Explanation
What is said in the video
Here, where do we start from?
Yes, there are quite a few here.
The believer's stance toward the believer, let me look here. Okay, look, there's a mark here, do you see it? Yes. Sir, as-salamu alaykum, I respectfully kiss your blessed hands. My question is a hadith question. The Prophet said: The believer's stance toward the believer is like buildings whose parts hold each other tightly interlocked, he says. It is a sound hadith. Because a believer does not step outside Allah's command. He tries to fulfil Allah's command as best he can. Now think, if another believer also thinks the way that believer thinks, there is a bond between them. What bond? The bond of the knowledge of Allah Almighty.
They do not step outside that knowledge. They are like one body.
I mean, if something befalls one part of the body, what happens? It hurts right away. If you step on a thorn, if a hand is cut, you feel pain. The believer shares his state exactly the same way. Even if he doesn't feel that pain, he shudders inside. What does it say? This hadith supports it.
But this one is a verse. Wherever they are, believers are brothers to other believers. The believer is the believer's brother.
If a believer cannot share the state of another believer, his faith has not reached perfection. Look how beautiful.
And the believer has no going back, that is, to the nafs mulhima or the nafs lawwama, there is no return. That believer is a person who has come to know the manifestations of Allah Almighty. They regard each other as one body. He hurts no one. Yes. This is a hadith.
Hodja, according to verse 12 of Ad-Dukhan, the Children of Israel see themselves as created superior. And Muslims hit a dead end over this verse, he says.
Now, Muslims don't know the verses of the Qur'an. That's why there's the imam. The imam doesn't accept this word. Faith, I mean.
In this situation Muslims hit a dead end. Whereas if they knew, many verses of the Qur'an, I mean we have got up to 600. We have brought up the really important points. That it's the word of Zionism, that what they said about it is wrong. We opened it up by letting verses speak through verses.
In this situation, since the Muslim doesn't know the origin of the verses, faith doesn't accept this, doesn't accept that. Right. Now let's open verse 12 of Surah Ad-Dukhan, look what it says here. Here Zionism puts forward its own idea. Sir, 12. verse. Then people will say: Our Lord, remove the punishment from us, truly... This isn't the place, I think. This isn't Ad-Dukhan. We must have opened the wrong place. Ad-Dukhan, verse 12. Exactly. Our Lord, remove the punishment from us, we are now believers, they will say. He named the wrong place. That's not the place you mean. It's not Ad-Dukhan.
Yes. That's exactly what I'm explaining anyway. But it's not in the Ad-Dukhan verse. It's not in Ad-Dukhan. Now we, them, I mean the Children of Israel, it says "I then made you honoured above the worlds", right? Whereas the Prophet, from whose light the worlds and from whose spirit people were created, "wa ma arsalnaka illa rahmatan lil alamin". Though he is a mercy to the worlds, don't the verses contradict each other? In this case Allah Almighty says this about them in that verse, but people have twisted it. They are honoured above the worlds because they were created as humans. Because of being created as a human.
Why is one honoured for being created as a human? Not only they, all people are honoured. Because Allah Almighty gave man a part of His spirit, which He gave to nothing else in the universe. His spirit. In this case He took the Messenger of Allah as His (?) that is, by giving from His spirit. The first He created is the Prophet (peace be upon him). Then from his spirit He created the spirits of the prophets, and from the prophets' spirits the spirits of their peoples. So only man is honoured above the worlds. And putting Adam into the guise of a body, to test in the world, people to bring them to the test, after breathing into him of His spirit He even made the angels prostrate to him. Satan, who said there is not a span of earth where my brow has not prostrated to the Most Merciful, He raised up to be teacher of the angels, and He commanded even him to prostrate.
When he didn't prostrate, He cursed him. This is how man is honoured. Second, if Allah Almighty created only the people of the Children of Israel above the world honoured on earth, is there a verse on this, apart from the verses I mentioned, saying "I made you honoured"? Well, would Allah Almighty curse a people He had honoured? Then Allah Almighty couldn't know the future either. He honoured them. Then they rebelled, He cursed them. Can there be such a God? There is not a single living being until the Last Day whose deeds Allah doesn't know. So these, words like these, are words written for an aim, according to Zionism.
We corrected these, corrected them, and God willing we'll bring out the book any day now. Within a week, ten days or fifteen days it will come out. We'll also give the book to the Diyanet. If we're wrong they'll set us right, they'll explain what's correct. If we're right, it's their duty; they have sought that office to do the work of our Lord's religion in the position that has come down to them on earth; if need be, they'll correct it. If need be. Yes. A guest says: as-salamu alaykum Hodja, I have a question for you. My father was bedridden for about seven years. He was bedridden. My mother looked after him on her own all that time.
His mental state was not very good. I also have two uncles. Before my father died they supported us financially. They used to say we'll all support this girl through her schooling together. After my father died they began to turn against my mother over things she never actually said. They also told me that my mother was turning me against them, and a few other unpleasant things. But that never happened, Hodja. When I sat the university exam I always told them. When I passed I called them myself again. They never called to ask about things like this. Though they had said so before. Now one of my uncles is going through a serious illness.
I called a few times. When I don't call I feel guilty. I feel like I'm to blame. But on the other hand, because of what they said to my mother and me, I don't know how to act. It's always one-sided. I won't call. Even if they don't call, it's an illness, she says. It's an illness, she says. Even if I don't call. Here all matters... Even if they don't call, because it's a case of illness. Would it be better to stay silent and not call, or to talk about this? My heart tells me to call, no matter what. But on the other hand I don't know. I wanted to ask you. Thank you in advance. Good evening, Hodja, she says.
The religion of Islam says: don't cut your ties with relatives. Allah says this, our Lord. With relatives, never in this world, it says. If you have no relatives left, visit their graves, it says. Visit their grave, keep the ties of kinship. Islam is not a religion of holding grudges. He's your uncle, however bad he may be. In fact, if you can, if your situation allows, you help him, help him in his illness. Even if he drives you away, don't give in to your nafs and keep away from him. He's a relative, in your father's place, your uncle. Even if he drives you away, whenever you get the chance, go to him, ask what he needs and be of one mind with him, I mean by being of one mind I mean serving him.
This is hard on your nafs, on a person's nafs. Even resenting what he said, it says "serves you right", like a curse. We as Muslims, I mean people with true faith, never do such a thing. I mean they don't turn that way. My advice to you: even if he drives you away, whenever you can, you'll go to him. If need be you'll serve him. He is your uncle, whether he drives you away or not. So be master of your nafs. The words he said to your mother or to you concern himself. Everyone will be left alone with their own conscience. If you are gold, even if you fall in the mud, you are not mud, you are still gold. So don't let the muddy words said to you feed your nafs and go against Allah's verses.
He's your uncle, help him if need be. Even if he drives you away, whenever you get the chance go to him, whenever you can ask about his needs and try to win his heart. If you do this, in Allah's hand you will rise. Our aim in this world is the struggle with the nafs. Without heeding the whims of the nafs, Satan and the world, to steer our lives by faith, reason and that merciful knowledge our Lord has given our hearts, and to earn our Lord's pleasure.
My question is Surah Al-An'am, 130. verse. Could you open it, he says. Let me look from here. Surah Al-An'am, 130. verse. Sir.
Here.
Here. Al-An'am.
Verse 130.
O company of jinn and men, did there not come to you messengers from among you, telling you My verses and warning you that you would meet this day?
Did they not come? They did. Lastly the Prophet Muhammad, as the Seal of the Prophets, so that no prophet would come again, Allah Almighty, as the last prophet, having also completed His religion, says: today We have completed your religion for you. Completed. The religion is Islam, He says. Sir, so all the prophets came by Allah Almighty's command and told people Allah's commands. They say: we bear witness against ourselves. What does "against themselves" mean? Yes, You did send them, they say.
The life of the world deceived them, and they bore witness against themselves that they were disbelievers, it says. Right. Now "against themselves", what does he want to ask here? Our verse 130, let me say it as far as I understand it. Well, they bore witness against themselves there, so why does Allah Almighty lift His mercy from them in the hereafter? Let Him forgive them there too. Because they turned back. They knew their mistakes. Why should Allah Almighty throw them into hell, burn them?
Now what this verse wants to say is this. According to Surah Al-A'raf, verse 72, when they made a covenant with Allah Almighty, they gave their covenant as deniers, in the direction of not recognising Allah, of not recognising Allah. They came to the world, here. To the world. They proved what kind of person they are. The verse says so. Did you think you would die without proving what kind of person you are? They proved themselves deniers, through not recognising Allah or through attributing qualities to Allah. For example, as the disbelievers say, Allah has a wife. Sir, or as they say He has children.
As they say Allah is three. Attributing such things to Allah; whoever denies a verse the Qur'an has made them abandon is a disbeliever. Sir, so whoever denies a prophet is a disbeliever too. Those who deny the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are also disbelievers. So even if they bear witness against themselves a thousand times, a hundred thousand times in the hereafter, they are lying there to be saved, and because of these lies, according to the verse "even if We sent you back to the world not once but several times, you would do the same", they do not believe in Allah. And the meaning of the verse here is that Allah Almighty says they confirm with their own mouths that they denied Allah.
With their own mouths. Yes. That's what they will say there. They will confirm with their own mouths that they denied. What? What does it say? The life of the world deceived them, and against themselves that they were disbelievers it doesn't bear witness. To the world, this verse 72 of Surah Al-A'raf, it's a very important verse. There Allah Almighty makes a covenant and has their destinies written. After having their destinies written, coming to the world by their own will and wishes, going, or a life: whatever is in his destiny he will live, and he will prove himself. Because Allah Almighty places characters accordingly.
By those characters, with his own will and wishes, with his own world and his deeds, a person proves what kind of person he is. Yes.
I'll ask. If there's another verse, tell me. He went on, sir. He went on.
Yes.
He's asking about Al-An'am 148. Let's continue from here.
142, 145, 148. The idolaters will say that if Allah had willed, neither we nor our fathers would have associated partners. Now first let us explain what we have up to here. Then we'll explain the rest. What does it say now? They will say: if Allah had willed, neither we nor our fathers would have associated partners. It's true. If Allah had willed, He would have done so. But Allah's will was not like that. Allah Almighty willed: I will create a being. I will give it of My spirit. And I will give it a will. By its own will it will know that I am God, that I created it, and, sir, it will prove itself to Me in this way.
Otherwise, by this verse Allah says: had We willed, We would have made you all one community. I mean, He would have created us all ready to obey Allah. Just as He created the angels, as He created all creatures for the duties they'll do, He would have created us as He wished. But He gives us such value: a part of His spirit, and with that part of the spirit a will, and with that will, by its own will, to know its Lord, to recognise Him or not. This is the verse, up to here, what I explained. Where you say: if Allah had willed, neither we nor our fathers would have associated partners. This part people understand differently by their own will. But this is the real situation.
Nor would we have forbidden anything, it says. Of course, if Allah wills, He does this. Those before them likewise denied the prophets, and in the end Our punishment Our punishment. Say: have you any knowledge that you can show us? You follow nothing but conjecture. And you only lie, it says. Because they denied Allah; the will is in their hands, isn't it? Words they made up because they denied Allah Almighty according to that will. Allah is the Owner of power. Allah does what He wills. There is also a verse that supports this verse, I mean that supports what we said. Had We wished, it says. Had We wished, We would have come down from the clouds with angels and made you obey, I mean.
We would have made you witness that We are God. But He didn't do this. Had He used force, or programmed us like the angels, He would have made us worship Him. He left us free with our own will. That's why people are not each other's robots. Every person has a separate world. There are so many billions of people. Though the characters or temperaments of billions of people resemble each other, there is no person with exactly the same character. Each has a different way of thinking. Even twins, even twin siblings differ in some thoughts at some point. So man is not a robot; man is free, by his own will, to know his Lord or not.
Yes.
Selim said this. Selim Uyar. Isn't that yours? Selim Üye. Is Selim there? Why isn't he? What did we say? You'll ask.
Let's see here. Selim Üye says one more.
As-salamu alaykum, sir. I respectfully kiss your blessed hands. My question is Surah Al-An'am, verse 150. Verse 150, Surah Al-An'am. Let's open it. 150. Here: Say, bring your witnesses who will testify that Allah forbade this, it says. They slandered Allah Almighty, that is, they forbade some things by their own reasoning. It says something like: bring your witnesses who will testify that Allah forbade this. If they testify, do not testify with them, it says. To whom does He say it? To the Prophet. Or to those who believe. I mean, saying it to the Prophet is addressing all believers, the Muslims, in effect addressing people.
Because the Prophet came as a mercy to the worlds. The Qur'an did not come only to the Muslim. But some people, let me say it more openly, some hafiz words, even more openly, hodjas say the Qur'an came to Muslims. It makes your heart burn. The Qur'an came to the worlds. It was sent down to all people. Whoever denies the Qur'an is a disbeliever. Even if he denies one verse, he is a disbeliever. Now: say, bring your witnesses who will testify that Allah forbade this. What they said, what did they say? Say: the conclusive proof belongs to Allah alone. Had Allah willed, He would surely have guided you all.
Look, I said it just now, didn't I? If He wills, He does this. But why didn't He? Because He gave of His spirit. He wanted man to know his Lord by his own will. Now when a person is a denier he slanders Allah. He says Allah said so, though He didn't say some things. For example the idolaters. When an animal's young in its womb died, it was lawful for men, forbidden for women. Like that. They had some beliefs like this. If you have proof of these in your hand, that I said it so, bring this proof, Allah Almighty says here. Say, bring your witnesses who will testify that Allah forbade this. If they testify, do not testify with them.
Because they are lying. I mean, He tells us people who believe: follow the verses. Fulfil My command together with the verses. Otherwise, those who say Allah said so about things said outside the verses, though Allah didn't say it, fall into that state, and by the verse "let him prepare his place in the punishment" they end up in the punishment with them. That's why we will follow Allah's verses. Not their talk. They keep telling superstitions.
Do not testify along with them, with Allah. Do not follow the desires of those who deny Our verses, who deny the verses and do not believe in the Day of the Hereafter. Because they have turned their backs on Allah. They have deified the world, Satan and their nafs. So as servants created by Allah, they eat and drink what Allah gives, deny it and are ungrateful. Do not follow those, it says. To whom? To the Muslim. Because Allah Almighty raised the Prophet, taught him. Saying it to him is saying it to all people. To all people. There is a warning here to these people too, and to those who are Muslim.
Do not follow the desires of those who deny the hereafter. They set up equals to their Lord, it says. I mean by lying. And by calling the lawful forbidden. To Allah, I mean they invent a new religion for themselves. Since there is no other religion in Islam, do not follow them, it says. You know the truth. He tells people the truth. You tell the truth, and a person may believe or not. You can't know his destiny. And you can't force anyone. But in this case our Lord speaks of enjoining what is right. Call them to the truth, but never lend an ear to what they say. Don't be judged along with them.
Yes.
Yes.
My question is Al-An'am 158. Al-An'am 158. Again here, verse 158. Let's see. 156, 158. They are only waiting for the angels to come to them, or your Lord to come, or some of your Lord's signs to come. Now let's explain up to here. The verse continues, but they deny the prophets, if only Allah had sent an angel, they say, if only He had sent an angel. Now Allah Almighty's coming, I mean as the people of the Children of Israel said, we won't believe without seeing Allah, so with a thunderbolt, sir, He made them faint, or brought them to death, then revived them. Allah Almighty, man... this part is a bit deep, and it'll take time.
Let me explain. Allah Almighty created us; Allah Almighty created our spirit. I mean spirit, nafs and life are one. He created our bodies in a second creation, so that we would come to the world. In verse 14 of Surah Al-Mu'minun. And why did Allah Almighty put us into a body in a second creation? The secret here is this. Let me reveal the secret to you. There we saw Allah Almighty in human form. They say Allah can't be seen, don't they? They say Allah doesn't resemble creatures, don't they? They don't know the meanings of these either. There, appearing exactly in human form, Allah Almighty... and there people, being proud, arrogant, waited for the Lord in their imagination.
So because Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes: I will send you to a hidden world, I will send you to a world where My Self is not seen, and with verse 172 of Surah Al-A'raf He made a covenant with them in that same human form, and since they persisted in denial, they came to the world as deniers, and since those who received that stamp are in a state of denial, their characters were created accordingly. Even if they came to the world a thousand, a hundred thousand times, they'd come as deniers. Now in this case what does it say? They only want the angels to come to them and their Lord to come.
Or they want to see Allah. You saw Allah Almighty in the realm of lahut, you denied, and this time He will send you to an unseen world, so that there He makes Himself known to you. Through whom? Through His prophets, messengers, scholars He'll make Himself known to you. Now believe in the unseen, He says. There you saw Me and didn't believe. Here too He says: faith in the unseen. The unseen. Which Allah are you waiting for? Your Lord has already appeared to you. He has you say the testimony of faith. What does it say? Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. So is Allah Almighty here making people tell a lie, without having appeared to them?
That wouldn't befit Allah's majesty.
He'll have you testify to an Allah who isn't seen. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. On what basis did you say this? Right? Now we're all sitting here. If someone in here said "I am your Lord", how would you know? How would you believe? But if he stands before you and says it, and no other god appears, you'd say: fine, I was created from nothing, and he says to my face there is no god but me. If there were another god besides him, he'd destroy him, and those who believed in him. Since there's no such thing, it means He created us. Because we didn't exist, and we came to be. In this case, Allah Almighty: if you wait in the world, you'll be waiting a long time.
Because there you saw and denied. Here too, even if you saw, you'd deny. You wouldn't believe. How else would you believe? He'd come down from the clouds with angels and make you believe. That isn't Allah's aim either. His aim was that you know your Lord by your own will, from the spirit He gave you. You need to know this aim.
Or they wait for some of your Lord's signs to come. The signs came long ago. The people of Lot, the people of Noah, the people of Thamud, all were destroyed. What more are you waiting for? The case of Moses: as a child, placed in the river, Pharaoh's own hands, having his enemy raise him with his own hands, what more miracles do you want? Letting Jesus raise the dead, giving miracles to our Prophet. What miracle are you waiting for?
On the day some of your Lord's signs come, faith will no longer benefit anyone who did not believe before or earn some good through his faith, it says. So who are these? Those who believe in other things than the testimony of faith, who believe along with idol worshippers. When Allah's command comes, on the Day of Resurrection their faith will not benefit them. Because there is no god but Allah. They believed in things other than Allah, in Allah's creations. They deified it. They worshipped it. In this case Allah Almighty says their faith won't benefit them. Why? Because on the Day of Resurrection, at the Great Judgement, no one will show mercy to the people We have lifted Our mercy from.
They will be left there alone and with no one.
The Muslim is not alone and without anyone. He is with Allah, the Lord of the worlds. Allah will help them there too, the Muslims. As long as he believes. As long as he does what Allah says. But when He lifts His mercy from them, neither their own prophets nor the people who'd be given intercession will be able to intercede for them, they'll be left with no one and alone. This is a very important point. Being left with no one and alone; so Muslims are not without anyone, look, their owner is Allah, the Creator is Allah. Yes.
What does it say? Here too: faith will no longer benefit anyone who did not believe before or earn some good through his faith. Well, wait; surely We too are waiting. Why? What are we waiting for? The Last Day. Did you speak the truth, or did I, I mean, did I convey what Allah made known? One can't say "I spoke the truth", unless he conveys what Allah knows. Allah is true to His word, He doesn't belie the words He knows. So the truth is what He says. We say "sadaqallahul azim", don't we? This "sadaqallahul azim" means: how truly Allah spoke, how well He spoke. And we confirm what He truly said. Allah spoke the truth; a person is a liar because he denies Allah.
He lied. Yes.
Surely We too are waiting, it says. For what? The Last Day. The Great Judgement. There we'll settle accounts. Yes.
Let's see if there are others.
If you don't understand what I explain, you can ask as many questions as you like. If you like, you can ask about the same verses. Yes. Until you understand.
Sir. My question is: could you open verse 161 of Surah Al-An'am, he says. He continues from there. 161. 159, 160, 161. Say: surely my Lord has guided me to the straight path, to the upright religion. Allah doesn't guide anyone to the straight path. There's a contradiction here. Then He'd have guided the disbeliever too. Why didn't He guide him? Allah doesn't discriminate between the servants He created. They ask the Prophet a question like this. Whom do they call a wrongdoer? Even a father who discriminates between his children is a wrongdoer, he says. So since Allah is complete and perfect, He neither leads anyone astray nor guides anyone to the right path.
Since Allah willed that His Self be known and left man free in his own will, He was obliged to show him the right path. There is the Holy Qur'an. The prophets show us the right path. If by my destiny I denied Allah, I turn my back on them. If I didn't deny but supported my Lord, I believe in the prophets and the Qur'an, and let us submit to Allah. Otherwise Allah guides no one. Because man came to the world to prove what kind of person he is. Yes.
Abraham, who held Allah to be One, was also on a religion, it says. Abraham did not worship idols from his childhood on. His father Azar imprisoned him. Left him hungry. Yet still he made no concession about Allah. In this case he gives Abraham as an example. Despite being born among idols. He was not one of those who associate partners, it says. I mean he was not with the idol worshippers, it says. Not of those who associate partners.
I am a grandson of Abraham, I am a sayyid, a grandson of the Messenger of Allah. I am the son of two sacrificial ones, says our Prophet. One is Ishmael, the other Abdullah. And I am a grandson of the two sacrificial ones yes, our lineage (?) to Abraham, peace be upon him Here there is a question. Hodja, in At-Tawbah 66, when Allah Almighty says "make no excuses", are these people apologising in this world or in the hereafter? Since Allah Almighty accepts repentance, why does He tell them not to make excuses? I couldn't understand it, sir. May Allah be pleased with you. It's very simple.
Let me open it now. At-Tawbah. Verse 66 of Surah At-Tawbah. Let's take a bit of the context there. Now let's come here. Like this, At-Tawbah.
66. This one too has been rendered wrongly. First let's say where the mistake is. Then let's read the correct one. Let's open this. Make no excuses, for you have disbelieved again after believing. Even if We forgive a group of you who repent, We will punish a group because they are guilty, it says. Now here the verse leaves it to Allah Almighty's whim. A wrongly rendered verse. I mean Allah Almighty will accept some of the guilty and won't accept others, I mean arbitrarily. Look what it says now: Make no excuses, for you have disbelieved again after believing. Even if We forgive a group of you who repent, a group, a group of those who deny, He'll forgive. Here it turns into whim. Even if We forgive one group, We will punish a group because they are guilty, it says.
Now let's read the correct version. The correct one. Make no excuses. You're talking about this part. But let's read the correct one. We'll open this part. For you have disbelieved again after believing. We have forgiven a group of you who repented. Look. We have forgiven a group of you who repented. Because the door of repentance is open until death. Allah doesn't close this door. Because of His mercy to people.
And the other group who didn't repent We will punish because they are guilty, it says. Does it fit the meaning? Yes. Now, make no excuses, it says. He says this to them in the hereafter. At the Great Judgement. You know, in verse 12 of Surah As-Sajdah it says this. We have come, we have seen; is there a return to the world, so we may obey You? Whereas Allah Almighty says: even if We sent you back not once but several times, you'd do the same. Why does He say it? Because character doesn't change. Their covenant is so. Their destiny is so. They are lying. Saying there, "we'll worship You for a year, sir, then let us die again" and so on, they think they'll supposedly deceive Allah Almighty.
Now what does this resemble? Let's liken the denier to a grain of wheat. To a grain of wheat.
And the one who doesn't deny, let's liken to an apple seed. Or let's liken him to corn. To a corn kernel. Now one is wheat, one is corn. The wheat says: I'll become corn. Come on, can wheat become corn? If you sow it, wheat will come up, just like that.
Now he's trying to deceive Allah Almighty. Because destiny is so. In that destiny He gave him whatever he wanted. So for that reason He says: make no excuses in vain. You're lying, I know it, He says. This is your character. You wanted those characters; I gave them to you for your own wish. I gave you a will. And with that will you denied Me. And with this denial, even if I sent you a thousand times, you'd do the same, He says.
Yes.
Yes. Does anyone else have a question? Let's look here.
Yes, here's one. There's a question below.
As-salamu alaykum, Hodja. Sometimes when people can't find a toilet nearby, outside they relieve themselves at the foot of trees. A hodja said that jinn may haunt those who relieve themselves outside like this, at the foot of a tree or similar places. Is this true? May Allah be pleased with you. Has he seen such a thing? No. He said it off the top of his head. Now if he said that those who urinate here, at the roots of a tree, that too by his own reasoning, it becomes filth and so on, people would believe him a little. Actually a person goes behind a tree and urinates. Or relieves himself so that no one sees.
There's no place, an open field for example, everything. But still a person has his modesty. However much he urinates. However much filth, I mean even if he does a bowel movement, let him. It all becomes soil.
And the tree, its roots are an amazing chemist.
It knows what to take from that soil. The tree turns it into its own essence. An amazing chemist.
We inspired the earth too, it says. What to consume in the human body and what not to consume. We were created according to our creation from earth. He created Adam from earth. He gave him of His spirit. Since we were created from earth, we too will become earth when we die. Trees grow on top of us. If there's fruit on it, people say: oh, this can't be eaten. Why can't it be eaten? The apple tastes the same. The apple tastes even better. But a person shies away. Because it took from a human, from the human body, from its manure, say. Though tree roots are a chemist. But still, since one wouldn't eat all the fruit in a graveyard with an easy heart. One finds it distasteful.
I wouldn't eat it easily either, I mean. I don't like it either, but by knowledge you could eat it. By knowledge.
There a person drinks, relieves himself. Nothing happens. How does one get caught by jinn? Let me tell you how one gets caught by jinn.
This is important. Listen. A person falls ill. He gets a feverish illness.
The temperature rises to 41-42 degrees. He starts to have convulsions.
The brain switches to protecting itself. It cuts off attention from the body. Death begins after that anyway. When it switches to protecting itself, the jinn tries to get in from here to there. From that protective side. If it seizes the brain, it can get in there on that protective side, and if it can rule it, when the person recovers he is gripped by the jinn. He has come under the rule of the jinn. That's the first. The second.
This is very important too. People who say "my sheikh",
those who follow a sheikh, listen well.
I'm announcing it from here: if there are sheikhs in Turkey, they are unknown. If there are people around saying "I'm a sheikh", they haven't reached the station of sheikh, and some say "I'm a sheikh", deceive people, and lie for rank, position and money. You can't find a true sheikh in Turkey.
And how would you find a true sheikh? If they had become sheikhs, they would know that the verses of the Qur'an have been rendered wrongly. Then they wouldn't put wrong verses into people's minds.
Don't believe those who say "I'm a sheikh". But one without the station of sheikh can teach, to keep some people for Allah. That is not a sheikh.
That's why I call out to our people from here. Let them not be deceived. Let them follow the truth. Let them follow those who know the verses of the Qur'an. Let them follow Islam. To follow Islam you don't have to follow some man. But you'll know Islam well. You won't mortgage your mind to anyone. You won't surrender yourself to them.
Yes.
Second, people who say "I'm a sheikh" like this: you'll recite this five thousand times, do that three thousand times, do this two thousand times. These crack a code. They break it. They break the code. The jinn code. And they get caught by jinn.
And they try to progress spiritually without a teacher. I mean to draw near to Allah. And the jinn catches this. It shows him beautiful realms. He thinks he's reaching sainthood in those realms. Thinking he'll join the ranks of the saints. And the jinn takes him. May Allah grant safety. It makes him its slave. When you tell the truth, watch out for these people. They get angry like this and come close to attacking you. They are jinn-ridden. The jinn has got hold of them; they live under a rule outside the Qur'an. That's why don't recite verses a fixed number of times. A fixed number. Recite as much as you like.
This is the verse. But when you say this so many times, that so many times, many people have been caught by jinn this way. Yes.
Let's see if there's another verse, or else let's end our lesson. There are 10 minutes left, though. What does it say? There is. There are two. He says: as-salamu alaykum Hodja, what is the purpose of a person being tested over and over on the same matter? Could you explain a bit? May Allah be pleased with you, I kiss your hands. A person isn't always tested on the same matter. He sees himself that way, or that test of his goes on a long time to break the hardest branch of his nafs, the branch of his nafs. Otherwise, if Allah Almighty gives you a calamity as a test, He doesn't keep it on you constantly, doesn't do it all the time. There's a verse too: after a hardship there is ease, it says. After an ease there is a hardship, isn't there? That's why one must pay attention to the verses. When you insist: I've been struck by this, sir, I can't get free of it, You will think of Job, peace be upon him.
Allah Almighty gave no one as much hardship as him. He lay ill for forty years. He took away his wealth.
Then He gave him twice his wealth and twice his children.
That's why we are in a test in this world. The heavier the hardship of the test, the stronger the faith. Because Allah lays on no one a burden he cannot bear. Yes.
Hodja, does hajj become obligatory for someone who goes on umrah? May Allah bless your life. How well you said it, Gökmen. And do you know what it costs? Now if you found a way to umrah, you'll find a way to hajj too. If you do umrah without doing hajj, what does that mean? Umrah is a sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Even though it is Allah Almighty's command too, it is sunnah. But first comes hajj. Because if you leave hajj, one of the five pillars of Islam, and do umrah instead of hajj, this becomes obligatory on you. That's why you must fulfil the obligation.
Wherever you find it, you'll find a way and go. You'll fulfil the obligation. Otherwise you go to the other side in debt.
Look, now I will call them these swindlers, for money money, people who know no religion or faith, deceive people, deceive women. With whom does a woman go to hajj or umrah, on a long journey? Her father, brother, son, paternal uncle, maternal uncle, grandfather, I mean mahram men whom she cannot marry, men from her own family. Because on a long journey she needs to eat, drink, see to her needs. She can only see to her needs with these relatives. You take her, you take the woman along. You say: I'm getting her to do umrah. And the women think: oh Allah, I'm doing umrah, so-and-so is taking me. These ads are spread to get you to go on umrah: If you do three umrahs you get the reward of hajj.
You can't get the reward of hajj in any way. Even if he went a million times, look, a million times, he can't get the reward of hajj. Because when you say the testimony of faith, Allah commands you the obligation. The obligation is hajj. If you do umrah a million times you get reward. Reward. But if you do hajj, your record becomes spotless, as if newly born from your mother. There's a million times difference between the two. Who are you fooling?
Yes. Go on.
She can't go. If the woman has no one, she'll send someone she knows.
Now let me tell you something that happened to me.
This imam was from Sivitli, I think. This imam. A woman says to the imam, it's something I lived through, marry me and let's go to hajj together. But after hajj you'll divorce me.
The imam agrees.
They go to hajj. On the way back from hajj they stop by me. The woman insists. Let's stop by our hodja. The imam effendi. I was living in Zeytinburnu then. I saw they had come. They found me, they came. The woman said: I have a complaint about the imam. Why? I told him such and such, and now he won't divorce me, she says. He has to divorce me. He won't, she says. I said to the imam: what's the matter? Why didn't you keep your word? He said: I've grown fond of her. Well, I want to marry her, he said. You want to marry, but, there is a verse of Allah Almighty, I said. If women don't want to stay in the marriage, don't hold them by force, it says, I said.
The woman had you do such a fine Islamic thing. An Islamic thing. But now you, as an imam, I said, are trying to step outside Islam. This won't do, I said. If the woman doesn't want to stay in your marriage, she says she doesn't, I said. Then, I said, you have to divorce her. They left. I don't know what happened. You got your answer, I think. Well, Stay well, be entrusted to Allah. Al-Fatiha for the sake of Allah.
