al-An'am, verse 103. verse. Open it, Surah Al-An'am, verse 103. Or is it after verse 110? Have a look. Open it. Of course if you open the verses wrongly, you can't understand. I found it. Don't open it — look, they've rendered it wrongly. "Eyes cannot see Him." If eyes cannot see Him — He is both the Manifest and the Hidden. So you made a covenant with an unseen Allah? Then how would I know whom I made a covenant with? Look, this part is absurd to begin with.

"Yet He sees the eyes." Right. "He knows all things well, He is aware of everything." Right. But the first part is wrong. Look what it says: "Eyes cannot encompass Him..." That is, no eyes, human eyes too, can encompass, grasp Him and say "this is my Lord". Because the unseen is a world. A world whose essence is unknown. Because we too were sent here to an unseen world. Even if He appeared before you, you could not know He is Allah. The proverbs say a mysterious word about this. Mysterious. Know everyone at your door as Qadr, know them as Khidr, know every day as Qadr, every day as Qadr, know every door, know every night as Qadr, and know everyone at your door as Khidr. How will you know every night? That Allah Almighty does not leave the world empty.

Yes, these things go very deep. If it stays like this, a thousand questions come to mind. You must know its origin, its origin. If you know its origin, everything is solved. That's why Allah needs no one's permission. He does everything by His own permission. He does everything by His own will.

Yes.

Surah Al-Ma'idah, verse 64. A wrongly rendered verse. First let's read you the wrong version. There are many errors; we sometimes took up the important ones, otherwise everything here is very wrong. "The Jews said Allah's hand is tied, is tight-fisted." Look, in the Gospel too: the Jews wrestled with Allah and defeated Allah. And they say, being Allah's close ones, His relatives, in Hell fire would touch them for no more than three days. With this intention, these are pitiful people who take Allah lightly. What does it say now? "They said Allah's hand is tied." If Allah's hand is tied, do you know what you're accusing Allah Almighty of?

That Allah created His servants but didn't know what they would do. Then you treated the good ones well. You shut out those who seek the truth. You discriminated among Your servants. Then He made an agreement with us. That is, made a covenant. He made a covenant, but He couldn't bind us to the covenant we gave. And we backed out in the world. We changed our word.

So the Quran was built on this understanding.

Verses were written on this understanding.

These are not the essence of the Quran. It is against the spirit of the Quran. What is the spirit of the Quran? The word of Allah. In the word of Allah there is no deficiency. Yes. "The Jews said Allah's hand is tied." "Because of what they said, may their hands be tied and may they be cursed," it says. So Allah Almighty curses them. They are a people who went this far. The mischief of the earth, they never stay at peace. They constantly look for enemies. That's why they can't stay at peace on earth.

"On the contrary, Allah's hands are open." What is this? This verse, "On the contrary, Allah's hands are open", supports this verse: "My mercy has surpassed My wrath," He says. There you go. Allah Almighty, who has mercy, does not load on His servants a burden they cannot bear. "He gives as He wills, He creates." Here: Allah Almighty creates as He wills. Allah's willing... If it says "He gives as He wills", it would be committing a fault here. Allah would be accused, if He gave as He willed. How? It attributes a fault to Him. God forbid, you can find no fault in Allah. But if they interpret it that way, saying "He gives as He wills"...

Allah's will is not over His servants. Because Allah gave His servants a part of His Spirit. Since that part is will, there came to be two wills. A universal will and a partial will. In Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172, whatever the partial will asked for, whatever that partial will asked from its Lord, our Lord gave it in full what it wanted. Neither more nor less. In that case, had Allah Almighty given to people as He willed, then people would say: Too much wealth leads one astray; You gave me too much, so I went astray. If He gave less: You gave me less, and until I made it up I couldn't worship You, they would say.

In full. According to people's wishes and desires, whatever they wished, within the characters He gave them, whatever they need throughout life, how much food, drink, clothing or money they need — our Lord knows this. It is written in their destiny beforehand. And one cannot step outside his destiny. Now you see the errors in the writings here. "As He wills" is the meaning. "Allah's hands are open. He gives as He wills," it says. He doesn't. He gives with justice. The work of Allah, our Lord, is justice.

If He gave as He willed, He would be giving by discriminating among His servants. I mean.

"What has been sent down to you from your Lord will surely increase the transgression and disbelief of many of them," it says. This part is right. Because the Quran increases the faith of the believer and the disbelief of the disbeliever. A verse. They won't contradict each other. They will confirm each other. This is a verse too.

"We cast among them enmity and hatred lasting until the Day of Judgment," it says. Never — Allah does not put hatred among His servants, into anyone's heart. Those with hatred in their hearts, those who don't know Allah, even for those who worship others than Allah, Allah Almighty has left the door of mercy open. He accepts his repentance until the soul reaches the throat. How can you slander Allah, so abundant in mercy, like this? That He put hatred in their hearts. Allah addresses man with His own essence, gives him a part of His Spirit, creates you honored — and holds a grudge against you? Did you put Him into human form?

This is Allah, the Creator, the Merciful, the Just, closest to His servants, who loves them most; you can't find a created being who loves people more than He does. He has sent down one percent of His mercy. Ninety-nine percent our Lord has kept for the Day of Judgment. How can you make these slanders against Him? Look. The Quran has been rendered. The Quran. Look.

"Whenever they kindled a fire for war, stirred up mischief, Allah put it out," it says. Right, they are people who have put mischief even into their own hearts among themselves. That's why we say the mischief of the earth, mischief. Otherwise Allah puts mischief into no one's heart. If He had put mischief in, Allah didn't love him, created him, then set him apart, put mischief in him: you'll do evil, then I'll burn you in Hell. Can there be such a God? Their own enmities among themselves, we still see them before us. Now they've split among themselves, they have enmities even among themselves. "They rush to spread corruption on earth." Don't they rush?

Today they killed nearly a hundred thousand innocent people, those women and children, people. On what grounds did you do these things? You attack to the right one moment, to the left the next. "And Allah does not love the corrupters." Now we read the correct version. "The Jews said Allah's hand is tied, is tight-fisted. Because of what they said, may their hands be tied and may they be cursed." They're a cursed people anyway, you can expect nothing from them. They are beings in human form but animals in character. You can't call them human. Just as an animal enters a herd, tears it apart, scatters it, that's what they do among people, trying to tear them apart like a beast.

A show of strength. In fact they do this out of fear. Out of fear. "On the contrary, Allah's hands are open." Our Lord pours down constantly. He gives to whoever of you wishes, within their destiny. Look, I explained it a moment ago. Whatever he asked of Him within his destiny, while living that life, wherever there is need, our Lord knows it. And He arranges his provision accordingly.

"What has been sent down to you from your Lord will surely increase the transgression and disbelief of many of them." So the Quran increases the faith of the believer and the disbelief of the disbeliever. Because here there is truth. They have set themselves against the truth. That's why they also see Gabriel as an enemy.

"Among them is enmity and hatred lasting until the Day of Judgment." We rendered it correctly here. "Whenever they kindled a fire for war, stirred up mischief, Allah put it out." Now, because people have no loyalty toward one another, as the Westerners who lecture on humanity yet have no share of humanity stay silent in the face of the deaths of the oppressed, because people fear people and do not fear Allah, and there is no one to protect the rights of people killed unjustly — Everyone has a covenant, has a destiny. Before that destiny, so as not to let the oppressed be devoured by the beast...

Now they're divided among themselves, two states are divided, and they're trying to save their own skins. So the verse of Allah Almighty is coming true. "Allah takes first from you those you love; you keep your feet firm. Don't turn back," He says. Iran confirms this, confirms it. "And I give you fifteen days." "No, Iran will talk with me, I can't understand." "No, I extended it ten more days." "No, I did this." Now they're struggling to save their own skins. Because they committed crime upon crime in the world. That is, they split among themselves. "Whenever they kindled a fire for war, stirred up mischief, Allah put it out." Now Allah is putting it out.

"They rush to spread corruption on earth. And Allah does not love the corrupters," it says. Allah does not love the corrupters who persist in that state. Yes, where else? Look at Surah An-Nisa, verses 51 and 52. Give it to me. Surah An-Nisa 51 and 52. It says from verse 48 to 51.

"Have you not seen those given a share of the Book?

They believe in idols and in falsehood they made up." Now, "Have you not seen those given a share of the Book?" What does this mean? Who will explain this part?

"We do not call anyone to account for what We have not made known." We sent them prophets. They turned their backs on the prophet. They worship idols, it says.

Is it so or not? Now let's read it again. "Have you not seen those given a share of the Book?" So He sent prophets. He sent books. The simplest example: the people of Hz. Moses, despite seeing so many miracles when Hz. Moses went up Mount Sinai, they worshipped an idol. They made an ox and worshipped the ox. "Is this your God?"

Those given the Book — aren't there people in our time who worship idols though Allah sent prophets? Plenty. Those who worship rats. Those who worship all sorts of monkeys. It's beyond reason. Those who worship stones. There are. Documentaries show it. Yes.

"They believe in idols and in falsehood they made up," it says. In such a civilized age, people who hear news from every corner of the world do not use their minds; just as in the eternal barzakh, in Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172, they gave their covenant, whatever their feelings were, they're sent according to the world they saw, to the same places in the same way, live their own destiny there by their own wishes and desires, and prove in the world too what kind of people they are.

And about the disbelievers they say: these are more rightly guided than those who believe in Allah. Yes.

Because the disbelievers' beliefs are close to the idolaters', to those who don't believe in Allah. That is, more rightly guided than the Muslims. Why? Because they stand before Jesus and worship. They too associate partners with Allah.

"These are the ones Allah has cursed," it says. Who are they? The Jews. They go to the Wailing Wall. There's no insult they don't make against Allah Almighty. At the Wailing Wall. "These are the cursed ones," it says. "For one cursed, far from Allah's mercy, you will find no true helper," it says.

From Allah's mercy... turn to the Most Merciful. The Creator has taken you under His mercy. He gave you your provision, created you from nothing; to subject you to injustice to oppress you. But this hostility of yours toward Allah, where does it come from?

This is something people can't easily explain. For this, one must see the world of Lahut. He will know his creation. He will know his sudden coming into being. He will know his Lord before him saying "I created you". In that state of awareness, our Lord appearing in human form — out of arrogance and pride they deny Allah and wait for the Lord of their imagination; it explains that group of people here. One can't explain this part without having seen that place. Yes.

"For one cursed, far from Allah's mercy, you will find no true helper," it says. Yes. By "true helper" He means: for a person whom Allah Almighty has cut off from His mercy, no one will intercede. Not even the prophets. So here "true helper" means people who believe in Allah and His Messenger. And here it refers to the hypocrites. They come to us and say "I'm a Muslim", but they're not. Those who pray noon and afternoon with the Muslims, and sleep through morning, evening and night prayers at home. "We are mockers of them." That is, they say "we are mockers", and when they come to their own supporters: "We are mocking them. We are with you," they say.

Surah Al-Ma'idah, verse 64. Is this it? Where? If you could pass that one along too.

We've come to that one, sir. Is that so? Did we cover that part? We did, sir. There it says "those given a share of the Book". Exactly. Is that so? Yes. And there's also, sir, from An-Nisa 52, "the ones Allah has cursed". Could you explain this? We covered this too, sir. We covered it. When they say Allah's hand is tight-fisted. Sir, as if Allah's hand weren't open and they were equal to Allah, as if they had a will even higher possess. Therefore people who want to humiliate Allah.

So they are people who wrestled with Allah and even beat Allah. I repent, astaghfirullah. Yes. (?) says: peace be alaykum, that's all. Wa alaykum as-salam. Yes, "As-salamu alaykum, sir, on page 526, Surah An-Najm, could you explain verses 39 to 41?" he says. 526. Let's open page 526 and see. They're asking about verse forty-one. They're asking about verse forty-one, sir. We'll look. Five hundred twenty-six.

Yes. Surah An-Najm. Verse twenty-six. A wrongly rendered verse. Is that what they're asking? They're asking about forty-one, sir. Forty-one.

Forty-one. What does it say? "Then he will be given his reward in full."

Just this? Nothing else. To understand this fully you have to look a verse or two back. What does Allah Almighty say? What will He give in full? You can't just suddenly ask what this one verse means. "Let him know that for man there is nothing but his own effort." It speaks the truth.

There is nothing but his own effort. That is, We will add nothing to man. We will not make it hard for him. We will not say to him: why did you do this like that? That is, We will call him to account only for what he did, and his rewards and sins accordingly weighed on the scale, by His own justice, where to? Wherever he deserves, there He will send him.

"And his effort will be seen later," it says. His effort will be seen later. That is, in the world you are mortal. I sent you to the world to prove what kind of person you are. "Did you think you would die without proving what kind of person you are?" — that's the counterpart of the verse. What does it say? "And his effort will be seen later." You will die, the Last Day will come, the supreme court will be set up, and there your account will be settled. "And then he will be given his reward in full." Then, whatever you did in this world. Look, so suddenly, what this means — and if you quote just one verse, "then he will be given his reward in full", look, it has a continuation. In full according to what?

According to your rewards and sins, according to your deeds Allah Almighty will call you to account. If you departed upon the testimony of faith and your rewards are more, you'll go to Paradise. But if you didn't depart upon the testimony of faith, however many rewards you have — for they earn rewards too — according to the verse "all their good deeds have gone to waste", no scale will be set up for you. I'm not saying it, Allah says it. "For them no scale will be set up." And you will stay in Hell in proportion to your sins. So "then he will be given his reward in full." "And surely the final return is to your Lord," it says.

That is, in the world we are still in a state of striving. We were created in Lahut. In pre-eternity, in Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172, we made a covenant with Allah Almighty. From there we were raised to the barzakh. Our time came, we came to the world. We are living the life of the world. After the life of the world, our body to the grave, our soul to the tomb. There we will wait for the Last Day. After the Last Day comes in the world, we don't know how much longer we'll lie under the earth. Then again, when Allah Almighty makes the earth another earth and the heavens other heavens, that is, He describes the world of the hereafter.

When the flattened earth is brought there, He tells Israfil to blow the trumpet. It will take them. Right. To the place of gathering. There. What happens at the place of gathering? The supreme court. "To Me you will return," He says.

We are still travelers. Travelers. There's still a road ahead. Yes.

Is there more? There is, sir. This one? Sir, they say the names given to people, to children, represent those children's personalities, and even change them. No child's name changes a person. How many are named Muhammad, and still swindlers! How many are named Mustafa, and still swindlers! These are all names of our Prophet.

No one can change destiny. These are people who gave their word and backed out of it. These are superstitious people. If you call them enemies of religion, maybe they are enemies of religion. Some are pitiful people who have bent their minds to the enemies of religion. People who mortgage their minds to others. Pitiful people who don't want to search for the truth and turn to it. Those who believe whatever is easy for them. People who believe in superstitions. Tell them the truth and they run. But tell them a superstition and they crown it. So that's their level.

Yes.

Anything else? Let me look here, one more.

Yes. It came.

There are two more, sir. There's so much to explain. Is it here?

Surah Ibrahim, verse 11: the verse rendered as "Allah bestows His blessing on whom He wills of His servants." How should we understand it? Very simple. How will you understand? I've always said, pay attention to what I say. Then you'll grasp such words very well. Allah's will is not over people. When people came to the time of the covenant with Allah Almighty, when Allah when they made the covenant with Allah Almighty, whatever they asked from Allah, Allah Almighty gave them what they asked what they asked. Allah's will is not over man. Because man also had a will. Because He had separated it from His essence.

When I say this, some say: they claim it separated from Allah's essence. Well, those are the same people who call Gabriel Allah. Does Allah Almighty not say: I gave Hz. Adam from My spirit? Isn't this separated from His essence? And aren't people created from His essence? Doesn't Allah Almighty first give of His Spirit to the Prophet? And from the Prophet — maybe people won't understand. To bring it into the outward, doesn't He say: when I breathe of My Spirit, you will worship, you will prostrate to it? Would Allah make anyone prostrate to any being other than His essence? Would He deify it? Can't you understand even this much?

That it is a part from Allah. They make people say certain things by force. They make them say what they can't understand, won't be able to understand. Someone's at the door, the light's on. Yes.

Allah gives His blessing not "to whom He wills of His servants", but to whoever wishes, as much as he wished, within his destiny Allah gives it to him fully, in full. Not one more, not one less. Yes. "Good evening, Hodja," he says.

"I kiss your hands. With your permission, I have a question. What is time, and does time only work in the world, or in the whole created universe? I kiss your hands." "Thank you," he says. If time existed only in the world — pay attention to this verse: "A thousand years here are like one day of the hereafter," it says. So time changes there. But He created time within time. Like one day there, a thousand years pass here. There is a fly that is born, grows, breeds and dies in an hour. That one hour, to it, how does it feel, how does it live it? Can there be time within time? There can. How can there be? Could you explain to us? I lived it, but how, one doesn't know.

You lived it, Hodja? By Allah we did, I swear. How did it happen, Hodja, can you tell us? I'm in Ankara, they invited me home. Night came, 12 o'clock. We said, enough now, let's end the talk and go. "Hodja, let's do a dhikr." "Son, it's late, I have work tomorrow." "Never mind, one dhikr." "Well, all right, a short dhikr, let's do it." What time is it? 12. Everyone looks at the clock, 12. I looked at the clock too, 12. We did the dhikr, finished. We looked at the clock: 12 o'clock. I said, my watch must have stopped. "What time is it, kids?" Look, all of them are looking: twelve o'clock. How did this happen? This was time within time. How did you live it? We lived the time, but how can that be?

That is Allah's miracle. For example, among Salih's people a camel came out of a rock. "Hodja, how can it?" That is Allah's miracle. How it happens I can't know, nor can anyone. This is like that. Yes. Time exists. Look, you can also understand that there is time from this: In the hereafter, rising from the grave, people will ask one another how long we lay under the earth. Some will say three days, some one day, some a bit less than a day. So time exists. It changed in the universe then. But Allah, with His knowledge, created time within time, so that time passes quickly, and having lived the earthly world in this realm in the body, and having proven what kind of people they are, people don't suffer too much in the hereafter; the people of Hell go to their Hell, the people of Paradise go and enjoy their delight.

"My servants," He says. So here He makes your time pass quickly, but to us it feels like a long life. "Hodja, also Surah Al-Ahzab, verse 56, so that we understand it better. We'd be very glad if you explained it to us. May Allah be pleased with you."

Is it 425?

417, 425, which is it? Verse 56: "Allah and His angels send many blessings send many blessings, it says. The wrongly rendered one. Who will tell me what's wrong with it? Allah and His angels send many blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe, you too send blessings upon him and greet him with complete submission."

Here, tell me the meaning. Tell me the meaning. Look. Allah and His angels send many blessings upon the Prophet, it says.

If your Lord sends blessings, (?) the rank of our Prophet than (?) Look, very nice, do you see? The Prophet's station higher than Allah's station. Allah and the Prophet's angels send blessings upon our Prophet. Whereas the angels of Allah send many blessings upon the Prophet Allah's angels. Because when the angels of Allah send blessings, look, Allahumma salli ala Sayyidina Muhammad you include Allah in it. First you say: upon Allah's servant Muhammad be Allah's peace and mercy.

And here, saying "Allah and the angels" — these are things rendered on purpose. One error, fine; three errors, five errors — but it's all wrong. Is there a god besides Allah? He becomes a second one. "Send many blessings upon him" — he'd be the prophet of another god. That is, they've gone astray, gone astray. There can't be this many errors, it's astonishing. "Sir, Allah is beyond time and space, but Allah hasn't left the world unattended either. He is nearer to us than our jugular vein. In the world He can't be encompassed, grasped by perception. If He is beyond time and space, then in this case He is in the world too, but is He bound to space or not?

I understand He is not bound." No, He's bound to no place. He has His own sovereignty. Where?

Above the House of Allah. From the House of Allah. Bayt al-Ma'mur. Bayt al-Ma'mur. On the Throne. Sir. There He is beyond time and space. All created beings are beyond time and space. Allah Almighty is beyond time and space. That is, outside the realm of time and space. When the Prophet ascended in the Mi'raj, time and space had ended. And when Allah Almighty said "Come closer, O Muhammad", he says: there's no space, where shall I step? Put one foot on top of the other. Let My servants know Me as beyond space and time, He says. This is Allah's knowledge. If Allah created this universe where there was no time and space, then of course, outside that time and space, first — let me put it this way — He prepared projects, then after the projects He began to create.

How much time passed, how did time come about? How many trillions of years passed?

Neither its beginning is known nor its end. Huwa al-awwalu wal-akhiru waz-zahiru wal-batin. So don't go into these matters. It neither puts you on the right path nor benefits anyone else.

With His essence He created the existing places; He fits within space, and without space He establishes His sovereignty in His place. Yes.

He has the attribute of Hayy, the Ever-Living. What is the attribute of Hayy? Being beyond time and space, giving life to His servants within time and space, yet having no need of His creations. "Hodja, what is the virtue of going on Umrah? What changes regarding rewards and sins for one returning from Umrah? When going on Umrah, does praying two rak'ahs at the Station of Abraham lead to forgiveness of sins for the forgiveness of sins? Do we become sinless? It's said that under the golden gutter of the Kaaba there are graves of prophets. Is it true?"

Now, up to the end — apart from the last sentence, let me explain to you. The Prophet performed Umrah too. Umrah cleanses you of your minor sins. But Hajj cleanses all your sins. Hajj. Because about Hajj it is said: You are as if newly born from your mother. A person newly born from his mother has no sin. In this way you open a brand-new book. "But Hodja, what about having taken others' rights?" Even if you've taken others' rights. "Very great sins, killing people, unforgivable sins — are those wiped out too?" Those too. How will that be? Allah Almighty will give to that servant too, until he is pleased with you.

If you took a disbeliever's right, you'll suffer its punishment within your lifetime. You won't die right after coming back from Hajj, after all. Again some cause will hold you back. Or you'll do something again. You'll suffer its punishment again. Now, Hajj covers all sins. It opens a spotless book for you. Umrah is not like that. In Umrah you are cleansed of minor sins and your rewards increase. Your sins are scattered, your rewards increase. Yes. Now we come to this. The last one: it's said there are graves of prophets. Is it true? I'm not a historian. I don't concern myself with whose grave is where.

Oh, I know only the Prophet. Let us go to his grave, before his tomb, I send blessings. There I make supplication. And my prayer is this: May my Lord grant you the Praised Station He promised you, I say.

That's the most beautiful prayer anyway. Sir, Allah does not go back on His promise. "Who keeps his word as faithfully as Allah?" — so it's said, according to the verses. Yes. "As-salamu alaykum, sir, my question is about prayer times. When we don't get up for the morning prayer, I've heard it can be prayed until 45 minutes before the noon prayer." No — let's read and answer at the same time. Until the noon prayer begins. One time doesn't end before the next begins. So not 45 minutes. The 45 minutes you mean is at sunset, and also at sunrise in the morning: the idolaters, the sun-worshippers worshipped the sun during those 45 minutes.

This is called the makruh time. Praying in the makruh time is not right. But in the afternoon prayer, even though it's makruh time, deeds are by intentions. If circumstances kept you from praying — one time doesn't end before the next begins. You can still pray in that makruh time. But why, in my view? The food is about to turn a little sour. Yes.

We continue now.

"Then, we knew it can't be prayed once makruh time begins. Now: one time doesn't end before the next begins. There are verses. Do we take the makruh time as the time limit, or the call to prayer? And can make-up prayers be prayed in makruh times? And in this case, is makruh time included in all prayer times, or is it only in the morning and afternoon makruh times that the obligatory prayer is not prayed? In the other times, can the obligatory prayers be prayed until the adhan is called? May Allah be pleased with you, I kiss your blessed hands with respect," he says. I understood what you said.

In the afternoon prayer, even though makruh time has begun, if due to circumstances you couldn't pray your prayer, one time doesn't end before the next begins. Instead of making it up, you can pray in the makruh time. But you shouldn't leave it until then. But in the morning prayer, between sunrise and forty-two, forty-five minutes after, you can't pray. Why? Because your prayer time doesn't run out. Your prayer time doesn't run out until noon. In that case, since the obligatory prayer time doesn't run out until noon, you can't pray the morning prayer in the makruh time. You'll wait until the sun rises a spear's length.

This applies to all prayers. Whether you want to pray a voluntary prayer, or the Duha prayer. You know, they pray the Duha prayer in the morning — you can't pray it in makruh time. Nor can you pray a voluntary prayer at morning time. Only when it rises a spear's length, that is, after forty-five minutes have passed, you can pray the voluntary too. You can pray the morning prayer too. Right up to noon time. At noon time the sun — I mean, the adhan is called. Once the adhan is called, noon time has begun. If you couldn't pray the morning prayer by noon time, it has become a make-up prayer. In the afternoon prayer, forty-five minutes before sunset you leave what you're doing as far as possible and pray before makruh time begins.

But there can be situations: you have a patient. You're rushing him to the hospital. You're on the road. You're going to save a life. Or you have to get medicine to someone. You're on the road; by the time you reach the hospital makruh time began. You can pray your prayer. Deeds are by intentions. Praying in its time is better than making it up. You don't worship the sun. Because of certain hardships you let the time pass. My Lord is merciful. So we will always be sincere. We will pray with sincerity. Our intention will always be pure. Yes.

The Quran increases the faith, and the disbelief of the disbeliever, sir. Is it right that the Quran increases the disbeliever's disbelief? Then what about the disbeliever who reads the Quran and becomes Muslim?"

If a disbeliever who reads the Quran becomes Muslim, he did not become Muslim in the world. In Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172, when he made the covenant with Allah Almighty, he is the person who said "You are my Lord" — there he is a Muslim. Allah Almighty brings a Muslim from the loins of a disbeliever. And brings a disbeliever from the loins of a Muslim. What's the reason? The reason: so that the disbeliever can't say "had I been in a Muslim country, I'd have become Muslim", He brings that Muslim soul from the loins of a disbeliever. He grows up a disbeliever, then realizes he's a disbeliever, researches religions, and becomes Muslim.

It's in his covenant. Otherwise, in the world no disbeliever became Muslim, no Muslim became a disbeliever. It's in their nature. Look, what do we say anyway? When Allah Almighty says "Those disbelievers are for Hell", we say this verse was wrongly rendered. Those who persist in disbelief are for Hell. What does this mean? If he has faith, he'll turn in the end. And you can't call that Muslim, the one who will turn, a person of Hell. These are the meanings here. If we understand the words well, we understand their meaning here much better. Yes.

Nothing else. Stay well. Go in Allah's care. Al-Fatiha for the sake of Allah Almighty.

Amen.
