Explanation
What is said in the video
Put it there, put it there.
I think we're starting from here.
Hodja, there may be mistakes in what I wrote. If there are, I ask you to explain what is right. Allah gives the ruh, the nafs and life too. In the realm of Lahut. When the souls first came to life by our Lord's command they see our Lord. All correct.
You are right. The human soul comes to life for the first time. Yes. And it has no life before that. Right. At that moment, how do people, with reason, their nafs, with pride and arrogance, go so far as to deny Allah? Could you explain? May Allah be pleased with you. he writes. Now here, ruh, nafs and life, you're saying it yourself. You too were clothed in flesh and bone in this world. With ruh, nafs and life in this body, where did you get these feelings?
Where did these feelings come to you from?
Ruh, nafs and life: in Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172, Allah Almighty shows you the places you will go, the times, on a screen. Whichever of them your feelings love on that screen, you say, let me go in this time. That is where your feelings appear. Otherwise, having lived nothing, how would you know those feelings? There is nothing. Suddenly you have opened your eyes. Before you, Allah Almighty says, 'I am your Lord.' There, people are divided into only three classes. That's all. But then He calls you one by one. There is a covenant, one by one. What does it say? From the offspring of the children of Adam, to those who will come from their offspring, it says. Allah made a covenant.
He made them witnesses over themselves. He said, 'I am your Lord.' But that one says, 'Am I not your Lord?' Allah asks no one a question. He did not say, 'Am I not your Lord?' He said, 'I am your Lord.' There, by what you hear and see on that screen, a desire, a wish of yours appears. From that desire and wish, your state takes shape. And there, for those who saw and believed or did not believe, in Surah Ta-Ha, verse 134, for the sake of Allah's, of His divine attribute, for His majestic name, He sends you into the world. Why does He send you into the world? Here you saw Me and still could not believe.
But now I will send you to an unseen realm. Your feelings, your feeling toward Me here, or the feeling in the way you will live: your pride, arrogance, ego, haughtiness, or your obedience to Allah Almighty. In a realm where you don't see Me, you will prove what kind of person you are, and after that I will call you to account, He says. That's very simple too. Very simple. They go so far as to deny Allah. Could you explain? It all comes from the life there, that is, the realm Allah Almighty showed you on the screen; within your own life, feelings of yours arise. This is what the verse means: what lies in the finest corner of your hearts that you yourselves don't know, We know.
Could you turn that off? We were very glad.
Sir, it seems it wasn't heard in the back. Shall we put on the lapel mic? Shall we? Shall we put on the lapel mic? They can't hear.
Is the sound low? It's coming through very low, sir. Good. Let him give it. Bring it to the microphone.
Yes.
Now, can you hear me? You can hear. Okay.
Now, the part up here where he's mistaken is this. Ruh, nafs, life. Allah gives life too. In the realm of Lahut, when the souls came to life by our Lord's command, they see our Lord. The human soul comes alive for the first time and has no life before, he says. At that moment, how do people, with reason and nafs, with pride and arrogance, go to deny Allah, he asks. Yes. There is only one thing there. They know they were created, that they were brought from nothing into being. There Allah Almighty wants only one thing from you: that you know your Creator. Pride and arrogance imagine it like this.
Since he sees Him in human form too, he acts big toward Him. How could He have created me, he says. This realm, since it is a secret, no one has opened it up. It isn't told anyway. But Surah Ta-Ha, verse 134 says it. And since we have seen those places, we tell of them. Otherwise you couldn't work out these verses like this from your own head. That's why people gave meanings to the verses by their own reason. That is, although in Arabic the same word can have many meanings, he gives it the meaning that suits his reason. Not a meaning that lets verses speak with verses. That's why the Holy Quran, or rather, Zionism has taken hold of has taken hold of the Holy Quran.
They wrote its translation. In 1924, in 1935... in 1924, I think. The Diyanet... hand me my phone over there. Look now.
I'll show you something here.
Ah, here, do you see this picture? Look closely. at this. After seeing it after seeing it, you see it too, look what it says: Rabbi, Jewish President of Religious Affairs. Rabbi, Jewish President of Religious Affairs. Who is this Jewish rabbi?
Did you know the first President of Religious Affairs was a rabbi, it says. Bow-tied, tailcoated President of Religious Affairs Mehmet Rıfat Börekçi became, on 4 April 1924, the first head of the newly founded Presidency of Religious Affairs. He stayed in this post until his death on 5 March 1941, it says. Women beside him, on his right and left. Tailcoats, bow ties.
Now let's go back to our topic.
So when a person first opens his eyes, he sees his Lord before him. When He says 'I created you,' that trait in man, seeing Him as like himself, doesn't believe Him and denies Him. These are the people of the left. And the companions of the left – what are the companions of the left? These are the people of the left. And, the believers: ve ashabu'l-meymeneti ma ashabu'l-meymeneh. These are the people of the right. The third is the class of those brought near. Then the real matter starts after this. Those who believed and didn't are raised to the barzakh, then called one by one, and Allah Almighty makes a covenant with them, Surah Al-A'raf, verse 72. There He shows the eras, on the screen, the lives. Like an engineer who builds a city and puts that world down on paper, or shows it in a video, Allah Almighty shows those worlds there.
A person's own desire and wish: our Lord knows what feelings lie in the remotest corner of his heart. He places characters accordingly.
So at the very first creation, in knowing Allah Almighty or not, there is denial. Yes.
Now here it says people, their reasoning nafs, out of pride and arrogance, go to deny Allah. The human soul comes alive for the first time and has no life before. At this moment, people's reasoning nafs. There is a reason there called aql-i maad. Together with the nafs. Just as a person, with his reason, wants or doesn't want some feeling, these are states of the nafs. The nafs never affirms Allah anyway. It is man's enemy. But of ruh, nafs and life, the ruh is their commander. Everything follows the ruh. If the ruh falls under the will, the rule of its nafs, it becomes abased. If the ruh brings the nafs under its will, it becomes a vizier with Allah.
That is, it rises. That's why ruh, nafs and life are in him. And seeing the One before him say 'I am your Lord,' he believes or does not. That's all. That is the whole truth of it there. Then he is raised to the barzakh. From there he is called, taken one by one. There he makes the covenant. He sees it on the screens. He knows he will surely come into the world. That is, whichever land he wants, whichever place he loves, he'll go there. The desire and wish he feels for it is written for him as destiny, and there it is sealed.
If there's a part you didn't understand, ask again. Within what I've explained. As-salamu alaykum, sir. Because of my work I couldn't listen to our lesson. I asked because I'd understood the questions incompletely. When writing, I wrote my questions wrongly, with missing words and letters. I wrote nothing in reply. I couldn't. I apologize. May Allah be pleased with you. I kiss your blessed hands, he says.
I never leave anyone's question unanswered. I explain once. If he doesn't understand, he asks me the part he didn't get, I explain once more. If he still doesn't, he asks about that part, I explain once more. If after my explaining he still didn't understand, that's his capacity. I leave it to time. In time it sets in. His knowledge, his insight broadens, he understands better. Yes. Because what I explain is not an outward matter. An inner meaning. The inner does not deny the outer. But if the outer denies the inner, trouble rises. That's why we speak of the inner. Only one open to insight and high in knowledge understands it better.
Then why, then, do you explain it at such a high level? Because I have no outward knowledge. What I see, I see just as it is, as truth.
Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 37. Could you explain it, sir? Surah Al-Anbiya. Let's see, let's open it.
Sir.
It's this one.
This one. Which one? The thirty-second verse.
Man was created of a hasty nature. I will show you My signs. Do not ask Me to hurry, it says. Now, this haste is in man's nature. That is, when he wants something, it should happen at once. It doesn't happen at once. Allah Almighty also did not create these worlds in haste. When He says kun, that is, 'be,' this 'be' does not mean 'be at once.' When He says this 'be,' it means to create it. For example, Allah willed it. He said 'be' to the earth, the heavens and what is between them. And it was. But not at once. Not even by a sound. How did it come about? Over time. The verse says it too. In two days the earth, in two days the heavens, and in two days what is between them, He created.
Now, before world time even existed, by the measure of the hereafter, if we put it in time: if a thousand years here are like one day of the hereafter, He created it in six thousand years.
The proof of this is very simple.
If you ask: He willed and created it, how do you prove it was six thousand years? There is the formation of the earth. The revered Ahmed Bican says of the formation of the earth: Six generations came and went from the earth. The seventh is mankind, he says. The earth has a formation. In a molten state, a fiery state, or a cooled state, the forming of these stones, this soil, these rocks is surely not something done suddenly in three days, five days, a month, a year. This took time. If a thousand years here are like one day there, perhaps the forming of the earth lasted two thousand years. But when it reached a state fit for human life, then He sent people into the world.
Then those people He had created before, giving them of His spirit, He made them wake. These things lead to a deep matter. Before a person comes into the world, first there are waiting places. Since the Prophet, perhaps 1447 years have passed, 1447, that's the date. The Arabic Hijri calendar. 1447 years. There it is like a day and a half. Like a day and a half in the hereafter. That's why Allah Almighty says, you have fixed your eyes on this swiftly passing world, you want the world, whereas the abode of the hereafter is better for you, He says. Now when He says swiftly, it passes swiftly compared to the hereafter.
1447 years have passed since the Prophet; here in the realm of the hereafter, that's like a day and a half. Besides, there is the world after Christ. And there is the world before Christ. It goes back 5000 years in the world. How far back it goes. But these, of course, what they found too,
what do they call them? Fossils, they find fossils, but these are estimated figures. So long ago, this long ago. And if Allah Almighty created it in 6 days, by this measure 2000 years after Christ, and before Christ, 1920 years have passed. That is, it has been like 2 days. By the measure of the hereafter. Now what does it say here? Man was created of a hasty nature. In this swiftly passing world, it says, a human life, compared to the hereafter, is seconds; if you live 65 or 70 years, it comes to about an hour and a half. Well, doesn't this match man wanting things in haste? He desires and wants it to happen at once.
Some things, let them happen. But people who submit to Allah are not hasty. They say, when its time comes, it will happen. Those who don't obey Allah, who fix their eyes on the world and throw Allah behind their backs, want everything to happen at once.
Today everyone is rushing. Let me earn a bit of money. Halal or haram. He doesn't look at halal anyway. Let me change my car through fraud. Let me buy a nice apartment. Or let me buy a yacht. In this swiftly passing world, there's no trick man doesn't pull. Now this is what it is trying to explain. Man was created of a hasty nature. I will show you My signs. Do not ask Me to hurry, it says. Hurry for what? Everything has its time. In due time Allah Almighty will show you His signs. Don't hurry. If your desire and wish is within your destiny, be patient, He says. Wait. You will get it. But if it's outside your destiny, however much you struggle, it will not be given to you. Why is that?
Because, so that you can prove what kind of person you are, the answer to your desire and wish, your destiny, was written long before, in Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172. Where in life will you meet things? What will happen? What kind of calamity will you face? Or what kind of relationships will you face? It's all written there. Until when? Until the Day of Judgment there's not one living being whose doings We don't know, He says. Accordingly, if a person gives his heart to his Lord, then, as they say Islam is peace, this peace lies in relying on Allah, trusting Him and submitting to Him. Otherwise, if a person wants things in haste, he gets into a real mess. That's why Allah Almighty warns people here.
Nothing is given before its time, He says. Be patient, He says. In the Quran, in over a hundred places, Allah Almighty advises patience. Yes. That's why He says, do not ask Me to hurry. When the time comes, you will see My signs, He says. That is, I will give you what you ask of Me, He says. But whether it's in your destiny or not, if you are patient about what you wanted, it will come before you in the hereafter as reward.
He is saying it to Bayramiye. As-salamu alaykum, sir.
My question: one who is a means to good is like one who does good. Is this a hadith, sir? I kiss your blessed hands. Yes, this is a hadith. One who does good, who wants to do good, who causes it, is as if he did good. Not as much as the one who does it, but since it says 'like,' there is a reason for it too. Because if you become a means to evil, if you become a means to evil, what will you get? You get sin. If you become a means to good, you get reward. Now here is a poor person. And someone is going to do a good deed. But he can't find anyone to do that good for. Because today our rich live surrounded by rich places.
He doesn't know whom to give the money to. He'll do good, but whom will he give the money to? And you know a poor, needy or lonely stranger. You say to him, come, let's give this money to that person. When you make that woman, that stranger, that widow or that orphan happy, you attain its reward, of course. You were the cause of it. So even if not as much as the one who did it, you attain Allah Almighty's mercy.
The Prophet said: If a servant covers another servant's fault in this world, Allah will cover his fault on the Day of Judgment. Sir, I respectfully kiss your blessed hands. My question, he says, is this, I suppose.
Asking permission when entering houses. Now, first let's speak about this one. Because in this hadith, since it is a hadith, let's explain this too. Now what are you saying here? If a servant covers another servant's fault in this world, on the Day of Judgement Allah too fault on the Day of Judgment. Now this is the hadith.
Don't gossip, backbite or run anyone down, it says. Someone has made a mistake. He has done something shameful. Don't expose it, it says. Don't disparage anyone. Which verse does this correspond to?
Do not mock any people. It may be that those people are better than you, it says. Now, today he does something shameful, tomorrow he repents. Perhaps his rank is above yours. He went through a period of ignorance. So if you cover one fault of his, Allah Almighty will cover many of your sins too. Because Allah does not want His servants to quarrel with one another. He wants them always to live together in a festive spirit. If a father's children quarrel with one another, won't the father be sad? But if they help each other, the father is glad and rewards his children, isn't that so? And Allah sent one percent of His mercy to the world.
The other 99 He kept for Himself. That's why helping people, winning their hearts, making them happy raises people's rank with Allah.
My question: asking permission when entering houses; if permitted by the third time, you enter; if not, you turn back. Is this a hadith, sir? That's a hadith too. This is a hadith too. You knock on the door once. If there's no answer, you knock a second time. If there's still no answer, you knock a third time. If there's no answer, you turn back and go. Otherwise it becomes trespassing on the home, or the man inside is talking with his wife and hasn't answered you. Even if a voice from inside says go back, you go back. Even if your business is urgent, if they say from inside go back, you go back.
You don't hold the key. You can't enter any house without permission. Yes.
Do we have questions? Let's see. Surah Az-Zumar, verse 23, is what Hacı Ali oğlu asks for. Surah Az-Zumar, verse 23. Yes. Az-Zumar, this is also a wrongly explained verse. This Hacı Ali oğlu loves mistakes very much, so he always asks about the mistakes, but it's a fine thing, of course; since his faith is strong, the places wrongly explained about Allah Almighty he can't stomach, and he points out the mistakes. That's good too. Where is the mistake here, I wonder? Let me learn this, he says. He asks. Allah has sent down the best of speech as a book, consistent within itself, read again and again without tiring.
Correct. Now when we say wrong, not all of it is wrong. Allah forbid. There are correct parts. Then they change it with one word and attribute it to Allah Almighty. Let's see where that is, we'll find it now. The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from this book's effect, that's correct too. Then both their bodies and their hearts warm and soften to the remembrance of Allah, this is correct too. Then: the Book: Allah guided whom He willed by it to the right path. Here the mistake begins. Look what it says: the book, whom Allah wills, it says. If Allah's willing over people were the case, hell would be abolished. Because in Allah's justice there is not an atom of deficiency. If Allah willed someone and guided him to the right path, who created the other one?
Is there another god? So did Allah create people for hell? Ha, some say that too. Open the Holy Quran. Surah Al-A'raf, verse 179. Look what it says there. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Lijahannama kathiran minal-jinni wal-ins. They rendered it like this: Indeed, Allah created many of the jinn and men for hell. People with this mindset render it this way. Allah created no one for hell. But those who deny Allah and those who don't were separated. There are two paths: the straight path and the path of hell. The places created are two as well: one hell, one paradise. So Allah left people free in their own will.
Because He gave a particle of His spirit. In that spirit there is will, and reason too. All of it within that spirit. So He left man free in his own will to know Allah or not. That's why Allah doesn't take anyone by the hand, or say as He wills, you to paradise, you to hell. But Zionism has it said. Allah sends whom He wills to paradise, whom He wills to hell. That is, they accuse Allah of such injustice, of discrimination among His servants.
What does it say? This book, whom Allah wills, it says. They hammer it in with that. Whereas the Quran is a book that brings people out of darkness into light and guidance. It has come to the worlds. Is there a verse that it came to the worlds? There is. Which verse? The Prophet: Ve ma erselnake illa rahmeten li'l-alemin. He came as a prophet to the worlds. What is this? When it says worlds, not only to people, but to the created jinn, and to the angels created of light. All of them are within the worlds. But those who put Gabriel in Allah's place should think about this.
Now in this case, Allah guides no one just as He wills. Only one who wills it finds guidance. Allah does not discriminate among His servants. He sent the Holy Quran to the worlds. Among the worlds, those who believe in the Quran, the sirat al-mustaqim, the very right path by their own will; and again by their own will, if one turns his back on the book sent by Allah, the Lord of the worlds, he has taken revenge on his own self. Allah wrongs no one. And whom Allah leads astray, there is no guide for him, it says. They make Allah out so that, if you don't believe in Allah, Allah becomes your enemy and leads you astray.
He has the power, He has power. Allah does what He wills. This they pin on the servant: Allah does it. Allah led me astray, what can I do, he says. It makes the servant blameless there. That is, they accuse Allah Almighty of such injustice, Discrimination among His servants. Allah forbid. These who say 'we are writing the Quran,' how they will answer to Allah, I don't know.
This Quran needs to be written from start to finish. We applied. But our voice was not heard. That's why we explain the truth to people here. If what I explain sets the verses against one another, they need to warn me, making verses speak with verses so that none belies another. But if in what I explain the verses speak with verses, they should take their heads in their hands and think.
That is what we have to say.
Whom Allah leads astray, it says. Allah leads no one astray. Allah forbid. These verses confirm that Allah does not lead astray: The door of repentance is open until the soul reaches the throat. Look how beautifully it says it. If the door of repentance is open until the soul reaches the throat, Allah leads no one astray.
That is, a human tongue can't bring itself to say this. But Zionism says it. It says it. Yes. And we are trying to rescue the Quran from Zionism. We are trying to rescue it from Zionism's words.
Now here there's one more big meaning. What does it say? Whom Allah leads astray, there is no guide for him anymore. it says. So here Allah belies His own word Himself. Well, why did You send the Quran to the worlds? Isn't the Quran a guide to the worlds? So if the Quran exists, a guide always exists.
The Quran hasn't vanished, so that there'd be no guide. There it runs itself down. That is, a sensible person understands here that this was written by Zionism and is an insult to Allah. Allah says in His verse that even if men and jinn gathered, they could not produce the like of this surah, and that no word, no verse belies any other verse; people who cannot grasp the verses that are beyond human reason, who bear a grudge against Allah, who have turned their backs on Allah, their words they told us as the Quran and its meaning, lulling us to sleep over the centuries.
Yes. Yes.
Now let me read you the correct version: This book is, for whoever asks it of Allah, the guide that shows the right path through it. And whoever strays from Allah, as long as he remains so, will not come to the right path. As long as he remains so... Allah sent His book, His light has shone, lit the world with His light, but while he is on that path, he sees the right path yet does not come. Yes. Yes. Surah Az-Zumar. Bayramiye Blessed sir, my question: O Allah, inspire me with the path that is right for me and protect me from the evils of my nafs. Is this a hadith, sir? May Allah be pleased with you.
Now this corresponds to this hadith: By Allah, in whose hand my soul is, he says, write down whatever comes out of my mouth. Now what does this say? My question: O Allah, inspire me with the path that is right for me. Who says this? The Prophet. And protect me from the evils of my nafs; is this a hadith, he asks. The Prophet said it, it is a hadith, sir. My Lord educated me, and educated me well; these are hadiths. But what does Zionism say? Gabriel taught me, it says. That Gabriel taught the Prophet. Out of grief one doesn't know what to do, and so we laugh, that is. We grieve, I mean.
Is there another question? Let's see. Let's see.
Süleyman Misafir says: I listen to our lesson on my phone. Sometimes when we ask our questions, autocorrect makes them wrong. Mistakes happen. Right now I am listening to our lesson. Last week I fell victim to autocorrect. I kiss your blessed hands. May Allah be pleased with you, he says. Hodja, Mustafa Hacı Aleoğlu asks about Surah Luqman, verse 28. Let's see now. Surah Luqman. Come on. Surah Luqman, 28. Your creation and your resurrection are only like the creation and resurrection of a single soul, it says.
If Allah Almighty's creating us again, or raising us, were one by one... God help us.
With His knowledge He brings everything to life in an instant. With His knowledge, if He wills, He annihilates everything in an instant. Now all of us people on earth, at the Last Day, will die. Before the Last Day comes, those whose time comes will go to the hereafter. Since our father Adam, billions of people have died in the world. Billions. Maybe there are 8 billion people in the world right now. Since our father Adam, let's say people were fewer. Maybe there are 60 to 70 billion people. Let's say, until the Last Day.
Anyway, maybe two generations will come, maybe not. The Last Day breaks. Now in the realm of the hereafter, when we are raised again, We will water you with a water, it says. That water is the water called the sea of secrets on the sixth level. It will bring the cell in man back to life. Let me start a little further back. When the earth becomes another earth, the sky another, it says. When the earth is laid out perfectly flat, We will water it with a water, it says. There, from human cells, bodies will sprout like plants. Bodies will grow into bodies. Like the raising of one person, all will be raised at once.
Like the raising of one person. Their death too is like one person's raising, one person's death. If He wills, He destroys them in an instant. And raises them in an instant. These are not hard for Allah. What does it say? Your creation and resurrection are only like the creation of a single soul, it says.
Surah Luqman... I touched something and it slipped away. Yes.
Let it not be forgotten that Allah knows and sees all, it says. All-knowing, the possessor of all knowledge. Our minds cannot grasp His knowledge. But if He wills, He can destroy everyone at once. And raise everyone as He raises one person. As I said a moment ago.
Here, look what the verses below say now: the greatness of His knowledge, and I do this, He says, like the raising of one person or the death of one person; millions of people like one person's raising, one person's death. You should know, it says, that Allah merges night into day and day into night. That is, turning the earth on its own axis before the sun, He brings about night and day. Without pillars, turning the moon, sun and earth around their satellites, neither coming closer nor moving apart, and by their turning around the sun bringing the seasons into being. He has subjected the sun and the moon to His command, it says.
That is, put them under His command. That is, He created them with His knowledge. He created everything within a frame, within a program. Each of them continues its motion until a set time. What is the set time? The breaking of the Last Day. When is that time? It is in Allah's knowledge, He doesn't tell it. The knowledge of the Hour is with Allah, the verse says. That's why we don't meddle there. He declares, lady: each of these continues its motion until a set time, and Allah is fully aware of what you do. Allah says there's not one living being until the Last Day whose doings We don't know. We know nothing of a person once he leaves our side, what he does. Allah Almighty is present and watching everywhere in this universe; there's no place He doesn't see. He is aware of the beings seven levels down, in the darkness at the bottom of the earth.
In the sky He is aware of the seven heavens. Yes.
There is Surah Ar-Rum, verse eleven.
Yes.
Allah first created His creatures, it says.
After death He repeats creating it. In the end you will all be returned to Him.
How does this happen? He first created His creatures.
Hacı Aleoğlu asked a good question. Who will tell this here?
I explained this to you. But not in this way. If you use your minds, you'll find it.
Allah was the possessor of a great treasure. The possessor of knowledge. He was alone. He willed to be known. From light, the light of the Prophet (peace be upon him), from His spirit He gave. So He created His first creature. All that is created is a creature. In this way, from his light He created the worlds, and from His spirit He created people. The first created, when the worlds did not exist, was the Prophet. And the last prophet was again he, and he is alive. The first created is still alive; though he tasted death, he is alive. He is still alive.
So what does it say here?
Look. Allah created His first creatures. After death He repeats creating it. So after the Last Day breaks, people will all be raised again in the realm of the hereafter. But how long they lay under the earth, we cannot know. We'll ask each other there how long we lay under the earth. Some will say three days, some a little less than a day. We say: the count of how long you lay under the earth, ask the noble angels. How many thousand years we lay, what we did, we don't know. But just as sometimes we're tired, we go to bed at night and get up in the morning, as if we woke up in an instant. The body is rested, quite relaxed.
We've slept 10 hours, 12 hours. Sometimes in surgery they give you morphine, you don't wake up for 24 hours. And when you wake, you understand nothing. When, how much time has passed. It's exactly like that. If there's a question, one more question of yours, I'll repeat. No other questions. Yes. There's Az-Zumar 3, Hodja. I had asked about Az-Zumar 3, but... Az-Zumar 3. Let's do Az-Zumar 3 too, and then we'll close our lesson, inshallah. Az-Zumar 3. That's also a wrongly explained place. Now here it says: Pay attention, it says, pure religion belongs to Allah alone. Now people invent religion. Allah... I don't want to say this, but it goes very deep, let me say it: Since He gave man of His spirit, of His essence a particle, what man speaks, what he says, what he does within his own will, and what he invents as religion outside Allah's pure religion, He calls religion; those who make idols with their own hands and temples, and worship them.
Look, He values man this much.
What he says, He calls religion. Whereas if He didn't value him, hadn't given man that will, He wouldn't take what they do into account.
That is how precious a being man is with Allah. Because He created him honored above the worlds.
Pure religion belongs to Allah alone. So don't look at what people say, He says. Religion is Allah's religion. İnne'd-dîne indallâhi'l-İslâm. Leaving it, they took for themselves certain friends, it says. See? What they made with their hands, they obeyed as religion.
If one died with its young in its belly, only the men would eat the young. Women couldn't eat it. They'd cut open its belly and take it out. Their gods were like that. So they'd tell them. If it gave birth to a calf, born alive, and then it died, the women would eat it too.
They'd prepare food with their own hands. They'd bring it and leave it for their gods to eat.
Then they sacrifice in the name of the gods. If the sacrifice is slaughtered apart from Allah's name, that sacrificial meat is not eaten. A sacrifice, or an animal, is slaughtered in Allah's name. Pay attention, pure religion belongs to Allah alone. Leaving it, they take for themselves certain friends. They say, we serve them only so they bring us near to Allah. Yes. They say there is a spirit inside them. We obey that spirit, they say. That's the 'to bring us near to Allah.' So they say; they obey that spirit. Surely Allah will judge between them in what they differed on. When? On the Day of Judgment.
We sent you a prophet. We sent you books. We sent you scholars. You followed your own mind.
You turned your back on the Lord of the worlds, who brings you out of darkness into light.
As it says in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 17.
Let's see what it says, Surah Al-Baqarah. Sir. Look at Al-Baqarah 17. Their state, the hypocrites', is like a fire kindled on a dark night, it says. On a dark night no one, no people can light a fire. There's a figurative meaning here. The Quran brings people out of darkness into light, Surah Ibrahim, verse one. Man can't light a fire; like a burning fire. This dark night, it says, like a burning fire. People come in darkness into the world. Allah sends them prophets, scholars, books, shows the way, brings them out of darkness into light. What does it say? Their state, the hypocrites', is like a fire kindled on a dark night. Not kindled: like a burning fire. When the fire lit up its surroundings, those who turn their backs on the fire leave themselves in darkness; they no longer see. What does it say here? When the fire lit up its surroundings, Allah at once took away their light. Can Allah be like that? That's the book Zionism wrote.
We were talking about Az-Zumar were discussing three, right? Let us write it here now: Az-Zumar three. Pure religion is Allah's religion, belongs to Allah alone. Those who leave it and take for themselves certain friends say: We serve them only so they bring us near to Allah. By their own reasoning, since they credit Allah, they know they too were created. One has to bow to some god. That is, there's someone who created him, but who? Whatever they saw from their ancestors, their fathers, they made an idol of it. Everyone made a shape after his own imagination, his own reason. He obeys that shape.
He knows it himself: to a statue made of wood, stone, clay, obedience. They fool themselves like this: We obey the spirit inside it. So that it brings us near to Allah. And Allah doesn't tell you: to come near Me, worship idols in your hands. Believe in the unseen, He says. In the past you saw Me. Look, because you saw Me, you denied Me. Now I am sending you to a realm where My essence is not seen. There I send you prophets and scholars, I send you books. Don't follow your own mind, He says. Don't follow your own mind. Your own mind, your Satan, your nafs and the world's fair appearance pull you away from Me, distance you, He says.
Don't befriend the enemies within you, He says. Surely Allah will judge between them in what they differed on. When? On the Day of Judgment. On the Day of Judgment. At the great court. Surely Allah does not guide the liar and the denier; here too there is a real mistake. For everyone the door of repentance is open until the soul reaches the throat; he can return. Yes. Our time is up.
I wish us all a good evening. May Allah keep you. If we live... Surah Ar-Rum, was that what you asked? I think I explained it.
If we live, if Allah grants it, we'll meet again next week. Inshallah. I'm going to set out on a journey. I'm traveling. I leave on Wednesday. Allah willing. Forgive me anything I owe you. One may go and not come back. One may come back and not see each other. Forgive me anything I owe you.
I'm going to a relative's hometown for some 15 to 20 days. Plus the time spent on the road. Maybe about a month will pass. But I'll continue my lessons. Don't worry at all. Ask whatever you want, it will reach me. May Allah keep you.
